Abstract

The Indonesian National Education System Law No. 20 of 2003 emphasizes the importance of education in shaping individuals with faith and piety. Education in State Madrasah Aliyah (MAN) aims to integrate general knowledge with Islamic values, including in Biology learning. However, observations in MAN across Padang Pariaman Regency indicate that the integration of Islamic values in Biology learning has not been fully implemented. The main obstacles include limited instructional time, inadequate teacher understanding, and a lack of reference materials. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing students' perceptions of the integration of Islamic values in Biology learning in Grade XI of MAN in Padang Pariaman Regency. The study employs a descriptive qualitative method, with a research population consisting of all Grade XI Science students from MAN 1, MAN 2, MAN 3, and MAN Insan Cendekia, totaling 319 students. A sample of 162 students was selected using Simple Random Sampling with the Slovin formula. Primary data were collected through teacher interviews and student questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using percentage calculations, averages, standard deviations, and categorization using SPSS 22. The findings reveal that, based on four key indicators—attention, mindset, value system, and personality type—students' perceptions of the integration of Islamic values in Biology learning fall within the good to very good category, with an average score in the good category.

Abstract

Pruning, combined with fertilization, is a feasible agricultural technique to extend the harvest period of bird's eye chilli plants, thereby enhancing farmers' income. This study aimed to examine the interaction between controlled-release fertilizer (CRF) and NPK doses and to determine the optimal dosage of both fertilizers, considering the residual effects of CRF on the growth and yield of bird's eye chilli plants following pruning on Ultisol soil. The experiment was conducted from September 2024 to January 2025 at the Experimental Farm of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Andalas. A Split-Plot Randomized Complete Block Design was employed, with the main plot representing the residual effects of CRF, while the subplots corresponded to different CRF and NPK dosages. The main plot treatments included CRF residual effects at 750 kg/ha, 1000 kg/ha, and 1500 kg/ha, whereas the subplots consisted of CRF application at 750 kg/ha, 1500 kg/ha, and NPK at 1200 kg/ha. Data were subjected to variance analysis (ANOVA) and further assessed using Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at a 5% significance level. The results indicated no statistically significant interaction between CRF and NPK dosages and the residual effects of CRF. Applying CRF at 750 kg/ha was the most effective across all residual CRF levels among all tested treatments. The residual CRF dose of 1500 kg/ha positively impacted plant development and fruit production. The findings also revealed that the residual CRF effect contributed to an increased nitrogen supply in the soil, reducing the necessity for additional nitrogen fertilization for bird's eye chilli after pruning cultivation.

Abstract

Anemia is a condition when the hemoglobin level in the blood is below normal limits, so that the blood's ability to transport oxygen throughout the body decreases. This lack of oxygen can affect mental function, especially in terms of concentration and information processing while studying. This study aims to examine the relationship between anemia and learning outcomes in female students. The method used is through the Systematic Literature Review approach. The data collection process was carried out using Google Scholar to search and collect various scientific articles that discuss the topics of anemia, cognitive function, and learning outcomes. Based on the results of the review, it was found that anemia had a negative impact on the ability to think, memory, and the level of participation of female students in learning activities. This also has an impact on the low learning outcomes of female students. Therefore, special attention is needed from schools and health workers to carry out early detection and intervention for female students who experience anemia, in order to improve the quality of learning and encourage the achievement of better learning outcomes.

Abstract

The development of an ESQ booklet on the structure and function of animal tissues to empower students' emotional-spiritual attitudes in schools has not been maximized. This research aims to develop an ESQ booklet about the structure and function of animal tissue and to determine the validity of the booklet. This research type is research and development (R&D). This learning media was developed using three stages of the 4D model namely define, design, and develop. The research instruments used are observation sheets, interview transcripts, and validity test sheets. The research data collected through questionnaires of validity test sheets to content expert, media expert, ESQ expert (Islamic religion teacher), and biology teacher. The assessment of each validator was analyzed and processed using the validity formula and adjusted to the validity category. Based on the analysis of the validity test questionnaire, it was found that the validity percentage of the content eligibility was 92.05%, the linguistic aspect was 92.16%, the presentation aspect was 93.33%, and the graphics aspect was 95.83%, all of the criteria is very valid. It was concluded that the ESQ booklet about the structure and function of animal tissue as a biology learning supplement was categorized as very valid with an average score is 93.34%. Thus, the conclusion of the research is that the ESQ booklet about the structure and function of animal tissue as a biology learning supplement is declared very valid from the aspects of content, language, and media.

