Abstract

The low learning outcomes and limited use of contextual, technology-based instructional media in elementary schools underscore the need for innovative, effective, and engaging learning tools. This study aims to develop, assess the feasibility of, and evaluate the effectiveness of Flashcard Barcode media supported by Augmented Reality (AR) for teaching the topic of Indonesia’s Cultural Diversity to fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Sadeng 02, Semarang City. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model and a quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The study involved 24 students, divided into a small-scale trial group (4 students) and a large-scale trial group (20 students). Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. Validation results indicated a media feasibility score of 92% and a material feasibility score of 90%, both categorized as “highly feasible.” Effectiveness testing showed a significant increase in posttest scores, with mastery learning reaching 100% in the small-scale trial and 95% in the large-scale trial. The T-test yielded a significance value of 0.00 (<0.05), and the N-Gain analysis reached 72.26% (small-scale) and 71.29% (large-scale). The study concludes that AR-based Flashcard Barcode media is effective in enhancing student learning outcomes. The findings highlight the importance of integrating interactive, visually driven technology into elementary science and social studies (IPAS) instruction to improve student engagement and comprehension. Abstract

Penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka menuntut adanya strategi pembelajaran yang mampu mengakomodasi keragaman karakteristik peserta didik. Asesmen diagnostik menjadi instrumen penting dalam merancang pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, terutama di jenjang Sekolah Dasar. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menelaah secara sistematis berbagai hasil penelitian yang membahas penerapan asesmen diagnostik dalam mendukung pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar pada rentang tahun 2021 hingga 2025. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literatur Review (SLR) dengan pendekatan naratif-deskriptif. Enam artikel terpilih dikaji berdasarkan aspek fokus asesmen, pendekatan pelaksanaan, serta dampak terhadap strategi pembelajaran. Tahapan SLR ini melalui empat tahap utama: identifikasi, penyaringan (screening), penentuan kelayakan (eligibility), dan inklusi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa asesmen diagnostik kognitif dan non-kognitif secara umum digunakan untuk pemetaan kesiapan belajar, gaya belajar, dan minat siswa yang menjadi dasar dalam penyusunan strategi diferensiasi konten, proses, dan produk pembelajaran. Meskipun memberikan dampak positif terhadap keefektifan pembelajaran, masih ditemukan tantangan berupa keterbatasan pemahaman guru terhadap fungsi asesmen diagnostik serta keterbatasan instrumen yang valid. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya penguatan kompetensi guru melalui pelatihan asesmen awal serta pengembangan instrumen diagnostik yang kontekstual.

Abstract

Penelitian  ini  merupakan  penelitian  studi  literatur  yang bertujuan  menganalisis  beberapa  temuan  dari  hasil  artikel,  jurnal  dan  prosiding  penelitian  sebelumnya.  Tujuan analisis  ini  mengacu  hasil belajar siswa terhadap penggunaan LKPD Berbasis TaRL sebagai Strategi dalam pembelajaran yang memperhatikan pada level kognitif peserta didik di kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian  ini  menggunakan  metode  kualitatif  studi literatur dengan  desain  deskriptif  kualitatif  melalui  cara  menganalisis,  mengidentifikasi,  serta  mendalami temuan-temuan dari hasil penelitian sebelumnya. Objek penelitian ini adalah jurnal, artikel dan prosiding pada yang diterbitkan pada tingkat nasional dan internasional.

Abstract

Based learning to improve IPAS learning outcomes in class V students of Srondol Wetan 06 State Elementary School. this is quantitative research with research design Quasi-experimental research design with the form of nonequivalent control group design. The sample in this study were all students of grade V of Srondol Wetan 06 State Elementary School totaling 58 students. students. Data analysis in this study used normality test, homogeneity test, t-test, and N-game test.homogeneity test, t-test, and N-gain test. The results of data analysis in this study namely the results of the t-test (Independent Sample Test) data obtained Sig (2- tailed)< α (0.001 < α), thus STEAM-based learning is effective to improve student learning outcomes.to improve student learning outcomes. And reinforced by the results of the experimental class N-gain test obtained an average N-gain value of 0.65.average N-gain of 0.65 with a medium category which is interpreted as quite effective, so it can be concluded that STEAM-based learning is effective.effective, it can be concluded that STEAM-based learning is quite effective to improve the learning outcomes of IPAS class v.

