Abstract

of KSKK (content review based on Mackey theory) aims to determine the feasibility of textbooks based on Mackey's theory so that teaching materials can be used in learning. This article uses a qualitative approach with a library research model. As for the data collection is to use documentation and data analysis techniques using content analysis. In analyzing teaching materials, Mackey's theory provides a good overview of aspects that need to be considered in analyzing teaching materials, including 1) selection; 2) gradation; 3) presentation; 4) reps. From these four aspects, it can be concluded that the aspect of the selection of textbooks is still general, but the material's content tends to be more complex. In contrast, from the aspect of gradation, it has fulfilled the aspects of grouping and grading. As for the presentation aspect, it has fulfilled the differential, potential, pictorial, and context procedures. Meanwhile, the repetition aspect has been fulfilled in the form of various evaluations.

Abstract

ملخص البحث: يهدف هذا البحث إلى تطوير الكتاب المصاحب وصلاحية استخدام كتاب المصاحب "متن الآجرومية" على أساس نظرية التعلم الاستقبالي لدافيد أوسوبيل في معهد المخلصين أرينج-أرينج باتو مالانج. هذه الدراسة، استخدام منهجية البحث والتطوير (R&D) استنادًا إلى نموذج ADDIE وهي: تحليل الاحتياجات، التصميم، التطوير، التنفيذ، التقييم. وأما أدوات البحث المستخدمة فهي الملاحظة، الاستبيان، المقابلة، والاختبار. نتائج هذه الدراسة هي: تطوير الكتاب المصاحب "متن الآجرومية" على أساس نظرية التعلم الاستقبالي لدافيد أوسوبيل في معهد المخلصين. يتألف من خمس مراحل، وهي: (1). تحليل الاحتياجات: تقديم شرح منظم، أمثلة، وتدريبات بهدف تعزيز فهم الطلاب. التصميم: يهدف إلى توفير راحة للقارئ. التطوير: إعداد المواد بطريقة منظمة. التنفيذ: يطبق على 15 طالبًا. التقويم: يشمل التحقق من قبل خبراء المادة والتصميم لضمان جودة وفعالية الكتاب المصاحب المطور. (2). نتائج تحقق الصلاحية من قبل خبيرين: تقييم خبير المادة بنسبة 85%. وتقييم خبير التصميم بنسبة 82.5%. استخدام الكتاب المصاحب "متن الآجرومية" المستند إلى التعلم الاستقبالي لدافيد أوسوبيل كان فعالًا. الكلمات الرئيسية: الكتاب المصاحب، متن الآجرومية، التعلم الاستقبالي. Abstracts: The objectives of this study are: process of developing companion book and Validation of the companion book “matan al jurumiyah” based reception learning David Ausubel at Pondok Pesantren al mukhlisin areng-areng Batu Malang. In this study using the research and development (R&D) research method based on the ADDIE model: needs analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The research instruments used are observation, questionnaires, interviews, and tests. The results of this study are: (1) The development of the companion book “matan al jurumiyah” based reception learning David Ausubel consists of 5 stages: Needs analysis, providing structured explanations, examples, exercises, to improve students' understanding. Design, to provide comfort for readers. Development, the material is done by structuring the material in a structured manner. Implementation, used on 15 students. Evaluation, validation by material and design. (2) The results of validation from two experts: 85% material experts with excellent and feasible categories. The results of design validation are 82.5% with excellent and feasible categories. Keywords: Companion Book, Matan Al Jurumiyah, Reception learning Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku pendampin dan mendeskripsikan kelayakan pengembangan buku pendamping “Matan al Jurumiyah” berbasis pendekatan Reception Learning David Ausubel di Pondok Pesantren Al-Mukhlisin Areng-areng Batu Malang. penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian research and development (R&D) berdasarkan model ADDIE: analisis kebutuhan, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, evaluasi. Adapun instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi, angket, wawancara, dan tes. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) Pengembang buku pendamping “matan al jurumiyah” berbasis pembelajaran penerimaan David Ausubel terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu: Analisis kebutuhan, menyediakan penjelasan terstruktur, contoh, latihan, untuk meningkatkan pemahaman santri. Desain, untuk memberikan kenyamanan bagi pembaca. Pengembangan, materi dilakukan dengan menyusun materi secara terstruktur. Implementasi, digunakan pada 15 santri. Evaluasi, validasi oleh ahli materi dan desain guna memastikan kualitas dan efektivitas buku pendamping yang dikembangkan. (2) hasil validasi dari dua ahli: ahli materi 85% dengan kategori baik sekali dan layak. hasil validasi desain 82,5% dengan kategori baik sekali dan layak. Abstract

