Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia led a shift in university learning policies towards a hybrid learning model. The objective of this study is to determine how English literature students feel about the workload and time suitability of hybrid learning. The descriptive quantitative research method was employed, with questionnaires serving as instruments. The questionnaire consisted of five Likert items in order to gather information for the research findings. The questionnaire was distributed to 467 out of 870 students enrolled in the English Literature Study Program at Gunadarma University using google form and was analysed using a descriptive approach. Data collection used random sampling technique in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. Ali’s (2018) three aspects of learning literature were used to categorize the data. The eight courses perceived were categorised into 3 groups, e.g., language structure (ls), rhetorical (r) and contextual knowledge (ck). The research results show that perceptions related to time suitability are very good with an average of 45.30% (ck), 48.68% (r), and 48.9% (ls). The perception of workload also has positive results, with 41.14% (ls), 42.26% (r) and 48.7% (ck). These results indicate that the learning model is feasible and acceptable for language and literature study program. The findings highlighted collaboration and commitment of participants in hybrid learning environments. It also displayed the eight courses that were thought to be required for determining the best teaching-learning strategy to use for hybrid learning. In order to improve these findings, it is suggested that additional research be conducted to investigate students' perceptions of other variables.

Abstract

Jakarta is one of the Muslim-friendly tourist destinations in Indonesia. The DKI Jakarta government has various limitations in managing existing facilities, so community participation is needed. It encourages people to utilize application-based new media to answer the challenges and problems faced by Jakarta. A platform is required in the form of a digital application that can load destinations ranging from places, lodging, food, and facilities owned by tourist attractions labeled halal tourism to make it easier to find halal tourist destinations in Jakarta as an optimization of intelligent cities and contribute to SDGs. Halal tourism applications make it easier for people to get information related to Halal Tourism in Jakarta with the most popular development methods, namely collaborative filtering and location-based filtering methods. This method uses knowledge gathered from monitoring the behavior and personal choices of system users, who are generally known as personal profile users. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) by designing an Android-based system. Data collection is an interview with sources with the DKI Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Office accompanied by expert information. The result of this research is the design of the Jakarta City Halal Tourism Application (SI PAHAJI) aimed at local and foreign tourists. The application contains information about tourist attractions, accommodations, and other facilities that are friendly to halal visitors in DKI Jakarta to help recommend tourist destinations in DKI Jakarta that follow user preferences and locations.

Abstract

War flaming constitutes one of the perilous practices prevalent on social media platforms. This might result in discomfort associated with social media usage, leading to melancholy, anxiety, excessive worry, and disturbances in mental health. War Flaming has become a prominent issue that necessitates enhancing digital literacy on social media platforms. This study employed a qualitative methodology, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). Informants were selected using standard case sampling. The selected informants include the Directorate of IKP from the Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia, SiBerkreasi, digital technology and culture experts, and specialists in social campaigns. The findings indicated that digital literacy building aimed at mitigating war flaming on social media involved creating innovative social campaigns through pertinent language and a human-centric literacy approach. This strategy seeks to engage Generation Z, empowering youth communities as proactive advocates against hoax narratives on social media. It emphasizes collaboration among governmental entities, community leaders, and journalists within the anti-war flaming educational initiative, alongside the optimization of TikTok and Instagram for disseminating positive content, and partnerships with young influencers to promote the significance of digital reputation. Creative digital literacy, facilitated by social campaigns and multisectoral cooperation, effectively mitigates war flaming on social media, enhances Gen Z awareness, and promotes mental health through affirmative material.

Abstract

This page is in Indonesian Translate to English    AfrikaansAlbanianAmharicArabicArmenianAzerbaijaniBengaliBulgarianCatalanCroatianCzechDanishDutchEnglishEstonianFinnishFrenchGermanGreekGujaratiHaitian CreoleHebrewHindiHungarianIcelandicIndonesianItalianJapaneseKannadaKazakhKhmerKoreanKurdish (Kurmanji)LaoLatvianLithuanianMalagasyMalayMalayalamMalteseMaoriMarathiMyanmar (Burmese)NepaliNorwegianPashtoPersianPolishPortuguesePunjabiRomanianRussianSamoanSimplified ChineseSlovakSlovenianSpanishSwedishTamilTeluguThaiTraditional ChineseTurkishUkrainianUrduVietnameseWelsh Always translate Indonesian to English Never translate Indonesian Never translate ejournal.uin-suska.ac.idTRANSLATE with x EnglishArabicHebrewPolishBulgarianHindiPortugueseCatalanHmong DawRomanianChinese SimplifiedHungarianRussianChinese TraditionalIndonesianSlovakCzechItalianSlovenianDanishJapaneseSpanishDutchKlingonSwedishEnglishKoreanThaiEstonianLatvianTurkishFinnishLithuanianUkrainianFrenchMalayUrduGermanMalteseVietnameseGreekNorwegianWelshHaitian CreolePersian //  TRANSLATE with COPY THE URL BELOW Back EMBED THE SNIPPET BELOW IN YOUR SITE Enable collaborative features and customize widget: Bing Webmaster PortalBack//
