Abstract

The Islamic financial industry has an important role in supporting a sustainable economy, along with positive growth that can be seen from the development of its assets. One of the sectors, Islamic banking, also shows assets that grow significantly yearly. Islamic banking uses Islamic financial market instruments such as PUAS, FASBIS, and Sukuk to manage these assets. Therefore, this research wants to know the relationship of PUAS, FASBIS, and Sukuk to Islamic Banking assets and the influence of inflation and interest rate variables. By using a quantitative approach and secondary data processed by the VAR / VECM method, the results show that in the long term, PUAS, FASBIS, Sukuk, and BI Rate significantly influence Islamic banking assets. In the short term, only PUAS and Inflation significantly influence Islamic banking assets.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of pocket money and Islamic financial literacy on student consumption behavior at SMAS AL-KAHFI Islamic Boarding School. The research background is based on the importance of students' understanding of personal financial management, especially in the context of pesantren based education that integrates sharia values. The research method used was quantitative with a multiple linear regression approach to test the relationship between free variables (sharia allowance and financial literacy) and bound variables (consumption behavior). The population in this study is all students of SMAS AL-KAHFI which is 675 people. A sample of 60 students was selected using the Hair et al. formula, with data collection techniques through questionnaires as primary data sources and literature studies as secondary data. Data analysis is carried out with the help of statistical software to test the validity, reliability, and significance of relationships between variables. The results of the study show that simultaneously, pocket money and Islamic financial literacy have a significant influence on students' consumption behavior. Partially, allowances have a positive and significant effect, showing that the larger the allowance received, the higher the tendency of students to consume. Meanwhile, Islamic financial literacy has a positive but insignificant effect, which indicates that understanding of Islamic finance principles has not fully affected students' consumption patterns in real terms. A determination coefficient of 85.5% indicates that both independent variables are able to explain most of the variation in students' consumption behavior, while the rest are influenced by other factors outside the model. This research contributes to the development of Islamic finance education in the pesantren based school environment and becomes the basis for wiser management of pocket money among students.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of the murabahah contract in resolving Non-Performing Financing (NPF) for micro-enterprises through collateral auction at the Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Ahmad Yani Branch Office, Area Bandung Raya. The primary objective is to analyze the conformity of the auction process with comprehensive Sharia principles (fiqih muamalah), particularly focusing on the final stage of debt resolution. Employing a qualitative-descriptive method, data was gathered through literature review and direct interviews with personnel from the bank's collection and recovery department. The findings indicate that the NPF resolution procedure is conducted systematically and ethically, beginning with warnings, mediation, and intensive restructuring efforts, such as rescheduling and reconditioning, in line with the spirit of ta'awun and Fatwa DSN MUI No. 48/2005. The auction is only performed as a final, likuidatif resort when the customer is non-cooperative or entirely unable to pay after all 3R attempts have failed. Crucially, the process generally aligns with positive regulations and Sharia provisions, including the transparent process of Muzayyadah through KPKNL. Key aspects of Sharia compliance include the bank's commitment to returning any surplus funds from the collateral sale directly to the customer, thereby avoiding ghulul (fraudulent gain), and the provision of the option to waive the remaining debt for customers deemed genuinely unable to fulfill their obligations, in line with Fatwa DSN MUI No 47/DSN-MUI/II/2005. This research provides practical insights for Islamic financial institutions on balancing effectiveness in debt resolution with the imperative of comprehensive Sharia compliance and ethical transactional justice.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the spillover effect of the stock indexes of the United States, China, and Japan as the global benchmark stock indexes on the movement of the Islamic stock market in Indonesia in the period before, during, and after the Covid-19 pandemic crisis. The analysis model used is the Vector Autoregression (VAR) or Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) model to observe the spillover effect and Granger Causality Test to examine the causality among the variables. The results of this study indicate that both the New York Stock Exchange as a representation of the US stock index, the Shanghai Stock Exchange as a representation of the Chinese stock index, and the Nikkei 225 Index as a representation of the Japanese stock index have a spillover effect on the Jakarta Islamic Index in the period before, during, and after the Covid-19 pandemic crisis. In addition, the US, China, and Japan stock indexes have a causal relationship with the Indonesian Islamic stock market in the period before, during, and after the Covid-19 pandemic crisis.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Zakat, Infaq, and Alms (ZIS), corruption, and education on income inequality in Indonesia. Utilizing a quantitative approach with time-series data from 2011 to 2022, the research employs the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) framework to analyze both long-term and short-term dynamics. Findings indicate that ZIS and corruption exert a negative and significant impact on income inequality, whereas education shows a positive but insignificant effect. The study concludes that religious philanthropy and institutional integrity are pivotal in narrowing the economic gap. Policy implications suggest that the government should optimize zakat management systems and intensify anti-corruption measures to ensure more equitable income distribution. Additionally, strategic improvements in educational quality are essential to support sustainable and long-term economic equality.

Abstract

The development of inclusive tourism in Indonesia is crucial because it aims to ensure that everyone, including people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups, has equal opportunities in tourism activities. This study aims to explore the role of communities empowering women with disabilities in the development of inclusive tourism. This study used qualitative methods through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation, involving informants from the women with disabilities community, tourism group, MSMEs, regional officials, and the local community. The results show that the women with disabilities community plays a strategic role in realizing sustainable inclusive tourism. Member participation increases self-confidence, expands social networks, and provides additional income for community members. Furthermore, the implementation of inclusive tourism has positive impacts on the community, such as increased economic activity, preservation of local culture, and strengthening environmental awareness. However, challenges remain, including strengthening government and community support, improving accessible infrastructure, expanding training programs, and strengthening cross-stakeholder collaboration to create truly inclusive and competitive tourism destinations.
