Abstract

Javanese script is a cultural heritage of the Indonesian nation that has high historical, philosophical, and aesthetic value. However, in the context of education, student interest in learning Javanese script is still relatively low. Low student interest results in low Javanese script writing skills in students. Lack of Javanese script writing skills results in low student learning outcomes. This occurs because students have difficulty distinguishing the form of Javanese script that is almost similar, the lack of reading sources containing Javanese script, the lack of use of Javanese script in everyday life and the lack of learning media that is adaptive to the development of digital technology. These conditions require a solution, so in this study Rajagita Media becomes a solution to the problem of students' lack of skills in writing Javanese script and the low learning outcomes of writing Javanese script students of SMP Negeri 7 Madiun. This study aims to determine the process of implementing Rajagita media in learning to write Javanese script for grade IX students of SMP Negeri 7 Madiun which influences students' writing skills. This study used a quantitative approach with an experimental method, namely a Quasi-Experimental Design, applying a "post-test only control group design." The results of the study show that the process of implementing or using Rajagita media in the experimental class with the following steps: 1. Providing trigger questions in apperception, pre-test, introduction of Rajagita media and procedures for use, as well as group discussions and practice of writing Javanese script on various platforms independently by students, and discussions of various obstacles and challenges can have a significant impact on students' writing skills. These writing skills include neatness of writing, correct use of pairs and sandhangan, using scripts in words and sentences correctly. Students' writing skills have an impact on improving student learning outcomes. The increase in student learning outcomes is proven by the p-value = 0.000 <0.05, meaning the p-value is smaller than the significance level, so Ha is accepted, so the study shows that the use of Rajagita media has a positive effect on improving students' Javanese script writing skills. This is evidenced by the difference in the average post-test score in the experimental class using Rajagita media with a pre-test score of 68 and a post-test score of 68. 87, an increase of 19 points. The control class, which did not receive any treatment, had a pretest score of 67, increasing to 69, a 2-point increase. This difference in scores indicates that Rajagita media is effective as a learning medium in improving students' Javanese script writing skills. The conclusion of this study confirms that the process of using Rajagita media in learning has proven effective in developing students' Javanese script writing skills. The application of technology in education not only enriches learning methods but also contributes to the preservation of Javanese script and strengthening cultural literacy in the context of modern education.

Abstract

Keterampilan menulis teks argumentatif merupakan bagian penting dalam pengembangan literasi kritis siswa, namun masih menjadi tantangan di jenjang Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas aplikasi Quillbot dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks argumentatif siswa kelas XI SMK Muhammadiyah 7 Kedungpring. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen semu dengan desain nonequivalent control group. Sebanyak 40 siswa terlibat, terbagi dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol, masing-masing terdiri dari 20 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes tertulis (pra dan pascaperlakuan), observasi, serta dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji independent sample t-test dan perhitungan skor N-Gain menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 25. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen, dengan rata-rata skor meningkat dari 68,00 menjadi 84,10 dan skor N-Gain sebesar 78,42% (kategori tinggi). Kelompok kontrol mengalami peningkatan dari 66,20 menjadi 76,45 dengan skor N-Gain 53,75% (kategori sedang). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi Quillbot memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap struktur kalimat, ketepatan tata bahasa, dan pilihan diksi siswa dalam menulis teks argumentatif. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap inovasi pembelajaran menulis berbasis teknologi di SMK, serta membuka peluang pemanfaatan kecerdasan buatan dalam meningkatkan kualitas literasi akademik.

