Abstract

MPX5500DP is a sensor designed to measure how much air pressure is traveling in a channel or piping system. The MPX5500DP sensor has an analog output value that can be converted into a digital signal to display data on how much air pressure is being generated. By utilizing the MPX5500DP sensor the purpose of this study is to measure air pressure in HVAC systems with Micro SD data storage and IOT (Internet Of Things) based Web Browsers. The method used in implementing the MPX5500DP sensor is, selecting materials, making tools, installing sensors and testing. The test results obtained from Micro SD storage are the average air pressure value of 15.76 kPa. The IOT test produced an average air pressure of 15.67 kPa. At the time of testing, there were problems where data transmission was very slow so that for 30 minutes the test only received 14 air pressure data that were read on the Web Browser, namely ThingSpeak. However, the IOT test on an air pressure gauge using the MPX 5500DP sensor was successful. The success of the IOT system in monitoring HVAC air pressure can assist in monitoring the HVAC system in multi-storey buildings.

Abstract

There are relatively many Indonesian fairy tales that are spread in the community, have characters with good and evil temperaments. Usually take folk tales about teaching goodness, behaving smartly, and being able to distinguish between good and bad. Also teaches children not to be arrogant, insulting other people. The learning process is usually in the delivery of material using only pictures, dolls, or videos that are commonly seen by children. Conventional media used for learning reduce children's enthusiasm. On this occasion, to answer the problem of media that is less attractive to children by using Augmented Reality (AR) because it can help visualize abstract concepts so that it can be used for understanding the image object and the structure of an object model. results of making applications using Augmented Reality, assessed from the aspects of cognitive, affective, psychomotor, technological, and the benefits of getting good interpretation results.

Abstract

Compressed Natural Gas atau CNG merupakan gas alam yang dikompresi menjadi tekanan tinggi hingga 250 bar, tekanan pengisian tergantung dari kemampuan mesin kompresi dan kemampuan tabung penampung. Gas alam digunakan sebagai bahan bakar alternatif yang digunakan untuk mengkonversi penggunaan gas LPG dan bahan bakar minyak lainnya yang ketersediaannya saat ini sudah mulai berkurang akibat konsumsi yang sangat besar dan harga yang lebih mahal. Untuk mengalirkan gas alam dari tabung penyimpan ke pelanggan diperlukan alat penurun tekanan yang itu PRS. Pressure Reduction System (PRS) adalah alat yang digunakan untuk menyalurkan gas alam bertekanan tinggi maksimum 250 bar menjadi tekanan yang diperlukan oleh pelanggan atau setara dengan tekanan gas LPG 12 dan 15 kg dengan jalan memanaskan gas selanjutnya menurunkan atau mereduksi tekanan sesuai dengan tekanan yang diperlukan. Dalam pembuatan diperlukan perhitungan empiris dan teori terhadap laju aliran massa, besar panas yang diperlukan, media yang digunakan, jenis material, teknik pembuatan dan biaya.

Abstract

Banyaknya minyak pelumas bekas yang di hasilkan dari kendaraan sering kali menimbulkan permasalahan baru. Minyak pelumas bekas hasil pembakaran bersifat asam dan korosif, deposit, dan logam berat yang bersifat karsinogenik.. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut salah satunya adalah dengan cara memanfaatkan oli bekas sebagai bahan bakar pada mesin diesel dengan proses yang mudah dan murah. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi performa mesin untuk mengukur pengaruh penggunaan bahan bakar alternative hasil destilasi dari limbah minyak pelumas sebagai campuran bahan bakar dexlite dengan menggunakan variasi campuran 50%, 30% dan 10% minyak diesel dengan Dexlite. Berdasarkan hasilnya nilai rata-rata torsi pada penggunaan minyak diesel 50% dan Dexlite 50% adalah 8,69 Nm lebih rendah dari pada bahan bakar campuran yang lain. Sedangkan daya pada penggunaan minyak diesel 50% dan Dexlite 50% dan penggunaan minyak diesel 100% mempunyai daya rata-rata yang sama yaitu 1,37 KW, hal ini menunjukan daya yang lebih kecil dibandikan dengan penggunaan campuran yang lain. Untuk konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik pada minyak diesel 50% dan Dexlite 50% mempunyai nilai rata-rata 0,27 kg/Kwh, minyak diesel 30% dan Dexlite 70% sfc rata-rata sebesar 0,28 kg/Kwh, sedangkan untuk minyak diesel 10% dan Dexlite 90% serta penggunaan minyak diesel 100% mempunyai sfc rata-rata yang sama yaitu sebesar 0,26%.

Abstract

The influence of science in mechanical engineering design is very significant. Science provides a foundation of in-depth knowledge of the principles of physics, mathematics, and chemistry that are used to design efficient and innovative machines. The method used is a quantitative method with descriptive statistics. This method is an approach to research that focuses on data collection and data analysis based on numbers or quantities. From the method presented, it can be concluded that this method can make it easier to make better decisions based on structured numerical information. The results of this research refer to 3 parameters, namely kurtosis value, maximum value and minimum value. several other parameters are also displayed such as mean value, standard error, median, mode, standard deviation, sample variance, skewness, range, sum and count. It can be concluded from this study that the data does not have a normal distribution because the kurtosis number is not 0. Based on the data descriptive statistics, the maximum valuein this study is 31, the minimum value in this study is 20.

