Abstract

This study aims to find out the most frequent errors students make in writing recount texts. This study used a descriptive method with quantitative data analysis techniques to answer the questions posed. The scope of this research is limited to the grammatical analysis and writing mechanism of the components of the fourth recount text written by third year students of UMS Rappang. These errors are classified into six categories: errors in the use of verb forms; thr use of the article; use of prepositions; noun pluralization; use of pronouns; use of conjunctions. The findings of the study showed that the most frequent errors students made were in the use of verb forms, punctuation marks, prepositions, nouns, articles and pronouns. It can be concluded that students have not mastered grammar well. They face many problems in English in general and in writing English in particular.

Abstract

Background. Researchers will examine the impact of the Focusky app on Arts and Culture learning for 10th-grade students at Madrasah Aliyah DDI Kulo. Pre-observation reveals conventional teaching methods in use. The introduction of Focusky is expected to enhance learning, offering a dynamic experience for both students and teachers.Top of Form. In determining the experimental and control group students used a totally  sampling technique system. Conclusion.Based on the results of this research, several conclusions can be drawn as follows: The use of Focusky in the learning process has an influence on the Arts and Culture learning outcomes of class X Madrasah Aliyah DDI Kulo students. This is because by using Focusky teachers and students can carry out the teaching and learning process more easily and convey information to students well and interestingly.

Abstract

Background. Based on the results of observations at Private Senior High School Muhammadiyah Pangsid, researchers saw that teachers still used the lecture method in the learning process with voices that were not clear during the learning process. And media which used Still depend on book package Which less interesting so students feel bored and cannot concentrate on what the teacher is saying. With Canva- based media , it is hoped that it can help the teaching and learning process can be implemented well. Purpose. The research focuses on Canva as a presentation-based learning tool with diverse templates to boost student interest in the material. Observations at Private Senior High School Muhammadiyah Pangsid revealed a concern: low student interest affecting learning quality and school credibility. Addressing this issue is crucial for enhancing overall educational outcomes.Top of Form. Method. The research This research uses an experimental type of research. Sugiyono explained that "Method study experiment can  interpreted as research methods used to find the effect of certain   treatments towards others in controlled conditions” (Anggoro, 2016). Results. The results of the experimental group that used Canva- based media in the learning process obtained higher scores compared to the group control Which No using media based canva on moment learning process. Matter the can seen from the results acquisition analysis that data carried out shows the average value of the experimental group. Conclusion. Research on the impact of Canva in teaching Citizenship Education to Class XI at Private Senior High School Muhammadiyah Pangsid shows positive results. With an average score of 83.214, significantly higher than the control group's 65, and a t-test result of 8.204 exceeding the critical value, Canva positively influences Citizenship Education outcomes.

Abstract

This study uses a quantitative method with the type of experimental research that aims to determine the effectiveness of using Animaker media on learning outcomes in class VII science at SMP Negeri 1 Watang Pulu, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. The population of this study were all 192 students of class VII at SMP Negeri 1 Watang Pulu, and 26 samples were taken. Data collection techniques were carried out based on Slavin's theory (2000), namely observation techniques, documentation techniques, test techniques, and questionnaire techniques. This indicator consists of four, namely the quality of learning, the suitability of the level of learning, intensity, and time. After the data was collected, the data was analyzed and found that the four indicators of the effectiveness of a strategy were passed and had an impact on student learning outcomes in class VII science subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Watang Pulu. Testing the research hypothesis of the data obtained on average from the higher posttest results, namely 81.8 %, while the pretest results were 50.8%. The results of this study indicate that the use of Animaker media in learning science class VII at SMP Negeri 1 Watang Pulu, Sidenreng Rappang Regency, is declared effective.

Abstract

This study uses a quantitative method with the type of experimental research that aims to determine the effectiveness of using Flip Books on the results of Craft and Entrepreneurship learning for class XI SMA Muhammadiyah Pangsid, Sidenreng Rappang Regency.The population of this study were all 27 students of class XI SMA Muhammadiyah Pangsid, and the sample of this study was 27 people using the total sampling technique, namely by taking the overall sample. The data collection techniques used were documentation techniques, test techniques, and questionnaire techniques. The indicators of effectiveness in this study are based on Sinambela's theory (2006), the three indicators of effectiveness are: learning completeness, timeliness, and student responses. Learning outcomes are a measure of one's success. The results of this study indicate that the average posttest score is 88.0% higher, while the pretest result is 70.9%. The results showed that the use of Flip Books on the learning outcomes of crafts and entrepreneurship in class XI SMA Muhammadiyah Pangsid was declared effective.

