Abstract

Pulau Baai Port is a crucial resource used as the main sea transportation route for some commodities and goods needed by principals when traveling to or from Bengkulu. Data collection was carried out at three stations The method used to determine stations is purposive sampling. Water quality data collection was also carried out at the three stations. The fish identification method is carried out by looking at morphological characteristics to facilitate classification using the Marine Fishes of the south identification book. A total of 18 species of fish found in the waters of the City of Bengkulu landed at the port Pulau Baai namely white pomfret fish (Pampus argenteus), black pomfret fish (Parastromateus niger), mackerel fish (Scomberomorini), mujair fish (Oreochromis mossambicus), beledang fish (Trichiurus lepturus), next fish (Pleuronectiformes), manyung fish (Arius thalassinus ), kerong kerong fish (Terapon jarbua), sea cork fish (Channa striata), big eye tuba fish (Thunnus obesus), mullet fish (Moolgarda seheli), anchovies (Engraulidae), mackerel fish (Scomberomorini), beleberan fish (Opisthopterus tardoore), Cladi fish (Osphronemus goramy), Kape-kape fish (Pentaprion longimanus), Gulamo fish (Johnius trachycephalus), and Sengin fish (Eleutheronema tetradactylumThen, from the results of calculating the diversity index at these three stations, the values range from 2.46-2.07, (medium). It can be concluded that the results of the ecological analysis at the three stations have moderate diversity with a uniform composition and no species dominates.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the increase in creative thinking skills of secondary school students through the application of the PjBL model with a STEAM approach to energy materials in living systems. This research uses a true experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study was all class VII students. The sample selection used a simple random sampling technique so that one experimental class was selected which applied the PjBL model with the STEAM approach and one control class which applied the conventional learning model. Data collection was carried out through creative thinking skills test questions and observation sheets. Posttest data on students' creative thinking skills were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney test, and observation sheets were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of the analysis using the N-gain test in the control class obtained a value of 47,4 in the medium category and the experimental class with an N-gain of 71 in the high category. It can be concluded that there is a significant increase in students' creative thinking skilss after learning using the PjBL model with the STEAM approach in learning Energy in Living Systems.Keywords: project based learning, steam, creative thinking skills, energy in living systems

Abstract

This research aims to develop the electronic student worksheets (E-LKPD) Pendap Bengkulu based on Discovery Learning as a Learning Media for Additive Material in Science lesson content for class VIII SMP. This study used the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate), which was limited to the development stage with limited trials conducted at SMPN 03 Bengkulu City, with a sample of 33 students from class VIII.1. To collect data, several questionnaires were distributed to media experts, material experts, participants, and students. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistical analysis techniques using percentage analysis. The results of the research showed that the feasibility test of E-LKPD involving 3 material experts, 2 media experts, and 2 participants resulted in an 92.3% percentage of validation test results, and it can be said that E-LKPD Pendap Bengkulu, which was developed as a learning medium for additive material for junior high school students, was very feasible to use. Analysis of student readability of E-LKPD Pendap Bengkulu as a learning medium for additive material for junior high school students resulted in a percentage of 89.8% readability response, indicating that E-LKPD is very well applied to junior high school students in grade VIII.

Abstract

Makroinvertebrata merupakan organisme tidak bertulang belakang yang memiliki ukuran kasat mata, memiliki habitat di darat, dalam  tanah, perairan meliputi air laut dan tawar. Kelompok makroinvertebrata di perairan bisa dijadikan bioindikator suatu perairan. Makroinvertebrata di perairan air tawar contohnya kelompok keong air tawar, serangga air, udang dan Clitellata seperti lintah. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Oktober 2023 sampai Januari 2024 menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan leaf litter bags, jaring seser, dan mengambil sedimen dasar perairan menggunakan ember. Pengukuran parameter lingkungan dilakukan meliputi pengukuran intensitas cahaya, suhu air, tingkat keasaman (pH), oksigen terlarut (DO), kedalaman lumpur, dan kedalaman air. Analisis data menggunakan indeks Shannon-Wiener, indeks Eveness dan indeks Simpson. Hasil identifikasi makroinvertebrata menunjukkan terdapat 16 spesies terdiri atas 13 famili dan 4 kelas. Indeks keanekaragaman makroinvertebrata di area kolam konservasi ex-situ kura-kura Siebenrockiella crassicollis Universitas Bengkulu secara umum tekanan ekologis berada pada kondisi tekanan rendah hingga sedang, dapat dilihat pada nilai H’ berkisar antara 0,981 sampai 1,577, indeks keseragaman berkisar antara 0,354 sampai 0,569 dan indeks dominansi berkisar antara 0,342 sampai 0,506. Kelimpahan, keanekaragaman, keseragaman dan dominansi makroinvertebrata dipengaruhi oleh parameter fisika kimia dan kondisi lingkungan.