Abstract

Poetry, as a form of literary expression, not only offers aesthetic beauty through the arrangement of words but also contains profound meanings that represent values of life, culture, and education. In the context of modern Javanese literature, poetry serves as a reflective medium of the collective experiences of Javanese society amidst dynamic change. Modern Javanese poetry acts as a bridge between traditional heritage and modern awareness, combining artistic expression with moral messages.This study aims to examine the educational values embedded in modern Javanese poetry through the lens of Ki Hajar Dewantara’s educational philosophy. His seven fundamental principles—freedom, nature, culture, humanity, nationality, kinship, and student-centered education—serve as the theoretical framework for analysis. Through a literature review and hermeneutic approach, this research reveals that modern Javanese poetry holds transformative educational messages relevant to character development and cultural preservation.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of sixth-grade students at Alue Ie Itam Public Elementary School on the topic of "Belief in the Day of Judgment" through the application of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model. The study used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, implemented in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results showed that the implementation of PjBL increased the average student grade from 74.94 in Cycle I to 85.21 in Cycle II, with classical learning completion reaching 100% in Cycle II. The PjBL model was effective in improving students' understanding of the material and collaborative skills.

Abstract

Masase cedera merupakan salah satu keterampilan penting yang harus dimiliki guru PJOK sebagai upaya penanganan awal terhadap cedera olahraga yang sering terjadi pada peserta didik. Guru PJOK berperan penting dalam membimbing siswa dalam aktivitas fisik yang aman. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan keterampilan masase cedera olahraga dan pengetahuan serta pemahaman gizi seimbang untuk kebutuhan zat gizi dan monitoring pertumbuhan serta perkembangan siswa pada guru PJOK di Kabupaten Pasaman Barat melalui pelatihan yang terstruktur dan aplikatif. Metode dalam kegiatan ini melalui ceramah interaktif, sharing session dan praktek masase serta pendampingan langsung di bawah supervisi instruktur. Selama kegiatan juga dilakukan monitoring dan evaluasi terhadap capaian kegiatan dan peningkatan keterampilan masase peserta pelatihan. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan kuesioner diawal kegiatan dan diakhir kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta setelah mengikuti pelatihan, dengan rata-rata skor pre-test 58,25 dan rata-rata post-test 83,16 dibandingkan sebelum pelatihan dengan (p<0,05). Kesimpulan pada kegiatan pengabdian ini menegaskan bahwa pelatihan masase cedera dapat menjadi solusi efektif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru PJOK dalam memberikan pertolongan pertama, sehingga mendukung keselamatan dan kesehatan peserta didik dalam aktivitas olahraga.

