Abstract

Studi ini bermaksud untuk menyelidiki manajemen strategis lembaga pendidikan di era digital ini, menunjukkan dengan tepat kesulitan yang dihadapi, dan menyelidiki jalan potensial untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan saran kepada para manajer pendidikan tentang cara membuat dan menjalankan strategi yang secara efektif mengatasi dinamika dan perubahan era digital. Penelitian ini menggabungkan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur, dan teknik analisis konten digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa transformasi digital sistem pembelajaran menghadirkan sejumlah peluang dan masalah yang harus ditangani dengan baik oleh institusi pendidikan. Kebutuhan untuk mengevaluasi teknologi infrastruktur, memberikan pelatihan berkelanjutan kepada para guru, serta memperbarui peraturan dan kurikulum terkait teknologi merupakan beberapa kendala utama, keterlibatan pemangku kepentingan, bantuan teknis yang memadai, dan pendekatan yang mudah beradaptasi sangat penting untuk mengatasi kendala ini. Namun, era digital menghadirkan beberapa keuntungan, termasuk gamifikasi dan teknik pembelajaran interaktif, analisis untuk melacak kemajuan siswa, personalisasi pembelajaran, dan akses ke sumber daya pembelajaran di seluruh dunia. Dengan memanfaatkan peluang ini, institusi pendidikan dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, merampingkan operasi, dan mempersonalisasi instruksi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Pendekatan yang efisien untuk mengatasi hambatan dan memanfaatkan peluang akan memfasilitasi adaptasi yang sukses di era digital ini, memaksimalkan hasil pendidikan dan pengalaman belajar

Abstract

Hakikat pendidikan merupakan sarana dimana seseorang mendapatkan ilmu pengetahuan dimanapun dan kapanpun berada, tinggal melihat lagi upaya seseorang dalam mendapatkan dan memperoleh ilmu pengetahuan tersebut. Apabila berfokus pada pendidikan formal, maka hal ini dapat kita temui pada lembaga sekolah. Sekolah merupakan suatu organisasi yang memiliki sebuah sistem di dalamnya yang dikelola melalui kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan diikuti oleh warga sekolah yang turut berpartisipasi dan berkontribusi dalam mensukseskan program-program sekolah seefektif mungkin dalam mencapai mutu pendidikan yang baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui propses implementasi yang dilakukan dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan sekolah. Penelitian yang digunakan dalam hal ini ialah penelitian studi kepustakaan, yakni dengan mencari beberapa sumber kepustakaan yang berkaitan dengan penelitian, misalnya seperti melalui buku-buku dan jurnal-jurnal, dan sumber kepustakaan lainnya. Setelah itu akan dilakukan analisis dan penyaringan hingga mendapatkan hasil yang konkret. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan berdasarkan analisis dari beberapa sumber , yakni perencanaan strategis merupakan sebuah rancangan yang telah persiapkan seoptimal mungkin melalui tim yang telah dibentuk oleh sekolah dalam menyusunnya berupa program-program dan hal-hal yang berkaitan di dalamnya. Hal ini juga tidak terlepas dari peran kepala sekolah dalam melakukan manajemen dan mempengaruhi para bawahannya agar turut berkontribusi dalam mengimplementasikan perencanaan strategi agar menghasilkan mutu pendidikan sekolah yang berkualitas

Abstract

This research aims to determine: (1) The duties and responsibilities of parents and teachers regarding students' learning motivation at school; (2) Forms of collaboration between parents and teachers in increasing students' learning motivation at school; This research is field research (Field Research) with qualitative descriptive methods. Data collection tools in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are: (1) The duties and responsibilities of parents in increasing students' learning motivation at school are almost the same as the duties and responsibilities of a teacher, only the duties and responsibilities of parents are more comprehensive than to teachers because children spend more time at home than at school. The duties and responsibilities of teachers in increasing students' learning motivation at school are as professional educators, as facilitators, as educators, as counselors, as motivators; (2) Forms of collaboration between parents and teachers are parents participating in school meetings, creating WhatsApp groups, visiting parents of students with educators.

