Abstract

In the perspective of religious thought, Muhammadiyah is often seen as an ambiguous Islamic mass organization. For example, in matters of worship, Muhammadiyah is very consistent in using the Bayani approach in understanding religious texts, but to determine the beginning of the lunar month associated with a time of worship, Muhammadiyah tends to use the Burhani approach. As a consequence, Muhammadiyah is often considered conservative, but at the same time also considered liberal. This perception does not arise if the methodology of religious thought in Muhammadiyah is comprehensively understood. Therefore, this study assessed the typological thinking in Muhammadiyah. A qualitative method was used for describing the characteristics of an individual, circumstances, symptoms, or certain groups based on the phenomenon of the problem reviewed in a comprehensive and depth way. There are three typologies of religious thought in Muhammadiyah, namely conservative typology, liberal typology, and moderate typology.

Abstract

Abstract:  One of the triggers of intragamous conflict is differences in understanding in furuk issues such as tahlilan, barzanji, maulid, talkin, kunut dawn, and others. The purpose of the study was to determine efforts to prevent intrareligious conflicts using the qath'i zhanni paradigm as the epistemology of multicultural Islamic Education. Research method with qualitative approach. Processing of research data through literature or literature studies. Data analysis in research consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The research results that the root of the problem is the inability of these two groups to distinguish between cultural-empirical and normative-doctrinaire religious teachings. To bridge the gap in understanding, the author offers the qath'i zhanni paradigm commonly used by Islamic legal theorists. With the use of this approach model, it is hoped that there will be mutual understanding and mutual respect between the two groups towards the diversity of interpretations in understanding religious texts.Abstrak: Salah satu  pemicu konflik intragama adalah perbedaan pemahaman dalam masalah furuk seperti tahlilan, barzanji, maulid, talkin, kunut subuh, dan lainnya. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui upaya pencegahan konflik intragama menggunakan paradigma  qath’i zhanni sebagai epistemologi Pendidikan Islam multikultural. Metode penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengolahan data penelitian melalui studi pustaka atau literatur. Analisis data dalam penelitian terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian bahwa akar masalahnya adalah pada ketidakmampuan kedua kelompok ini untuk membedakan mana yang ajaran agama yang bersifat kultural-empiris dan  normatif-doktriner. Untuk menjembatani kesenjangan pemahaman tersebut penulis menawarkan paradigma qath’i  zhanni yang biasa dipakai oleh para teoritisi hukum Islam. Dengan penggunaan model pendekatan ini diharapkan terjadi saling pengertian dan saling menghargai antara kedua kelompok terhadap keragaman interpretsi dalam memahami teks-teks keagamaan.

Abstract

Abstract:  The purpose of this study is to improve the effectiveness of Wordwall media on the learning outcomes of SMAN 4 Mataram students. The research method uses quantitative and qualitative approaches (mixed method). This type of research is classroom follow-up research with research stages consisting of planning, implementing actions, observation and reflection. Research instruments with tests, observations and questionnaires. Research data obtained from pretest and posttest in the form of percentage of each respondent's total score and average. The results showed that there was an increase in learning outcomes with the application of Wordwall media, this was evidenced by the learning outcomes on the posttest, namely the percentage of students who completed by 83% and the percentage of students who did not complete by 17%.Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan efektivitas media Wordwall terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMAN 4 Mataram. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif (mixed method). Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakn kelas dengan tahapan penelitian terdiri dari Perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Instrumen penelitian dengan tes, observasi dan angket. Data penelitian yang diperoleh dari pretest dan posttest dalam bentuk persentase skor total masing-masing responden dan rata-rata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar dengan penerapan media Wordwall, hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil belajar pada posttest yaitu persentase siswa yang tuntas sebesar 83% dan persentase siswa yang tidak tuntas sebesar 17%.

Abstract

Abstrak: Nusa Tenggara Timur memiliki kekayaan alam dan juga keanekaragaman budaya serta adat istiadat seperti provinsi lain di Indonesia. Keanekaragaman tersebut diantaranya adalah keanekaragaman budaya, alam, kuliner serta peninggalan-peninggalan sejarah yang sangat kental dengan adat serta tradisi-tradisi yang masih dijalankan oleh masyarakat hingga saat ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di Kampung Adat Tutubhada Desa Rendu Tutubhada Kecamatan Aesesa Selatan Kabupaten Nagekeo. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah sumber data primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, di sini peneliti berperan sebagai instrumen kunci. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kampung adat Tutubhada memiliki potensi wisata seperti, bangunan rumah adat yang masih asli, benda-benda peninggalan sejarah disetiap rumah adat dikampung adat Tutubhada, serta mempunyai ritual-ritual adat serta atrakasi-atraksi, seperti, tinju adat, tarian, potong kerbau, dan masih banyak lagi, serta hasil karya kerajinan tangan masyarakat Tutubhada yang mempunyai daya tarik wisata. Kampung Adat Tutubhada memiliki potensi wisata kebudayaan berupa bangunan megalitikum yang masih asli.Abstract: East Nusa Tenggara has natural wealth and also cultural diversity and customs like other provinces in Indonesia. This diversity includes cultural, natural, culinary, and historical relics that are very thick with customs and traditions that are still run by the community to this day. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. The research was conducted in Kampung Adat Tutubhada Rendu Tutubhada Village, South Aesesa District of Nagekeo Regency. The data sources used are primary and secondary. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation, here researchers act as key instruments. Data analysis is carried out through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results showed that the traditional village of Tutubhada has tourism potential such as, traditional house buildings that are still original, historical relics in every traditional house in the Tutubhada traditional village, and has traditional rituals and attractions, such as, customary boxing, dance, buffalo cutting, and many more, as well as the handicrafts of the Tutubhada people who have tourist attractions. Kampung Adat Tutubhada has the potential of cultural tourism in the form of megalithic buildings that are still original.

