Abstract

Mental illness is a condition where the sufferer has problems related to mental, physical, developmental and social disorders which can hinder the life process in interacting with the environment or other people properly. Limited mental health service facilities and a lack of understanding about mental illness often cause sufferers to ignore their condition, which can worsen their illness. From this problem, so it is necessary to have an expert system that can diagnose mental illness. This research aims to produce the design and development of an expert system for diagnosing mental illness so that it is able to overcome existing limitations and reduce the level of risk of mental illness. The Dempster Shafer method is used to assess the level of confidence in decision making regarding a disease by paying attention to each selected symptom value. This research produces an expert system that includes 28 symptom data and 5 disease data providing output in the form of diagnosis results, symptoms, the highest percentage of a disease and appropriate advice. This system has been tested with 15 test data, with an accuracy success rate of 86.6%.

Abstract

PKU Muhammadiyah Sukoharjo Hospital is a health facility located in Sukoharjo, Central Java. The role of the hospital in the Sukoharjo community is very important in terms of the level of community satisfaction with its services and facilities. Opinions and assessments from the community also affect the assessment of the quality of service provided by the hospital. A large assessment can be seen on Google Maps review, which will take time for the community. Public complaints on Google Maps review of PKU Muhammadiyah Sukoharjo Hospital became the basic object of this research. This research uses the Naive Bayes algorithm to categorize the assessment based on positive and negative sentiments. Two hundred nine review data from Google Maps were processed with text processing and classified using Naïve Bayes. Test results using 10% test data show a dominant positive sentiment, with 90% accuracy, 94% precision, and 83% recall.

Abstract

A student's ability to complete courses is influenced by various factors, including academic and non-academic aspects. Understanding the factors that influence it is very important to know in order to anticipate and prevent the possibility of failure in the study. It turns out that non-academic factors also have a big influence on student success, especially family factors, such as the level of education obtained by parents, the employment status of parents and the income of both parents. To be able to understand these factors, studies are needed to predict student performance based on family background factors using machine learning models, support vector machine algorithms, naïve Bayes, neural networks and decision trees. The data used was 365 records and 11 attributes, separated by 70% for train data and 30% for test data, which was then used by kfold cross validation to evaluate the results using the parameters n_split=10 and random_state=42. In the confusion matrix parameters, the average (mean) accuracy value for the support vector machine model was 87.68%, naïve Bayes was 90.97%, neural network was 87.95% and decision tree was 85.75%. Meanwhile, the best fold result for SVM is located at the 10th fold with an accuracy of 94.44%, for NB it is located at the 4th fold with an accuracy value of 97.29%, for NN it is located at the 4th fold with an accuracy value of 94.59% and for DT is located on the 5th fold with an accuracy value of 91.89%. Thus, evaluation using k-fold cross validation can be used to predict student performance based on family attributes using the 4th fold which has the highest accuracy of 97.29% in the naïve Bayes model algorithm in order to graduate on time.

Abstract

Adeeva baby spa merupakan rumah pelayanan baby spa untuk bayi baru lahir sampai bayi usia dibawah lima tahun (balita). Pelayanan yang telah dilakukan antara lain baby care, mom care, pijat bayi, terapi batuk dan pilek, terapi uap dan terapi tumbuh kembang. Terapi tumbuh kembang di adeeva baby spa sangat minim peminatnya, padahal tumbuh kembang anak itu penting di masa golden ages. Sasarannya adalah orangtua yang melakukan pelatanan do adeeva babyspa. Untuk memberi pengetahuan kepada orangtua tentang pentingnya tumbuh kembang anak, adeeva baby spa selalu mengenalkan kepada pelanggan sebelum memulai pelayanan agar bayi dan anak yang melakukan pelayanan dapat sehat dan tumbuh kembang sesuai dengan pertumbukan di buku KIA. Pihak adeeva menemui kesulitan karena minimnya sarana. Tim pengabdian dari Universitas Duta Bangsa Surakarta membuat aplikasi screening tumbuh kembang dengan metode KPSP, alasan pemilihan metode ini adalah metode KPSP ini yang sudah diterapkan pada Adeeva babyspa. Screening dengan metode KPSP diberikan dalam bentuk lebaran kertas berbentuk grafik yang tertulis kegiatan dan umur orangtua didampingi oleh pihak adeeva baby spa dalam proses pengisiannya. akan tetapi lembaran kertas yang bertisi grafik tersebut terdapat kendala sering hilang dan sulit untuk didokumentasikan. Oleh karena itu tim pengabdian melakukan pendampingan implementasi aplikasi dengan harapan orang tua lebih paham tentang pengetahuan tumbuh kembang anak, sehingga masa golden age dapat dimaksimalkan menuju Indonesia yang lebih baik.

Abstract

One outlet that offers various types of electric bicycles is EV7 Solo. EV7 Solo is a large shop that sells electric bicycles of various brands and types. The services provided by the team at the shop currently still work using traditional methods, where customers need to come directly to the shop to choose and buy products. The density of potential buyers coming at the same time makes the service from EV7 Solo slow and makes potential buyers feel uncomfortable. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a recommendation system that can help customers choose products. electric bicycle. This research aims to design an Electric Bicycle Product Selection Recommendation System using knowledge-based methods. The system development method used in this research is Rapid Application Development (RAD), which includes the stages of business modeling, data modeling and process modeling. Knowledge-based recommendation systems have the advantage of prioritizing user needs for products by calculating the similarities between customer needs and electric bicycle product attributes. This knowledge-based electric bicycle product selection recommendation system model provides five search attributes for electric bicycle products, namely brand, price, mileage, color and maximum speed. By using 30 sample data, the results of the knowledge-based recommendation method modeling can provide recommendations for electric bicycle products based on criteria set by customers through calculating the similarity between customer needs and the attributes listed on the electric bicycle product. Product Data: Electric bicycle products with the highest similarity value will be recommended to customers, such as the Powelldd a400 Black electric bicycle product which received the highest similarity value of 0.795. The results of this research can serve as a guide for developing a recommendation system in selecting electric bicycle products.

