Abstract

The National Health Insurance or JKN, which was launched on January 1 2014, is intended to increase public access to comprehensive and quality health services, so as to achieve universal health coverage (UHC). Effective promotive-preventive efforts will reduce the incidence of disease and have an impact on reducing the number of sick people and the number of people seeking treatment so that health financing is more efficient. Family planning (KB) services are part of promotive-preventive efforts. In the management of program contraceptive devices provided by the government in the last 3 years, various problems were still encountered, including shortages of contraceptive devices (stock out), accumulation of Alkon in storage warehouses, and Alkon distribution mechanisms that were not smooth. The research was conducted using a descriptive quantitative approach. Research location in East Lombok Regency taking into account the high vacancy of Alkon (Data F/II/KB online). Then, 31 First Level Health Facilities (FKTP) were taken, namely Community Health Centers, Doctor's Practices, Pratama Clinics and Type D Pratama Hospitals. The research was carried out for 6 months, namely May-October 2017. The results of the research show that in general the management of Alkon in the OPD-KB of East Lombok Regency has complied with technical instructions, but there are several mechanisms for providing, storing, distributing, recording and reporting as well as Alkon monitoring and evaluation requires clear and written Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) that refer to technical manuals, and are spread throughout the OPD-KB, UPT-KB, Health Faskes and Network areas, so that the management of the mechanism runs uniformly.

Abstract

Sexual violence in educational settings, including Islamic boarding schools, is a serious issue that often goes unnoticed due to various factors, such as a culture of silence, power relations, and a lack of legal awareness. West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) ranks second nationally for the highest number of reported cases of sexual violence. Based on the need for a proper understanding of the impact and prevention of sexual violence against children, this community service activity was conducted in Islamic boarding schools throughout West Lombok. The aim was to increase legal awareness among students regarding their rights as victims of sexual violence and to introduce available legal protection mechanisms. The methods used were dialogue-based legal education and community-based empowerment through seminars, focus group discussions, and short training sessions involving students, male and female religious teachers (ustadz), Islamic boarding school administrators, and community leaders. The results of this activity showed an increase in students' understanding of the forms of sexual violence, their rights to legal protection, and accessible reporting channels. This legal education is expected to be the first step in building a more responsive and legally aware protection system within Islamic boarding schools.ABSTRAKKekerasan seksual di lingkungan pendidikan, termasuk pondok pesantren, merupakan persoalan serius yang masih sering luput dari perhatian karena berbagai faktor, seperti budaya diam, relasi kuasa, dan minimnya pemahaman hukum.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Risk control in healthcare facilities (fasyankes) creates a healthy, comfortable, safe, and secure working environment, so healthcare facilities need to implement an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS/SMK3). Community health centers (Puskesmas) have not yet organized SMK3, so the implementation of SMK3 and the challenges faced need to be investigated. This study aims to understand the establishment of policies, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, performance review and improvement, and the obstacles in implementing SMK3. This research uses an exploratory qualitative method aimed at understanding the implementation of SMK3 in Puskesmas in West Lombok Regency. Internal policy establishment and occupational safety planning are available and have been socialized, but there is no commitment from the leadership regarding occupational safety. Ten occupational safety standards in healthcare facilities have been implemented, except for regular health examinations or medical check-ups (MCU) which have not been carried out. The OHS team conducts routine monitoring every month and evaluates occupational safety every semester. There has never been any review or performance improvement activity conducted by external parties. The internal challenge is that many people still do not understand occupational health and safety (OHS) in health service facilities, so the implementation of OHS is not comprehensive, coupled with a lack of funding support. The external challenge identified is the absence of support from the relevant agency as the supervisor of OHS implementation at community health centers. The formulation of policies, planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of OHS management systems has been carried out according to regulations but not in accordance with OHS policies, while the stage of review and performance improvement by external parties has not occurred, making the role of the health department as supervisor and overseer very necessary. Keywords: Implementation, OHS Management System, Community Health Centers, West Lombok.

Abstract

Hypertension is a global health problem with an increasing prevalence that impacts the quality of life of patients. This study aims to analyze the determinants of blood pressure stability and quality of life in hypertensive patients through a comprehensive multivariate approach. A cross-sectional design with a quantitative analytical approach was applied to 251 hypertensive patients undergoing routine treatment at primary health care facilities. Data collection used a validated standardized questionnaire to measure medication adherence, diet, physical activity, psychological stress levels, family social support, blood pressure stability, and quality of life. Data analysis included Chi-Square tests, Spearman's correlation, multiple linear regression, and multinomial logistic regression. The results showed that all independent variables had a significant relationship with blood pressure stability and quality of life. Diet showed the strongest correlation with blood pressure stability, while physical activity was the dominant predictor of blood pressure stability and quality of life. The regression model produced a coefficient of determination of 87.9% for blood pressure stability and 83.3% for quality of life, with classification accuracy reaching 95.2% and 96.4%, respectively. The findings indicate the importance of holistic interventions that integrate lifestyle modification, stress management, and strengthening social support in optimizing hypertension management to improve blood pressure stability and quality of life in patients
