Abstract

Tikus sawah merupakan salah satu hama utama pertanaman padi yang dapat menyebabkan penurunan produksi hingga kegagalan panen. Berbagai teknik pengendalian dapat dilakukan guna untuk mengamankan produksi tanaman padi, salah satunya dengan metode fumigasi atau fogging. FOKUS (Fogging Tikus) merupakan alat yang dirancang untuk mengendalikan hama tikus dengan metode fumigasi atau pengasapan yang dilakukan pada sarang tikus. FOKUS dibuat dari peralatan bekas dan sederhana namun efektif untuk digunakan sebagai alat fumigasi. Alat FOKUS ini menggunakan bahan pengendali (fumigan) dari ekstrak cabai yang dapat menyebabkan rasa perih pada mata dan mengganggu sistem pernapasan tikus. Percobaan dilakukan di lahan sawah yang ada di Kecamatan Ponrang Selatan Kabupaten Luwu pada bulan Mei – Juni 2023. Dalam pengujiannya ada tiga varian jumlah semburan asap yang dilakukan, yaitu satu, tiga, dan lima semburan asap dengan waktu tunggu selama tiga menit dan selang waktu semburan asap selama 10 detik. Masing – masing jumlah semburan asap dilakukan percobaan selama tiga kali. Berdasarkan hasil percobaan yang dilakukan di lapangan memperlihatkan bahwa FOKUS berfungsi dengan sangat baik. Jumlah semburan 1 kali tidak efektif membuat tikus keluar dari sarang. Sementara itu, 3 kali semburan asap mampu membuat tikus keluar dari sarang namun masih aktif dan kondisi sehat. Sedangkan pada jumlah semburan asap 5 kali ditemukan tikus keluar dari lubang aktif dengan kondisi lemas. Tikus yang keluar dan terperangkap pada jaring kemudian dimatikan. Rats are one of the main pests of rice crops which can cause a decrease in production and even crop failure. Various control techniques can be used to secure rice production, one of which is the fogging method. FOKUS (Rat Fogging) is a tool designed to control rat pests using the fumigation method carried out in rat nests. This FOCUS tool uses a control agent (repellent) from chili extract. The experiment was carried out in rice fields in South Ponrang District Luwu Regency in May – June 2023. In the test, there were three variants of the number of smoke bursts carried out, namely one, three and five smoke bursts with a waiting time of three minutes with a smoke burst interval of 10 seconds. Each number of smoke bursts was tested three times. Based on the results of experiments carried out in the field, it shows that FOKUS functions very well. One burst is not effective in getting rats out of the nest. Meanwhile, 3 bursts of smoke were able to make the rats come out of the nest but were still active and in good health. Meanwhile, with 5 smoke bursts, rats were found coming out of the active holes in a weak condition. Rats that come out and are trapped in the net are then killed.

Abstract

Education and literacy are key components in forming an intelligent and skilled generation, with students' reading interest being a crucial indicator of literacy ability. Comprehensive education encompasses the development of spirituality, personality, intelligence, and skills, as stated in Law No. 20 of 2003. The government strives to enhance literacy through the School Literacy Movement (GLS), which aims to cultivate and improve literacy comprehensively and sustainably. This study examines the efforts of the NYALI (Nyaman Literasi) community at SMPN 20 Medan in increasing students' reading interest. NYALI creates a supportive environment for reading through various activities such as Book Tourism, short story classes, public speaking classes, an English Club, library volunteers, and peer tutors. This research uses a qualitative approach with surveys, observations, and interviews to evaluate the impact of literacy activities on students' reading interest. The results show that student participation in NYALI activities has increased their confidence and academic performance. Internal factors like motivation and external factors such as family and school environment play crucial roles in students' reading interest. School literacy programs, supported by the community and family, are essential for creating a generation that loves reading and possesses strong literacy skills.

