Abstract

Kota Bitung sebagai salah satu kawasan strategis dan pusat perekonomian di Sulawesi Utara, berpotensi terdampak oleh bencana tsunami karena berada di pesisir Laut Maluku yang bisa menjadi lokasi pusat gempabumi besar pemicu tsunami. Untuk mengetahui potensi area terdampak dan waktu tiba tsunami di wilayah Bitung, dilakukan pemodelan penjalaran tsunami dengan skenario gempabumi Mw 7,9 dengan episenter di Laut Maluku menggunakan perangkat lunak TUNAMI-N2 (Tohoku University’s Numerical Analysis Model Investigation of Tsunami No 2). Data yang digunakan berupa parameter skenario gempabumi pembangkit dan data elevasi. Data elevasi terdiri dari data topografi primer hasil pengukuran lapangan menggunakan altimeter digital dan data sekunder berupa data batimetri dari GEBCO (General Bathymetric Chart of The Ocean) dan data topografi daratan SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topographic Mission) dari USGS (United States Geological Survey). Hasil pemodelan menunjukkan bahwa tsunami pertama kali mencapai di wilayah Bitung tepatnya di pantai timur Pulau Lembeh pada detik ke-520 setelah gempabumi. Ketinggian maksimum tsunami bisa mencapai 7,625 meter, sedangkan inundasi terjauh dan potensi area tergenang masing-masing mencapai 750 meter dan 2,1 km2. Lokasi dengan tingkat bahaya tertinggi ada di sebelah barat Pelabuhan Bitung karena topografi yang landai dan berhadapan dengan perairan yang berbentuk teluk sehingga terjadi amplifikasi gelombang. Pantai yang berbentuk teluk ini juga menyebabkan gelombang tertinggi terjadi pada gelombang yang kedua.

Abstract

The main purpose of this research is to study the microstructure and thermal properties of geopolymers by adding ZnO as a functional composite. Functional composite materials synthesized by alkali activation, using metalempung as the base material and ZnO as aggregate. ZnO was synthesized from ZnSO4 using the precipitation method. The addition of ZnO mass in geopolymer paste was varied from 0.10g; 0.20g; and 0.30g. X-Ray Difraction (XRD) was used to determine the phase formed in functional composite material. The thermal characteristic of the samples was examined by means of Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). The results showed that the composition of ZnO did have a significant effect on changes in microstructure sample. Functional composite materials also had entalphy change and exsoterm peak smaller than sample geopolymer

Abstract

The COVID-19 virus is one of several viruses that have hit the world so widely and evenly that it has had an impact on the world of education. Under these circumstances, education must continue to be carried out remotely. Education using ICT media and internet networks is one way to overcome distance education. The use of online learning media can make students more independent and experience different experiences when learning through video, audio and text. For physical education it will give more challenge when physical assesment have to carried out for measuring student physical achievement. Balance as physical fitness was the subject of this study that will be measure with a modificated standing stork test. The standing stork test can allegedly be carried out boldly. The homogeneity test obtains a significance value of 0.886 which has a value greater than 0.05, so it can be interpreted that the data distribution is homogeneous or comes from populations that have the same variance. To test the validity using the product moment correlation test, a significance value of 0.001 is obtained which has a value less than 0.05 so that online and offline data can be said to be valid. Because the data is not normally distributed, the parametric test cannot be carried out so that the non-parametric test is bound using the Wilcoxon test for its reliability test. A significance value of 0.112 was obtained for the right leg and 0.223 for the left leg which was greater than 0.05 so that it meant that there was no significant difference between online and offline implementation.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the factors leading to siltation in Lake Limboto by analyzing its morphometric characteristics gathered through direct field measurements and remote sensing using Geographic Information System (GIS). Lake Limboto covers an approximate surface area of 26.09 square kilometers, boasts a maximum depth of 4 meters, and maintains an average depth of 2.83 meters. The Shoreline Development Index (SDI) stands at approximately 2.57, indicating an irregular shape of the lake's water body, while the Lake Volume Development (VD) index, at 2.12, suggests a generally flat lake bottom. The Relative Depth (Zr) registers at around 0.69%, as observed from the water turbidity level. The lakebed relief in the vicinity of the lake's periphery is predominantly flat and shallow, particularly in the western, northern, and southern regions, with depths measuring less than 2 meters. In contrast, the lakebed relief in the central and eastern sections tends to be less flat but still features depths of less than 4 meters. Siltation in Lake Limboto primarily results from high sediment input originating from erosion processes, agricultural activities, and settlements in the surrounding area.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFAE) terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa SMP Negeri 9 Kendari. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 9 Kendari yang terdiri 371 siswa dengan 1 kelas unggulan dan 10 kelas paralel. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan metode purposive serta penentuan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol secara acak diperoleh kelas VIII.6 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII.10 sebagai kelas kontro. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes uraian dan dianalisis dengan pendekatan statistika deskriptif untuk merangkum gambaran kemampuan siswa dan statistika inferensial untuk penarikkan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model kooperatif tipe SFAE memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa (67,27) melampaui siswa yang menerima model PBL (62,12). Kesimpulan penelitian ini mendukung pandangan bahwa model kooperatif tipe SFAE dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa SMP Negeri 9 Kendari.

