Abstract

Musculoskeletal complaints are pain experienced in the joints, nerves, tissues, muscles, and the spinal column, often resulting from prolonged static postures, work postures, and repetitive movements. The objective of this study was to analyze ergonomic factors that influence musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) among office workers. This research employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The study population consisted of administrative workers, with a sample of 42 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires to measure the duration of static postures and repetitive movements, the Rapid Office Strain Assessment (ROSA) instrument to evaluate working postures, and the Nordic Body Map (NBM) to assess musculoskeletal complaints. The results indicated that the majority of respondents (66.7%) engaged in static postures for more than one hour per day. The variable of duration working in static postures showed a significant p-value of 0.014, indicating a statistically significant effect on the incidence of MSDs. The Odds Ratio (Exp(B)) was 10.205, suggesting that workers who maintain static postures for more than one hour are 10.2 times more likely to experience musculoskeletal complaints compared to those with static postures lasting one hour or less. The variable of working posture yielded a p-value of 0.008, demonstrating a significant influence of working posture on MSDs. The Odds Ratio (Exp(B)) was 12.135, indicating that workers with hazardous working postures have a 12.1 times higher risk of experiencing MSDs compared to those with non-hazardous postures. It is recommended that workers avoid prolonged static postures to maintain the health of the musculoskeletal system.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of Arabic language learning at MTs Ali Imron Bandar Selamat School using a case study approach. The main focus of this study is to identify the effectiveness of the teaching methods applied, as well as to determine the obstacles faced by teachers and students in the learning process. This study was conducted using qualitative research methods and a case study approach. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation related to learning activities. Furthermore, the researcher will analyze the data and test its validity. The results of the study indicate that although there have been significant efforts in implementing communication methods and contextual approaches, there are still several challenges that hinder the success of Arabic language learning. These challenges include limited learning facilities, lack of student motivation, and limited time available to study Arabic material thoroughly. Based on these findings, it is recommended that learning facilities be improved, further training for teachers, and the development of a curriculum that is more in accordance with student needs. This study is expected to contribute to the development of the quality of Arabic language learning at MTs Ali Imron Bandar Selamat and similar schools.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate the concept of Maqasid of Harmony through a critical analysis of the Ministry of Religious Affairs' document Trilogy of Harmony, Volume II. The research begins with the critique that harmony in Indonesia is often reduced to mere tolerance or social etiquette, which, in a pluralistic society, may still conceal subtle forms of domination. By integrating philosophical inquiry with the framework of Maqasid al-Shari‘ah, this study explores how the paradigm of harmony can be shifted from passive tolerance toward relationships grounded in love and recognition. The findings reveal that a maqasid-oriented notion of harmony comprises three essential dimensions: human-human relations (hifẓ al-ummah), human-environment relations (hifẓ al-bi'ah), and spiritual relations with God. The novelty of this research lies in demonstrating that safeguarding diversity and the environment is an integral part of preserving religion (hifẓ al-din) and human life (hifẓ al-nafs), thereby positioning harmony as a normative bridge between revealed values and contemporary social realities.

Abstract

Adolescence is a transitional period characterized by puberty, involving biological, psychological, and social changes toward adulthood. A lack of proper understanding of puberty may cause confusion and negative attitudes among adolescents, especially when reproductive health topics are still considered taboo. This community service activity aimed to improve adolescents’ understanding of puberty as a natural process and to foster positive attitudes and self-confidence in facing bodily changes. The activity was conducted on December 16, 2025, at SMP Dharma Pancasila Medan, involving eighth-grade students as participants. A descriptive qualitative approach was applied using participatory educational methods, including health education sessions, interactive discussions, ice-breaking activities, and quizzes. The results showed that participants were enthusiastic and actively engaged throughout the activity. Adolescents demonstrated improved understanding of puberty and reproductive health and felt more comfortable asking questions and discussing related topics. This activity indicates that communicative and adolescent-appropriate reproductive health promotion is effective in enhancing adolescents’ knowledge and positive attitudes toward puberty

Abstract

This research discusses the relevance and challenges of al-‘Urf and al-‘Adah in the context of rapid fintech development and globalization. Al-‘Urf, the commonly accepted customs within society, and al-‘Adah, local traditional practices, serve as secondary sources of law in Islam that provide flexibility in adapting Sharia law to social and economic changes. The advancement of technology and globalization has created new dynamics in economic practices that do not always align with classical Islamic law. Challenges such as cashless transactions, peer-to-peer lending, and digital investments often require new assessments through the principles of al-‘Urf and al-‘Adah to remain by Sharia. This research uses a qualitative approach through interviews and literature studies to identify the relevance, challenges, and solutions for applying al-‘Urf and al-‘Adah in the digital context. The research findings indicate cross-sector collaboration between scholars, academics, and business practitioners is necessary to establish adaptive Sharia standards. By recognizing new practices that do not contradict Islamic principles, al-‘Urf and al-‘Adah have the potential to strengthen justice and ethics in fintech transactions, as well as support the sustainability of the sharia economy in the global era.