Abstract

Social media is very important to control the development of issues that occur today. With social shifts and changing societal values, polygamy has become a complex issue and attracts the attention of many people around the world discussed through social media platforms. This research contributes to the field by applying a sentiment analysis approach to automatically detect and analyze public sentiment regarding polygamiy content on Twitter, particularly in the context of Islamic-Muhammadiyah views. This study used decision tree classification methods, support vector machines, and random forests with the best analysis accuracy obtained at SVM 77.4%. Furthermore, the results of the sentiment class obtained were analyzed according to the views of Muhammadiyah. The results obtained in the analysis 77% commented negatively and 23% commented positively. In addition, this research can be used as a reference for future research on sentiment analysis cases to training and testing classroom models.

Abstract

educational policies that accommodate the diverse religious backgrounds of students at Muhammadiyah Mataram University. Purpose: This study aims to determine how the theological and juridical perspective of the AIK learning policy for non-Muslim students at Muhammadiyah Mataram University (Ummat). There are 2 focuses of this research, namely how theological and juridical perspective of the AIK learning policy for non-Muslim students at Ummat.  Method: To achieve the intended goal, data collection is carried out using literature studies or literature. All data collected in this study will be analyzed using interactive analysis techniques proposed by Miles and Haberman which consists of three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Result: The results of the research obtained information that in the theological review of the AIK learning policy for non-Muslim students is appropriate because they include ummat dakwah. Conclusion: Likewise, in the juridical perspective, this policy does not conflict with the applicable laws and regulations, because of 3 things, namely Ummat is an Educational Institution with Distinctive Religious Characteristics; they follow AIK learning willingly without any coercion; and AIK learning is used as a medium for intellectual processing and comparative material with the religion they profess