The dominance of conventional instructional methods in language education often results in rigid, less engaging learning environments. As a response, fun learning strategies have emerged as innovative approaches to enhance student enthusiasm and active participation. This study explores the implementation of fun learning strategies in teaching Maharah Kalam (speaking skills) at Markaz Arabiyah Pare. Employing a descriptive qualitative method within a case study framework, the research was conducted using the researcher as the primary instrument, supported by an interview guide. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model involving data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Findings reveal that the fun learning strategy in Maharah Kalam instruction is implemented through four core activity types involving nine specific methods: (1) Daily activities, incorporating sualan (questioning) and games; (2) Thematic speaking practice, including drama, demonstration, promotion, and debate; (3) Daily evaluations such as Ashfudzihni; and (4) Monthly events like MC practice and taqdimul qishshoh (storytelling presentations). These strategies significantly contribute to Arabic language acquisition by increasing learner motivation, building self-confidence in speaking, and promoting active classroom participation. The study underscores the value of integrating creative, interactive methods into language instruction to support learner-centered education and communicative competence in Arabic.

Abstract

Nahwu Wadhih is one of the most widely used Arabic grammar books among beginner Arabic language learners. Therefore, it is essential to deeply understand and study the book's background, objectives, advantages, and disadvantages. This study aims to describe the author's biography, history, and overview of the book Nahwu Wadhih First Juz by 'Ali Al-Jarim and Musthafa Amin and identify it in terms of the book's objectives, advantages, and disadvantages. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the type of library research with the book Nahwu Wadhih First Juz as the primary data and several books and scientific journals as secondary data. The data collection technique was carried out using the documentation method, which was then analyzed using the 3 steps of the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model: data condensation, data display, and conclusions drawing. The result of this study is that the book of Nahwu Wadhih First Juz is a book for elementary school, which is the work of 2 experts in Egypt, namely Dr. 'Ali Al-Jarim and Dr. Musthafa Amin. This book contains basic rules in Arabic that aim to help beginners learn the rules of Arabic properly and correctly. This book has several advantages but is also inseparable from its shortcomings. Further research could be conducted to study the effectiveness of using this book in the Arabic language learning process in different educational institutions.

Abstract

In a research study that researchers carried out regarding the study of Arabic textbooks for class IV Madrasah Ibtidaiah by "Jauhar Ali" from the perspective of curriculum and content. This study uses a literature method with a qualitative descriptive approach because, in this research, the researcher will explain in depth the content analysis of the Arabic language textbook for class IV Madrasah Ibtidaiah by Jauhar Ali. The results of the study demonstrate that the textbook was very much in line with KMA 183 in 2019; this is evidenced by the suitability of the objectives of Arabic subjects in KMA 183 in 2019 with the contents of the Arabic language textbook for class IV Madrasah Ibtidaiah by Jauhar Ali. The contents of the Arabic language textbook for class IV MI are very in line with socio-cultural aspects, psychological aspects, as well as linguistic and educational aspects; this can be seen from the contents of the textbooks, be it dialog (hiwar), (reading) qiraah texts or others that contain values—social and culture of the local community as well as the religion of Islam. In addition, the Arabic language textbook for grade IV Madrasah Ibtidaiah is very suitable for use by children who are in grade IV or aged ten years because it is very well designed and attractive, and the materials in the Arabic textbook for grade IV Madrasah Ibtidaiah begin from easy to more difficult themes.