Abstract

Salah satu bagian terpenting dalam menjalankan peternakan ayam petelur adalah menghitung biaya produksi. Segala biaya yang diperlukan selama proses produksi untuk menghasilkan telur yang siap untuk dijual termasuk dalam harga pokok produksi. Biaya pakan, pemeliharaan kandang, tenaga kerja, kesehatan hewan, dan penyusutan alat produksi merupakan faktor utama yang mempengaruhi biaya produksi pada peternakan ayam petelur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui biaya produksi yang berhubungan dengan usaha peternakan ayam petelur PT Cahaya Tiga Putri. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dan kuantitatif, dan dilakukan di PT Cahaya Tiga Putri. Gaji karyawan, biaya produksi telur, dan biaya pendukung seperti air dan energi merupakan beberapa contoh pengeluaran yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Dengan menggunakan metode Whole Costing, teknik analisis data digunakan untuk menentukan harga pokok produksi. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, biaya produksi per butir telur PT Cahaya Tiga Putri mencapai Rp952. Oleh karena itu, jika perusahaan ini tidak mematuhi harga pasar per butir telur yakni Rp1.834 maka bisa meraup untung besar. Petani dapat menggunakan temuan analisis ini sebagai panduan untuk menilai biaya produksi dan membuat keputusan yang lebih tepat mengenai kapan harus menjual untuk memaksimalkan pendapatan.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a learning module on the reproductive system integrated with Islamic values based on the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model for Grade XI students (Phase F) at SMA Negeri 6 Solok Selatan. The study was motivated by findings that most students experienced difficulties in understanding the reproductive system material due to its abstract nature and the lack of interesting learning materials integrated with Islamic values. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4-D model modified into 3-D stages, namely define, design, and develop. Data were collected through teacher interviews, student observations, and validation and practicality tests conducted by lecturers, teachers, and students. The results showed that the developed learning module was valid and practical based on expert evaluation and user responses. The module effectively facilitated students to think critically, actively solve problems, and internalize moral and spiritual values in accordance with Islamic teachings through the integration of Qur’anic verses and hadiths relevant to the reproductive system topic. Therefore, this learning module is expected to serve as an effective alternative learning resource to enhance the quality of biology education in senior high schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap permasalahan: 1) bagaimana pelaksanakan pembelajaran berbasis VAK dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada bidang studi SKI di Kelas VIII MTs. Nurul Khoiriyah; 2) Apa kendala dan 3) apa upaya yang dilakukan guru SKI dalam maksimalisasi pembelajaran berbasis VAK guna meningkatkan motivasi siswa. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif geskriptif jenis studi kasus, hasil penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa pembelajaran berbasis Visualization Auditori Kinestetik (VAK) dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Kesimpulan: 1) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis visualization auditori kinestetik dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada bidang studi sejarah kebudayaan Islam, maka guru bidag studi SKI melakukan: a) Persiapan pembelajaran berbasis VAK secara matang dengan cara, mengidentifikasi tujuan materi, memilih materi yang tepat dan menyiapkan sumber belajar; b) Melaksanakan langkah-langkah pembelajaran berbasis VAK yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dengan cara, menyajikan materi ajar dengan media visual melalui video, dan media audio melalui rekaman suara serta menyajikan materi ajar kinestetik dalam bentuk aktifitas fisik serta melakukan evaluasi proses dan hasil pembelajaran, 2) Faktor penghambat yang dihadapi guru bidang studi sejarah kebudayaan Islam pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis VAK dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa yaitu:a) Minimnya ketersediaan media visual dan audio yang siap pakai, b) minimnya pengalaman aktifitas kinestetik siswa; c) kesulitan membangun kolaborasi dengan guru bidang sudi lain; 3) Upaya maksimalisasi yang dilakukan oleh guru bidang studi sejarah kebudayaan Islam pada pelakanaan pembelajaran berbasis VAK dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa yaitu: a) Bekerjasama dengan operator madrasah dalam mendesain media visual dan audio; b) Bekerja sama dengan sesama guru dalam melatih aktifitas kinestetik siswa, c) Meningkatkan partisipasi kolaborasi guru bidang studi serumpun dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran berbasis vizualitation auditori kinestetik