Abstract

Kumara Store offers a diverse range of cosmetics and skincare products in Mandan, Sukoharjo. Due to the extensive variety of products, customers frequently find it challenging to select basic skincare items. To address this issue, developing a recommendation system is crucial to assist customers in finding the most suitable products. This study employs the Content-Based Filtering method alongside the Rapid Application Development approach. The system features include product search and viewing capabilities, with recommendations being generated for users. Admin features allow for the management of attributes and data related to basic skincare products. The Content-Based Filtering technique recommends similar products based on their features or attributes. With 35 product samples and 6 attributes examined, the product Emina MS Pimple achieves the highest similarity score of 0.694 and will be recommended as a basic skincare product. This research can provide a foundation for future studies aimed at enhancing accuracy.

Abstract

Perkembangan dunia teknologi informasi dan komunikasi semakin pesat dan merambah ke beberapa sektor salah satunya yaitu dunia kesehatan. Salah satu hal yang dapat membantu di Dunia Kesehatan adalah membuat sesuatu yang dapat berfikir dan bertindak lazimnya manusia yang bisa disebut dengan “Sistem Pakar”. Gangguan tumbuh kembang balita berdampak negatif jangka panjang. Akses terbatas ke fasilitas kesehatan, seperti posyandu yang hanya sebulan sekali dan konsultasi dokter anak yang mahal serta waktu praktek terbatas, meningkatkan kasus gangguan tumbuh kembang pada balita. Dalam bidang ini, sistem pakar berguna dalam mendeteksi gangguan tumbuh kembang pada balita. Sistem pakar ini menggunakan metode certainty factor. Metode certainty factor akan berjalan dari fakta yang diimplementasikan dengan bagian IF dan THEN, kemudian melalui rule-rule yang berisi gejala dan penyakitnya, dan akhirnya menghasilkan diagnosis penyakit. Setelah dilakukan pengujian dengan menggunakan 15 sampel data pasien menunjukkan hasil akurasi sebesar 93%. Sistem pakar ini memungkinkan orang tua pasien mendeteksi gangguan tumbuh kembang balita secara dini dengan cepat, sehingga bisa segera mendapatkan perawatan terpadu dari dokter spesialis

Abstract

TB. Sami Jaya is a construction materials provider company offering key components like sand, nails, cement, iron, heavy steel, and electronic products for infrastructure construction projects. In the era of rapid technological development, the company faces the challenge of making accurate sales predictions. This study aims to develop a sales prediction system using Support Vector Machine (SVM) to help TB. Sami Jaya optimize the supply of construction materials based on existing transaction data, collected from November to December 2023. By identifying relevant trends and patterns, the goal is to generate more reliable projections, thereby reducing the risk of inventory excess or shortage, which increases operational costs and decreases customer satisfaction. The model's performance is evaluated by comparing the prediction results with actual data using metrics such as Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Mean Squared Error (MSE), and Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE). The Rational Unified Process (RUP) method is employed for information system development. The results indicate that using SVM for predicting sales of construction materials is effective and helps optimize inventory management.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah mengubah cara layanan kesehatan disediakan dengan maraknya layanan kesehatan online yang semakin diminati. Akan tetapi, mengidentifikasi penyakit mata secara online menjadi sebuah tantangan karena kompleksitas gejala yang ada dan kendala dalam pemeriksaan fisik yang terbatas. Pembuatan sistem pakar berbasis website dengan menggunakan metode Certainty Factor (CF) adalah langkah penting dalam mendukung layanan kesehatan mata secara online. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya diagnosis awal yang cepat dan akurat untuk penyakit mata seperti konjungtivitis, glaukoma, atau degenerasi makula. Sistem pakar berbasis CF di Klinik Netra Husada Wonogiri bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi yang efektif terutama ketika akses langsung ke dokter mata terbatas. Pemilihan metode CF karena kemampuannya dalam mengatasi ketidakpastian dalam proses diagnosis dan memberikan estimasi kepercayaan terhadap hasil diagnosis. Selain menyediakan kemudahan akses, sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya perawatan mata. Dengan akses yang lebih mudah, diharapkan masyarakat akan lebih proaktif dalam memantau kesehatan mata mereka sendiri dan mencari bantuan medis jika diperlukan, guna mencegah terjadinya komplikasi serius. Pengembangan sistem pakar berbasis website dengan metode Certainty Factor untuk diagnosis awal penyakit mata memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan kualitas layanan kesehatan mata secara online. Penelitian dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap, dari mulai pengumpulan data hingga pengembangan sistem dengan metode waterfall. Harapannya sistem ini mampu memberikan diagnosis awal dengan cepat, akurat, dan dapat dipercaya, sehingga meningkatkan tingkat kesejahteraan dan kualitas hidup masyarakat.