Abstract

المدرسة الثانوية الإسلامية الحكومية 3 جومبانج هي واحدة من المدارس التي تدرس علم النحو الصرف. في هذه المدرسة, هناك الاختلافات بين التلاميذ الماهرين على النحو والصرف في الكتابة الإنشاء لأنه ليس كل التلاميذ في هذه المدرسة يسكنون في المعهد, وهنا يمكن أن تكون مشاكل فيما يتعلق بكفاءة علم النحو والصرف. أهداف في هذا البحث يعني لمعرفة كفاءة التلاميذ في المادة نحو والصرف ولمعرفة كفاءة التلاميذ في مهارة الإنشاء ولمعرفة توجد تأثير كبير كفاءة النحو والصرف على القدرة التلاميذ في كتابة الإنشاء. المدخل المستخدم في هذا البحث هو المدخل الكمي وأخدت الباحثة من المجتمع البحث اعني 50 من مجتمع 400 التلاميذ. جمع البيانات في هذا البحث باستخدام الاختبار والملاحظة وال الوثائق و تستخدم التحديد ارتباط لحظة المنتج (Korelasi Product Moment) وتحليل البيانات المستخدمةهو تحليل انحدار خطي بسيط (Regresi Linear sederhana) بمساعدة SPSS. نتائج هذا البحث الجامعي هي ان نتائج كفاءة المادة النحو والصرف من التلاميذ بالمعدل 88,22 والوسيط 91.50, والوضع القيمة هي 100. ونتائج على مهارة الإنشاء التلاميذ بالمعدل 85,60 والوسيط 90.00 ، وقيمة الوضع 100. وجود تأثير كفاءة النحو والصرف على مهارة الإنشاء لتلاميذ نظر من نتيجة قيمة الصدق يعني قيمة (Sig) الذي يحصل من اختبار الفرضية يعني 0,000 أصغر من 0,05. ومن تحليل الإنحدار الخطي البسيط (Regresi Linear Sederhana) يعني قيمة الثابتة 52,314 وقيمة كفاءة النحو والصرف على مهارة الإنشاء هو 0,419. فمن هنا ظاهرا على ان المتغيير (X) كفاءة النحو و الصرف على المتغيير (Y) مهارة الإنشاء هو الإجابيا عاليا. This Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Jombang is one of the madrasas that teaches the science of nahwu and shorof even though these sciences have been taught in Islamic boarding schools. There are differences in students who are good at nahwu and shorof in writing insya' because not all students in this madrasa live in Islamic boarding schools, here it is possible that there are problems in terms of mastering nahwu and sharaf material. This study aims to determine students' mastery of nahwu shorof material, to determine students' mastery in insya' writing skills, and to find out whether there is a significant effect of nahwu and shorof mastery on students' insya' abilities in class X MAN 3 Jombang. This type of research is a quantitative study that uses a sample of 50 students from a population of 400 students in class X MIPA 8 MAN 3 Jombang. Collecting data in this study using tests, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique in determining the validity results uses Product Moment Correlation and determines the effect between the X variable and Y variable using Simple Linear Regression using the SPSS application. The results of the study were that the score on students' mastery of nahwu and shorof material was 88.22, the median was 91.50, and the mode score was 100 based on the data generated through the test. The score on the students' writing ability, God willing, can be found on average 85.60, the median is 90.00, and the mode value is 100 based on the data generated through the test. And there is an influence on the mastery of nahwu and shorof material on students' insya' abilities based on the significance value generated through hypothesis testing, which is 0.000 <0.05 and based on the significance test in the coefficient table, 0.000 <0.05. This means that there is a significant influence on the mastery of nahwu and shorof on the ability to write insya' in class X MAN 3 Jombang. Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Jombang ini adalah salah satu madrasah yang mengajarkan ilmu nahwu dan shorof meskipun ilmu tersebut sudah diajarkan di pondok pesantren. Terdapat perbedaan siswa yang pandai dalam ilmu nahwu dan shorof dalam menulis insya’ karena tidak semua siswa di Madrasah ini tinggal di pondok pesantren, disini memungkinkan ada problem dalam hal penguasaan materi nahwu dan sharaf. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penguasaan siswa dalam materi nahwu shorof, untuk mengetahui penguasaan siswa dalam kemampuan menulis insya’, serta untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh yang signifikan penguasaan nahwu dan shorof terhadap kemampuan insya’ siswa kelas X MAN 3 Jombang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan sampel siswa kelas X MIPA 8 MAN 3 Jombang sejumlah 50 siswa dari populasi 400 siswa. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam menentukan hasil validitas menggunakan Korelasi Product Moment dan menentukan pengaruh antara variabel X dan variabel Y menggunakan Regresi Linear Sederhana dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Adapun hasil penelitian adalah nilai pada penguasaan materi nahwu dan shorof siswa dapat diketahui rata-rata 88,22, mediannya 91.50, dan nilai modusnya 100 berdasarkan data yang dihasilkan melalui tes. nilai pada kemampuan menulis insya’ siswa dapat diketahui rata-rata 85,60, mediannya 90.00, dan nilai modusnya 100 berdasarkan data yang dihasilkan melalui tes. Serta ada pengaruh pada penguasaan materi nahwu dan shorof terhadap kemampuan insya’ siswa berdasarkan nilai sinifikansi yang dihasilkan melalui uji hipotesis yaitu 0,000<0,05 dan berdasarkan uji signifikansi pada tabel koefisien yaitu 0,000<0,05. Hal ini berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penguasaan nahwu dan shorof terhadap kemampuan menulis insya’ siswa kelas X MAN 3 Jombang.

