Background: Impaired mobility in stroke patients often causes excessive pressure on the skin, increasing the risk of pressure ulcers. If left untreated, decubitus wounds can get worse and lead to infection. Based on evidence, regular right-left tilt mobilization is a potential intervention to prevent pressure ulcers. Objective: Analyze the application of right-slant-left-slant mobilization to prevent pressure ulcers in stroke patients at Ibu Fatmawati Soekarno Regional Hospital, Surakarta City. Method: Descriptive research design with a case study approach, carried out every 3 hours on 2 respondents to explore the application of right oblique-left oblique mobilization in preventing pressure ulcers in stroke patients. Results: Before implementing the right oblique-left oblique mobilization every 3 hours the respondent was at moderate risk with a score of Tn .S 15, Ny.S 16 and pressure ulcers can be prevented. Conclusion: There is an effect of tilting mobilization to the right and left which is indicated by a decrease in the risk of developing pressure ulcers at the Ibu Fatmawati Soekarno Regional Hospital, Surakarta City.

Introduction: The presence of critical patients being treated in intensive care can hurt on the physical and psychological condition of their families, including lack of attention to personal hygiene, insomnia, decreased appetite, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic syndrome disorder (PTSD). This negative impact can be minimized through the role of nurses by meeting the family's needs while the patient is being treated in the intensive care room. Objective: This research aims to determine the description of meeting the needs of families of critical patients by nurses in the ICU at Ario Wirawan Lung Hospital, Salatiga. Method: The design of this research is descriptive with a survey approach using a questionnaire developed from the Critical Care Family Needs Inventory (CCFNI). The sampling technique used was total sampling with a total of 30 nurses as respondents. The data analysis used is univariate and bivariate. Results: Research shows that the majority of respondents, 60% or 18 nurses, have a good role. On average, the categories for fulfilling the needs of the patient's family carried out by nurses were the same, namely the good and bad categories for 15 respondents or 50%. Bivariate analysis results p value = 0.000 (< 0.05). Conclusion: There is a relationship between the role of nurses and meeting the needs of the families of patients treated in the ICU.

Background: Head injury is a serious problem that can lead to death and even death. Handling of head injuries starts from protecting the brain with blood flow to the brain so that hypoxia or brain ischemia does not occur. Hemodynamics is the result of measuring systolic and diastolic blood pressure, pulse rate, and respiratory rate. Objectives: This literature review aims to find out what interventions can be done when there is an increase in hemodynamic status in head injury patients Methods: This database search was conducted by searching on google scholars with the keywords head injury, hemodynamics. The inclusion criteria of this literature review are articles that were researched within the last 5 years with the year published 2015-2020, full text, using the Indonesian language, the article that used is the article. Results: Interventions that can be done when there is an increase in hemodynamic status in head injury patients are giving oxygen and increasing 30o, giving oxygen through a simple mask and head position 30o, giving head-up position 30o compared to 15o position, giving nasal prong oxygenation therapy and murotal therapy Al-Qur'an for 30 minutes 3 times/day. Conclusion: All interventions resulting from this literature review were in the form of giving oxygen and increasing the head 30o, giving oxygen through a simple mask and head position 30o, giving the head position 30o compared to 15o position, giving nasal branch oxygenation therapy, and murotal Al-Qur'an therapy for 30 minutes 3 times/day.

Background: Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a type of metabolic disorder characterized by hyperglycemia which leads to serious complications. One physical activity that can be applied is progressive muscle relaxation, which focuses on sequentially tightening and relaxing muscle groups resulting in controlled blood glucose levels so that holistic treatment is needed. Objective: To determine the results of the application of Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) to reduce blood glucose levels in people with type 2 diabetes mellitus at RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta. Method: This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research with a case study approach (Case Study). The design for this application was a control group design which was applied to 1 respondent with Diabetes Mellitus Type 2. Results: Based on the results of this application, it was found that blood glucose levels decreased after Progressive Muscle Relaxation was carried out, which was indicated by the number of high glucose levels decreasing. Comparison before and after applying Progressive Muscle Relaxation, before being given the application of PMR high blood sugar levels were 415 mg/dl and after being given the application of PMR 2 times a day (morning and evening) for 3 consecutive days normal blood sugar levels were 173 mg/dl etc. Conclusion: Blood sugar levels before the application were given were high and after the application was given the patient's blood sugar levels were normal.