Abstract

All kinds of plants that are found in nature and have medicinal properties are considered medicinal plants. Utilization of medicinal plants can be used directly and mixed. Battra is a person who has knowledge of traditional medicine and is capable of concocting medicinal plants. North Bengkulu is one of the districts that still use conventional medical care. Utilizing medicinal plants that are proven to be able to treat those derived from natural ingredients can be healthful because of very few side effects compared to drugs that contain chemicals. The goal of the study was to catalog the various medicinal herbs used by Battra North Bengkulu. This study used 10 respondents' interviews as its approach. Battra uses 64 species from 37 families of medicinal plants as traditional medicinal ingredients. The most common type of family is Fabaceae. The habitus group that is widely used is 45% trees. Types of diseases that are commonly treated traditionally using these plants include fever, toothache, itching, cramps, internal heat, scales, stomach pain, malaria, long-term fever, colds (cholera), ulcers, lungs, kidney stones, jaundice, high blood pressure, appendicitis, fussy children, eye disease, intestinal worms, kesapo, sprains, tumors and gout. In the processing of medicinal plants by Battra in North Bengkulu, 11 processes the highest drug processing method was by boiling as much as 37%.

Abstract

The Palak Siring Waterfall is a natural tourism object located in Kemumu Village, Armajaya District, North Bengkulu Regency were the area have variety of vegetation. This research aims to analyze the Terrestrial Fern Diversity in that area. The benefits of ferns in an ecosystem are as one of the pioneer organisms that open and start a new life in an ecosystem, food sources, and planting media. The method used is transect by forming (five) plots based on the slope of the land, consist of flat, sloping, rather steep, steep, and very steep areas. Plot size of 20 x 20 m placed along the transect line. Based on the survey was found 22 species with 13 types of family ferns in the Palak Siring Waterfall. The Diversity Index value of ferns (pteridophyta) belongs to the medium category. This certainly indicates that there is a fern that can adapt to the environment as well as other plants in area. Diversity of fern have the potential to be applied to junior high school science learning through several Basic competencies, materials, and forms of learning activities.

Abstract

Fish have the potential to be contaminated with heavy metals such as lead, which can originate from human activities, industry, and ports. The Bengkulu people have a traditional processing method that is believed to reduce heavy metal content in fish through the immersion of fish in Pendap dishes using water and lemon. This study aims to observe the reduction of heavy metal content in fish during the immersion process using water and lemon juice in Pendap dishes. The research was experimental with positive and negative results and analyzed using the SPSS ANOVA test to see significant differences between treatment groups. The fish used as samples included Tongkol Sarda orentalis, Kembung Rastrelliger kanagurta, Tuna Thunnus albacares, and Tenggiri Scomberomorus Lacepède. The parts of the fish that were analyzed included the muscles, liver, and gills. All samples were exposed to Pb(NO3)2 and divided into 3 treatment groups: 1 positive control, 2 precipitated with water, and 3 precipitated with lemon juice (Citrus limon). The samples were tested using the reagents NaOH, KI, NH4OH, and HCl. Based on the research results, it was found that the application of lemon juice produced significant results in reducing Pb levels, as indicated by the negative test results.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kelayakan produk video sains dan mendekripsikan respon guru terhadap keterbacaan produk video sains pada tema tumbuhan sahabatku. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) model 4D, dengan pembatasan isi pada tahap develop yaitu uji keterbacaan guru secara terbatas. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa observasi, wawancara dan angket. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket (kuisoner) berupa lembar angket kebutuhan, lembar angket validasi, dan lembar angket uji keterbacaan guru. Validasi produk video sains dilakukan oleh validator ahli (3 dosen dan 2 guru SLB 5). Uji keterbacaan produk dilakukan oleh 3 guru SLBN 5 Kota Bengkulu. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli  materi mendapat skor 0,85 dengan persentase 88,33 dalam kategori sangat valid dan sangat layak, Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli  media  mendapat skor 0,93 dengan persentse 95% dalam kategori sangat valid dan sangat layak, Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli  praktisi  mendapat skor 0,91 dengan persentase 93% dalam kategori sangat valid dan sangat layak .Sedangkan hasil uji keterbacaan produk yang dilakukan oleh 3 guru di SLBN 5 Kota Bengkulu terhadap video  sains pada tema tumbuhan sahabatku secara keseluruhan memperoleh persentase rata-rata 80% dalam kategori “Baik”.   Kata kunci : anak tunagrahita, tumbuhan sahabatku, video sains ABSTRACT This research aims to describe the feasibility of science video products and describe teachers' responses to the readability of science video products on the theme of my friend's plants. The type of research used is 4D model research and development, with content restrictions at the develop stage, namely limited teacher readability testing. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and questionnaires. The data collection instruments are in the form of questionnaires in the form of requirements questionnaire sheets, validation questionnaire sheets, and teacher readability test questionnaire sheets. Validation of science video products is carried out by expert validators (3 lecturers and 2 SLB 5 teachers). The product readability test was carried out by 3 SLBN 5 Bengkulu City teachers. Based on the validation results, material experts got a score of 0.85 with a percentage of 88.33 in the very valid and very feasible category. Based on the validation results, media experts got a score of 0.93 with a percentage of 95% in the very valid and very feasible category. Based on the validation results from practitioner experts. received a score of 0.91 with a percentage of 93% in the very valid and very feasible category. Meanwhile, the results of the product readability test carried out by 3 teachers at SLBN 5 Bengkulu City for science videos on the theme of my friend's plants overall obtained an average percentage of 80% in the category "Good". Abstract