Abstract

Language consists of words organized based on grammar (Al-Qawaid alLughowiyyah) to construct sentences and of sound system representing specific meaning. Listening comprehension (Al-Maharah al Istima') is a skill in analyzing Arabic speech sounds to understand the text messages. Therefore, in practice it does not only need an understanding of textual meaning that refers to dictionary meaning (lexical meaning) or grammatical meaning, but also should take into account the linguistic aspects, that is, grammar (Nahwu and Sharf) and semantic unit (Ashwat). Considering the phenomena, the writer wants to discuss the problems based on Chomsky's theory oflnnovative-Transformative Grammar. The data supported this analysis are from Surah Al-Waqi' ah 77-79. The result of analysis is expected to prove the truth of the existing assumption. Bahasa terdiri dari kata-kata yang disusun berdasarkan tatabahasa (Al-Qawaid alLughowiyyah) untuk membangun kalimat dan sistem suara yang mewakili makna tertentu. Pemahaman pendengaran (Al-Maharah al Istima ') adalah keterampilan dalam menganalisis suara pidato bahasa Arab untuk memahami pesan teks. Oleh karena itu, dalam praktiknya, tidak hanya memerlukan pemahaman tentang makna tekstual yang mengacu pada makna kamus (makna leksikal) atau makna gramatikal, namun juga harus memperhatikan aspek linguistik, yaitu tata bahasa (Nahwu dan Sharf) dan unit semantik (Ashwat). Dengan mempertimbangkan fenomena tersebut, penulis ingin membahas permasalahan berdasarkan teori Chofsky-Transformative Grammar. Data yang didukung analisis ini berasal dari Surah Al-Waqi 'ah 77-79. Hasil analisis diharapkan bisa membuktikan kebenaran asumsi yang ada.

Abstract

This study investigates Arabic language learning in Indonesian pesantrens as a social phenomenon reflecting diverse traditions, institutional orientations, and cultural contexts. The research agenda aims to map learning typologies across Java, Sumatra, and Lombok, while analyzing how students lived experiences inform adaptive curriculum development. Methodologically, this study employs a qualitative phenomenological configuration with three alumni as primary informants. Data were analyzed through a rigorous inductive process including bracketing, horizontalization, and essence synthesis to ensure empirical validity. The findings reveal three distinct regional typologies: Dalwa (Java) prioritizes muhadatsah within a rigorous bi’ah lughawiyah; Al-Ittifaqiah (Sumatra) utilizes a formal-prescriptive system of vocabulary targets and sanctions; while institutions in Lombok demonstrate an integrative model combining communicative practices with traditional foundations. Interpretive conclusions, framed through Ralph W. Tyler’s and Lawrence Stenhouse’s theories, emphasize that student experiences transform Arabic from a linguistic tool into a core dimension of religious identity and spiritual motivation. This study synthesizes these outcomes into a curriculum framework that balances formal structure with process flexibility, integrates tradition with innovation, and prioritizes an affective-spiritual orientation to produce an adaptive, inclusive, and globally competitive Arabic curriculum that remains deeply rooted in the pesantren tradition.

Abstract

The study of Ilmu Nahwu plays a central role in mastering the Arabic language; however, it continues to face various challenges, particularly in terms of student engagement and deep conceptual understanding. This study aims to examine the synergy between perception, cognition, and action in learning Nahwu through a psychopedagogical approach and to explore its impact on students’ self-awareness and academic resilience. Employing a qualitative method with an exploratory case study design, data were collected from five students of the Arabic Language Education Program at Universitas Ma’arif Lampung through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The research instruments were developed based on a psychopedagogical framework, and the data were analyzed using Braun and Clarke’s thematic analysis. The findings indicate that high enthusiasm in learning Nahwu significantly shapes students’ comprehension of grammatical rules, positive attitudes toward the subject, and active engagement in the learning process. This enthusiasm is manifested in three interrelated dimensions: perception, cognition, and action. The interaction among these dimensions fosters not only a critical understanding of Nahwu but also the development of independent learning habits. Theoretically, this study positions enthusiasm as a key psychopedagogical construct that bridges perception, cognition, and action in Nahwu learning. Practically, the findings highlight the importance of implementing interactive teaching strategies that cultivate enthusiasm to strengthen students’ self-awareness and academic resilience, thereby promoting a sustainable and reflective learning culture in Arabic grammar education.
