Abstract

Mathematics learning is learning that develops student creativity to improve thingking skills, construct new knowledge to increase good mastery of mathematical material. In learning mathematics there are several obstacles, namely low student achievement, lack of student motivation and students still think that mathematics is difficult and difficult to learn. To overcome these obstacles there is a solution for learning mathematics that is using Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) assisted by the number of hours in the addition operation material. By using Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) assisted by number hours, it is expected to be able to improve student learning achievement in the addition operation material at SDN Batulawang. This research uses quantitative research using quasi experimental methods with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This research was conducted in SDN Batulawang with a population of thirty people and used a systematic sample that divided students into two classes using even odd numbers, so that the control class was fifteen people and the experimental class fifteen people. Data collection techniques were carried out through pretest and posttest. Data were analyzed using SPSS.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of literacy dance skills on the ability to read letters grade 1 students of Banjarwangi State Elementary School. Learning to read in class 1 Banjarwangi State Elementary School there are obstacles namely when the teacher teaches reading and lack of confidence and student activity, lack of reading skills and lack of enthusiasm so that teachers experience obstacles and limitations in making learning media that is truly suitable and in accordance with the material to be taught. This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of literacy dance skills on the ability to read letters of grade 1 students of Banjarwangi State Elementary School. The formulation of the problem in this research is how to develop literacy dance skills on the ability to read letters and instill character in first grade students of Banjarwangi State Elementary School? The research method used is the development method with research or development design or R&D (Research and Development). This research was conducted at the Banjarwangi Public Elementary School in the District of Salopa in Tasikmalaya Regency in grade 1 students, the sample taken in this study was 9 students. Small groups of 1 person and large groups of 8 people. Data collection techniques in this study used a Questionnaire and Test dance literacy. The results of the study that literacy dance moves are suitable for the reading ability of grade 1 students of Banjarwangi State Elementary School.

Abstract

This paper is the result of research literature with the aim to describe the practice of teaching literacy in the elementary school. The application of authentic assessment in literacy learning and authentic assessment in the introduction of literacy on learning Indonesian.The method used in this research is literature study with research data obtained from several books and journals, as well as other sources that support the authentic assessment, introduction of literacy and learning Indonesian in elementary school. The process of this literature study is as follows: first, identify the theory systematically, then locate the relevant literature, and analyze documents containing information relate to an authentic assessment of learning literacy on learning Indonesian in elementary school. Therefore, this study is analyzed by using descriptive technique. Research literature indicates that the concept of authentic assessment is appropriate and in line with the learning model that emphasizes on literacy awareness, especially in learning Indonesian at the primary level. Both are aligned in terms of independence and active learners, lots of variety of learning activities, resources and learning products, as well as local and cultural awareness with fixed based on the standards of competence specified. Learning Indonesian covering language skills and literature should be relevant to the social context of the community. Awareness of literacy should be integrated in the learning process at the classroom. The process of developing the ability to speak and compose implemented by developing cognitive abilities, analysis, synthesis, evaluation, and creation through a direct study of the social conditions by using a careful and critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul “Pembelajaran Rampak Kendang dengan Bahasa Isyarat pada Siswa Tunarungu di SLB Aisiyah Singaparna” ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) proses pembelajaran rampak kendang dengan bahasa isyarat pada siswa tunarungu di SLB Aisiyah Singaparna, (2) kendala-kendala yang dihadapi siswa tunarungu dalam pembelajaran rampak kendang di SLB Aisiyah Singaparna, dan (3) hasil pembelajaran rampak kendang dengan bahasa isyarat di SLB Aisiyah Singaparna. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Metode ini digunakan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang proses pembelajaran rampak kendang dengan bahasa isyarat, kendala yang dihadapi siswa tunarungu dalam pembelajaran rampak kendang, serta gambaran hasil pembelajaran rampak kendang tersebut. Setelah penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dilakukan penelitian lanjutan dengan metode eksperimen ataupun metode Research and Development (R&D), yaitu pengembangan sebuah media pembelajaran berupa media digital untuk membantu siswa tunarungu dalam pembelajaran rampak kendang atau pembelajaran lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa tunarungu SLB Aisyiyah mampu mengikuti pembelajaran rampak kendang melalui instruksi bahasa isyarat. Proses pembelajaran rampak kendang dilakukan sebanyak sepuluh kali pertemuan di dalam Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar (KBM) dan lima pertemuan di luar KBM. Di akhir pembelajaran, siswa menampilkan rampak kendang di depan umum. Hal ini dilakukan untuk menanamkan rasa percaya diri siswa tunarungu. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan kepala sekolah dan guru, kendala yang sering dihadapi oleh siswa tunarungu dalam pembelajaran, yaitu masalah komunikasi. Pembelajaran tari tidak terlalu mengalamai kendala karena bersifat visual, namun kendala dihadapi saat harus menggunakan musik dan pergantian gerakan. Untuk keharmonisan musik dan gerak disiasati dengan pengkodean, hitungan, dan ketukan. Siswa akan mengalami kesulitan mengikuti pembelajaran jika penglihatan terlepas dari guru, maka pandangan siswa diusahakan selalu fokus.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode lattice dalam menyelesaikan operasi perkalian terhadap prestasi belajar matematika di kelas III SDN Sukasari. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperimental dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Grup Design. Populasi yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas III SDN Sukasari yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh dengan teknik sampling sistematis yang menghasilkan 16 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 15 siswa kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik tes dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan metode lattice dalam menyelesaiakan operasi perkalian terhadap prestasi belajar siswa di kelas III SDN Sukasari. Hal ini terlihat dari perbedaan hasil nilai rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen yaitu 89,38 dan kelas kontrol 72,27. Dalam uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan Independent Sample T-Test yang diperoleh nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil posttest kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode lattice dengan kelas kontrol yang tanpa menggunakan metode lattice (metode konvensional). Abstract

