Abstract

Spodoptera frugiperda merupakan salah satu hama yang merugikan tanaman jagung. Saat ini, para petani sering membunuh ulama Grayak dengan menggunakan insektisida kimia sintetis, yang biayanya mahal dan berdampak buruk bagi manusia dan lingkungan. Pemanfaatan insektisida nabati yang terbuat dari ekstrak tanaman etanol Dieffenbachia seguine yang dikenal dengan nama Sri Rejeki merupakan salah satu cara untuk memberantas hama tersebut karena mengandung senyawa kimia yang bersifat racun bagi hama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak ekstrak etanol tanaman Sri rejeki ( Dieffenbachia seguine ) terhadap kematian ulat greyak ( Spodoptera frugiperda ) dan mengetahui konsentrasi yang paling efektif terhadap kematian Spodoptera frugiperda . Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Uji ANOVA satu arah digunakan untuk menguji data dalam penelitian ini. Uji lanjut dilakukan dengan menggunakan BNT atau LSD ( Least Significance Different ) pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa jumlah kematian Spodoptera frugiperda bervariasi tergantung pada perlakuannya. Perlakuan P4 (30%) memiliki rata-rata mortalitas 100% dan merupakan perlakuan yang paling berhasil dalam uji coba ini. Berdasarkan nilai sig uji ANOVA yang dicapai sebesar 0,000 ,05 maka dapat dikatakan terdapat pengaruh yang nyata antara ekstrak etanol tanaman Sri rejeki ( Dieffenbachia seguine ) dengan mortalitas ulat Grayak jagung ( Spodoptera frugiperda ).

Abstract

Tuntutan global menuntut dunia pendidikan untuk selalu menyesuaikan perkembangan teknologi. Hadirnya konsep e-learning ditengah-tengah pendidikan belum seutuhnya dimanfaatkan pendidik sebagai salah satu referensi dalam membantu proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besar hasil belajar biologi siswa SMA Negeri 3 Langsa yang diajarkan dengan menerapkan E-LKPD berbasis liveworksheets; serta pengaruh penerapan Elektronik Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (E-LKPD) berbasis liveworksheets terhadap hasil belajar biologi siswa SMA Negeri 3 Langsa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 3 Langsa sebanyak 288 siswa yang terdiri dari 8 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling sebanyak 1 kelas, yaitu X IPA 1 dengan jumlah 36 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pretest dan posttest dengan jumlah 20 soal bentuk pilihan ganda yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa besar hasil belajar biologi siswa SMA Negeri 3 Langsa dengan penerapan E-LKPD berbasis liveworksheets memiliki skor rata-rata/mean sebesar 75,3 yang termasuk kedalam kriteria cukup baik; serta terdapat pengaruh penerapan E-LKPD berbasis liveworksheets terhadap hasil belajar biologi siswa SMA Negeri 3 Langsa hal ini dilihat dari pengujian hipotesis diperoleh data nilai thitung > dari ttabel, yaitu 16,29 > 1,691 sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the decline in students' abilities and grades and the teaching and learning process carried out was still less effective because after several semesters the learning process was online. So to improve it, an efficient learning model is needed which is expected to improve students' learning abilities and values. This research aims to determine student learning outcomes using the Numbered Heads Together learning model based on Mind Mapping in class X IPA MAN 3 Langkat, to determine the effect of the Numbered Heads Together learning model based on Mind Mapping on student learning outcomes in class X IPA MAN 3 Langkat. This type of research is quantitative research and uses an experimental design, that is true experimetal design. The population in this study were all MAN 3 Langkat students. And the samples in this research were 36 students in class X IPA 2 as the experimental class and 36 students in class X IPA 3 as the control class. The results of this research show that there is an influence of the numbered heads together model based on mind mapping on student learning outcomes in ecosystem material at MAN 3 Langkat where tcount ttable, namely 5.999 1.994. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the numbered heads together model based on mind mapping has an influence on student learning outcomes in ecosystem material at MAN 3 Langkat. Through the numbered heads together model based on mind mapping, the student learning outcomes in the experimental class were 85.78 in the good category and the learning outcomes in the control class were 73.5 in the sufficient category.

Abstract

People use the lacum plant (Cayratia trifolia L.), an herbaceous plant from the Vitaceae family that grows wild, as a traditional medicine. Lacum leaves have special things inside them called secondary metabolites like flavonoids, alkaloids, phenols, steroids, terpenoids, and tannins. Toxicity tests must be carried out because flavonoids, alkaloids and steroids have harmful effects on test animals at certain concentrations. A substance or natural ingredient that will be used as a medicine is tested to determine its level of toxicity. The purpose of this study was to determine the total levels of toxic compounds and the level of toxicity in the ethanol extract of lacum leaves (Cayratia trifolia L.) Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT). This research uses Artemia salina leach larvae as test subjects. This research also used an experimental approach arranged in a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 7 treatments and 4 replications. The percentage of larval death was used in probit analysis to identify the toxic effects of the extract and calculate the LC50 value. Based on the research results, it shows that there are total levels of toxic compounds in the ethanol extract of lacum leaves (Cayratia trifolia L.), namely flavonoids, alkaloids and steroids with an LC50 value of 105.08 ppm which places it in the moderately toxic category and is thought to have anticancer properties.

