Abstract

Pregnant women class (KIH) is an adult learning process (Andragogy), which is a learning activity based on learning needs. Effective learning in KIH requires class managers who are able to condition communicative and educational classes, so that KIH participants are able to follow the class well. Hypnotic conditions by exploring the subconscious are a hypnoteaching learning method. The purpose of this community partnership program is to empower pregnant women's classes using the hypnoteaching learning method. This community service activity uses training and mentoring methods with the main targets being KIH managers and KIH participants. The first training was held on September 6, 2021 and continued with mentoring activities for KIH managers on October 21, 2021. The training was held in the pregnant women's class at the Pakjo Palembang Health Center. The number of participants who took part in the activity was 30 people consisting of 10 KIh managers and 20 KIH participants. It was concluded that training and mentoring using the hypnoteaching method was able to improve the skills of pregnant women's class managers and the learning interests of pregnant women's class participants.

Abstract

Anemia occurs at all stages of the life cycle, but is common in pregnant women and children. Data from the World Health Organization (WHO), the frequency of anemia in pregnant women in 1993 was 69.0%, non-pregnant women were 73.5%. ). The most common program used to control iron deficiency in developing countries today is the administration of iron supplements in pregnant women. (WHO, 2001). Based on the Basic Health Research, the incidence of anemia in Indonesia in 2007 was around 24.5%. Data from the Provincial Health Office in 2011, the national coverage of giving Fe tablets was 83.3%, this figure was below the national target of 86%). Obedience of pregnant women to take iron pills is an important factor in ensuring the increase in hemoglobin levels of pregnant women. Previous data studies have shown the effect of drug-taking supervisors on anemic pregnant women on the increase in Hb, p value = 0.001This community service activity uses a community participatory method. The results obtained are an increase before mentoring, the average knowledge is good 30%, very positive attitude is 40%, after mentoring good knowledge is 80%, and very positive attitude is 90 %.

Abstract

Scavengers are groups of people whose job is to collect garbage. Some of the collected waste can be processed and sold to meet their daily needs. This job as a scavenger is very at risk of infection and accidents due to work for them and their income is uncertain. This group needs special attention and assistance to improve their health and standard of living as well as to solve the problems they face. The form of assistance provided is in the form of counseling on how to prevent the occurrence of various infectious diseases and work-related accidents that can be caused by direct contact with waste that occurs continuously (every day) and also the lack of use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when scavenging.The expected results from community service activities carried out by the group of lecturers are for this group of scavengers to prevent and minimize the occurrence of infectious diseases that may arise and ensure security and safety while they work, increase income and skills to process waste materials that are useful and can be marketed .To increase the economic value of the family. The scavenger group at the Sukawinatan TPA location is expected to be fostered and can be used as an object of community service by a group of lecturers from Poltekkes Kemenkes Department of Midwifery in 2016. This scavenging group will be guided by 4 lecturers which will be carried out over a period of 2 semesters, namely the period March 2016 to August 2016 and September 2016 to December 2016. This activity is entitled Science and Technology for the Community (IbM) specification of protection against scavenger groups at the Sukawinatan Final Disposal Site (TPA) Palembang in 2016.

Abstract

Posyandu is a forum for health service activities from, by and for the community, with the aim of bringing basic and other health services needed by the community directly to individuals, groups, families. The success of Posyandu management requires strong support from various parties, both moral, material and financial support. In addition, collaboration with various related sectors is needed. In addition, the persistence and dedication of managers and cadres all have strategic roles in supporting the success of Posyandu implementation. Based on field data/situation analysis, Kenten Laut village is a village located on the outskirts of the city in Talang Kelapa District, Banyuasin Regency. Has 3 posyandu, the number of cadres is 15 people, the number of toddlers is 27.17%, the coverage of toddlers at the posyandu is 45.16%, KMS ownership is 0%, home visits have not been carried out, the education level of cadres is low (66.67%), books/administration Posyandu is not complete, Reporting is not going well. Social analysis shows that the knowledge and skills of cadres in carrying out their duties are still far from expectations, this can be seen from the implementation of the five service steps on the D day or the day when the posyandu is still running modestly/inadequately, and home visits have never been carried out by cadres. In connection with these conditions, mentoring, coaching and home visits have been carried out (10 October & 10 November 2016 at the Melati Posyandu, on 12 October and 12 November 2016 at the Red Orchid Posyandu, an evaluation of the results of mentoring and coaching as well as a home visit on opening day has been carried out Posyandu there is progress / improvement in both the quality of service and the caverage of posyandu visitors. The results of the evaluation showed that there was a significant increase in knowledge and skills in carrying out activities in each step of the five steps of the posyandu, the provision of PMT was in accordance with the recommended menu, home visits had been carried out by cadres. Suggestions still need to be continued with assistance and guidance in the field of administration and increasing community participation (PSM). So that the presence of posyandu strata can be increased to become Plenary/Independent Posyandu.