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh management control system terhadap healthcare supply chain performance dengan hospital supply chain integration sebagai variabel mediasi, dalam konteks operasional rumah sakit swasta. Variabel yang diusulkan dalam pemodelan ini meliputi management control system, yaitu broad scope, timeliness, integration, dan aggregation. Seluruh dimensi healthcare supply chain performance yang diuji mencakup cost effectiveness, utilization of hospital assets, supply chain flexibility, serta supply chain quality and speed of delivery. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode cross-sectional dengan instrumen kuesioner untuk mengumpulkan data dari tenaga medis dan staf nonmedis yang terlibat dalam sistem rantai pasok di rumah sakit. Analisis data multivariat dilakukan menggunakan metode statistik PLS-SEM. Dengan teknik total sampling, terkumpul 50 responden dari satu rumah sakit swasta di Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Data dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 4. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa tiga dari empat management control system, yaitu broad scope, integration, dan aggregation, memiliki efek positif terhadap hospital supply chain integration. Efek terbesar diperoleh pada integration (standardized coefficient = 0,322; f² = 0,150). Sementara itu, timeliness tidak menunjukkan efek signifikan. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi manajerial untuk memperkuat integrasi sistem informasi dan penyajian data agregat lintas fungsi guna meningkatkan kinerja rantai pasok rumah sakit. Selain itu, hospital supply chain integration terbukti memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap seluruh dimensi healthcare supply chain performance. Model penelitian ini menunjukkan kemampuan eksploratori dan prediktif yang memadai dalam menjelaskan hubungan antarvariabel dalam konteks manajemen rantai pasok rumah sakit.

Abstract

Weed control is one of the determining factors for achieving high oil palm yields, at the same time fertilization is necessary to provide nutrients for plants. This study aims to: (1) determine the interaction between the herbicide IPA Glyphosate with fertilizer Urea+SP-36+KCl on weed control and growth of immature oil palm. (2) to obtain an effective dose of herbicide to control weeds, and to obtain the best dose of Urea+SP-36+KCl fertilizer for the growth of oil palm. The study was conducted using a factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 2 factors and 8 treatment combinations. The first factor is herbicide doses of IPA Glyphosate (1,920 g/ ha, 2,400 g/ha, mechanical weeding, and control) and the second-factor is fertilizer doses of Urea+SP-36+KCl (600 g Urea +750 g SP-36 +700 g KCl/plant, and 700 g Urea + 850 g SP- 36 + 800 g KCl/plant). The data were analyzed for variance and if significantly different then continued with Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test (DMNRT) at the 5% level. The results showed that there was no interaction between the dose of the herbicide IPA Glyphosate with fertilizer Urea+SP-36+KCl on weed control and growth of immature oil palm. The herbicide dose of I PA Glyphosate which was effective in suppressing the dry weight of weeds was 1,920 g/ha because it was effective in suppressing the dry weight of weeds up to 12 weeks after application (WAA) and obtained the smallest average of weed dry weight. Urea+SP-36+KCl fertilizer application did not affect the vegetative growth parameters of immature oil palm.

Abstract

Mahasiswa destinasi pariwisata menyelenggarakan pelatihan sebagai wujud implementasi pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Program pelatihan yang menjadi pilihan mahasiswa adalah pelatihan pembuatan Rempeyek Ebi di pulau Laelae. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) menguraikan proses perencanaan dan implementasi pelatihan pembuatan Rempeyek Ebi oleh mahasiswa pariwisata; 2) menganalisis evaluasi pelatihan; dan 3) mengusulkan upaya atau langkah dalam mengoptimalkan pencapaian tujuan dan manfaat pelatihan bagi masyarakat lokal di pulau Laelae. Penulis melakukan wawancara mendalam kepada mahasiswa mengenai proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi pelatihan. Penulis melakukan observasi selama perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pelatihan yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei tahun 2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tahap perencanaan terdiri atas konsolidasi stakeholder, penyiapan administrasi dan penyiapan hal-hal teknis pelatihan. Tiga tahap implementasi pelatihan adalah cara atau proses pembuatan adonan, proses pembuatan Rempeyek Ebi dan pengemasan, dan pemasaran produk. Evaluasi pelatihan menunjukkan minat yang baik dari peserta dan pelatihan berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan kompetensi mahasiswa sebagai pelaksana pelatihan. Dukungan institusi pendidikan pada program pengabdian kepada masyarakat oleh mahasiswa dapat mendukung pelaksanaan pelatihan yang lebih optimal. Kolaborasi dengan stakeholder eksternal dapat menjadi strategi dalam mengoptimalkan program pelatihan bagi masyarakat di wilayah kepulauan. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran (insights) tentang pelaksanaan pelatihan dari perspektif mahasiswa pariwisata sebagai penyelenggara kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat.
