Abstract

Chicken meat is a source of animal protein for humans. The aim of this study was to detect pathogenic bacteria in chicken meat sold at the Silver Plain traditional market. The method used in this study is descriptive because research that describes the characteristics of a population or a phenomenon that is the object of research is trial and error. From the observational data analyzed descriptively as many as 10 samples from 10 traders obtained from the silver overlay market found the presence of Salmonella sp and Escherichia coli bacteria. The results showed that the highest number of colonies was found in trader 10, namely 3.8x106 cfu/g and the lowest in trader 5, namely 3.9x104 cfu/g, this was not in accordance with the maximum limit of microbial contamination in foodstuffs (fresh chicken meat) according to the National Standard. Indonesia (SNI) 7388:2009 namely TPC 1 x 106 colonies/gram. The results also showed that 70% of the chicken meat samples were contaminated with Salmonella sp bacteria, and 60% of the samples were contaminated with Escherichia coli bacteria. This shows that the quality of chicken meat sold in the Silver Plain traditional market does not meet the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 7388:2009 Escherichia coli 1 x 101 colonies/gram, and Salmonella sp negative/25gram

Abstract

Andaliman fruits are known for high antioxidants and antibacterial ingredients. This herb has a high potential to pretend oxidation and contamination of foodstuffs, such as meat. The research aims to investigate the effect of marination with andaliman fruit juice on chicken meat antioxidant activity and Salmonella availability. About 12 samples of duck meat were divided into 4 groups such as 0 % andaliman fruit juice (P0), andaliman fruit juice 10 % (P1), andaliman fruit juice 15 % (P2), and andaliman fruit juice 20 % (P3). Each group consisted of 3 samples. Antioxidant activity and Salmonella availability were examined in the research. The research showed that Antioxidant activity P0 was about 18,33 %, P1 (23,46 %), P2 (9,01 %), and P3 (13,35 %). Salmonella examination showed that P0 positive, P1 positive, P2 positive, and P3 negative. E. coli test showed that all treatments were negative. The research concluded that marination with 10 % andaliman fruit juice increases the antioxidant activity of chicken meat and marination with 20 % could erase Salmonella availability in chicken meat.

Abstract

Indonesian people prefer beef as a source of meat. More production and focus on high quality beef to meet the increasing demand for beef. The purpose of this study was to ascertain whether beef at the local market in Hamparan Perak District was contaminated with Salmonella sp. and E. coli. This research was conducted in January and February 2023 and is a descriptive study. Five samples of beef sold at the Klumpang Inpres Market, Hamparan Perak District, were used in this study. The findings revealed 18 bacterial isolates, most of which were round with intact edges, most of which were flat in height, and almost all of which were white. Seller 3 has the largest total number of microorganisms with a sample number of PS3 4.8 106 CFU / g, while seller 5 has the lowest number of PS5 samples 1.3 106 CFU / g. Contamination test results for Salmonella sp. and E.coli showed that all meat samples tested positive for Salmonella sp. and E. coli. A total of 4 isolates of gram-positive bacteria with purple color were found in the findings of bacterial staining, while there were 14 isolates of gram-negative bacteria with red and pink colors.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Ayam broiler merupakan salah satu sumber protein hewani yang murah. Ayam broiler sebagai penghasil daging mempunyai pertumbuhan yang cepat, dengan deposisi lemak dan protein tinggi. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui pengaruh pemberian 3% ekstrak kombinasi tumbuhan obat daun pepaya, daun alpukat, herba meniran, daun sirsak, kunyit dan temulawak dengan berbagai rasio terhadap kadar protein ayam broiler.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental. Metode penelitian meliputi penyiapan bahan uji berupa pengumpulan dan pengolahan tumbuhan, identifikasi tumbuhan dengan cara studi pustaka, pembuatan serbuk simplisia, pembuatan ekstrak etanol dari daun pepaya, daun sirsak dan herba meniran, pembuatan ekstrak akuades dari daun sirsak, kunyit, dan temulawak, pembuatan pakan yang diformulasikan dengan kombinasi ekstrak tumbuhan obat sesuai dengan formula, pemeliharaan ayam, pengambilan sampel daging ayam, serta pengujian sampel daging yakni analisis kadar protein daging ayam dengan menggunakan metode Kjedahl. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari empat perlakuan dan enam ulangan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan sidik ragam (ANOVA) dan dibandingkan secara deskriptif dengan F0 yang menggunakan pakan komersial.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan kombinasi ekstrak tumbuhan obat sebanyak 3% tidak mempengaruhi kadar protein daging ayam. Hasil analisis sidik ragam (ANOVA) menunjukkan bahwa penambahan ekstrak kombinasi tumbuhan obat tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata (sig.> 0.05) terhadap kadar protein daging ayam broiler. Kata Kunci : Broiler; Ekstrak Kombinasi Tumbuhan Obat; Kadar Protein. ABSTRACT Broiler chicken is a cheap source of animal protein. Broiler chickens as meat producers have fast growth, with high fat and protein deposition. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving 3% combination extracts of medicinal plants papaya leaves, avocado leaves, meniran herbs, soursop leaves, turmeric and temulawak with various ratios on the protein content of broiler chickens. This study was an experimental study. The research method includes the preparation of test materials in the form of collecting and processing plants, identifying plants by means of a literature study, making simplicia powder, making ethanol extracts from papaya leaves, soursop leaves and meniran herbs, making aquadest extracts from soursop leaves, turmeric, and temulawak, making feed. which is formulated with a combination of medicinal plant extracts according to the formula, raising chickens, taking samples of chicken meat, and testing meat samples, namely the analysis of protein content of chicken meat using the Kjedahl method. The research design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) which consisted of four treatments and six replications. The data obtained were analyzed by means of variance (ANOVA) and compared descriptively with F0 using commercial feed. The results of analysis of variance (ANOVA) showed that the addition of a combination of medicinal plant extracts did not have a significant effect (sig.> 0.05) on the protein content of broiler meat. Abstract