Abstract

Teachers need to strive for innovation in creating new media so that the learning of Natural Sciences becomes easier for students. The purpose of this research is to describe the characteristics, validity, and effectiveness of SIRAJA in enhancing critical thinking skills. This research is a type of developmental research. The researcher used various methods to collect data, including interviews, questionnaires, observations, documentation, and tests. The researcher used a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design. The data obtained was then tested for effectiveness, normality, and the increase in critical thinking scores from the pretest and posttest based on the Hake gain. Meanwhile, the responses from the student and teacher questionnaires were evaluated using a Likert scale. The analysis of the learning outcomes of the respondents, who were the subjects of the study, showed that the pretest score of 59 increased to 77 on the posttest. The percentage of learning mastery also significantly increased, from 20% on the pretest to 85% on the posttest. The normality test used was the one-sample Shapiro-Wilk test, which found an asymptotic significance value of 0.388 for the pretest and 0.616 for the posttest, exceeding the significance level of 0.05. Therefore, the researcher concluded that the utilization of SIRAJA positively impacts the critical thinking of fifth-grade students.

Abstract

Development of Local Wisdom-Based Blended Learning Programs to Improve Students' Learning Outcomes and Communication Skills. Objectives: This study aimed to develop a blended learning program based on local wisdom for improving students' learning outcomes and communication skills. Methods: This development research was adapted from Dick and Carey, namely ADDIE. This study used data analysis techniques to convert quantitative data to qualitative data. Findings: All developed products got a score in valid category and practically category. The learning outcomes in the cognitive domain can be seen from the N-gain value of 0.71; it is enough effective category. The learning outcomes of the affective domains achieved the KKM score of 84% and the students who were incomplete of 16%. Students' communication skills average percentage scores on indicators of voice clarity 81%, writing clarity 74%, grammar 75%, performance 73%, expression 79%, and gestures 81%. Conclusion: The results of blended learning programs based on local wisdom can improve students’ learning outcomes and communication skills. Keywords: development, blended learning, local wisdom, learning outcomes, communication skills.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v12.i1.202226

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between numeracy and the problem solving abilities of elementary school students. Numeracy data was obtained from school education reports, while problem solving abilities were obtained from the results of tests specifically designed by researchers to get a more specific picture of students' abilities. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with a correlational approach. The research population was fifth grade students in several elementary schools in Kuningan Regency. Cumulative data from education reports is analyzed to see the overall numeracy pattern in each school. The test is designed to measure a person's problem-solving abilities. The results showed that there was a significant positive correlation between numeracy and students' problem solving abilities (r = 0.869, p < 0.01 ) . Regression analysis shows that numeracy ability significantly predicts problem solving ability (β = 0.54, p < 0.05). These findings demonstrate the importance of evaluating individual numeracy to improve problem-solving skills. From these results, it can be concluded that increasing numeracy in students can significantly increase their ability to solve problems. Therefore, efforts to strengthen numeracy learning in elementary schools are very necessary to support the development of better problem solving skills in students.

