Abstract

Promiscuity is an increasingly worrying social phenomenon, including among elementary school children. The socialisation of promiscuity prevention at the elementary school level is crucial for building a strong character foundation from an early age. This study aims to improve students' understanding of promiscuity and identify effective strategies for preventing promiscuity in elementary school children. The qualitative research method involved all students at SDN 19 Koto Baru. Data was collected through observation and questioning and analysed using thematic and meta-review methods. The results showed that the majority of students had gained basic knowledge about the dangers of promiscuity, although there were still concerns about peer pressure. These findings provide an important insight for strengthening character education programmes in schools and supporting the role of the family in preventing deviant behaviour from an early age. Therefore, this study recommends that teachers optimise interactive teaching methods, parents increase dialogue and supervision at home, and schools routinely organise socialisation programmes to create a positive social environment conducive to forming strong moral values.

Abstract

Background. This research highlights the importance of the speed of the Dolyo Chagi kick in Taekwondo, which plays a role in scoring points during matches. Many junior athletes struggle to improve their kicking speed, so a combination of Hurdle Drill and Leader Drill exercises was implemented to enhance muscle explosiveness, balance, agility, coordination, and step speed. Objectives. This study aims to analyze the effect of combined hurdle and leader drills on Dolyo Chagi kick speed in junior Taekwondo athletes. Methods. The research method used the One Group Pretest-Posttest experimental design. The training program lasted for 16 sessions in one month with four training sessions per week. Measurements were made by counting the number of kicks in 10 seconds, and the data were analyzed through descriptive analysis, prerequisite tests, and parametric tests. Results. The research results show a significant increase from 11.60 to 14.90 kicks in 10 seconds, with a statistically significant difference between the pretest and posttest (p < 0.05). In addition to the increase in speed, this training also improves foot movement coordination, body stability, and movement transition agility. Conclusion. Thus, the combination of Hurdle Drill and Ladder Drill effectively enhances the performance of the Dolyo Chagi kick and is recommended for the training of Taekwondo athletes. This study contributes to sports science by providing empirical evidence that agility-based drills can significantly improve kicking speed, coordination, and explosiveness in junior athletes. Furthermore, it offers a practical training model that coaches can adopt and adapt to optimize athlete performance in martial arts disciplines.

Abstract

Background: Many efforts are made to manage used cooking oil waste, namely by reusing it into a useful product such as aromatherapy candles by using the addition of fragrances such as essential oils contained in orange peels which can stabilize the nervous system, cause a relaxing effect, and as a mosquito repellent. The utilization of used cooking oil and orange peel is one of the efforts to minimize waste and make it an economically valuable product. The purpose of this activity is to utilize waste cooking oil and orange peels so that they become products that can be of economic value in the East Jakarta MGMP 2 environment. Method: Counseling and demonstrations held at PKP Jakarta Islamic School High School in August 2023.  The data collection techniques were carried out by observation and questionnaire then the data was analyzed descriptively. Results: Chemistry teachers in the East Jakarta MGMP 2 environment are very enthusiastic and give a positive response to the activity of making aromatherapy candles from waste cooking oil and orange peels with the aim of minimizing environmental pollution so that the concept of simple waste treatment can be achieved. In addition, it can also create activities for the community so that it can help the community's economy through entrepreneurship. Conclusion: Waste cooking oil and orange peels can be utilized as aromatherapy candles to help the community's economy and improve environmental quality due to waste cooking oil that is not properly processed.

Abstract

This study provides a critical analysis of the implementation of Risk-Based Auditing (RBA) within a prominent Indonesian Islamic philanthropic institution, Baitul Maal Hidayatullah (BMH). Employing a qualitative case study methodology, the research is framed by a novel synthesis of Agency, Stewardship, and Institutional theories to dissect the complex governance dynamics at play. The principal finding is the identification of a "philanthropy trilemma," wherein the organization must navigate the competing imperatives of managerial efficiency, mission integrity (Sharia compliance), and institutional legitimacy. The study reveals that BMH strategically employs "decoupling" outsourcing its core financial and Sharia audits to resolve the internal paradox of applying an Agency-based control tool (RBA) within a Stewardship-driven culture, thereby securing external legitimacy while preserving internal trust. However, this strategy creates a critical assurance gap. Furthermore, the analysis deconstructs BMH's quantitative RBA model, exposing its "illusion of objectivity" and its failure to incorporate existential non-financial risks, such as Sharia non-compliance and reputational damage. The study concludes that a more holistic, strategically-aligned RBA framework is imperative. It recommends the integration of data analytics and continuous assurance as a transformative solution to overcome resource constraints and enhance governance, ultimately shifting the internal audit function from mere risk mitigation to strategic value co-creation.