ABSTRAK Feed Additive adalah bahan tambahan yang digunakan pada pakan ternak untuk mendapatkan pertumbuhan ternak yang optimal. Beberapa tumbuhan seperti daun pepaya, daun alpukat, daun sirsak, herba meniran, kunyit, dan temulawak merupakan tumbuhan yang memiliki aktivitas sebagai antibakteri, antiparasit, menurunkan kadar kolesterol, meningkatkan sistem imun, dan meningkatkan metabolisme sehingga memiliki potensi sebagai feed additive dalam sediaan formulasi. Formula diuji dengan pemberian pakan pada ayam yang dapat digunakan oleh masyarakat. Metode pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling dengan tahapan yaitu daun pepaya, daun alpukat, daun sirsak, herba meniran, kunyit dan temulawak masing-masing diekstraksi maserasi dan dekok menggunakan pelarut etanol dan aquadest kemudian di formulasi dan dilakukan pencampuran ke dalam ransum yang di uji terhadap 24 ekor ayam broiler. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 6 ulangan kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah bobot badan ayam broiler. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi ekstrak tumbuhan obat sebagai Feed Additive secara umum mampu meningkatkan bobot badan, bahkan pada Formulasi 1 memberikan pengaruh meningkatkan bobot badan akhir ayam broiler yang paling besar. Hal ini menunjukkan ekstrak tumbuhan obat Formulasi 1 memiliki efek terhadap peningkatan bobot badan. Kata Kunci : Feed Additive; Bobot Badan; Ekstrak; Tumbuhan Obat; Ayam broiler. ABSTRACT Feed Additives are additional ingredients used in animal feed to get optimal livestock growth. Some plants such as papaya leaves, avocado leaves, soursop leaves, meniran herbs, turmeric, and javanese tumeric are plants that have activities as antibacterial, antiparasitic, reduce cholesterol levels, increase the immune system, and increase metabolism so that it has the potential as feed additives for the formulation. The formula is tested by feeding it to the chicken that can be used by the community. The method used was purposive sampling which is extraction by maceration and decoction of papaya leaves, avocado leaves, soursop leaves, herbaceous meniran, turmeric and javanese tumeric using ethanol and aquadest as the solvents then formulated and mixed into rations then tested against 24 broilers. The design used in the research is the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 handling and 6 replications than the data were analyzed using ANOVA. The parameter observed for this study was the body weight of broiler chickens. The results showed that the combination of medicinal plant extracts as a Feed Additive generally was able to increase body weight of the broiler chickens, even in Formulation 1, the body weight of broiler chickens increased the largest. This shows that the medicinal plant extract of Formulation 1 has an effect on increasing body weight. Keyword: Feed Additive; Body Weight; Extracts; Medicinal Plant; Broiler chicken.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap kesulitan belajar pada Mahasiswa Baru. Sebanyak 93 Mahasiswa baru Angkatan 2020 Fakultas Pertanian dan Peternakan Universitas Tjut Nyak Dhien Medan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala kesulitan belajar dan skala motivasi belajar. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji asumsi dan uji hipotesis. Hasilnya menunjukkan : 1) berdasarkan uji asumsi data penelitian terbukti secara normalitas, homogenitas dan linieritas; 2) terdapat hubungan positif dan ada pengaruh yang siginifikan Antara Motivasi Belajar Terhadap Kesulitan Belajar Mahasiswa Pada Saat Pembelajaran Daring yaitu sebesar 51,4%. Kata Kunci : Motivasi Belajar; Kesulitan Belajar dan Mahasiswa Baru.

