Abstract

Perkerasan lentur seperti campuran AC-BC digunakan untuk mendukung beban lalu lintas yang tinggi dan meningkatkan durabilitas jalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh variasi suhu dan waktu pemanasan terhadap karakteristik Marshall campuran AC-BC. Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental di laboratorium dengan variasi suhu 25°C, 35°C, 45°C, dan 60°C serta waktu pemanasan 7, 15, 30, dan 45 hari. Parameter yang diuji adalah stabilitas dan kelelehan menggunakan metode Marshall dan dianalisis melalui regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan suhu dan waktu pemanasan berpengaruh negatif terhadap nilai stabilitas, serta positif terhadap nilai kelelehan. Model regresi menunjukkan suhu memiliki pengaruh dominan terhadap penurunan stabilitas dan peningkatan kelelehan. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya memperhitungkan faktor suhu dan waktu dalam perencanaan dan pengujian campuran AC-BC, guna memastikan kinerja perkerasan optimal pada kondisi lingkungan tropis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 060827 Medan pada materi Penjajahan Bangsa Eropa di Indonesia melalui penerapan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Articulate Storyline 3. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dengan metode konvensional, yang menunjukkan hanya 20% siswa mencapai KKM pada pra-siklus. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini menggunakan model Kemmis dan Taggart dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V semester II tahun akademik 2023/2024. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan tes, dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dengan indikator keberhasilan 80% siswa mencapai KKM (>70). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan: pada siklus I, 46,6% siswa mencapai KKM (rerata 66,6), dan pada siklus II, 86,6% siswa mencapai KKM (rerata 81,7). Media Articulate Storyline 3 terbukti efektif karena meningkatkan pemahaman dan minat belajar siswa melalui elemen interaktif seperti cerita, kuis, dan animasi. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya media pembelajaran interaktif dalam menciptakan pembelajaran yang menarik dan bermakna, sehingga meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the factors influencing the accountability of village fund management in Pineung Siribee Village, Samalanga District, Bireuen Regency. The problem addressed is the low level of accountability due to limited competence of village officials, weak community participation, and insufficient internal control systems. Data were collected from 36 respondents using questionnaires and analyzed with multiple linear regression through SPSS version 24. The results show that the competence of village officials, community participation, and internal control systems have a positive and significant effect on accountability, both partially and simultaneously. These findings conclude that strengthening competence, increasing participation, and reinforcing internal controls are crucial to improve accountability in village fund management.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has made it an essential part of modern life. Among its many applications, the transmission of video data has become increasingly common, but ensuring its confidentiality and integrity remains a major challenge. Video messages, particularly those containing personal or sensitive information, are vulnerable to interception and unauthorized access when transmitted over public networks. To address this issue, cryptographic methods are employed to transform the original video file (plaintext) into an encrypted form (cipher text), which can only be decrypted with the correct key. Previous studies highlight that while RSA offers a relatively simple encryption mechanism, it is often considered insufficient as a standalone approach. Therefore, this study investigates the combined implementation of RSA and ElGamal algorithms to enhance video file security by leveraging the strengths of both techniques. The experimental results demonstrate that the integration of RSA and ElGamal algorithms can successfully encrypt and decrypt video files, ensuring data confidentiality. Encrypted videos cannot be accessed without the appropriate private key, which safeguards sensitive content from unauthorized parties. Furthermore, RSA is found to be simpler to apply, while ElGamal provides stronger security based on the discrete logarithm problem. Overall, the proposed system effectively maintains both the confidentiality and integrity of video files, thereby improving the security of multimedia data transmission.

