Abstract

Abstract

Indonesia is the second highest contributor to stunting in Southeast Asia, so prevention is necessary to reduce the prevalence of stunting to the maximum. One of the efforts that can be made is to establish synergy between the government and the community and strengthen capacity building for village officials. This study aims to see the ability of village officials to prevent stunting in the Nagan Raya District. This descriptive-analytic research method with a cross-sectional design was conducted in April 2021. The population consists of 220 villages in Nagan Raya District. The sampling technique used the cluster sampling technique so that 12 villages were obtained with 96 respondents. They are collecting data using a questionnaire instrument. The test in this study used logistic regression for bivariate analysis and multiple logistic regression for multivariate analysis. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between increasing the capability of village officials and the variable level of education (p= 0,040; OR= 2,77), knowledge (p= 0,001; OR= 7,22) implementers (p= 0,002; OR= 8,54) and manager (p= 0,001; OR= 11,05). The conclusion is that there is a significant relationship between the variables of education, knowledge, implementers, and managers. There is no significant relationship between the variables of age, income, and training with the ability of village officials to prevent stunting.

Abstract

A Knowledge factor, allergy history, and environment strongly influence the incidence of Dermatitis, followed by allergy history factors. From the survey results, the problem in this study is the high cases of Dermatitis in the community, which reached 623 points. This study aims to examine the impact of Knowledge, history of allergies, and the environment on the incidence of Dermatitis in the working area of Alue Rambot health center, Darul Makmur District Nagan Raya district. The research method used in this research is analytic with a cross-sectional design. This research was conducted in January 2022, The population in this study is people who suffer from Dermatitis in the working area of the Alue Rambot Health Center, as many as 623 sufferers, the sample in this study was taken based on the Slovin formula with an error rate (0.1), where a sample of 86 respondents was obtained with criteria who were willing to be interviewed and were in the working area of the Puskesmas.  Processing data using statistical tests, namely univariate and bivariate analysis, then tested using the Chi-Square test. The study results stated that after being analyzed, it turned out that there was an impact of Knowledge, history of allergies, and the environment affected the incidence of Dermatitis as evidenced by the value (P-value 0.05) with the Prevalence Ratio (7.302, 3.062, and 2.460). The conclusion turns out that the lack of public knowledge about the causes of Dermatitis, the presence of a previous history of allergies, and the environment regarding poor personal Hygiene has a significant influence on the incidence of Dermatitis. Local government advice directly implement socialization about Dermatitis by increasing Knowledge, breaking the chain of causes of allergy recurrence, and improving the cleanliness of the surrounding environment for the formation of work areas whose communities are dermatitis-free.

Abstract

The empowerment of homemakers has a significant effect on the Implementation of Extermination Transport Collection in handling solid waste to improve the cleanliness of the residential environment. The problem in this study is the low Implementation of 3P, where garbage collection is not left correctly scattered; the Transportation of garbage is not routine every day so that the garbage is scattered. Garbage is not destroyed as often as possible so that it harms health. This study aims to assess the feasibility of implementing 3P in dealing with solid waste by empowering homemakers in Drien Rampak Village, Johan Pahlawan District, West Aceh Regency. This research is a sectional observational study with one group pretest post-test design. I conducted in October 2020, which became the population of housewives with a total sample of 45 people. The study results show differences before and after measuring the 3P Implementation with the empowerment of homemakers in improving the cleanliness of the residential environment, as evidenced by the value (Probability 0.000) where there is a difference before and after measurement with a mean value of -1.622. The 3P Implementation by empowering homemakers is feasible. Suggestions for continuing to empower the role of homemakers in implementing 3P solid waste to improve the quality of cleanliness in residential environments.

Abstract

Low birth weight (LBW) is still a major problem in developing countries including Indonesia. The prevalence of LBW tends to decrease from 2013-2018, from 8.6% to 6.51%. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the relationship between maternal age at pregnancy and household income with the incidence of low birth weight. The type of the study was analytic observational with quantitative method. The population in this study were all mothers who had children aged 6-24 months who resided in West Aceh District and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria by means of simple random sampling. The dependent variable of this study was LB W while the independent variables were maternal age during pregnancy and family income. The risk tendency for each variable was seen using the OR (odds ratio) value which used a Confidence Interval of 95%. The results showed that there was a significant relationship (p=0.049) between the two variables. The amount of household income influences the quality of the mother's health and nutrition intake during pregnancy impacts the weight and health of the child born.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by increased blood sugar levels. Poor eating patterns, including inappropriate meal times and inappropriate amounts of food consumption, can affect blood sugar levels in the body. The aim of this research isto determine the relationship between the size of the diet portion served and blood sugar levels in Diabetes Mellitus patients at RSUD Datu Beru Kab. Central Aceh in 2023.The method used is a quantitative method, analytical observationalwith approachcross-sectional. This research was carried out from September 2023 to May 2024. The type of data is primary data obtained from the patient's general description questionnaire and data on the portion size served was obtained from direct weighing and secondary data was obtained from the patient care book, namely data on blood sugar levels 2 hours after eating. The method for collecting data is by using questionnaire sheets, checking maintenance books and eating scales. Data analysis was carried out using univariate and bivariate analysis using the Fisher exact test. The research results showed that as many as 82.0% had high kgd (>180mg/dl) and 18% had normal kgd (80-179mg/dl). There were 23.6% good portions served and 76.4% poor food portions. The results of the Fisher test show p <0.05 (0.002) and have a PR value >1 (4.2) which is a risk factor between the size of the portion served and the blood sugar levels of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The conclusion is that the size of the portion served is partly The size does not match the standard portions served, causing respondents to have higher blood sugar levels 2 hours after eating. There is a significant relationship and 4 times higher risk between the size of the diet portion and blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Suggestions for Hospitals should improve the quality of health services, especially food services, and nutritionists/nutritionists should be able to supervise the portioning process to produce food portions that suit patient needs.