Abstract

Cahaya adalah dari hasil pergerakan elektron pada sebuah atom, dimana pada sebuah atom, elektron bergerak pada suatu orbit yang mengelilingi sebuah inti atom. Distribusi pada luminasi didalam sebuah medan penglihatan memiliki perhatian sebagai pelengkap objek nilai tingkat pencahayaan di dalam ruangan mempengaruhi warna lampu dan bergantung kepada tingkat pencahayaan yang diperlukan agar diperoleh pencahayaan yang baik, secara umum, makin tinggi tingkat pencahayaan yang diperlukan, makin sejuk tampak warna yang dipilih sehingga tercipta pencahayaan yang baik pula Energi yang dilepaskan pada lampu LED merupakan bentuk dari foton sehingga menghasilkan cahaya, semakin besar energi yang dilepaskan, semakin besar energi yang terkandung dalam foton tersebut.pada pengabdian ini melakukan sosialaisasi perawatan dan pemasangaan lampu panel surya untuk dapat menerangi ruangan musala dengan metode memanfaatkan energi matahari yang dirubah menjadi energi listrik, pada hasil pemasangan titik penerangan dilakukan di empat sudut yang dapat menerangi seluruh ruang agar memudahkan sisi pada sudut untuk menyerao cahaya pada setiap sudut.

Abstract

Usaha kerajinan tangan dari olahan limbah plastik rumah tangga merupakan salah satu produk unggulan dari HANA CRAFT dan menjadi usaha yang potensial di Desa Kelambir Lima Kecamatan Hamparan Perak. Kendala yang dihadapi mitra adalah bidang pemasaran mengenai minat beli masyarakat kurang, strategi pemasaran belum tepat sasaran sementara dalam bidang manajemen khususnya keuangan belum menerapkan tata kelola keuangan yang baik dengan mengikuti standar yang berlaku yaitu SAK EMKM serta legalitas usaha belum terdaftar ddi pemerintah setempat. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini, UMKM HANA CRAFT memperoleh Edukasi SMART BISNIS UMKM melalui pelatihan membangun konsep bidang produksi, bidang pemasaran dan penjualan, bidang manajemen keuangan, bidang Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) secara terpadu. Rangkaian konsep tersebut menjadi sebuah bentuk Galeri Bisnis Terpadu. Galeri tersebut dibangun untuk memperkenalkan produk usaha mitra kepada masyarakat lebih luas maupun masyarakat setempat. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah peningkatan jumlah omzet, kemampuan manajemen meningkat, unit usaha berupa galeri pada usaha mitra terdaftar dibadan hukum. Abstract

his research aims to find out, analyze and present the consumption patterns of frozen broiler carcasses by households in the city of Medan, where this research was conducted on 100 respondents using Google Form and carried out through direct observation and interviews with respondents who are consumers of frozen broiler carcasses in the city of Medan with accuracy. data of 33.3% in each place, namely large malls, small stores and fresh markets. The results of research on Google Formshow that the majority of respondents do not look for information before making a purchase by 60% - 98%, apart from thatthe price of broiler carcasses in the product strategy research sub focus shows that respondents' purchases are influenced by price, credibility and availability with a percentage of 60% - 90%. And purchasing decisions are influenced by promotional strategies and distribution strategies with a percentage level of 70% -90%. Then, with direct observation and interviews with an assessment of the research attributes, the results showed different percentages in the categories of income, age, gender and education on consumption pattern parameters. In terms of price parameters, observations were made with the results that there was a decrease of 3.57% and a price increase of 5.45% for frozen carcasses and a significant increase in fresh carcasses at a rate of 3.57%-10.34% every week. The purchasing decision parameters of the proposed categories provide different percentages based on the mindset of the respondent in question. This research is able to provide information related to the development and marketing of frozen broiler carcasses.

Abstract

Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Non Faktorial yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diterapkan meliputi pemberian berbagai dosis POC (tanpa POC, 5 gram, 10 gram, dan 15 gram) pada bibit rumput biovitas yang ditanam dalam polybag dengan 100 ml air dan 25 stek per polybag. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh berbagai dosis POC terhadap pertumbuhan bibit rumput biovitas.
