Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model in improving elementary school students’ learning outcomes and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation during the learning process. This study employed a qualitative method with a literature review approach. The data were obtained from various relevant sources such as books, scientific journals, research articles, and academic documents related to the Teams Games Tournament learning model and elementary school students’ learning outcomes. Data collection techniques were conducted through documentation studies and content analysis, while data analysis was carried out by collecting, reviewing, comparing, and classifying information based on the research themes. The results showed that the use of the Teams Games Tournament model was able to create an active, interactive, and enjoyable learning atmosphere, thereby improving students’ motivation and learning outcomes in elementary schools. This model also improved students’ cooperation, responsibility, communication, and participation during the learning process. In addition, the implementation of the TGT model helped students understand the material more easily because the learning process was packaged through group discussions, educational games, and academic tournaments. Supporting factors in implementing the TGT model included teacher creativity, the use of attractive learning media, and active student participation. Meanwhile, the obstacles found included differences in students’ abilities, limited learning time, and teachers’ readiness in implementing innovative learning models. Therefore, the Teams Games Tournament model can be used as an effective alternative learning model to improve elementary school students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Quantum Learning model on storytelling speaking skills among fourth-grade students at SDIT Nurul Amien Leuwigoong. The research employed a pre-experimental method using a one-group pretest-posttest design. A total of 27 students were selected using saturated sampling. Data were collected through oral tests and documentation, then analyzed using the t-test. The results showed a significant improvement in the students’ speaking skills, with the average score increasing from 20.815 to 37.444 after implementing the Quantum Learningmodel. The t-test results indicated that tcount > ttable, suggesting a significant effect of the Quantum Learning model on students’ storytelling speaking skills. This model effectively enhances student confidence and engagement in language learning activities. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Quantum Learning terhadap keterampilan berbicara dongeng siswa kelas IV SDIT Nurul Amien Leuwigoong. Metode yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperimental design dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 27 siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik saturated sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes lisan dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan pada skor rata-rata keterampilan berbicara setelah diterapkannya model Quantum Learning, yaitu dari 20,815 menjadi 37,444. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan thitung > ttabel, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Quantum Learning berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berbicara dongeng siswa. Model ini efektif dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan mendorong siswa lebih percaya diri dalam menyampaikan cerita.

Abstract

The increasing phenomenon of deviant behavior among elementary school students has become a problem in the formation of student character. This research is quantitative research. The sample from this research was class V at SDN 2 Haruman Leles, totaling 30 students. Data collection techniques in this research used questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this research include normality tests, homogeneity tests, linearity tests using the SPSS version 22 for Windows program. Based on the results of research and data analysis regarding the influence of parenting patterns on the character formation of class V children at SDN 2 Haruman Leles, the calculated F value was 4.569 > F table 4.20, meaning that rejecting Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, with an influence of 33%. And it has a regression value of 0.007 so it has the influence of parental parenting on character. It can be concluded that there is an influence of parental parenting on the character formation of students at SDN 2 Haruman  Leles.Meningkatkanya fenomena perilaku menyimpang dikalangan siswa sekolah dasar menjadi sebuah permasalahan dalam pembentukan karakter siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh orang tua terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa. Kelas V sekolah dasar.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel dari penelitian ini kelas V di SDN 2 Haruman Leles yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan angket atau kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji linearitas menggunakan program SPSS versi 22 for windows. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data tentang pengaruh pola asuh orang tua terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa kelas V SDN 2 Haruman Leles, diperoleh nilai nilai F hitung 4,569 > F tabel 4,20 artinya menolak Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, dengan memiliki pengaruh sebesar 33%. Serta memiliki nilai regresi sebesar 0,007 sehingga memiliki pengaruh pola asuh orang tua terhadap karakter. Sehingga didapat kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari pola asuh orang tua terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa SDN 2 Haruman Leles.

Abstract

Concept understanding is a person's ability to understand the meaning or meaning of information, concepts, or principles in order to interpret, connect and apply and apply this knowledge. But in fact, many students find it difficult to understand the concept. This encouraged researchers to apply leaflet learning media assisted by Canva application with the aim of knowing its effect on students' concept understanding. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method where the subjects were fourth grade elementary school students. The instrument used was a concept understanding test, with data calculation techniques using Microsoft Excel. The results of this study indicate that students' concept understanding in the experimental class is better than the control class. Based on the results of the independent sample t-test test with a significance level of ? = 0.05, the tcount value = 19.52, and the ttable value = 2.025. So, it can be concluded that there is an effect of leaflet learning media assisted by Canva application on understanding the concept of social studies class IV at SDN 3 Sindangratu.Pemahaman konsep merupakan kemampuan seseorang dalam memahami arti atau makna dari suatu informasi, konsep, atau prinsip agar dapat menginterpretasikan, menghubungkan dan menerapkan serta mengaplikasikan pengetahuan tersebut. Namun pada nyatanya, banyak siswa yang sulit dalam memahami konsep tersebut. Hal ini mendorong peneliti untuk merapkan media pembelajaran leaflet berbantuan aplikasi canva dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen dimana subjeknya adalah siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes pemahaman konsep, dengan teknik penghitungan data bantuan Microsoft Excel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep siswa di kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil uji independent sampel t-test dengan taraf signifikansi ? = 0,05 diperoleh nilai thitung = 19,52, dan nilai ttabel = 2,025. Maka, dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh media pembelajaran leaflet berbantu aplikasi canva terhadap pemahaman konsep IPS kelas IV di SDN 3 Sindangratu.