Abstract

Malnutrition is a major problem in the world that does not only occur in developing countries but also in developed countries (Freeman L). More than 3.5 million mothers and children under five every year are caused by malnutrition, and millions more experience permanent physical and mental disabilities as a result of lack of food intake in early life (Lancet, 2011). Based on the 2013 Riskesdas data, the prevalence of undernutrition was 12.1% in 2013. In the province of South Sumatra in 2013 the prevalence of undernutrition in children under five was 12.1% (Ministry of Health, 2014). In children under five with malnutrition, efforts need to be made so that they do not become malnourished and even increase their nutritional status. The effort that needs to be done is by providing additional food (PMT) for recovery (Kemenkes RI, 2011). PMT Recovery is intended as an addition, not as a substitute for the main daily meal. The PMT is based on local food ingredients with regional specialties adapted to local conditions (Directorate General of Nutrition and Maternal and Child Health, Ministry of Health, RI, 2012). This community service aims to improve the nutritional status of toddlers in the work area of ​​the Multiwahana Palembang Health Center by conducting counseling and distributing leaflets/posters about the Provision of Supplementary Foods (PMT) to toddlers to mothers who have babies and toddlers in the work area of ​​the Palembang Multiwahana Health Center. During the outreach activities, the community was very enthusiastic about listening and asking questions about good eating for infants and toddlers. This community service is expected to increase the knowledge and skills of the community in improving the nutritional status of toddlers by providing additional food according to the age of infants and toddlers.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to utilize yoga child pose to reduce menstrual pain in young women. The benefit of the program is to provide information and education to young women about yoga child pose so that it can be used as an alternative method of reducing menstrual pain besides taking medication. to adopt policies on UKS activities, especially those related to menstrual pain in young women and with movement guidelines (SOP) and in dealing with adolescents who experience menstrual pain. By holding yoga child pose training, young women can do child pose yoga movements independently to deal with menstrual pain they are experiencing. Young women feel relaxed and comfortable with the child pose yoga movement, besides that it is also easy to do independently.

Abstract

Abstract Data shows that the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in Indonesia is still relatively high, namely 305 per 100,000, in South Sumatra itself, the latest data for 2021 is still increasing, namely 131 people (with an MMR of 85 people per 100,000 live births). According to a report by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), IMR in Indonesia is reported to be 16 per 1,000 live births (KH). The problems faced are related to the still high Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) due to a lack of public education and understanding regarding the importance of pregnant women. There is still a lack of knowledge regarding the importance of maintaining health and visiting for pregnancy check-ups. The solution carried out in community service activities is in the form of providing education related to efforts to improve maternal and child health. This community service activity aims to accelerate efforts to reduce the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR), Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) and improve the health status of mothers, children and community nutrition. Apart from that, this activity provides education to cadres so that later cadres can continue to provide educational activities in an effort to prevent maternal and child health problems. The benefit of carrying out this activity is that residents, especially mothers and children, know the importance of maintaining health to prevent maternal and child health problems, so that they can improve the health status of mothers, children and community nutrition. Keywords: Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR), Infant Mortality Rate (IMR), Health Status Abstrak Data-data menunjukkan bahwa Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) di Indonesia masih tergolong tinggi yaitu 305 per 100.000, untuk di sumatera selatan sendiri data terakhir 2021 masih terus meningkat yaitu sebanyak 131 orang (dengan AKI sebanyak 85 orang per 100.000 kelahiran hidup). Menurut laporan Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), dilaporkan AKB di Indonesia yaitu 16 per 1.000 kelahiran hidup (KH). Permasalahan yang dihadapi terkait masih tingginya Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) dan Angka Kematian Bayi (AKB) karena masih kurangnya edukasi dan pemahaman masyakat tentang pentingnya Masih kurangnya pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang pentingnya menjaga kesehatan dan melakukan kunjungan untuk pemeriksaan kehamilannya. Solusi yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa memberikan edukasi terkait upaya meningkatkan kesehatan ibu dan anak. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mempercepat upaya penurunan Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI), Angka Kematian Bayi (AKB) dan meningkatkan status kesehatan Ibu, Anak dan Gizi masyarakat. Selain itu, kegiatan ini memberikan edukasi kepada kader agar nantinya kader dapat melanjutkan kegiatan pemberian edukasi dalam upaya pencegahan masalah kesehatan ibu dan anak. Manfaat dilakukan kegiatan ini adalah agar warga terutama ibu dan anak mengetahui tentang pentingnya menjaga kesehatan untuk mencegah terjadinya masalah terhadap kesehatan ibu dan anak, sehingga dapat meningkatkan status kesehatan Ibu, Anak dan Gizi masyarakat. Abstract