Abstract

This research aims to formulate strategies to increase the market share of Islamic banks in Indonesia through the optimization of Third Party Funds (DPK) and financing, which are the main internal factors supporting the growth of Islamic banking. Based on the background, the low market share of Islamic banks is caused by several main issues, such as limited technology, low product innovation, lack of Islamic financial literacy, and suboptimal data protection. This research uses the Analytic Network Process (ANP) method, which involves expert respondents from regulators, academics, practitioners, and the community. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, questionnaires, and analysis using Super Decision software. The research results indicate that priority solutions to increase market share include technological updates, enhanced literacy through education and collaboration between institutions, as well as synergy among stakeholders. The main strategies proposed include strengthening synergy and collaboration, enhancing technological innovation, and expanding sharia financial literacy. This research makes a significant contribution in identifying problems, solutions, and relevant strategies to support the development of Islamic banking in Indonesia. The results are expected to serve as a reference for regulators, Islamic banking, academics, and the community in promoting the sustainable growth of the Islamic finance industry.

Abstract

Background: The global Muslim population reached 26% in 2020 and is projected to reach 34% by 2070, driving significant demand for halal tourism. Indonesia, as the country with the largest Muslim population, possesses enormous potential for Sharia tourism development, yet faces challenges including unclear regulations, limited facilities, and low public awareness of halal certification. In Aceh, only two out of 84 accommodation units have obtained halal certification despite many claiming to operate on Sharia principles. Method: This study employed a quantitative approach with explanatory and correlational research design. A sample of 600 respondents was selected using simple random sampling from star-rated hotels in Banda Aceh. Data were collected through closed questionnaires with a 1-5 Likert scale. Data analysis utilized Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) using SmartPLS 4.0 software. Results: The results indicate that all branding variables—Brand Salience, Brand Meaning, Brand Response, Brand Resonance—and the Role of Government have significant positive influences on Sharia tourism development (p-value < 0.05). Brand Resonance demonstrated the strongest influence (path coefficient 0.321), followed by the Role of Government (0.289). The model showed good goodness of fit with SRMR 0.035 and NFI 0.926. Conclusion: The conclusion emphasizes that strong halal accommodation branding and government support through regulation and oversight are essential keys to positioning Aceh as a leading destination in the global halal tourism industry.

Abstract

Adolescent reproductive health is a critical public health issue, especially in conservative Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) where cultural and religious norms often restrict open discussion. Data from the WHO and the National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) indicate high rates of unintended pregnancy and a significant knowledge gap among female students regarding menstruation, STIs, and self-protection. At Madrasah Ulumul Quran Bustanul Ulum Langsa, Aceh, the absence of an integrated reproductive health curriculum has resulted in inadequate student knowledge. This community service project aimed to enhance santri (students') understanding of reproductive health and empower them as peer educators to disseminate information, reduce stigma, and strengthen the pesantren's role. A key objective was to create safe spaces for dialogue and improve girls' communication skills on reproductive issues. The program employed the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) methodology, commencing with appreciative inquiry and asset mapping, followed by peer educator training, simulations, and pretest-posttest monitoring and evaluation. It involved 30 female santri selected via total sampling. Data were analyzed using a Dependent t-Test with JASP 16 software. The implemented strategy featured active engagement of students, caregivers, and educators, the development of digital and print educational media, and cross-sectoral collaboration. Santri were trained to convey materials in a contextual and culturally appropriate manner. Results indicated a highly significant improvement in attitudes (p < .001) post-intervention, while knowledge levels, already high at baseline, remained stable. The program's implications include fostering a more open pesantren environment for reproductive health education, strengthening santri capacity as change agents, and nurturing a generation that is health-conscious, responsible, and resilient.

Abstract

The present study intends to examine the influence of the halal business and Sharia financial assets on economic growth in Indonesia. The research method requires a quantitative methodology. Research data was acquired in time series form from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Financial Services Authority (OJK), and State of the Global Islamic Economy Report (SGIE). The VAR approach is used for analysis once the data is interpolated monthly. The findings in this research suggest a favorable and significant association between the halal industry and economic growth in Indonesia in the short term. Meanwhile, Islamic financial assets significantly affect economic growth in Indonesia. According to the results of the Granger causality test, a one-way causal relationship exists between economic development in Indonesia and the halal industry. The research results demonstrate that the halal industry is essential in supporting economic growth in Indonesia. With this research, the halal industry and Sharia financial assets can improve Indonesia's economic growth by increasing the halal sector.