Lesson study is a process of improvement the quality of learning activities that emphasize a collaborative process for a group of teachers to identify learning problems, design learning scenarios, implement and evaluate through continuous plan, do, see and reflection activities. The Teacher Working Group (Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG)) for Early Childhood Education in Tamansari sub-district has the potential to form a learning community through lesson study, as an effort to develop early childhood teacher competency in developing materials and designing learning activities in the classroom. Mathematics, Language and Arts are very important to be introduced and mastered by children from an early age. The objectives of this community service are 1) Forming a learning community through lesson study activities at the early childhood education in Tamanasari sub-district 2) increasing teacher knowledge about lesson study activities in developing the quality of learning at early childhood institutions in Tamansari Sub-district, Tasikmalaya City, 3) Assisting lesson study activities in working groups in early childhood teacher in Tamansari District. The method used is training and mentoring lesson study. The results of community service are 1) The formation of a school-based learning community in early childhood education at Tamansari sub-district. 2) Increasing the knowledge of earli childhood teachers in carrying out lesson study activities, 3) Increasing the professional and pedagogical competence of teachers in developing mathematics, language and dance learning in early childhood education.

Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the effect of pair to pair method towards the students’ achievement by using pizza slice as a media. The method of this research used Pretes-Posttest Group Design. This research used random sampling method. There were 22 students grade IV of SDN 2 Sukadana, 11 students as a control group and 11 students as an experiment group. The data collection of this research used pretest dan posttest, interview, and documentation. After the data gathered, those were analyzed used normalizaton test by kolmogrov-smirnov test and homogeneity test by fisher test. The result shows the pair to pair method gives significant effect toward students’ achievement by using pizza slice as a media. This can be seen in control group the students’ achievent in pretest 46.55 and posttest 64.36 and in the experiment group the students’ achievent in pretest  52.73 and posttest 72.36. Then Paired Sample method shows the hypothesis result sig 0,000 < 0,05, so HO is rejected and HA is accepted, which mean there is a significant effect from pair to pair method towards the students' achievements by using pizza slice as a media of grade IV of SDN 2 Sukadana.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to explain the procedure for developing Legendary Comic Media (KODA) to Improve Story Reading Skills for Class III Students at SDN 4 Dawungsari, Garut Regency and to determine the quality of learning media based on the validity and practicality of the media. This study uses a type of development research using a development model or Research and Development (R&D). The population in this study were all students of class III SDN 4 Dawungsari, totaling 21 people. The assessment was carried out by material experts, media experts, Indonesian language teachers, and responses by Class III students at SDN 4 Dawungsari. The results showed that the media development process had been carried out through the stages of analysis, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the questionnaire analysis from media experts before the revision got an average score of 4.1 included in the good category, then the media validation stage after the revision got an average score of 4.6 into the good category. Meanwhile, the material experts got an average score of 3.9 before the revision was in the fairly good category, and after being revised to 4.5 it was included in the good category. . Keywords: Legend comic media, reading, story Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menjelaskan prosedur Pengembangan Media Komik Legenda (KODA) untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Cerita Siswa Kelas III SDN 4 Dawungsari Kabupaten Garut dan untuk mengetahui kualitas smedia pembelajaran berdasarkan kevalidan dan kepraktisan media. