Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of Islamic economic principles in the mineral water production process. There are three main pillars that are the focus of this study, namely tauhid (belief in the oneness of Allah), maslahah (public interest), and justice. Amidst the growing awareness of the importance of ethical and sustainable business practices, the sharia-based production model offers a relevant framework that is not only oriented towards material profit, but also towards the benefit of all parties. The primary objective of this research is to identify the extent to which these principles are integrated throughout the entire mineral water production chain, from the selection of water sources that must be maintained for sustainability, production processes that prioritize quality and cleanliness, to product distribution that ensures fair access for consumers. Furthermore, this study also aims to analyze how the application of these principles can add value to companies, not only in terms of reputation and consumer trust but also in creating positive social and environmental impacts. The analysis results indicate that the integration of Islamic economic principles in mineral water production has significant potential to form a holistic and sustainable business model. This implementation can serve as a guide for other industries to adopt more ethical and socially responsible business practices, in line with Islamic values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the forms of conflicts that arise within the educational environment and their implications for educational management. The research employs a quantitative approach based on library research by reviewing relevant journal articles published between 2020 and 2025 that address value conflicts, educational policies, and inter-stakeholder interests. The results indicate that value conflicts are often influenced by cultural differences, parenting styles, technological developments, and friction between traditional and modern values in schools. Policy conflicts emerge when national policies are not aligned with the readiness of facilities, teachers’ competencies, and school contexts. Meanwhile, conflicts of interest occur due to differing priorities among teachers, school principals, parents, and the government. These findings emphasize the importance of implementing adaptive and collaborative management strategies. This article provides an overview of an ideal educational management model to address conflicts and identify opportunities for improvement in the future.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to trace the ideas of iconoclasm that have grown within the Islamic tradition. It is motivated by the relationship between religion and icons, which has sparked considerable debate. On one hand, there are some religions that consider icons a legitimate element in their religious tradition, a practice known as iconodulism. On the other hand, there are religions that take the opposite stance, rejecting, prohibiting, or even condemning the use or production of icons within their religious tradition, a practice known as iconoclasm. In the context of Islam, some argue that iconoclastic movements are often directed at specific groups as a purification effort. However, upon closer examination, many dominant traditions within Islam have elements of iconoclasm: Allah is symbolized through the concept of Asma` al-Husna or depicted through calligraphic art; the visualization of Prophet Muhammad has been a controversial subject, leading to an evolution that is symbolized through light or calligraphy. There is also a stigma attached to painting and sculpture in this context. Why does Islamic tradition prefer symbols over icons?.
