Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the impact of interactive multimedia on the reading comprehension skills of fourth-grade students at SDN Ketegan. The study involved 30 students and employed a one-group pretest-posttest design with a quantitative experimental approach. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test description questions. Statistical analysis revealed a significant improvement in students' reading comprehension skills, with a mean pretest score of 57.08 and a posttest score of 84.50. These findings indicate the positive influence of interactive multimedia on students' reading skills. The results emphasize the potential of interactive multimedia as an effective tool for enhancing reading comprehension abilities among elementary school students. Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the influence of animated video media on the short story writing skills of grade IV students at SDN 1 Paciran. The research followed a quantitative experimental approach, utilizing a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population comprised 30 students, and a saturated sampling technique was employed, including all students. Data analysis involved normality tests and paired t-tests. The results of the normality test indicated that the data was normally distributed, as the p-values for both the pretest and posttest were greater than 0.05. The paired t-test analysis revealed a significant improvement in short story writing skills, with a significance value (1-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. The findings suggest that the use of animated video media positively influences the development of short story writing skills in grade IV students. This study holds implications for educators and curriculum designers, highlighting the potential of animated video media as an effective tool in enhancing students' writing abilities. Abstract

This quantitative study aimed to examine the relationship between student anxiety and mathematics learning outcomes among fourth-grade students at SDN Sugihwaras Candi during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research employed a survey method with a saturated sampling technique, resulting in a sample size of 60 fourth-grade students. Hypothesis testing was conducted using a correlation test, and the results revealed a significant negative relationship (-0.718) between student anxiety and mathematics learning outcomes. The findings indicate a strong association between higher levels of anxiety and lower achievement in mathematics among fourth-grade students during the Covid-19 pandemic. These results emphasize the need for interventions and support to address student anxiety, as it can significantly impact their academic performance in mathematics. Abstract

This research investigates the impact of utilizing the learning media "Articulate Storyline" on the motivation of fourth-grade students in SDN Sekardangan. Recognizing the prevalence of motivation issues among students, this study employs an experimental approach with a "one group pretest posttest design" to examine the relationship between learning media and student motivation. The data was collected through a social studies learning motivation questionnaire administered to the research sample. The findings demonstrate a significant positive effect of implementing Articulate Storyline on student learning, highlighting its potential as an effective tool for enhancing motivation in educational settings. The implications of these results offer valuable insights for educators and policymakers aiming to foster a conducive learning environment. Abstract

COMMUNİTY SERVİCES: IMPROVİNG TEACHER COMPETENCE İN THE IDENTİFİCATİON PROCESS OF STUDENTS WİTH SPECİAL NEEDS AT SLB AİSYİYAH PORONG. Special school (SLB) is a form of formal education that is devoted to managing students who have special needs both in terms of development and academics. The various types of disabilities or special needs of these students require a thorough and comprehensive theoretical understanding of the behavioral characteristics of each type. This makes every teacher who teaches in special schools is required to have the ability and sensitivity in identifying students based on their distinctive behavioral characteristics. Whereas in SLB 'Aisyiyah Porong, in practice there is still no system for identifying students with special needs who register as new students based on the distinctive characteristics of each student. So that the need for competency development is related to theoretical understanding and then the practice of identifying prospective students becomes greater. This can be used as an initial milestone in the development of appropriate learning tools and according to the characteristics and abilities of each student