Abstract

The need to ground guidance and counseling theory following the character of Indonesia, where strong cultural values in everyday life characterize the people, needs to be addressed positively in developing strategies for guidance and counseling services for school students. This research aims to validate the group guidance model using a hybrid mode using the Ngudi Kasampurnan value-based cognitive reconstruction technique, developed to provide group guidance services to high school students. This research uses the ADDIE model development research type to validate the model developed. The instrument used was expert validation with Aiken's V analysis method as interrater agreement. Model validation was carried out on eight experts, including 3 group guidance experts, three cognitive technique experts, and two cultural experts who have a qualified understanding of Sunan Kalijaga's teachings. The validation results from group guidance experts concluded that the model developed was very feasible for testing. Furthermore, cognitive technique experts in guidance and counseling services also provided the same assessment with a few notes on the possibility of cognitive disputes, which might be biased if done online. Cultural experts also evaluate that the values of ngudi kasampurnan that have been explored also fulfill and represent the overall values taught by Sunan Kalijaga. In general, the validator states that the model that has been developed meets the requirements for limited testing. Furthermore, it is necessary to create a wider use of local Indonesian wisdom so that Indonesian guidance and counseling services become more characterized.

Abstract

Project-Based Learning (PBL) has been recognized as a transformative educational model for enhancing 21st-century competencies, particularly in developing countries undergoing curricular reforms. In Indonesia, the Merdeka Curriculum and its P5 framework have adopted PBL as a central pedagogical strategy. This study evaluates the outcomes and implementation fidelity of Project-Based Learning (PBL) in Indonesian secondary schools through synthesis of global and local empirical evidence. Using a meta-synthesis approach, the study integrates quantitative and qualitative data from peer-reviewed research, quasi-experimental designs, and policy evaluations. Validated tools such as the California Critical Thinking Skills Test (CCTST) and Tibi’s Collaboration Questionnaire were used to assess student outcomes. Fidelity of implementation was analyzed through project duration, professional development (PD), and adherence to Gold Standard PBL criteria. Findings reveal moderate-to-large effect sizes of PBL on student critical thinking (SMD = 0.82 in high schools) and collaboration (SMD = 0.94 in middle schools). Extended project duration (≥6 weeks), structured PD, and alignment with authentic PBL elements significantly enhance learning outcomes. However, institutional and cultural constraints such as rigid assessment systems and teacher-centered traditions undermine PBL fidelity in Indonesian classrooms. Comparative analysis with other Global South nations reveals similar challenges, highlighting the need for localized yet globally aligned implementation strategies. While PBL holds strong potential to transform student learning in Indonesia, its effectiveness depends on systemic supports, including targeted PD, curricular alignment, and culturally responsive assessment frameworks. This study offers a fidelity-sensitive roadmap for scaling PBL in developing contexts and contributes to the discourse on reforming instructional practices for future-ready education

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi dan keterampilan ibu-ibu balita dalam memanfaatkan bahan pangan lokal menjadi menu sehat bergizi. Program dilaksanakan di Desa Aka-akae melalui pendampingan demo masak yang fokus pada inovasi olahan pangan lokal seperti nugget tahu dan sate lilit ayam . Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif, mencakup edukasi gizi, praktik memasak, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan peserta tentang gizi seimbang (80% meningkat) dan keterampilan mengolah pangan lokal menjadi menu sehat kekinian. Selain itu, produk hasil demo memiliki potensi dikembangkan menjadi peluang usaha rumah tangga, sehingga mendukung pencegahan stunting dan perbaikan gizi balita secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah membuat guru mampu melakukan penelitian ilmiah, termasuk PTK, sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pengembangan profesionalisme. Masalah yang dihadapi oleh guru adalah bagaimana mengoptimalkan pembuatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas bagi guru SD di Desa Rijang Panua. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan dengan pendekatan sosialisasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, diskusi, dan praktik. Hasil dari kegiatan ini mencapai target yang ditetapkan. Prestasi yang dicapai adalah guru mampu menghasilkan PTK yang berkualitas. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat diikuti oleh 25 guru dari target 30 guru. Dengan demikian, capaian peserta mencapai 83% atau dapat dinilai baik. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah pencapaian target materi telah sesuai dengan yang direncanakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini dan dapat dinilai baik.