Herbal plants are plants that have been identified and known based on human observations to have compounds that are useful for preventing, curing disease, carrying out certain biological functions, and preventing insect and fungal attacks (Sapitri et al., 2022). With the many benefits that can be obtained from herbal plants, using your yard as a place to grow herbal plants will bring many benefits, especially for rural communities. Herbal plants do not require large areas of land, so planting them will make their cultivation very easy. The community will have plants that can be used to prevent and treat various diseases. So, people can avoid excessive use of chemical drugs (Pantur et al., 2022). The problem solutions offered in this community service activity are in the form of; a) Focus Group Discussion (FGD) I and II; explanation of program and technical activities with related parties (Pangkalan Benteng Village Government, Pangkalan Benteng Village Health Center and Poskesdes Officers, Pangkalan Benteng Village Posyandu Cadres, Community Leaders), b) Implementation of Activities; Socialization, Education and Assistance in Planting Herbal Plants and Their Use to Improve the Health and Economy of the Pangkalan Benteng Village Community for the Community and Health Cadres; Launching Examples of Herbal Plants (Family Medicinal Plants) planted in the grounds of the Pangkalan Benteng Village Office, c) Monitoring Evaluation; strengthening the sustainability of the program with the assistance of health cadres so that the activity objectives will be achieved (100% of the people of Pangkalan Benteng Village have herbal plants (family medicinal plants) in their respective yards and superior products emerge for the family economic ranking; information obtained through WAG with health cadres. Based on the achievement targets and activity results, it can be concluded that after the intervention was given, the results of the activities showed that; 80% of the people of Pangkalan Benteng Village who did not have herbal plants (family medicinal plants) in their yards, stated that they would start planting according to the information obtained from this activity; 100% of the people of Pangkalan Benteng Village already know how to optimize the benefits of herbal plants to improve the health status and economy of the family (100% of the family's superior herbal products have been educated and assisted regarding the use and processing of herbal plants (medicinal plants); family). As a follow-up to this activity, health cadres will accompany all heads of families in stages to plant herbal plants (family medicinal plants) in their respective yards and form small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to make superior herbal products for the people of Pangkalan Benteng Village to improve the economy. family.

Abstract

Abdominal stretching exercise merupakan latihan peregangan otot perut dan dapat digunakan untuk mengurangi rasa nyeri pada menstruasi. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan di SMA Kota Palembang didapatkan bahwa masih banyak siswi yang mengalami nyeri haid (dismenore) dan pada saat mengalami nyeri haid beberapa siswi meminta izin pulang ke rumah dan akhirnya tidak dapat mengikuti proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini untuk membantu Remaja Putri mengatasi nyeri haid dengan melakukan senam kombinasi dismenore dan abdominal stretching exercise. Metode dalam kegiatan ini dengan Pelatihan dan Pendidikan kesehatan. Hasil yang didapat pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah duta abdominal stretching exercise mampu mempraktikkan kembali senam kombinasi abdominal stretching exercise dengan benar. Selain itu, siswi yang mengalami dismenore mampu mengatasi keluhan nyeri selama menstruasi yang cara melakukan senam kombinasi abdominal stretching exercise. Kami menyarankan bahwa kegiatan ini sebaiknya dilakukan secara terus menerus dan berkesimbungan oleh pihak Mitra sehingga tingkat pada remaja putri dapat mengatasi dismenorea dengan cara senam kombinasi Abdominal Stretching Exercise. Senam ini dapat dilakukan pada siswa SMA dengan keluhan nyeri haid secara teratur sesuai dengan standar operasional protokol (SOP) dan video senam dismenorre. Abstract

Abstract The condition of Lalang Sembawa Village, which is a division area, still needs guidance from several sectors, especially in the health, education and community economic sectors. Moreover, the condition of the village area has quite a large percentage of poor families and there is a risk of dropping out of school for children from these families. Lalang Sembawa Village is also a fostered partner village of the Palembang Ministry of Health Poltekkes which is planned to become an Alert Village especially in the education and health sectors. Based on the potential and existing problems, several efforts were made to solve the problem: a) Formation and strengthening of standby villages; b) Increasing access to education; through the establishment of a “Simple Smart Home”. Activities related to the strengthening of the standby village are realized through the commitment of the standby village and management can be made. Apart from that, the planned simple smart house has also been realized with the supervisor coming from the local PAUD leaders and teachers.