Abstract

West Nusa Tenggara Province faces serious waste management problems. Bilok Petung Village produces around 3 tonnes of waste per day, most of which ends up in the landfill. A zero waste approach using BSF (Black Soldier Fly) could be a solution. The aim of KKN activities in Bilok Petung Village is to explore the process of cultivating BSF (Black Soldier Fly) magots to support the implementation of zero waste. Activity methods include providing BSF cultivation facilities, collecting organic waste, hatching BSF eggs, maintaining BSF, harvesting eggs, processing maggots, and packaging products. The results of the activity show that BSF cultivation is able to process village organic waste into pupae and organic fertilizer with economic value. Pupae can be used as a source of animal protein and organic fertilizer can increase soil fertility. Thus, BSF cultivation has the potential to support the implementation of zero waste in Bilok Petung Village in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Digital media-based promotional strategies are an effective means of conveying information systematically and persuasively, in order to introduce and strengthen ideas about the tourism potential of Toya Village. The selfie phenomenon that is popular among the millennial generation can increase the attractiveness of an area as a valuable tourist destination. Therefore, the promotion of natural tourism objects in Toya Village needs to be carried out massively so that the potential of Toya Village's natural wealth is increasingly widely known, which ultimately has a positive impact on improving community welfare through the tourism sector. The use of digital media in promoting Toya Village tourism plays an important role in accelerating the dissemination of information about existing tourist destinations, considering that Toya Village, which is located in Aikmel District, East Lombok Regency, has stunning natural beauty. This activity uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through direct observation, interviews, literature studies, and visual documentation. Developing a communication strategy integrated with digital media is the right step in introducing the natural tourism potential of Toya Village to the public.

Abstract

This study assessed climate classification, hydrological conditions, and agricultural vulnerabilities in Pangkalpinang City, Bangka Belitung Province, Indonesia, using a 65-year (1959-2024) daily meteorological dataset. Climate classification revealed a dominant Af (Tropical Rainforest) type by the Köppen-Geiger method (occurring in 56 out of 66 years) with high precision (0.89-1.0) and a C1'As (perhumid mesothermal) classification predominating according to Thornthwaite (64 out of 66 years). Trend analysis showed a likely not significant temperature increase (approximately +0.02°C/year) and shifting precipitation patterns, with mean annual rainfall at 2289.84 mm and an annual precipitation concentration index (PCI) of 8.924, indicating a moderately irregular rainfall distribution. Hydrological analysis showed an average potential evapotranspiration (PET) of 0.284 mm, a soil moisture content of 99.751 mm, an average surface runoff of 4.577 mm, and 51 annual flood risk events, exhibiting a humid regime. Mean crop water requirement (CWR) was 4.857 relative units, and we observed a strong positive correlation (r=0.969) between the water requirement satisfaction index (WRSI) and crop water needs. The model validation exhibited a root mean square error (RMSE) between 0.1-0.5 and showed a stable Thornthwaite classification even with perturbations and the time series data analysis revealed the variability of parameters and a shift in temperature around the year 2000. These results emphasize the urgent need for localized climate adaptation strategies in Pangkalpinang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and describe the mathematical problem-solving ability before and after being taught using a project-based learning model.  This type of research is quasi-experimental with posttest-only control design. This research was conducted at SMK N 10 Merangin with a population of 169 grade X students and simple random sampling to provide equal opportunities for each member of the population to be selected as a sample. The selected samples were 28 students of class X Visual Communication Design (DKV) and 28 students of Engineering and Motorcycle Business 1 (TBSM 1). The research instrument in the form of an essay test totaling 5 items that have been tested for validity, and significance, with a medium and easy difficulty index according to the indicators of mathematical problem-solving ability and reliability. Data analysis technique with normality test using Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Hartley test for homogeneity. Data analysis obtained the score of mathematical problem-solving skills of the experimental class 49.39 and the control class 43.54. The mastery level of mathematical problem-solving skills of the experimental class was 81%, and the control class was 71.5%. Because the data is normally distributed and the variance is not homogeneous, the hypothesis test was obtained, and dan dengan > atau 3,848 > 1,771. So, it can be concluded that the Mathematical Problem-Solving Ability taught with project-based learning is better than conventional learning with the expository method for class X students of SMKN 10 Merangin in the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

The vast quantities of rice straw residue generated every year present both a challenge and an opportunity. To address the challenge, this work took the opportunity by transforming rice straw waste into eco-friendly silica gel. Synthesis of rice straw-based silica gel was via sol-gel method with the calcination temperature of 700 oC for 2 h and the addition of sodium hydroxide 2 molar. Characteristics of silica gel and its raw material have been investigated using several techniques such as FTIR, XRD, SEM, and BET surface area. The synthesized silica gel showed obvious peaks of Si-O-Si and O-H, aggregated smaller particles, crystal nature, and high surface area. This innovative work contributes to agricultural waste management and the circular economy for a sustainable future.
