Abstract

Perilaku makan yang kurang dalam mengonsumsi buah dan sayur dapat merugikan kesehatan. Mengonsumsi buah dan sayur memiliki banyak manfaat yaitu untuk mencegah terjadinya penyakit degeneratif. Remaja di Indonesia, masih tergolong rendah dalam mengonsumsi sayur dan buah. Hal ini dapat terjadi karena kurangnya pengetahuan terkait sayur dan buah. Tujuan pada penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi gizi menggunakan flipchart, video animasi dan permainan ular tangga terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap tentang sayur dan buah pada remaja SMPN 1 Karawang Timur. Metode penelitian yaitu menggunakan desain quasy experimental dengan rancangan pre-test dan pos-test grup desain. Subjek penelitian adalah remaja SMP dengan rentang usia 13-15 tahun berjumlah 30 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya pengaruh penggunaan media video animasi dengan (p= 0.006) pada pengetahuan dan (p=0.001) pada sikap. Pada media ular tangga juga terdapat pengaruh dengan (p= 0.000) pada pengetahuan dan p=0.014 pada sikap. Namun pada media flipchart terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap sikap (p=0.001) sedangkan pada pengetahuan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan (p=0.607). Kesimpulan media video animasi dan permainan ular tangga berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap pada remaja SMPN 1 Karawang Timur. Namun pada media flipchart terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada sikap sedangkan pada pengetahuan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan. Kata kunci: sayur, buah, pengetahuan, sikap, media

Abstract

Introduction: Excessive consumption of sugar, salt and fat in society due to lack of knowledge is increasing from year to year and causing high incidence of metabolic syndrome. Efforts to handle it can be done through nutrition education. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the influence of the media namely posters, animated videos and Live Youtube on knowledge of metabolic syndrome and recommendations for consumption of sugar, salt and fat in women of the Al-Mutaqqin taklim assembly. Method: The type of research is Quasi Experiment with Pretest – Posttest design group. A sample of 45 mothers were determined by purposive sampling technique. Knowledge is measured with a questionnaire instrument. Data were analyzed by using the Paired T Test and One Way Anova test using PostHoc and Tukey analysis. Result: . It was found that there was an effect of nutrition education with the three media on knowledge of metabolic syndrome and recommendations for consuming GGL with p<0.005. For Metabolic Syndrome Knowledge, Poster with live youtube with sig. of 0.027 <0.05 then H0 is rejected. Live Youtube with posters with sig numbers. of 0.027 <0.05 then H0 is rejected. It can be concluded that the group that was given the YouTube live media was better than the poster media and animated video media with the result that the knowledge of Metabolic Syndrome at the posttest increased more than the other media. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that all media have an effect on increasing knowledge about metabolic syndrome and recommending the consumption of sugar, salt and fat. The most influential media is YouTube live media because of its advantages that other media don't have, namely interaction.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 menyebabkan perubahan di masyarakat, seperti pembatasan aktivitas, selalu menjaga jarak antar sesama, dan menghindari keramaian. Proses pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring sehingga aktivitas anak terbatas. Hal tersebut meningkatkan peluang untuk memiliki sedentary lifestyle. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan sedentary lifestyle dengan status gizi remaja pada masa pandemi. Desain penelitian adalah cross-sectional. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Cibinong. Sampel penelitian adalah 195 siswa kelas 8 dengan pengambilan sampel secara simple random sampling . Kriteria inklusi sampel yaitu remaja awal siswa berusia 13-15 tahun dan bersedia mengikuti penelitian. Timbangan berat badan dan microtoise untuk menilai status gizi remaja. Kuesioner Adolescent Sedentary Activity Questionnaire (ASAQ) digunakan untuk menilai tingkat sedentary lifestyle. Sampel dalam penelitian sebagian besar berjenis kelamin perempuan (63,6%), berusia 14 tahun (60%), dan memiliki ayah dengan pendidikan terakahir SMA (49,2%). Asupan energi subjek tergolong defisit berat (80%), dan memiliki status gizi normal (65,1%). Meskipun demikian, sebanyak 15,4% memiliki status gizi gemuk dan 7,2% obesitas. Akan tetapi, penelitian ini belum dapat menunjukkan adanya hubungan sedentary lifestyle dengan status gizi remaja pada masa pandemi (P-value = 0,899). Diperoleh bahwa tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara sedentary lifestyle dengan status gizi remaja pada masa pandemi di SMP Negeri 1 Cibinong.

Abstract

In recent years, there have been many changes, one of which is the modern lifestyle. This lifestyle tends to be bad due to a lack of knowledge, which causes high levels of obesity-related diseases and has an impact on the occurrence of metabolic syndrome. The aim of this research is to determine whether or not there is an influence of poster media, educational videos, and random word puzzles on female students at SMPIT Mentari Ilmu Karawang. The type of research carried out was a quasi-experimental design with one group pre and post test to compare knowledge before and after being given a nutrition education media intervention. The sample used was 45 female student subjects. Data analysis using the Shapiro Wilk test, Wilcoxon test, and explanation in narrative form. The results of the research show an increase in nutritional knowledge in the three media from the results of the pre and post tests which were carried out with a p-value <0.05. Thus, this media can be used to facilitate young women in receiving nutritional information to prevent dangerous diseases, especially metabolic syndrome.