Abstract

The government obliged to provide financial information to village communities in the form of financial reports which aim to prevent conditions from occurring in the management of village fund allocations, so that socialization needs to be formed in terms of preventing village fund fraud because it was an effort to provide deeper knowledge about Public Sector Accounting which is at school. The objectives of this community service activity include increasing new knowledge and insight regarding village fund fraud prevention strategies for students and adding to the repertoire of knowledge, as well as being a reference for other parties who wish to carry out activities with a similar theme. The method of implementing activities in the community service program that carried out related to the discussion of problems expressed by the method of socialization and discussion. The planning to evaluation process calculated for one semester starting from March to June 2023. This service activity included 19 students of the Accounting Department at SMK Ma'arif NU Larangan Brebes. The material presented was material on Village Fund Fraud Prevention. The community service team explained the prevention of village fund fraud. Based on the results, increased knowledge and understanding of village fund fraud prevention.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of grade 4 students at Miftahul Jannah Langkat Private Elementary School on the Asmaul Husna material using the interactive storytelling method. This method was chosen because it is considered more interesting and can help students understand the meaning and spiritual values ​​of Asmaul Husna in a more enjoyable way. This research was conducted in the form of Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two cycles. Each cycle includes four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation of student activities, field notes, and learning outcome tests. The results showed that the interactive storytelling method succeeded in improving student understanding and learning outcomes. In the first cycle, the percentage of student learning completion reached 65%, and in the second cycle it increased to 85%. In addition, students looked more enthusiastic, active, and involved in the learning process. They found it easier to grasp the meaning of each Asmaul Husna taught because this method made learning feel more alive and interactive. Thus, the interactive storytelling method has proven to be effective not only in improving learning outcomes, but also in creating a more enjoyable and meaningful learning atmosphere for students

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the discussion method in improving learning outcomes of the material on the behavior of people who practice Asma'ul Husna of students at MTs Miftahul Khoirot Cilamaya Kulon, Karawang. The discussion method was chosen because it can encourage students to be more active in critical thinking, communicating, and understanding the values ​​of Asma'ul Husna in more depth through interactions between students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research design. The research sample consisted of grade VIII students who were divided into two groups, namely the experimental group using the discussion method and the control group using the lecture method. The results of the study showed that the application of the discussion method had a positive effect on improving students' understanding of the material being taught. Learning outcome data showed a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group, where the experimental group experienced a better increase in understanding. Thus, the discussion method has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes, especially in understanding and applying the values ​​of Asma'ul Husna in everyday life. These findings indicate that the discussion method can be used as an alternative learning strategy that is more interactive and can increase student involvement in the learning process.

Abstract

The history of the formation of the education curriculum in Indonesia reflects a long journey influenced by various social, political and cultural factors. Various kinds of curricula have been born in Indonesia, including the Colonial Period curriculum, the Independence Period, the 1947 and 1952 Curriculum, the 1968 Curriculum, the Competency Based Curriculum (2004), the 2013 Curriculum, and finally the Independent Curriculum. Overall, the uniqueness of the curriculum in Indonesia reflects efforts to create a relevant and adaptive education system, although it still requires improvements and adjustments to achieve better educational goals in the future. The educational curriculum in Indonesia has unique characteristics that differentiate it from other countries. This system reflects cultural values, religion and a strong national spirit, and continues to develop according to the needs of the times. With a variety of cultures, languages ​​and traditions, this curriculum is designed to reflect the diversity and needs of Indonesian society. However, behind its uniqueness, there are challenges and opportunities that need to be understood more deeply. In this article, we will discuss the unique characteristics of the education curriculum in Indonesia according to experts, both from within the country and abroad.

Abstract

Village funds that are quite large in number must be managed properly by the village government. However, there are indications of low accountability in the management and reporting of village funds by the village government. The purpose of this study was to analyze what factors influence the accountability of village fund financial management in Pantai Labu District, from the following four indicators: technical guidance, presentation of financial reports, perceptions of understanding of main tasks and management commitment. The urgency of the research results is as an evaluation material for the village administration and also to find out the obstacles in implementing village fund management accountability. This study uses SPSS to measure regression, correlation, and variable reliability testing. The hypothesis will be tested with SPSS which aims to examine the relationships between the four variables in this research model. The results of the research implementation show that together they influence the dependent variable, namely the Accountability of Village Fund Financial Management. Partially, 1) Technical Guidance has no effect on the accountability of Village Fund Financial Management, 2) Understanding of Main Tasks has no effect on the accountability of Village Fund Financial Management, 3) Management Commitment has an effect on Accountability of Village Fund Financial Management and 4) Presentation of Financial Statements has an effect on Accountability Village Fund Financial Management.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning by using the YouTube Kids application. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were kindergarten students. The data for this study were obtained using test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that the YouTube Kids application can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 48.71%, the first cycle 67.39% and in the second cycle it increased to 95.96%. Thus, the use of the YouTube Kids application can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning.