Abstract

The research aimed to describe (1) the correlation between principal leadership and teacher commitment, (2) the partial influence of principal leadership on teacher performance, (3) the partial influence of teacher commitment on teacher performance, and (4) the influence of principal leadership and commitment on teachers simultaneously on teacher performance. It used a quantitative approach with the relationship pattern between variables depicted in the path diagram. The population was 482 teachers from 53 schools, while the sample was 144 teachers selected from each school based on a proportional formula. The Likert scale questionnaire was validated and reliable and facilitated data collection. By using path analysis techniques, research data was processed. The results of the research revealed that a summary of the hypotheses was (1) there is a correlation between principal leadership and teacher commitment, (2) there is a direct influence of principal leadership and teachers on teacher performance, and (3) there is an indirect influence of principal leadership and teacher commitment on teacher performance. 1.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the influence of learning supervision and work motivation on the work commitment of public junior high schools in Padang City. The hypotheses proposed in this research are (1) the significant influence of learning supervision on work commitment, (2) the significant influence of work motivation on work commitment, and (3) the significant influence of learning supervision and work motivation on work commitment. The comprised population for this research was all civil servant teachers at junior high schools in Padang City, totaling 1247 people. The research sample consisted of 157 teachers using the cluster random sampling technique. The research used assessment scales and Likert scale model questionnaires as instruments. In addition, the data was analyzed using analytical techniques. The results indicate that the amount of work a teacher has can influence their level of work commitment. The level of achievement in supervision can increase teacher work commitment, and improving learning supervision and enhancing work motivation can increase work commitment.

Abstract

The school principal's leadership is an essential value in realizing quality education. This research is qualitative and based on a multi-site study. The research results show that the principal of Al Azhar 32 Islamic Junior High School Padang carries out various strategies to improve the school’s quality by having good relationships with parents through approaches in supporting school programs, running programs that will enhance religious and moral values, conducting training for teachers to improve the quality of teaching, and always involving students in competitions. Meanwhile, the principal of Jhons Febby Islamic Junior High School conducts systemic planning and evaluation of school programs, implements open communication with school staff, has superior programs, and strengthens cooperation and collaboration between school staff.

Abstract

This research aimed to reveal the influence of interpersonal communication and school climate on teacher performance. This research employed a quantitative correlational design of an associative type. The population in this research consisted of all teachers with civil servant (ASN) status at elementary schools in Sungai Aur District, totaling 219 teachers from 20 elementary schools. The sample was determined using the Cochran formula. The sampling technique used was proportionally stratified random sampling. The research instrument used a Likert scale questionnaire with five alternative answers. The data analysis technique was done using multiple linear regression tests processed using SPSS version 25. The results of the research data analysis indicated that 1) interpersonal communication influenced teacher performance by 73.6%, 2) school climate influenced teacher performance by 74.2%, and 3) interpersonal communication and school climate influenced teacher performance by 79.3%.

Abstract

This research aimed to obtain data and information about the contribution of instructional leadership to teacher performance, teacher work discipline to teacher performance, and the contribution of instructional leadership and teacher work discipline to teacher performance at Islamic state junior high school in Pariaman City. This research was quantitative and correlational with the associative type. The population was 116 civil servant teachers. The sample was determined using the Cochran formula with an error rate of 10%, and the stratified proportional random sampling technique was used to obtain 58 teachers. The research instrument was a questionnaire with five alternative answers. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression tests processed in SPSS version 26. The data analysis showed a significant contribution of instructional leadership and teacher performance, between teacher work discipline and teacher performance, and between instructional leadership and teacher work discipline to teacher performance. Instructional leadership contributes significantly to teacher performance. The better the instructional leadership shown, the better the performance of Islamic state junior high school teachers in Pariaman City. Also, teacher work discipline contributes significantly to teacher performance. The better the teacher’s work discipline, the better the performance of Islamic state junior high school teachers.

Abstract

This research employed a quantitative method to analyze the direct and indirect effects of principals' intellectual stimulation, digital literacy, and self-efficacy on teachers' innovative behavior. Data were collected from 85 public elementary school teachers in West Pasaman Regency through a questionnaire and analyzed using SEMPLS. The results indicated a direct positive effect of the principals' intellectual stimulation (5.8%), digital literacy (52.8%), and self-efficacy (26.7%) on teachers' innovative behavior. In addition, principals' intellectual stimulation (28.4%) and digital literacy (64.9%) also positively affected self-efficacy. The indirect pathway, through self-efficacy, showed that principals' intellectual stimulation contributed 7.6% to teachers' innovative behavior, and digital literacy contributed 17.3% indirectly. These findings confirm that the principals' intellectual stimulation, digital literacy, and self-efficacy are crucial factors that can encourage teachers' innovative behavior. The findings indicate that the principal’s intellectual stimulation, digital literacy, and self-efficacy are three factors that can influence teachers’ innovative behavior.

Abstract

This article analyzes teachers’ perceptions of the principal’s leadership style at Public Elementary School 28 in Sungai Lansak, Sijunjung. The study was conducted in 2021 using a quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results indicated that the principal’s leadership was reflected through four dimensions of Transformational Leadership Theory: idealized influence, intellectual stimulation, inspirational motivation, and individualized consideration. Data analysis showed that teachers perceived the principal’s leadership style as very good across all four dimensions. The findings suggest that effective transformational leadership positively shapes teachers’ perceptions and supports school management.
