Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Tingkat kesulitan siswa kelas XII IPA dalam mengerjakan soal cerita pada materi program linier berdasarkan analisis Newman. (2) Penyebab siswa kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita pada materi program linier. (3) Upaya mengatasi kesulitan mengerjakan soal cerita pada materi program linier. Analisis terhadap kesalahan yang dilakukan dalam mengerjakan soal cerita pada materi program linier yaitu: (1) Kesalahan dalam membaca masalah,(2) Kesalahan dalam memahami masalah,. (3) Kesalahan dalam transformasi masalah, (4) Kesalahan dalam keterampilan proses. (5) Kesalahan dalam penulisan jawaban akhir Adapun upaya dalam mengatasi siswa YANG mengalami kesulitan dalam mengerjakan soal cerita pada materi program linier adalah dengan: (1) Mengikuti bimbingan belajar, (2) Melakukan edukasi yang baik antara guru dengan para siswa di kelas. (3) Melakukan diskusi kelompok antar teman sejawat, (4) Saling membahas penyebab siswa mendapatkan remedial serta mencari solusinya, serta; (5) Diadakannya bimbingan pribadi antar guru dengan murid. Kata Kunci: Analisis Kesulitan; Soal Cerita; Program Linear; Metode Newman.   ABSTRACK       This study aims to determine: (1) The level of difficulty of class XII science students in working on story problems on linear programming material based on Newman's analysis. (2) The cause of students' difficulties in solving story problems on linear programming material. (3) Efforts to overcome the difficulties of working on story problems on linear programming material. Analysis of the errors made in working on story problems on linear programming material, namely: (1) Errors in reading the problem, (2) Errors in understanding the problem,. (3) Errors in problem transformation, (4) Errors in process skills. (5) Errors in writing the final answer. The efforts to overcome students who have difficulty in working on story questions on linear program material are: (1) Following tutoring, (2) Conducting good education between teachers and students in class. (3) Conduct group discussions among peers, (4) discuss the causes of students getting remedial and find solutions, and; (5) The holding of personal guidance between teachers and students.  Keywords: Difficulty Analysis; Story Problems; Linear Programming; Newman's method.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan Student Facilitator and Explaining dan Reciprocal Teaching terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 16 Lubuk Pakam. Sampel pada penelitian ini 2 kelas yaitu kelas VIII-A dan VIII-B. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yaitu tes berbentuk uraian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji F, didapat nilai   dan  . Diketahui bahwa nilai  , ini membuktikan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis yang diajarkan dengan Student Facilitator and Explaning lebih baik daripada siswa yang diajarkan dengan Reciprocal Teaching. Kata Kunci : Student Facilitator and Explaining; Reciprocal Teaching; Berpikir Kritis.   Abstrak     This study aims to determine the comparison between Student Facilitator and Explaining and Reciprocal Teaching on critical thinking skills. This research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental type of research. The population is all students of class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 16 Lubuk Pakam. The sample in this study was 2 classes, namely class VIII-A and VIII-B. The instrument used to determine the critical ability of students in conducting experiments. Based on the results of the F test analysis, obtained F value = 5.334 and F table = 4.007. It is known that F value > F table, this proves that critical thinking skills taught by Student Facilitator and Explaning are better than students taught by Reciprocal Teaching.  Keyword: Student Facilitator and Explaining, Reciprocal Teaching, Critical Thinking.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematik dengan metode diskusi berdasarkan tingkat IQ (Intelligence Quotient) dari tinggi hingga rendah di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Asahan. Indikator yang dipilih yaitu kemampuan matematis siswa yakni : (1) Memahami soal dan masalah yang akan diselesaikan, (2) Membuat strategi hubungan yang logis antara soal dan rumus yang akan digunakan (3) Mengaitkan hal yang diketahui sebelumnya dengan startegi yang akan digunakan dan (4) Mengidentifikasi jawaban dari permasalahan soal dan memeriksanya kembali. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan meneliti langsung kelapangan. Subyek penelitian ini siswa-siswi Kelas XI IPA 3 Man Asahan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan analisis data yang sudah dilakukan, diperoleh hasil penelitian yaitu siswa dengan IQ tinggi memiliki kemampuan matematis yang tinggi. Siswa dengan IQ sedang memiliki kemampuan matematis yang sedang hal ini dilihat dari siswa belum mampu memecahkan masalah secara penuh. Kemudian siswa dengan IQ rendah memiliki kemampuan matematis yang rendah sebab siswa mampu memilih prosedur atau operasi tertentu, dalam mengerjakan soal masih ada kekeliruan sehingga tidak sesuai dengan indikator pemahaman konsep.   ABSTRACK                            This study aims to determine the students' mathematical understanding ability in solving mathematical problems with the discussion method based on the level of IQ (Intelligence Quotient) from high to low at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Asahan. The indicators chosen are the students' mathematical abilities, namely: (1) Understanding the questions and problems to be solved, (2) Making a logical relationship strategy between the questions and formulas that will be used (3) Relating previously known things with the strategies to be used and ( 4) Identify the answers to the problems and check them again. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research by directly examining the field. The subjects of this study were students of Class XI IPA 3 Man Asahan. Data collection techniques with tests, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the data analysis that has been done, the results obtained are students with high IQs have high mathematical abilities. Students with moderate IQ have mathematical abilities, which can be seen from students who have not been able to solve problems in full. Then students with low IQs have low mathematical abilities because students are able to choose certain procedures or operations, in working on questions there are still errors so that they are not in accordance with the indicators of understanding the concept.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of product attributes and lifestyle on the decision to switch from OPPO smartphone users to iPhone. This study is a survey research using a questionnaire as its instrument. The population in this research is consumers using OPPO smartphones who have switched to iPhone in Kolaka Regency, using purposive sampling method, which is a sampling technique with specific criteria. Thus, the sample in this study consists of 100 consumers using OPPO smartphones who have switched to iPhone in Kolaka Regency. The research instrument testing uses validity and reliability tests with SPSS 25.0. The data analysis techniques used are measurement model test (outer model) and structural model test (inner model) with Smart PLS 3.0. The results of this study show that there is a positive and significant influence between the variables of Product Attributes on Brand Transfer. This is shown by the Original Sample Estimate value of 0.233 which has a positive effect and the T-Statistic value of 3,171 > 1.64 with a P-Value of 0.001 and significant to Brand Transfer. The results of this study show that there is a positive and significant influence between Lifestyle variables on Brand Transfer. This is shown by the Original Sample Estimate value of 0.688 which has a positive effect and the T-Statistic value of 10,509 > 1.64 with a P-Value of 0.000 and significant to Innovation Capability