Abstract

There are 10 countries with the least pollutant levels in the world. This is what triggers the example of other countries. So it is necessary to explore what makes these countries superiors in environmental issues so that they are ranked in the top 10 on the world scales according to the U-Earth Team. However, a clean country can be due to a small area or a small population so that the pollutants become small. The method used for this research is a literature study with a qualitative research type based on what already exists. What is meant here is the research method with reference to the existing literature. The stages of this research are looking for problems, then collecting the existing literature. Then after that, examine the related parameters related to the problem. The final step are to find a solution to the existing problem. The importance of progress of going green in this great country so that it can save much human beings. You could say, in terms of SO2, NOx and Dust emission levels in Indonesia, Indonesia has a fairly high ratio, so it is important to check CO2 in every vehicle and industry as well as limit personal use. The essence of this research is that public education about go green energy and minimizing pollution is very much needed.

Abstract

RPM measurement is a crucial measurement tool for assessing a machine's rotation quality and ensuring that it meets the DC motor manufacturer's specifications. The quality of rotation of electric motors and combustion motors can both be observed through RPM measurements. The precision with which the LM393 sensor measures the rotation of a DC motor engine is the problem formulation in this study. Thus, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the rotation measurement accuracy of the LM393 Microcontroller sensor and compare it to a traditional tachometer. In order to conduct rotational variations on the DC motor, the following voltages will be applied: 0.93V, 2.83V, 4.25V, 7.05V, and 9.07V. Next, a tachometer and an LM393 microcontroller are used to measure the DC motor rotation. The gathered data will be made available for verification. Based on the measurement results, the corresponding data differences are -5.560 RPM, -1.577 RPM, -2.182 RPM, -3 RPM, and 0.334 RPM. Therefore, measurement validation was done based on the disparity in readings, yielding results of 0.252%, -1.45%, 0.12%, 0.038%, and 0.0725%. Based on validation results showing a presentation of no more than 10%, the LM393 measuring tool for DC motor RPM measurement is deemed valid and suitable for use.

Abstract

The use of ships as transportation vessels has a relatively low accident rate due to the incorporation of prevention and mitigation facilities in ship construction. However, with the increasing demand and variety of ships, the need for electrical energy on board fluctuates significantly. Utilizing ship power generators can harness solar energy as an alternative source of electrical energy. Indonesia's solar energy potential is approximately 4.8 kWh/m2, covering regions across the country. Therefore, the research team aims to develop the KISAT SAKSI (Bright Solar Fishing Boat, Leak Threat Sensor System) energy. Solar energy is abundant near the equator and available throughout the year, except during rainy seasons. Solar energy can be used as an alternative to traditional, increasingly limited, and expensive energy sources. The data contained in this document are derived from publications, manufacturers, relevant government agencies, scientific literature, and other sources. Solar energy utilization as electrical energy can be achieved by installing solar panels on ships. The generated electrical energy can power ship propellers, electrical equipment, be used for ship lighting at night, or serve as a leak detection tool for fishing boats. The utilization of solar power systems can also have positive impacts on fishermen, including enhancing health, economics, environmental sustainability, and fostering independent fishermen.

Abstract

Desa Kedung Jeruk terletak di RT/RW 4/1 Dosun Krajan Desa Kedungjeruk Kecamatan Cibuaya Kabupaten Karawang, memiliki sumber daya para pemuda yang kuat dan memupuni didalam dunia kerja. Pada umumnya masyarakat tersebut berprofesi sebagai petani. Tetapi para pemuda menginginkan pekerjaan yang dapat mengembangkan UMKM di Desa tersebut. Di Desa tersebut memiliki usaha mebel untuk kebutuhan rumah tangga. Kegiatan produksi mebel memiliki pengaruh pesat untuk perkembangan UMKM didesa.Namun karena tidak banyak keahlian dalam memilih material kayu mebel serta keahlian membuat mebel maka para pengabdi memberikan pelatihan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, dengan dimulai memberikan sosialisasi, pengarahan pembuatan mebel dan pemilihan jenis kayu, proses produksi mebel dan memberika kuisioner tentang kepuasan pada pelatihan tersebut. Peserta masyarakat Kedungjeruk mengikuti pelatihan sebanyak 8 orang dengan memberikan responden yaitu ingin menerapkan ilmu tentang pembuatan mebel, ingin pelatihan mebel dilanjutkan dan mengadakan pelatihan skill lainnya. Dengan responden tersebut memberikan dampak bagi masyarakat yang antusias mengikuti pelatihan untuk meningkatkan skill tersebut

Abstract

JIG merupakan sebuah komponen yang sangat penting dalam dunia industri baik industri manufacturing dan industri lainnya, JIG adalah sebuah komponen yang akan digunakan dalam penempatan atau dudukan untuk sebuah proses dalam industri. JIG digunakan sebagai media membantu dalam penempatan komponen-komponen produksi yang akan di manufacturing, permasalahan yang timbul adalah pada saat pembuatan JIG memerlukan ukuran yang sesuai terhadap benda yang akan ditempatkan, maka tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menetapkan sebuah toleransi untuk pembuatan JIG menggunakan mesin 3D Printing. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dimulai dengan pengukuran benda manufacturing yaitu jackcable pada pin 16 dan pin 10. Setelah dilakukan proses pengukuran maka penentuan toleransi sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditetapkan, ketika perhitungan toleransi terhadap hasil pengukuran maka selanjutnya dilakukan proses desain. Hasil desain akan diubah menjadi format G-Code untuk dicetak menggunakan mesin 3D Printing. hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan simbol “i,j,n,m dan e” memiliki toleransi yang sama yaitu 0.5-0.7mm hal tersebut karena pada bagian tersebut toleransi hanya menerapkan tingkat suaian yang longgar atau suaian kasar. Secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan hasil penelitian ini pada JIG pin 10 menggunakan suaian sedang dan pada JIG pin 16 menggunakan suaian kasar.
