Abstract

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Zakat, Infaq, and Alms (ZIS), corruption, and education on income inequality in Indonesia. Utilizing a quantitative approach with time-series data from 2011 to 2022, the research employs the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) framework to analyze both long-term and short-term dynamics. Findings indicate that ZIS and corruption exert a negative and significant impact on income inequality, whereas education shows a positive but insignificant effect. The study concludes that religious philanthropy and institutional integrity are pivotal in narrowing the economic gap. Policy implications suggest that the government should optimize zakat management systems and intensify anti-corruption measures to ensure more equitable income distribution. Additionally, strategic improvements in educational quality are essential to support sustainable and long-term economic equality.

Using a quantitative approach, the study surveyed 120 MSME owners from the Jakpreneur program in Jakarta. Quantitative data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that a well-designed digital financing business model significantly increases MSMEs’ use of digital financing platforms, which in turn improves financial access. Financial access has a strong positive effect on productivity and facilitates job creation, primarily through better employee welfare and capacity expansion. These findings highlight that digital financing not only enhances access to capital but also drives operational efficiency and sustainable business growth. The study contributes to the understanding of how digital financial solutions can act as a catalyst for inclusive economic development and provides insights for platform providers, policymakers, and future researchers to optimize their role in empowering MSMEs.

The results show that the women with disabilities community plays a strategic role in realizing sustainable inclusive tourism. Member participation increases self-confidence, expands social networks, and provides additional income for community members. Furthermore, the implementation of inclusive tourism has positive impacts on the community, such as increased economic activity, preservation of local culture, and strengthening environmental awareness. However, challenges remain, including strengthening government and community support, improving accessible infrastructure, expanding training programs, and strengthening cross-stakeholder collaboration to create truly inclusive and competitive tourism destinations.