Abstract

Kemampuan untuk mengelola informasi tidak hanya penting untuk keberhasilan akademis, tetapi juga penting dalam mempersiapkan mereka untuk terjun di dunia kerja yang semakin bergantung pada teknologi informasi. Meskipun penguasaan teknologi pada siswa-siswa SMA IT Harapan Mulia sudah cukup tinggi, namun nyatanya tantangan seperti kurangnya keterampilan kritis dalam menilai keandalan informasi online, kegagalan dalam mengimplementasikan praktik keamanan informasi dengan baik, terbatasnya eksposur terhadap alat dan teknik manajemen informasi yang canggih di lingkungan pendidikan formal, dan ketergantungan berlebihan pada teknologi digital menjadi kendala dalam memanajemen dan mengelola informasi digital. SMA tersebut belum mempunyai kurikulum yang membahas mengenai pendidikan manajemen teknologi dan informasi, sehingga pembekalan bagi siswa mengenai topik tersebut menjadi hal yang sangat urgen. Untuk itu, tim pengabdian Universitas Sriwijaya melakukan kegiatan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman manajemen dan teknologi informasi bagi generasi Z. Kegiatan berjalan dengan baik. Metode yang dilakukan adalah pemberian materi kepada siswa-siswa dengan ceramah, diskusi partisipatif dan pendampingan oleh ahli. Hasilnya adalah pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa-siwa menjadi meningkat diseluruh aspek dilihat dari pre-test dan post-test yang dibandingkan. Siswa-siswa sangat antusias dan menjadi lebih sadar akan pentingnya manajemen teknologi informasi.