Abstract

Marbel Reading Educational Game Application is an application that aims to help its users learn while playing. This study aims to determine how the influence of the "Marbel Reading" Game Application on the Beginning Reading Ability of Grade 1 Students. This type of research is a quantitative research with a pre-experimental research method One Group Pretest-Postest using all first grade students of SD Islam Nurul Hikam Banjarbendo. consisting of 20 students. Sampling with non-probability techniques. The research instrument used was in the form of multiple choice test questions regarding early reading skills. Data analysis using normality test, t-test, and eta square test. Based on the results of the pretest-posttest get an average value of 31.80. The minimum score is 55.7. The maximum score is 87.5, the statistical standard deviation is 12,547, and the standard deviation error is 2.806. The results of the paired sample t-test concluded that the value was 0.000, meaning the value of sig <0.05, then there was an effect of variable X on variable Y. Then the eta-square test concluded that the value was 0.244, which means the value of sig t 0.14 means that there is a big influence. It is hoped that the results of this study can have a positive impact on its users. The use of the Marbel Reading application is suitable for low grade students to help maximize their early reading skills.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the participation of female students at IV A SD Kemala Bhayangkari 10 Porong. This research is a qualitative critical research. The subject of this study was fourth grade students of SD Kemala Bhayangkari 10 Porong. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis in this study uses domain analysis, compound analysis, taxonomy analysis and theme analysis. Data validity techniques using technical triangulation. The results showed that the participation of female students in grade IV A SD Kemala Bhayangkari 10 Porong was low. Internal factors that influence the low participation of female students in grade IV A are psycological factors, namely the interest of female students based on the attitude of subjects. External factors that influence the low participation of female students in grade IV A are school factors, namely the stereotype of male students towards female students’ intellectual and symbolic violence in the relationship between teacher and child.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using skimming techniques and describe the use of skimming techniques in understanding the reading content of elementary students. This study uses the System Literature Review (SLR) research method. From the results of several studies that have been successfully reviewed, it shows that the use of skimming techniques in understanding reading content is the right technique to use in understanding reading content because skimming techniques can increase students' knowledge of reading more. The use of skimming techniques can be done in the first way, having questions to look for, reading book titles and subtitles, reading with rapid eye movements, understanding sentences in the reading, then being able to draw conclusions. Based on the analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that the use of skimming techniques has a very good effect on students 'reading comprehension and can be an alternative or method to help improve reading content comprehension and broaden students' knowledge.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the process of skimming techniques for elementary school students to improve their reading skills. This study uses a literature study approach using systematic literature review (SLR) method. The subject is a journal derived from google scholar with research limitations of elementary school students that have been analyzed by researchers. Based on the results of Eve's research that there is an improvement in reading skills in Indonesian lessons for students. This can be seen from the first and second cycles of active students, educators as well as student learning outcomes. The first cycle of the number of grades for the observation of students' activeness, the score obtained by 62.5% with sufficient predicate. While in the second cycle the number of scores obtained on the activeness of students learning scored 87.5% with a good predicate and very good. According to the results of muhtar research that after the analysis of t- test paired obtained that there is an influence of the application of skimming techniques to the reading ability of students. According to the results of fitria research based on the results of the average ability to read quickly by skimming on a sample of 16 students, which is adjusted to the percentage interval scale of five to know the level of ability of students. After adjusting to the five-scale score interval, it is known to obtain a score of 95.25%, therefore this score falls into the category Excellent. It can be proven that the ability of students at the time of quick reading by using skimming techniques is included in the category of very good during the test of quick reading and in understanding the content of the text readingFrom the results of analyzing research that has been done previously conducted by Hawa, Muhtar, and Fitria that skimming techniques can help students' ability to read quickly in Indonesian lessons.

Abstract

Bullying is an act that is currently happening and being discussed. Several cases of bullying occur in society, both in the social and educational world, which makes various parties more concerned, including the child protection commission, causing several negative impacts for the victims and also the perpetrators of bullying themselves. Various ways have been done to minimize the incidence of bullying in schools, including one of the National Commission for Child Protection urging the school to better protect and pay attention to their students. Theoretically, this research is useful to increase knowledge and broaden the horizons of researchers in the field of analyzing cases of bullying against Children with Special Needs (ABK). Practically, this research can provide recommendations or descriptions and views for readers, especially for parents and teachers in fostering good communication relationships with children and students who have special needs so that they can help to develop themselves optimally. This research is a qualitative approach with a case study method based on the philosophy of postpositivism, which is used to examine the condition of a natural object, where the researcher is the key instrument, the sampling of data sources is carried out purposively and snowballing, the collection technique is triangulation (combined). . The results of the research conducted among the types of bullying that often occur in Children with Special Needs at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Tulangan include being pushed, fooled, insulted, threatened, humiliated, and ostracized. In overcoming these problems the teacher provides reinforcement for Children with Special Needs (ABK) to be stronger mentally and physically to deal with bullying cases that occur in Children with Special Needs (ABK) and non-ABK. Special Needs (ABK) and non-ABK. For teachers to pay more attention and get closer to students who experience bullying in order to help solve problems that occur at school.
