The prevalence of Diabetes Mellitus in Central Java is 1.59% or around 91,161 people. In Karanganyar Regency there are 2% of people with diabetes mellitus or around 2,322 people of the total population. In people with diabetes mellitus to reduce vascular complications, neuropathy, and to achieve normal blood glucose levels by doing physical exercise. One of the physical exercises is by providing progressive muscle relaxation exercises. Knowing the results of implementing progressive muscle relaxation on blood sugar levels in patients with type II diabetes mellitus at Karanganyar Hospital. This research is a descriptive research with a case study approach. Implementation was carried out 3 times for 3 consecutive days. There was a decrease in blood sugar levels after doing progressive muscle relaxation exercises. The first day of the respondent Mr. R had a blood sugar level of 244 mg/dl after implementation to 216mg/dl. Respondent Mrs. W sugar content from 368 mg/dl to 349 mg/dl. Respondent Mr. R on the first day to the third day had a difference in blood sugar levels of 28-30 mg/dl, and the respondent Mrs. From the first day to the third day, the difference in blood sugar levels was 19-22 mg/dl. Respondent Mr. R has a more significant difference in the blood sugar level score compared to the respondent Ny. W after progressive muscle relaxation.

The prevalence of heart failure in Indonesia based on a doctor's diagnosis is estimated at 1.5% or around 29,550 people. Congestive heart failure is caused by interference and blockage of blood flow in the heart so that it will cause signs and symptoms of heart failure in the systemic circulation and pulmonary circulation such as pain, shortness of breath. The problem that often occurs in patients with congestive heart failure is shortness of breath, so non-pharmacological management is needed, one of which is semi-Fowler's position. To find out the results of applying semi-Fowler's position to congestive heart failure patients. The application was carried out using a case study descriptive method to 2 respondents with a diagnosis of Congestive Heart Failure carried out 3 days for 1x a day for 15 minutes. Based on the results of the implementation that has been done, there is an increase in oxygen saturation in congestive heart failure patients by 3-4%. Giving a semi-fowler position can be used as a non-pharmacological technique or independent intervention in patients with congestive heart failure.

Background: Decubitus ulcers are damage/death of the skin to the tissue under the skin, if not treated immediately it will be one of the factors a person dies. The prevalence of decubitus in America is around 25%, in Europe it is 10.5% and in England it is from 6.7% to 42.7%, and in Indonesia as a whole it is 33%.The implementation of preventing decubitus pharmacologically, one of which is by rubbing massage on the back which is called massage efflurage. Purpose: to determine whether there is an effect of massage efflurage on decubitus prevention. Method: this type of research is descriptive with a case study. The application was carried out on 2 patients selected by purposive sampling method with inclusion and exclusion criteria. This efflurage massage is carried out for 4-5 minutes 2x/day for 3 days. The research instrument used SOP massage efflurage by doing massage by applying a little rubbing pressure, observation sheets and informed consent. Results: from the results of observations made for 3 days on 2 respondents Ny. S and Mr. M indicates that the braden scale increases from day 2 and 3, which means that there is a reduced risk of developing decubitus in 2 respondents. Conclusion: there is an effect of VCO efflurage massage to prevent pressure sores in patients in the ICU.

The most dental health problems in Indonesia are damaged/cavities/pain by 54%. The high number of dental health problems is influenced by several factors, one of which is knowledge and behavior factors that have not realized the importance of maintaining dental health. Knowing the relationship between the level of knowledge on the behavior of maintaining dental health in children in grade IV-VI students at SDN Mranggen Polokarto Sukoharjo. This research is a quantitative research using a cross sectional approach method. The total population is 247 students and the sample is 71 grade IV-VI students at SDN 1 Mranggen, SDN 2 Mranggen, and SDN 3 Mranggen Polokarto Sukoharjo. Data collection using questionnaire with analysis test using Spearman Rho. obtained knowledge level of 78.9% good category and behavior of 66.2% medium category and analysis results obtained P.Value of 0.014 (< 0.05). Based on the results obtained, it was concluded that there was a relationship between the level of knowledge on the behavior of maintaining dental health in grade IV-VI students of Mranggen Polokarto Sukoharjo State Elementary School.

Background: Hypertension is one of the factors that is the main cause of death for stroke sufferers and is also a factor that can aggravate heart attacks. Non-pharmacological treatment usually includes exercise, improving diet and relaxing. Autogenic relaxation is relaxation that comes from oneself by using a word or sentence that calms a person's mind and is proven to be able to control several body functions such as blood pressure and blood flow. Objective: To determine the application of autogenic relaxation to reduce blood pressure in hypertension patients in the lotus ward at RSUD dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Wonogiri. Method: Autogenic relaxation with patients suffering from hypertension was carried out on 2 respondents for 3 days with a duration of 15-20 minutes and blood pressure was measured before and after application. Results: It was found that there was an effect of autogenic relaxation on reducing blood pressure in the blood pressure of respondents Mrs. W 215/109 to 177/96 and Mrs. N 173/100 to 158/92. Conclusion: Based on research that has been conducted, auogenic relaxation has been proven to be significant in reducing blood pressure in hypertension patients.