Abstract

The background that drives this research is that as the times develop, new literacy is needed in the world of education to improve the quality and quality of education by introducing teachers to the STEAM approach. The focus of the problem in this study is how the profile of the understanding of prospective elementary school teachers towards the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) approach in Semarang City. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. Data collection in this study was carried out by methods of (1) observation, (2) interviews, (3) questionnaires, and documentation. The subject of this study is prospective elementary school teachers in the city of Semarang. The sample taken was students who were studying for the Pre-service Teacher Profession in Semarang City. The data obtained from the results of interviews with teachers, students, and parents were processed using data triangulation. This study concludes that not all students of Pre-service teacher professional education know about the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and, Mathematics) approach, but they have unconsciously implemented or applied the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and, Mathematics) approaching the learning process. This can be proven by the existence of prospective teachers who can give student assignments in the form of projects.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa komik digital berbantuan Augmented Reality (AR) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman dari konsep materi lapisan bumi dan juga hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas V. Masalah yang ditemukan pada penelitian yaitu kurangnya pemahaman yang bersifat konseptual pada peserta didik, serta kurangnya media pembelajaran inovatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development (R&D), metode ini digunakan untuk mengembangankan produk berupa media secara sistematis yang berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan dan evaluasi. Model ADDIE juga digunakan oleh peneliti, dengan menggunakan model ADDIE pembelajaran disesuaikan dengan karakteristik peserta didik, melalui tahapan yang melibatkan analisis kebutuhan guru dan peserta didik, perancangan tujuan dan materi, pengembangan media, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, serta evaluasi efektivitas. Validasi pengembangan media dilakukan oleh seorang ahli media dan seorang ahli materi, hasil akhir yang diperoleh dari validasi ahli media yaitu 83% (sangat layak) dan validasi akhir dari ahli materi 93% (sangat layak). Uji efektivitas berdasarkan berdasarkan uji n-gain menunjukkan rata-rata 62% (cukup efektif). Hasil dari penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa media komik digital berbantuan Augmented Reality (AR) cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan penguasaan dalam memahami konsep dan hasil belajar pada materi lapisan bumi. Penggunaan media komik digital direkomendasikan sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif untuk sekolah dasar.

Abstract

In the learning process, students do not understand abstract material, limited concrete learning media and lack of use technology in learning. Student interest in learning science in elementary schools will be increase if teachers use interesting learning media. This study aims to produce a product in the form of Pop Up Book learning media assisted by Augmented Reality on Geographical Location material for grade V of elementary school to improve student learning outcomes. This study uses the Addie model adapted from the theory of Borg and Gall. Pop Up Book media assisted by Augmented Reality utilizes technology to develop science learning media. This media was validated by two experts, namely media experts and material experts. The results of media validation from media experts reached 91.6% with a very feasible category, while the results of material validation from material experts obtained 91.6% with a very feasible category. Thus, the results of the Pop Up Book media assessment assisted by Augmented Reality are very feasible to be used as a learning medium to improve student learning outcome. ABSTRAKDalam proses belajar, siswa sering kali kesulitan memahami materi yang abstrak, terbatasnya penggunaan media pembelajaran konkret, dan kurangnya integrasi teknologi dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Minat siswa dalam mempelajari IPAS di Sekolah Dasar akan meningkat jika guru menggunakan media pembelajaran yang menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan sebuah produk yang berupa media pembelajaran Pop Up Book yang dilengkapi Augmented Reality untuk materi Letak Geografis kelas V Sekolah Dasar untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Addie yang diadaptasi dari teori Borg dan Gall. Media Pop Up Book berbantuan Augmented Reality ini memanfaatkan teknologi untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran IPAS. Media ini divalidasi oleh seorang pakar sejumlah dua pakar, yaitu ahli media dan juga ahli materi. Hasil dari validasi media yaitu ahli media mencapai 91,6% yang masuk ke dalam kategori yang sangat layak, sedangkan hasil validasi materi dari ahli materi memperoleh 91,6% yang masuk ke dalam kategori sangat layak. Dengan demikian, penilaian pada media Pop Up Book yang berbantuan Augmented Reality ini telah menunjukkan bahwa media sangat layak digunakan sebagai alat pembelajaran yang dapat membantu meningkatkan hasil belajar pada siswa.
