Abstract

Background: Heart failure (HF) is a progressive condition markedby anatomical and functional cardiac defects. Inflammation is amajor factor in HF development. While some research implies a linkbetween elevated CRP and IL-6 levels and lower ejection fraction(EF), the results are inconsistent. This study aims to evaluate therelationship between C-reactive protein, IL-6 levels, and EF in heartfailure patients.Method: This cross-sectional analytic observational study wasconducted at Adam Malik Hospital to assess the relationshipbetween CRP and IL-6 levels and left ventricular EF (LVEF) in HFpatients. Result: The findings showed no significant connection betweenCRP and LVEF (p=0.391), implying that CRP does not directlyreflect systolic dysfunction. Conversely, IL-6 levels have asubstantial inverse connection with LVEF (p=0.001), indicating agreater link between systemic inflammation and cardiacperformance. Conclusion: These findings underline the importance of amultimodal approach to HF care, including the use of inflammatorymarkers for risk classification in this population. While CRP maynot be as accurate a predictor of systolic dysfunction, IL-6 appearsto be more closely related to heart failure severity. Keywords: CRP, Ejection fraction, Heart failure, IL-6.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a valid, practical, and effective interactive learning module in the main idea material. The type of research conducted is development research or commonly known as Research and Development (R&D). This research methodology uses the ADDIE model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The population of this study was 20 fourth-grade students. Data collection instruments in the study used validation sheets, questionnaires, and tests. Data collection techniques in the study were by testing the validity of two validators, testing the practicality, and testing the effectiveness using normalized values (N-Gain). The results of this study indicate that: (1) The interactive-based learning module was declared "Very Valid" after going through a validation process by media experts with a percentage of 94.3% (Very Valid) and by material experts with a percentage of 80% (Valid), (2) the interactive-based learning module was declared "Very Practical" based on the results of trials by educators with a percentage of 98.4% and by students with a percentage of 100%, and (3) the interactive-based learning module was proven to be "Very Effective" in improving students' reading comprehension skills by obtaining a normalized gain value of 0.82, which is in the high category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana pengaruh strategi student facilitator and explaining terhadap minat belajar pendidikan agama Islam di Madinah kelas X OTKP SMKS Sinar Husni 1 BM Labuhan Deli. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen yaitu quasi eksperimental design dengan pendekatan nonequivalent control group design. Adapun yang menjadi populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik yang beragama Islam di kelas X, sedangkan sampel penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu kelas kontrol (X OTKP 1) dan kelas eksperimen (X OTKP 2). Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan dengan menggunnakan tes dan angket minat belajar. Kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji t dengan jenis independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari strategi student facilitator and explaining terhadap minat belajar pendidikan agama Islam materi meneladani perjuangan dakwah Rasulullah saw. di Madinah kelas X OTKP SMKS Sinar Husni 1 BM Labuhan Deli. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji t yang menunjukkan nilai signifikansi pada hasil instrumen tes dan angket yang lebih kecil dari 0.05. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi guru PAI dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa, khususnya pada materi meneladani perjuangan dakwah Rasulullah SAW. di Madinah