ABSTRAK   Studi literatur menunjukkan bahwa ada konsep-konsep fisika dalam permainan tradisional yang dapat diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran fisika. Konsep-konsep tersebut digali melalui penelitian deskriptif dan eksperimen. Penelitian ini menggali dan menganalisis konsep-konsep fisika pada permainan rakyat Bengkulu berbantuan video tracker terutama pada permainan kucing-kucing. Permainan kucing-kucing mirip permainan bekel. Hasil analisis Tracker video permainan kucing-kucing menunjukkan bahwa bola karet lebih mudah dan lebih baik digunakan dalam permainan. Selain itu, permainan lebih mudah saat mengambil 1 buah bebas daripada 3 buah bebas. Namun, untuk kondisi membuat buah menjadi putih atau hitam, tidak dapat ditentukan dikarenakan perbedaan kondisi buah. Terdapat konsep gerak vertikal ke atas dan jatuh bebas pada permainan kucing-kucing. Konsep tersebut dapat dikenalkan menggunakan permainan kucing-kucing secara dasar kepada siswa SMP dan lebih detail menggunakan aplikasi Tracker untuk siswa SMA dan mahasiswa melalui pendekatan Etno-STEM.   Kata  kunci—Konsep Fisika, Permainan Kucing-kucing, Tracker, Pembelajaran Fisika   ABSTRACT   Studi literatur menunjukkan bahwa ada konsep-konsep fisika dalam permainan tradisional yang dapat diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran fisika. Abstract

ABSTRAK Proses pembelajaran merupakan kegiatan mengajar dan belajar yang dilakukan oleh guru dan peserta didik yang direncanakan dan dievaluasi dengan sistematis, sehingga tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran secara efektif dan efisien. Dalam proses pembelajaran diperlukan pemahaman konsep agar peserta didik dapat memecahkan permasalahan yang ada. Pemahaman konsep yang kurang baik disebabkan karena siswa tidak memahami konsep yang telah dipelajarinya, sehingga mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep baru. Salah satu materi yang sulit dipahami pada pembelajaran IPA adalah materi getaran dan gelombang. Adapun tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran/profil pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada materi getaran dan gelombang di SMPN 11 Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif (descriptive research). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SMPN 11 Kota Bengkulu dan Sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX SMPN 11 Kota Bengkulu. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, tes dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi instrumen penelitian, analisis instrumen dan analisis hasil tes. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu pemahaman konsep peserta didik siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 11 Kota Bengkulu berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 33%. Dimana ada 17 siswa dengan persentase 7,6% siswa yang memiliki pemahaman konsep kategori tinggi. Sedangkan pada kategori sedang ada 144 siswa dengan persentase 64,6%. Serta ada 62 siswa yang memperoleh kategori rendah dengan persentase 27,8% artinya ada sebanyak 62 siswa belum memahami konsep getaran dan gelombang. Kata Kunci : Analisis, Pemahaman Konsep, Getaran dan Gelombang ABSTRACT The learning process is a teaching and learning activity carried out by teachers and students which is planned and evaluated systematically, so that learning objectives are achieved effectively and efficiently. In the learning process, it is necessary to understand concepts so that students can solve existing problems. Poor understanding of concepts is caused by students not understanding the concepts they have studied, so they have difficulty understanding new concepts. One of the materials that is difficult to understand in science learning is vibrations and waves. The aim to be achieved in this research is to find out the picture/profile of students' understanding of concepts in vibration and wave material at SMPN 11 Bengkulu City. This research is a type of descriptive research. The population in this study were all students of SMPN 11 Bengkulu City and the sample for this research was all class IX students of SMPN 11 Bengkulu City. Data collection techniques include interviews, tests and documentation. Data analysis techniques include research instruments, instrument analysis and test result analysis. The results of this research are that students' understanding of concepts in class IX of SMP Negeri 11 Bengkulu City is in the medium category with a percentage of 33%. Where there are 17 students with a percentage of 7.6% of students who have a high category of concept understanding. Meanwhile, in the medium category there were 144 students with a percentage of 64.6%. And there were 62 students who received the low category with a percentage of 27.8%, meaning that 62 students did not understand the concept of vibrations and waves.