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III SDN 4 Dawungsari yang berjumlah 21 orang. Penilaian dilakukan oleh ahli materi, ahli media, guru Bahasa Indonesia, dan tanggapan oleh siswa Kelas III SDN 4 Dawungsari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pengembangan media telah dilakukan melalui tahapan analisis, perencanaan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Adapaun hasil analisis angket dari ahli media sebelum revisi mendapatkan skor rata-rata 4,1 termasuk dalam kategori baik, lalu tahap validasi media sesudah revisi mendapatkan skor rata-rata 4,6 masuk kedalam kategori baik. Sedangkan dari ahli materi mendapatkan skor rata-rata 3,9 sebelum revisi dalam kategori cukup baik, dan setelah direvisi menjadi 4,5 termasuk kategori baik Berdasarkan pernyataan diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa kevalidan media dan materi termasuk dalam kategori valid sedangkan kepraktisan media termasuk dalamkkategori sangat praktis. Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang berlatar belakang adanya masalah terkait dengan membaca pemahaman dan media pembelajaran. Masalah yang dihadapi adalah minimnya media pembelajaran yang dapat membantu proses pembelajaran, pendidik hanya menggunakan buku cetak saat pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, peneliti melakukan penelitian pengembangan buku cerita bergambar berbasis pendidikan lingkungan hidup. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangan produk berupa buku cerita bergambar yang berjudul “Lingkungan Bersih, Sehat dan Asri” dan menguji keefektifan media tersebut. Metode yang digunakan untuk penetian ini adalah RnD (Research and Development) dengan desain penelitian yang dikemukakan oleh Brog and Gall yaitu 10 tahapan. Dari 10 tahap, peneliti hanya menggunakan tujuh tahap yaitu (1) tahap analisis masalah, (2) tahap pengumpulan data, (3) tahap desain produk, (4) tahap validasi desain, (5) tahap revisi desain, (6) tahap uji coba produk. (7) tahap revisi . Intrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah daftar pertanyaan wawancara dan Angket. Wawancara digunakan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan kepada guru kelas II SDN Borosole, sedangkan angket digunakan untuk validasi buku cerita bergambar. Validasi dilakukan oleh dosen ahli Media, Materi dan Bahasa. Skor rata-rata yang diperoleh dari hasil validasi sebesar 3,84 dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”, sehingga layak digunakan pada tahap ujicoba. Ujicoba dilakukan di SDN Borosole dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 24 siswa. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media buku cerita bergambar berbasis pendidikan lingkungan hidup efektif digunakan pada keterampilan membaca pemahaman kelas II SDN Borosole.

Abstract

Healthy living behavior is a reflection of a family lifestyle that always pays attention to and maintains the health of all family members. School-age children are a critical age group because at that age a child is vulnerable to health problems. In addition, school-age children are also in a condition that is very sensitive to stimuli so they are easy to guide, direct, and still have good habits, including healthy living habits. Children of this age also have the trait of always wanting to convey what they receive and know from other people. The results of observations made at the Kuala Langat Malaysia Guidance Centre still have a lack of healthy behavior. The conditions of the students were very diverse and the facilities were inadequate, because all classes, from grade 1 to grade 6, were made into 1 class. Washing hands with soap (Hand Hygiene) is one of the healthy living behavior in students. This is important for children who are vulnerable to both communicable and non-communicable diseases. The method of implementing community service is through education and the practice of washing hands with soap directly to students. The results show that students and teachers are very enthusiastic and follow every step practiced by the presenters. they were happy and practiced together after the activity was over. By providing education on healthy living, especially hand washing, it is hoped that teachers and students at the Kuala Langat Guidance Centre will have good and healthy habits.