Abstract

Seorang guru mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting dalam mengarahkan proses dan tujuan pembelajaran di kelas. Tujuan pembelajaran memerlukan arah yang jelas guna mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang telah dirancang sebelumnya. Seiring berjalannya waktu kualitas pembelajaran diharapkan semakin meningkat menyesuaikan dengan perkembangan zaman. Demikian pula mata pelajaran bahasa yang berperan dalam pembentukan karakter memerlukan perhatian khusus agar kualitas pembelajaran semakin meningkat. Dalam rangka mendukung Pergub Jatim no 19 tahun 2014, pembelajaran bahasa di Jawa Timur diajarkan dengan memperhatikan aspek pragmatis, atraktif, rekreatif, dan komunikatif mulai dari jenjang SD sampai dengan SMA. Maka dari itu, melalui pelatihan ini diharapkan guru mampu mengaplikasikan pembelajaran bahasa yang berkualitas. Guru bahasa dipilih karena memiliki peran strategis dalam melestarikan dan mengenalkan nilai-nilai karakter bangsa. Tujuan pelaksanaan penganbdian di Labschool Unesa yaitu untuk memberikan wawasan dan pengetahuan tentang pentingnya peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran bahasa yang selama ini kurang diperhatikan, serta ketrampilan menulis cerita sebagai wahana pembentuk karakter dan kesetaraan gender. Adapun yang menjadi sasaran pelatihan adalah guru SD mata pelajaran bahasa dengan berfokus pada bidang ketrampilan menulis, yakni menulis cerita anak. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan metode pelatihan secara intensif dengan melibatkan partisipasi aktif guru SD Labschool Unesa 1 dan 2 di ketintang dan Lidah Wetan. PKM dilaksanakan selama 5 bulan dengan menggunakan 4 bahasa dalam menulis cerita yakni bahasa Indonesia, Jawa, Inggris dan Jepang. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the language style in Djenar Maesa Ayu's short story "Mereka Bilang Saya Monyet" and explore its implications for Indonesian language learning in Phase F. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a textual analysis approach and a survey on student interest. The findings reveal that language styles such as metaphor, symbolism, irony, hyperbole, and repetition are strategically used to convey themes of dehumanization, trauma, and exploitation. This research is conducted in SMA A. Wahid Hasyim Jombang. The results highlight that the utilization of language style enhances students' critical thinking, interpretative skills, and aesthetic appreciation. Furthermore, most students demonstrated high interest in learning through this short story, although some struggled with its complex language style. The study concludes that this short story holds substantial potential as a critical literacy-based learning medium relevant to modern students' needs. Further research is recommended to develop adaptive teaching methods utilizing similar-themed literary works to enrich learning materials.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji nilai-nilai sufistik yang meliputi kesadaran kemanusiaan, pembebasan sosial, dan konstruksi moral sebagai fondasi pendidikan holistik yang mengintegrasikan dimensi spiritual dan sosial. Latar belakang penelitian berangkat dari pemahaman bahwa sufisme tidak hanya berfokus pada praktik ibadah individual, tetapi juga berperan dalam pembentukan karakter manusia yang utuh dan transformasi sosial. Kajian teori menggunakan pendekatan hermeneutikaprofetik, sebuah metode multidisiplin yang menggabungkan pengalaman spiritual dengan tafsir makna sosial dan etis dalam kehidupan manusia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif interpretatif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan analisis naratif terhadap pengalaman para praktisi sufistik, seperti Abuamin dan Moh. Supandi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan sufistik menghasilkan proses pembelajaran holistik yang menumbuhkan kesadaran kemanusiaan berdasarkan kedekatan spiritual dengan Tuhan, membangun pembebasan sosial melalui solidaritas dan kepedulian terhadap ketidakadilan, serta mengembangkan konstruksi moral yang berakar pada penyucian jiwa dan kebijaksanaan dalam bertindak. Dengan demikian, sufisme memberikan kontribusi penting dalam membentuk individu yang berakhlak mulia, empatik, dan aktif dalam membela kemanusiaan melalui integrasi antara dimensi spiritual dan sosial. Abstract

This research aims to explore children's understanding of social situations contained in children's novel narratives. This research uses a qualitative approach with text analysis to analyze and analyze the social situations that appear in children's novels. The sample of children's novels was purposively selected to cover a wide range of genres and publication periods. In this research, it was found that there were 200 understandings of social situations that appeared in the children's novels that were the research sample. These findings cover the various social contexts faced by child characters in the stories, including interactions with peers, family, teachers, as well as situations in school and society. This research contributes to our understanding of how children's social situation vocabulary is used and understood in the narrative context of children's novels. The discovery of this knowledge provides deeper insight into children's social development and contributes to children's literature and the study of children's literature.

Abstract

This research aims to determine students' responses in accepting new things related to mini-journalism using Japanese and at the same time determine students' abilities in implementing mini-journalism activities in Japanese. This research was carried out at one of the Job Training Institutes (LPK) Tulungagung Regency, East Java. The research subjects were LPK Tulungagung students in the Kaiwa class. Meanwhile, the object of the research is the recording of students conveying simple news using Japanese. This research method is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation and documentation. The results of this research skaiwa that from a journalistic perspective, there are students kaiwa understand the basics of journalism well enough so that kaiwa carrying out assignments, these students can present news quite well and creatively. Kaiwaever, there are still students kaiwa are considered not to fully understand the elements of news, so the presentation of the news cannot be described as detailed. Meanwhile, in terms of language, it is considered quite effective but not too significant.