Abstract

Corona virus or COVID-19, the case started with pneumonia or a mysterious pneumonia in December 2019 in wuhan then spread throughout the world. At times like this, it is very important to try to increase the body's immunity by implementing the principles of a healthy lifestyle because the ability to survive this virus attack depends on the strength or weakness of immunity. Various important factors related to a person's immunity include diet, PHBS (Clean and Healthy Living Behavior), and no less important is stress management during a pandemic. Unfortunately, many people do not realize the importance of these factors in increasing immunity. Therefore, to increase public awareness, education is needed so that they can lead a more optimal healthy lifestyle. The target of the outreach activities that we carried out was to educate the community in Balai Kembang village, Mangkutana, East Luwu, South Sulawesi on November 17, 2019. The extension instruments used power point presentations and videos. Before and after the counseling, participants were given a knowledge questionnaire and the results were processed using SPSS Version 16. The extension went smoothly and had an impact on increasing community knowledge.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how the use of Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) improves students"™ narrative text writing. This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was conducted in two cycles. The research subject was XI IAI students of MAN 1 Pontianak consists of 38 students. The researcher collected the data of students"™ improvement in writing from students"™ results of writing narrative text, observation checklist, and field notes. It was found that students"™ narrative text writing improved from cycle 1 to cycle 2. The implementation of STAD improved students' skill to compose narrative text corresponding with the aspects of writing: content, organization, vocabulary, language use, and mechanics. Besides that, the students"™ teamwork and the courage to answer questions also increased due to the rewards given by the researcher. Therefore, the researcher recommends using STAD as a technique to teach writing narrative text.

Abstract

Latar belakang: WUS singkatan dari wanita usia subur. Menurut WHO, rentang usia WUS dari 15-49 tahun. WUS rentan terkena AGB dikarenakan mengalami kehamilan, menstruasi dan asupan zat besi yang kurang. AGB merupakan kepanjangan dari Anemia gizi besi, yaitu anemia dengan kekurangan zat besi. Berdasarkan Riskesdas 2018, prevalensi anemia di Indonesia sebesar 32% yang artinya 3-4 dari 10 remaja menderita anemia. Maka, bentuk upaya yang dapat dilakukan salah satunya dengan pemberianpendidikan gizi kepada WUS.Tujuan: Mengetahui perbandingan media poster digital dengan game digital terhadap pengetahuan AGB pada WUS.Metode: Penelitian quasy experiment dengan rancangan penelitian pre-test dan post-test. Terdapat dua kelompok perlakuan yang berbeda, yaitu kelompok media poster digital dan media game digital. Sampel dipilih secara purposive sampling dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi, sebanyak 36 orang. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji Paired Sample T-test atau uji t-Dependen dengan p=0,05.Hasil: Penggunaan media poster digital lebih berpengaruh signifikan (p0.05) dalam peningkatan pengetahuan tentang AGB pada WUS. Sedangkan, pada penggunaan media game digital tidak berpengaruh yang signifikan (p0.05) dalam peningkatan pengetahuan tentang AGB pada WUS.Kesimpulan: Adanya peningkatan pengetahuan sebelum dan setelah diberikan intervensi pada masing-masing kelompok. Tetapi, hanya kelompok media poster digital yang lebih berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengetahuan anemia gizi besi pada wanita usia subur dibandingkan dengan media game edukasi digital.

Lack of knowledge in adolescents about balanced nutrition allows them to choose foods that tend to be unhealthy and less nutritious and result in unstable weight gain or loss.Objective : This study aims to determine the differences in the effect of nutrition education on general guidelines for balanced nutrition using Podcast media through the Spotify platform and video media on adolescents.Methods : This type of research is a quasi-experiment with pre and post-test with two group designs. The number of samples was 30 students of grade eight in Junior High School. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Analysis of data using the Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney tests.Results : The results showed the highest increase in the mean score of general guidelines for balanced nutrition knowledge (12.67 ± 1.58) and were significant in the group given Podcast media (p = 0.003) and the group given video intervention also showed an increase (13.93 ± 2, 07) with p-value = 0.007. It was found that there were differences in the use of Podcast media and video  on adolescent knowledge about general guidelines for balanced nutrition (p = 0.007).Conclusion : Podcasts and videos affect increasing knowledge level about general guidelines for balanced nutrition in adolescents. Keywords : Adolescents; balanced nutrition guidelines; podcast; spotify; video

Abstract

Background:Food is a basic human necessity for survival. The existence of food handlers provides an important role in maintaining food quality.  Food consumed must meet safety standards so as not to pose a health risk. So knowledge about personal hygiene and food sanitation is needed to be key in preventing the risk of contamination. Food handlers should gain increased knowledge and behavior through education to prevent health risks caused by lack of knowledgeObjectives: This study aims to explore the influence of education related to hygiene and sanitation through the media of videos, posters, and educational mirrors on increasing knowledge and attitudes of food handlers.Methods: This study uses the SLR method of special research design sourced from google scholar and, Pubmed from the last 10 years using inclusion and exclusion criteria in this study following the approach of Population / Problem, Intervention, Comparison Outcome and Study design type (PICOS).Results: The results included three articles that assessed the effects of education using video communication media, posters, and educational mirrors on improving the knowledge and attitudes of food handlers. The installation of personal hygiene posters is effective in all age groups, while visual media such as videos have a significant positive impact with visual media having a positive impact on increasing one's knowledge by 75%-87%.Conclusion: Education through media through the media of videos, posters, and educational mirrors can help increase the knowledge and attitude of food handlers, support safety and hygiene in food provision KeywordsHygiene education, communication media, knowledge and attitudes of food handlers