Abstract

tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu : 1. Untuk mengetahui gambaran body image pada wanita dewasa awal pengguna instagram 2. Untuk mengetahui gambaran upward comparison pada wanita dewasa awal pengguna instagram 3. Untuk mengetahui gambaran self esteem pada wanita dewasa awal pengguna instagram 4. Untuk mengetahui kontribusi upward comparison dan self esteem terhadap body image pada wanita dewasa awal pengguna instagram Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini yaitu 185 orang wanita dewasa awal pengguna Instagram. Penelitian ini menggunakan upward comparison dan self esteem sebagai variabel bebas dan body image sebagai variabel terikat. Uji hipotesis menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05). Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa upward comparsion dan self esteem berkontribusi terhadap body image pada wanita dewasa awal pengguna Instagram. Pada penelitian ini, self esteem memiliki sumbangan kontribusi lebih besar terhadap body image dari pada upward comparison. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa wanita dewasa awal pengguna Instagram cenderung memiliki citra tubuh yang cukup baik. Selain itu, mereka cenderung melakukan upward comparison. serta mereka memiliki self esteem yang baik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa upward comparison dan self esteem memberikan kontribusi terhadap body image pada wanita dewasa awal pengguna Instagram.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the economic value, which is a direct and indirect benefit (tangible and intangible) of Parak in the research area. This research used a case study method, and the sampling was carried out in a purposive manner consisting of 50 sample farmers. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Preliminary data were obtained by direct interviews with respondents based on the questionnaire provided, while secondary data were taken from agencies related to this research. The processing of data obtained in the field shows that Parak plays an important role in supporting the economy of farmers in Nagari Paninggahan either directly or indirectly. The direct use value obtained from the plant is IDR. 46,753,650 (66,316 per cent), from firewood of IDR. 23,070,000 (32,722 percent) and from livestock IDR. 678,550 (0.963 per cent) so that the total direct use income is IDR. 70,502,200 per year of all commodities cultivated by the sample farmers. Meanwhile, for indirect use, such as household/domestic water use, IDR. 13,312,320/year and agricultural irrigation water IDR. 54,052,111/year. The total indirect usage is IDR. 67,364,431,-. Per year. Agroforestry patterns can cover the soil layer well and have an effective influence on soil erosion control to increase the supply of water in the soil. Respondents have also carried out other conservation activities by constructing bench terraces, terracing systems, and other buildings to suppress sedimentation and erosion.

Abstract

Background: Diabetic foot is a significant complication for Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus’s (T2DM) patients. Previous studies have linked diabetic foot to micronutrients such as ferritin, vitamin D, and calcium, but there have been no follow-up studies in Medan. Objective: This study aimed to analyze the relationship between levels of ferritin, vitamin D, and calcium with the severity of diabetic foot, as measured by the Wagner-Meggit criteria, in T2DM patients at Adam Malik Hospital. Method: A cross-sectional study with 48 T2DM patients at Adam Malik Hospital from December 2022 to December 2023. Micronutrient levels were measured, and the severity of diabetic foot was assessed using the Wagner-Meggitt classification. Result: The majority of participants (64.6%) were female. High ferritin levels were observed in 91.6% of patients, while 93.75% had low levels of calcium and vitamin D. Bivariate analysis revealed no significant correlations between ferritin, corrected calcium, or vitamin D levels and Wagner grades 2-5 (p=0.515, p=0.646, p=0.377, respectively). Non-parametric correlation analysis showed significant relationships between corrected calcium (p=0.022) and vitamin D (p=0.027) with Wagner grades. Discussion: Among the 48 subjects, bivariate testing found that ferritin levels above 150 ng/ml were not linked to diabetic foot severity. Low calcium levels (below 8.5 ng/dl) were significantly associated with increased severity of diabetic foot (p < 0.03). 93.75% of participants had low vitamin D levels, which also correlated significantly with foot severity (p=0.027). Conclusion: The study concluded that calcium and vitamin D levels correlate with the severity of diabetic foot, whereas ferritin levels do not.

Abstract

Purpose – This study investigates the effect of financial distress on corporate fraud by utilizing various financial distress indicators to assess their influence on fraudulent corporate behaviour. Research Method – The study employs panel data regression analysis using data from 210 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) over the 2015–2019 period. Financial distress is measured using three indicators: Z-Score, Zmijewski Score, and Grover Score. Findings – Descriptive statistics show that, on average, companies on the IDX are not generally experiencing financial distress nor engaging in corporate fraud. However, hypothesis testing provides empirical evidence that financial distress significantly affects corporate fraud. Among the indicators, the Grover Score exhibits the strongest influence on the likelihood of fraud occurrence. Implication – The findings offer theoretical insights for academics and practical implications for regulators and corporate governance professionals. The study suggests that revisiting the conceptual framework and re-grouping indicators in measuring financial distress can contribute to the development of future theories and preventive measures related to corporate fraud.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a differentiated learning strategy that incorporates an inclusive approach in Islamic jurisprudence to enhance student learning outcomes at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Deli Serdang. This research employed the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) model, developed by Robert M. Branch. The research findings of this study demonstrate the effectiveness and practicality of implementing a differentiated learning strategy with an inclusive approach in Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh). Learning activity increased across trials, with a score of 2.67 in the first trial (practical with minor revisions) and rising to 3.67 in the second trial (very practical). Most notably, the strategy was found to be effective in enhancing student learning outcomes, as indicated by the results of a statistical paired t-test, where the calculated t-value (17.86) exceeded the critical t-value (2.045). Furthermore, the normalized gain (N-Gain) score reached 0.587, reflecting a moderate level of improvement. Keywords: learning strategy, differentiated learning, inclusive approach
