Abstract

This study investigates the effect of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model assisted by Kokami media on fifth-grade elementary students’ descriptive paragraph writing skills. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest group design was employed. The sample consisted of 59 students, divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group was taught using the TGT model supported by Kokami media, while the control group received instruction through a conventional differentiated learning method. The research instrument was a performance-based writing test assessed on content, organization, and vocabulary aspects. Data were analyzed using SPSS 23, including normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing via independent sample t-test. The results showed a significant increase in the average posttest scores of the experimental group compared to the control group. The significance value obtained was 0.037 (<0.05), indicating that the TGT model with Kokami media had a statistically significant positive effect. The findings suggest that combining cooperative learning strategies with interactive media can effectively enhance students’ writing abilities, foster active participation, and create a more engaging learning environment.

Abstract

Fenomena ingkar Sunnah merupakan salah satu wacana krusial dalam diskursus pemikiran Islam, khususnya terkait otoritas keagamaan dan epistemologi sumber ajaran Islam. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara sistematis konsep ingkar Sunnah, sejarah kemunculannya, ragam argumen yang dikemukakan oleh para pengingkarnya, serta kelemahan metodologis dari argumen tersebut, dengan bertumpu pada kajian tekstual kritis terhadap karya Syuhudi Ismail. Berbeda dari penelitian sebelumnya yang cenderung menempatkan Syuhudi Ismail sebagai tokoh pemikiran, penelitian ini memosisikan karyanya sebagai sumber primer untuk memetakan konstruksi wacana pengingkaran Sunnah dan respons intelektual para pembelanya. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa ingkar Sunnah tidak hanya muncul sebagai persoalan teologis, tetapi juga sebagai problem epistemologis yang berakar pada kesalahan memahami relasi antara Al-Qur’an, Sunnah, dan otoritas kenabian. Argumen yang diajukan oleh para pengingkar Sunnah, baik yang bersifat naqli maupun non-naqli, terbukti mengandung kelemahan konseptual, historis, dan metodologis. Sebaliknya, upaya pelestarian Sunnah oleh para pembelanya dilakukan melalui pengembangan metodologi kritik sanad dan matan, pembentukan disiplin ilmu hadis, serta peneguhan kedudukan Sunnah sebagai sumber ajaran Islam yang integral. Dengan demikian, kajian ini menegaskan bahwa Sunnah tidak dapat dipisahkan dari struktur ajaran Islam tanpa menimbulkan reduksi makna dan praktik keagamaan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the forms of capitalization errors made by second-grade students at Kebalen 07 Public Elementary School. Capitalization errors are still frequently found in students' writing, so a more in-depth study is needed to determine the types of errors and the factors that influence them. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study design to describe in depth the errors that appear in writing activities. The research subjects consisted of second-grade students as the main informant and second-grade teachers as supporting informants. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation of students' writing results. Data were analyzed using coding techniques to facilitate grouping findings and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that there are still various errors in capitalization, especially in capitalizing at the beginning of sentences, proper names, place names, and the use of capital letters after periods. Factors causing errors include students' lack of understanding of the rules of capitalization, low interest and motivation of students in learning to write, as well as limited time and learning strategies used by teachers. This study emphasizes the importance of strengthening writing learning that is more interesting, focused, and appropriate to students' needs to minimize capitalization errors at the elementary school level.

Abstract

The productive age group of 25–35 years old faces the challenge of increasing sedentary behavior due to work demands, technology use, and limited time for physical activity. This condition has the potential to reduce physical fitness and increase the risk of non-communicable diseases. This community service activity aims to enhance the knowledge, skills, and awareness of the 25–35 age group in implementing Structured Physical Exercise in a planned, safe, and sustainable manner in their daily lives. The methods of implementation include training, mentoring, and evaluation. The training phase focused on providing material on the concept of structured physical activity, which includes frequency, intensity, time, and type of activity (FITT), as well as physical activity practices appropriate for young adults. The mentoring phase was carried out through direct guidance and monitoring of the implementation of structured physical activity in the daily routines of participants. Subsequently, the evaluation phase was conducted to assess changes in participants' level of understanding, participation, and consistency in performing physical activities. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge and practice regarding the importance of structured physical activities consisting of upper body and lower body exercise programmes. In conclusion, this community service programme has successfully improved understanding and practice of structured physical exercise among the productive age group, and has laid a strong foundation for the implementation of more sustainable and systematic follow-up programmes.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to explore the phenomenon of language variation usage on Instagram social media among university students from a sociolinguistic perspective. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method. Data were obtained from captions or written expressions found on the Instagram accounts of students. Data collection was conducted through documentation, observation, and note-taking techniques. Data analysis was conducted by categorizing the language variations according to Martin Joos's classification and additional classifications due to the large number of findings that could not be categorized under Joos’s model. The results of the study revealed that the language variations used by students include: (1) intimate style, (2) casual style, (3) consultative style, (4) formal style, (5) frozen style, (6) words with shifted meanings (association), (7) words with elided vowels, (8) words formed through improvisation of base words, and (9) newly created words formed by the creativity of Instagram users. Abstract

Pendapatan merupakan indikator utama dalam kelangsungan usaha, termasuk pada sektor kuliner seperti kafe. Kafe Dinarayn Coffee sebagai salah satu pelaku usaha kuliner di Kota Medan membutuhkan sistem estimasi pendapatan yang akurat dan efisien untuk mendukung proses pengambilan keputusan strategis. Kenyataannya, proses estimasi pendapatan selama ini masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga mengakibatkan kurangnya efisiensi dan potensi kesalahan dalam perhitungan. Selain itu, faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pendapatan tidak hanya berasal dari satu aspek saja, melainkan melibatkan berbagai variabel seperti waktu operasional, perubahan harga, dan jumlah pengunjung.Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut, dibutuhkan suatu sistem digital yang mampu mengolah data secara otomatis dan menyajikan estimasi pendapatan secara cepat dan akurat. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode Regresi Linear Berganda yang berfungsi untuk memodelkan hubungan antara pendapatan (variabel dependen) dengan beberapa faktor yang memengaruhinya (variabel independen). Dengan metode ini, dapat diketahui seberapa besar pengaruh masing-masing variabel terhadap pendapatan kafe. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan dapat membantu proses estimasi pendapatan secara efisien dan efektif. Dengan penerapan metode Regresi Linear Berganda, diperoleh model persamaan estimasi pendapatan yang dapat digunakan sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan manajerial pada Kafe Dinarayn Coffee, serta dapat mempermudah pelaku usaha dalam menganalisis data historis untuk merencanakan strategi bisnis yang lebih baik.