Latar Belakang; Prevalensi World Health Organization (WHO) tahun 2022, terdapat 12.224.551 kasus terbaru setiap tahun dan 101.474.558 individu yang hidup saat ini pernah mengalami stroke. Angka kematian akibat stroke sebanyak 6.552.724 orang. Pada penderita stroke upaya rehabilitatif salah satunya yaitu Range Of Motion bentuk rehabilitasi yang diberikan pada pasien stroke. Tujuan; Mengetahui hasil implementasi penerapan ROM Aktif Asistif Spherical Grip terhadap peningkatan kekuatan otot ekstremitas atas dengan stroke non hemoragik di RSUD Karanganyar. Metode; penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif yang menggunakan studi kasus. Implementasi dilakukan selama 3 hari berturut-turut dimana sehari dilakukan 2 kali perlakuan. Hasil; Sebelum implementasi ROM Aktif Asistif Spherical Grip dilakukan pengecekan skala kekuatan otot memiliki hasil skala 3, pada hari pertama responden Tn. S memiliki skala kekuatan begitu juga untuk Tn.M. Setelah implemetasi ROM Aktif Asistif Spherical Grip pada hari terakhir Tn. S dan Tn. M memiliki hasil yang cenderung meningkat yaitu skala kekuatan otot 4. Kesimpulan; Terdapat perkembangan dan peningkatan skala kekuatan otot antara sebelum dan sesudah implementasi ROM Aktif Asistif Spherical Grip pada 2 responden dengan diagnosa stroke non hemoragik dibangsal Mawar 1 RSUD Karanganyar.

Background: Blood pressure is an important indicator in assessing the cardiovascular system and the performance of a person's body so it is necessary to know that someone has hypertension. There are 1.28 billion adults with hypertension in the world in 2021 who suffer from hypertension. While the number of patients in the ICU who suffered from hypertension in the last 1 year was 140 patients. Based on these conditions, management is needed to reduce blood pressure by providing Foot Massage intervention. Objective: To find out the results of the implementation of giving Foot Massage on Lowering Blood Pressure in Hypertensive Patients in the ICU Room at PKU Muhammadiyah Karanganyar Hospital. Method : This type of research is a case study of foot massage in hypertensive patients. Results: The results of the implementation of Foot Massage found a decrease in blood pressure in both rospenden Mr. M from 145/90mmHg to 125/80mmHg, and Mrs. W 159/100mmHg to 130/90mmHg Conclusion: There are differences in blood pressure in hypertensive patients after Foot Massage therapy at PKU Muhammadiyah Karanganyar Hospital.

Bed rest is a condition when a person cannot move freely due to conditions that interfere with movement (activity). Pressure sores are one of the biggest impacts of bed rest. One of the interventions to prevent pressure sores is giving Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) through massage. Aims; Knowing the results of the implementation of giving Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) through Massage on the prevention of pressure sores on bed rest patients in the ICU Room of PKU Muhammadiyah Karanganyar Hospital. Method; This type of research is descriptive in the form of a case study. The approach used is the nursing care approach: planning, implementation, and evaluation. Respondents in this study amounted to two patients with a risk of pressure sores. The instrument uses an observation sheet and a Braden scale measurement questionnaire. Results; The results of the implementation showed that the Braden scale rose for both respondents for the first respondent, the Braden scale became 11, and for the second respondent, it became 15. Conclusion; There are differences in the Braden Scale in patients at risk of pressure sores after giving Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) through Massage at PKU Muhammadiyah Karanganyar Hospital.

Background: The prevalence of extreme pain in medical and surgical patients admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is more than 80.0%. One of the nonpharmacological therapies that can be used to control pain is the distraction technique with music therapy, where this application uses gamelan music therapy. Objective: To determine the results of the implementation of gamelan music therapy to reduce postoperative pain intensity in the Intensive Care Unit of Pandan Arang Hospital Boyolali. Method: The design used in this application is using a descriptive case study approach. Application is carried out for 30 minutes 2x a day in 4 consecutive days. Findings: Comparison of the final results of application showed that on the 4th day after the implementation of the VDS scale the two respondents were the same, namely on the pain scale 3. The results of the CPOT scale on the 4th day of Mrs. W after implementation are a scale of 4. The results of the CPOT scale on the 4th day of Mrs. S after implementation are a scale of 3. Implication: From the final results of the application before and after it can be concluded that gamelan music therapy can reduce the intensity of pain in postoperative patients in the ICU of Pandan Arang Hospital Boyolali.

Hypertension is a disease that can be experienced by various groups of people from high to lower middle social levels, from teenagers to the elderly where this condition experiences an increase in blood pressure from normal conditions (130/80 mmHg). One non-pharmacological intervention, namely foot reflexology, is an option because this action is safe for patients because it is not invasive and is easy to do by traffic. Foot reflexology massage is able to improve blood flow, the nerve points of the feet are massaged and have a relaxing effect on the body. Foot massage has a mechanical effect of improving blood circulation so it can lower blood pressure. To determine the results of applying foot reflexology massage on blood pressure in hypertensive patients at Karanganyar Regional Using a descriptive method in the form of a case study for 2 patients with hypertension. Respondent 1 before applying foot reflexology massage found blood pressure from 176/100 mmHg to 165/90 mmHg. Meanwhile, Respondent 2 before applying foot reflexology massage found that his blood pressure was 150/90 to 143/80. Foot reflexology massage can be used as a non-pharmacological technique to reduce blood pressure in hypertension patients.