Abstract

This study was conducted in January 2020, located in Api-api Village, Bandar Laksamana District, Bengkalis. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the total organic of sediment content on the density of bamboo clam (S. lamarckii), in the intertidal zone. The method used in this study was a survey method. The results show that the content of organic sediment was relatively low with an average of 1.28%. The density of bamboo clam that ia found mostly in subzone 1 with the number 25 ind. The most frequent distribution of bamboo clam sizes is in the range of 5.0-5.4 cm with 56 inds. The relationship of organic sediment content with the density of bamboo clam is very weak with r = 0.1519 and R2 = 2.31%

Abstract

Abstrak. Kompensasi dan lingkungan kerja merupakan dua faktor yang sangat penting yang mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja karyawan di suatu perusahaan. Karyawan yang merasa diapresiasi dan diberi kompensasi yang adil cenderung merasa puas terhadap kinerja mereka di tempat mereka bekerja. Selain itu, tempat kerja yang kondusif dan kooperatif dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan karyawan dan meningkatkan efektivitas sehingga menimbulkan kepuasan kerja karyawan itu sendiri. Penelitian ini berupaya untuk mengetahui dampak kompensasi dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur melalui teknik pengumpulan data kepustakaan, membaca dan mencatat, serta pengolahan bahan penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka hasil artikel tinjauan pustaka menyatakan bahwa lingkungan kerja dan kompensasi berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan Kata Kunci : Kompensasi, Lingkungan Kerja, dan Kepuasan Karyawan.

Abstract

Bitung district was an active seismic area in North Sulawesi Province. This is because of platetectonic activity, among other things, subduction of West Molucca Sea and subduction of NorthSulawesi Trench that can cause earthquake disaster. Earthquake is an unpredictable disaster thatcan pose a danger to a region. So the purpose of the research is to minimize the impact of theearthquake disaster. The study conducted with study of the earthquake hazard analytics usingprobability approaches with 500-year-old return period, probability exceeded 10% in 50 years ofbuilding age in condition T= 0 second, T= 0.2 second and T= 0.1 second. PSHA’s calculation in theBitung region were obtained at PGA value of the same amount 1.4g – 1.8g, SA value T= 0.2 secondis 1,7g-2,1g and SA value T= 1,0 second is 0,5-0,6g. as for the turbulence of the result of teconversion of the PGA value being on the VIII-IX MMI scale which means it can cause a seriousrisk of damage to the building.

Abstract

In this study, we determined the accurate hypocenter location of November 15, 2019, the Molucca Sea earthquake aftershocks using the Modified Joint Hypocenter Determination (MJHD) method. This method calculated the hypocenter and seismic station correction simultaneously using the seismic wave travel time inversion. The P and S wave arrival time at each station from the BMKG database was used in this study. After relocated, most of the aftershocks hypocenter categorized as shallow and medium depth earthquakes with the range of focal depth between 25-150 km.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the concept and management of Telaga Alam swimming pools and how Telaga Alam swimming pools apply the DSN-MUI fatwa. The research method used is qualitative and descriptive. The types of data used are primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through interviews with the pool manager and one pool employee and three swimming pool visitors. The secondary data was obtained through literature related to the concept and management of swimming pools. The results of this study indicate that the concept and management of the Telaga Alam swimming pool has several facilities in it such as a separate swimming pool for men and women, a canteen that provides halal food and drinks, and other facilities such as: pavilion, and a therapy pool. fish. However, there needs to be an improvement in the management of the Telaga Alam swimming pool to meet halal aspects, as regulated in the DSN-MUI for example the separation of fish therapy pools between men and women as well as providing proper worship facilities. Thus, this research is expected to provide an overview of the concept and management of halal tourism in the Telaga Alam swimming pool area or in other areas in accordance with Sharia or the DSN-MUI fatwa.