Abstract

Bonjol District, West Sumatra has a very high diversity of flora, one of the flora found in Bonjol District is orchids (Orchidaceae). However, there is no data that explains the diversity of orchid plants in Bonjol District, so researchers are interested in using this as research. This research aims to find out what types of orchids are found in Bonjol District, the diversity index of orchid plants (Orchidaceae) and the dominance index of the most dominant orchid plants in Bonjol District, West Sumatra. The research was carried out using an exploratory method with direct observation of orchid plants in the field. The sampling method used was purposive sampling, namely taking samples with certain considerations. Sampling was carried out at 2 stations, namely residential areas and forests. Data analysis used the Shannon-Wiener diversity index. The research results showed that the diversity of orchid species (Orchidaceae) in Bonjol District, West Sumatra was classified as moderate, with a total Shannon-Wiener diversity index H' = 1.4117. In Bonjol District, West Sumatra, there are 31 types of orchids from 17 genera, the most frequently found species are Bulbophyllum gibbosum with 35 individuals, while the species found least frequently are Nervelia crociformis and Eria discolor, each with 2 individuals. Then, in the results of calculating the dominance index value for orchids (Orchidaceae) in Bonjol District, West Sumatra, the result was D= 0.044, which means that no species dominates.

Abstract

Bunga bangkai (Amorphophallus titanum (Becc.) Becc.) merupakan salah satu jenis tumbuhan endemik yang ditemukan di TNGL dengan status terancam (endangered) berdasarkan IUCN. Disamping itu, (Amorphophallus titanum (Becc.) Becc.) juga telah masuk daftar tumbuhan di lindungi di Indonesia berdasarkan peraturan kementerian lingkungan hidup dan kehutanan republik Indonesi sejak 2018. Populasi bunga bangkai (Amorphophallus titanum (Becc.) Becc.) di alam telah mengalami penurunan pada beberapa tahun terakhir akibat deforestasi dan kerusakan habitat terutama aktivitas alih fungsi lahan hutan menjadi lahan pertanian, perkebunan, dan pemukiman. Tujuannya adalah untuk mendukung upaya konservasi berkelanjutan di Kawasan Ekowisata Batu Katak, Taman Nasional Gunung Leuser Sumatra Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksplorasi dan menggunakan modeling distribusi geografis maxent. Hasil penelitian ditemukan sebanyak 12 individu Amorphophallus titanum, dan setelah di lakukan permodelan maxent menunjukkan bahwasannya faktor lingkungan yang paling berpengaruh ialah suhu rata rata kuartal terbasah dengan nilai ambang batas 15-20 oC Kata kunci : Amorphophallus titanum, karakteristik , Distribusi Geografis

Abstract

The lack of knowledge and skills among the community, particularly the Mekar Jaya group in Seruway village, has resulted in the limited utilization of tofu dregs waste, which is primarily used as supplementary livestock feed. In fact, tofu dregs still contain sufficient nutrients to be used as a formulation ingredient for making floating fish pellets. The Mekar Jaya group already possesses village assets such as fish breeding ponds and fish pellet production machines, but fish farmers are still purchasing fish pellets for their fish farming. This community service activity aims to train fish farmers to process tofu dregs waste into fish pellet formulations, as well as to conduct hands-on training in producing floating fish pellets using the fish pellet machine. The method applied in this community service activity involves a structured training approach. Overall, the results of the community service activity show positive achievements. The Mekar Jaya farmer group has demonstrated independence in preparing floating fish feed formulations. They have also shown innovation and creativity in making floating feed and have begun independently producing the floating fish feed they learned through this training. The impact can be seen in the increased enthusiasm and motivation of the farming group in participating in the training provided

Abstract

Oral health is one of the impacts that affect children's development in brain development, one of the oral health is dental health, dental health awareness needs to be reviewed from the environmental, educational, and public awareness aspects with treatment and prevention. These aspects are interrelated and influence each other, prevention and dental care of the community, especially children. Dental caries can be prevented early if there is participation from the family and the surrounding environment of Sukaramai Dua Village, which is a village in Aceh Tamiang, has a population of 2,776 with 820 active school children and 540 children under 7 years old. Among them have problems with oral health, especially dental problems. Based on the problems faced by partners, the Community Service team offers solutions, namely (1) Conducting counseling to Sukaramai Dua Community partners on the importance of maintaining dental health, especially for preschool children (2) Providing training to preschool children in cleaning their teeth properly. The method of implementing activities includes three main stages, namely field surveys, stage two socialization, stage three training. It is hoped that there will be an increase in knowledge and awareness of oral health, especially dental health which affects brain development in preschool children in Sukaramai Dua Village, Aceh Tamiang.