Abstract

Abstrak Radikal terorisme masih menjadi ancaman dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara. Meskipun sepanjang tahun 2023 hingga Oktober 2024 aksi terorisme nihil, tetapi konsildasi dan propaganda mereka di bawah tanah tetap berjalan nelalui berbagai instrumen yang ada. Hampir semua lini dan elemen masyarakat telah menjadi sasaran dan target mereka. Telah terjadi pergeseran pola aksi mereka dari gerakan hard approach ke soft approach. Kondisi ini harus terus disosialisasikan dan disuarakan ke tengah masyarakat, terutama kepada tokoh muda. Oleh karena itu, tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk melakukan penguatan resiliensi tokoh muda dalam mengahadapi radikal terorisme di ITSKes Muhammadiyah Selong Lombok Timur Nusa Tenggara Barat. Kegiatan ini bermitra dengan BNPT, FKPT dan ITSKes Muhammadiyah Selong dengan menghadirkan peserta kegiatan dari tokoh muda dari berbagai latar belakang di ITSKes Muhammadiyah Selong. Kegiatan ini menggunakan pendekatan service learning dengan metode training, dialog interaktif, dan workshop. Evaluasi dan refleksi dilakukan melalui kuesioner. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan hasil yang positif, dimana para pemuda memiliki kesadaran yang kuat terhadap ancaman radikal terorisme. Melalui kegiatan ini mereka mengetahui eksistensi jaringan radikal terorisme di dunia, Indonesia, dan khususnya di NTB, serta dapat memperkuat resiliensi menghadapi ancaman tersebut. Kata kunci: resiliensi; radikal; terorisme; hard approach; soft approach Abstract Radical terrorism is still a threat to the life of the nation. Although throughout 2023 until October 2024 there were zero acts of terrorism, their underground consolidation and propaganda continued through various existing instruments. Almost all lines and elements of society have become their targets. There has been a shift in their pattern of action from hard approach to soft approach. This condition must continue to be socialized and voiced to the community, especially to young leaders. Therefore, the aim of this activity is to strengthen the resilience of young leaders in dealing with radical terrorism in ITSKes Muhammadiyah Selong East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. This activity partnered with BNPT, FKPT and ITSKes Muhammadiyah Selong by presenting participants from young figures from various backgrounds at ITSKes Muhammadiyah Selong. This activity uses a service learning approach with training, interactive dialog, and workshop methods. Evaluation and reflection were conducted through questionnaires. The results of this community service show positive results, where the youth have a strong awareness of the threat of radical terrorism. Through this activity they know the existence of radical terrorism networks in the world, Indonesia, and especially in NTB, and can strengthen resilience to face these threats. Keywords: resilience; radical; terrorism; hard approach; soft approach.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                            Program pemberdayaan yang dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan pendampingan dan pembinaan sejauh ini belum berhasil mendorong kemandirian masyarakat pesisir dalam melanjutkan inisiatif pengelolaan yang telah dirintis bersama pihak pemerintah maupun swasta. Umumnya, keterlibatan masyarakat hanya tampak pada tahap awal, yakni perencanaan dan pelaksanaan, sementara aspek evaluasi, monitoring, dan keberlanjutan program belum mampu dikelola secara mandiri. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dan pengetahuan masyarakat terkait pengelolaan Ekowisata Mangrove di Desa Lembar Selatan, Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dengan beberapa tahapan, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, kunjungan lapangan ke kawasan ekowisata, dan evaluasi. Peserta yang terlibat berjumlah 20 orang meliputi kelompok pengelola dan konservasi, mahasiswa, serta perwakilan dari lembaga swadaya masyarakat sebagai mitra kegiatan. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan penyuluhan, diperoleh temuan bahwa kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif, tercermin dari tingginya partisipasi masyarakat dalam diskusi. Penyuluhan telah memperluas pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pentingnya pengelolaan ekosistem mangrove secara berkelanjutan. Masyarakat mulai menyadari bahwa mangrove memiliki nilai ekonomi sekaligus peran strategis dalam menjaga kelestarian lingkungan, khususnya melalui pemanfaatan jasa lingkungan seperti ekowisata. Pemahaman ini sejalan dengan kebijakan pemerintah dalam upaya pelestarian lingkungan pesisir demi keberlanjutan kehidupan yang bergantung pada keseimbangan ekosistem. Kata kunci: Ekowisata; Penyuluhan; Pemberdayaan Masyarakat; Pengelolaan Mangrove. ABSTRACTEmpowerment programs implemented through mentoring and coaching activities have so far not succeeded in encouraging the independence of coastal communities in continuing management initiatives that have been initiated with the government and the private sector. Generally, community involvement is only seen in the early stages, namely planning and implementation, while aspects of evaluation, monitoring, and program sustainability have not been able to be managed independently. Therefore, this community service activity aims to increase community capacity and knowledge related to Mangrove Ecotourism management in Lembar Selatan Village, West Lombok Regency. This activity was carried out through a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with several stages, namely preparation, implementation, field visits to ecotourism areas, and evaluation. The participants involved totaled 20 people including management and conservation groups, students, and representatives from non-governmental organizations as activity partners.. Based on the results of the implementation of counseling activities, it was found that this activity had a positive impact, reflected in the high participation of the community in the discussion. The counseling has broadened the community's understanding of the importance of sustainable mangrove ecosystem management. The community began to realize that mangroves have economic value as well as a strategic role in preserving the environment, especially through the use of environmental services such as ecotourism. This understanding is in line with government policies in efforts to preserve the coastal environment for the sake of sustainability. Keywords: Counseling; Community Empowerment; Ecotourism; Mangrove Management.

Abstract

This paper discusses about the modernization of education conducted by Muhammadiyah at the beginning of the 20th century circa 1911-1932. The modernization was initiated by the founde of Muhammadiyah Kiyai Haji Ahmad Dahlan, indeed effected by religious social conditions of Moslems at that moment which is still lagging behind in all aspects of life. For Muhammadiyah, to solve the problem is modernization of education. Themodernization of education conducted by Muhammadiyah is a way of adapting the educational system of Netherlands in Islamic education. The form of the model of Muhammadiyah school is same as the model of Netherland school. The term of Aziyumardi Azra , referred to as “public school (Netherlands) plus” orStreenbrink referred to as “Ultra Conservative”. In that new and modern school, in addition to religious studies, taught public lessons; the instruments of the study adopted directly as how Netherlands learning. Applied level system and school payment from students. As well as he most phenomenal is the teachers have been given incentives in the form of salary. All of this things, which we now see as something that is good, at that moment it is something very new, strange and even overwhelming.

Abstract

Pengelolaan potensi Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) dan Pimpinan Cabang Muhammadiyah (PCM) Kuripan dalam mendukung program masih rendah. Tujuan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendalami potensi local BUMDes dan PCM Kuripan Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Metode digunakan adalah Metode digunakan adalah sosialisasi. Kegiatan  pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan diantaranya: 1) Persiapan tim pengabdian 2) pelaksanaan kegiatan, 3) evaluasi, berupa feed back terhadap kegiatan. Hasil dan pemabahasan adalah Pelatihan ini telah memberikan kontribusi cukup baik dalam meningkatkan kapasitas pengelola BUMDes dan PCM Kuripan. Dimna mampu memahami dalam mengelola potensi ekonomi desa melalui BUMDes dan PCM secara lebih efektif. Keberhasilan pelatihan ini tercermin dari peningkatan pemahaman peserta yang diperoleh. landasan bagi keberlanjutan program penguatan BUMDes dan PCM Kuripan dalam mendorong sinergi antara akademisi, pemerintah, masyarakat dan Mitra BEI dalam mendukung pembangunan ekonomi desa lebih mandiri dan berkelanjutan.
