Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of social interaction that starts early. So that special assistant teachers play a role in improving the social interaction skills of speech delay students. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the role of the special assistant teacher to the social interaction of speech delay students and the obstacles of the special assistant teacher (GPK) in implementing their duties on the social interaction of speech delay students. The researcher uses a case study qualitative research method. Data collection techniques used are non-participant observation, structured interviews, and documentation. The research subjects are special accompanying teachers and their accompanying speech delay students. The result of the research is that special assistant teachers play a role in social interaction by accompanying students, ensuring student activity and guiding students to be able to socialize by slowly eliminating their egocentric nature. The obstacle for GPK in implementing its duties is that when the ATF is critical, it is difficult to accept suggestions from others. So that it can be said that social interactions arise due to imitation factors and suggestions given by GPK.

Abstract

The low interest in reading in students greatly affects the ability to read early. The effect of the multimedia based glenn doman method on the reading interest of elementary school students in grade II at SDN Ketegan. the method developed by glenn doman utilizes multimedia technology, by teaching students to read and recognize letters with flash card. So that students will have the ability to be confident, imaginative and creative. this method is designed or created with the aim of making teachers, students and parents more aware and understanding how to learn to read the beginning. The main purpose of this multimedia based method, is to increase the reading interest of elementary school students who are very low and experiencing a decline. It is also expected that after students understand this method. this study aims to apply research method using quantitative research methods. sampling and data collection techniques used research instruments, namely questionnaire sheets and pretest and posttest test sheets to determine the results of early reading interest in second grade students of SDN Ketegan. To find out how much influence the use of the multimedia based glann doman method on early reading interest in students.

Abstract

This study investigates the association between reading interest and reading comprehension ability among fifth-grade students at BalongGabus Candi State Elementary School. Employing a quantitative correlational approach, data collection involved questionnaires and comprehension tests for 23 students. The computed correlation coefficient (r = 0.756) demonstrated a robust relationship between the two variables, signifying a 57.15% connection strength. This significant finding suggests that reading interest greatly influences reading comprehension prowess in this cohort. Highlights: Strong Correlation: A robust correlation coefficient (r = 0.756) highlights a substantial and positive relationship between reading interest and reading comprehension ability among fifth-grade students. Influential Factors: The study underscores the significance of reading interest as a determining factor in enhancing reading comprehension skills among young learners. Quantitative Insights: Employing a quantitative approach with a sample of 23 fifth graders, this research provides valuable insights into the interplay between reading engagement and comprehension proficiency. Abstract

This quantitative study aimed to investigate the effect of YouTube media on the intensive listening skills of third-grade students at SDN Cemeng Bakalan 2. A pre-experimental design with a One Group Pretest-Posttest research design was employed, using a saturated sample of 17 class III students. Data was collected through pretest and posttest evaluations of intensive listening skills. The results revealed a significant effect of YouTube media on the students' listening abilities, as demonstrated by the hypothesis test with a significance level of α = 0.05. With a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05, Ho was rejected, and Ha was accepted, indicating that learning using YouTube media resulted in noticeable improvements in the intensive listening skills of third-grade students. These findings hold implications for educators seeking innovative approaches to foster effective listening skills among young learners. Highlights: Significant Improvement: The study demonstrates a substantial enhancement in intensive listening skills among third-grade students through the use of YouTube media. Quantitative Research Approach: The research adopts a pre-experimental design method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest to measure the impact of YouTube media on student listening abilities. This qualitative case study research investigates the implementation of an independent character education strengthening program at an elementary school. Focused on Class V-A students, teachers, and the principal at the school, the study employs interviews, observations, and documentation for data collection, with triangulation for data validity. Utilizing Miles and Huberman's techniques for analysis, the research highlights the significance of independent character education for the school community, evident through indicators, subject matter integration, and school culture. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using AdobeFlash media on the interest in social studies learning for grade VI students at SDNKepatihan 1. This study used a quantitative research method of Pre ExperimentalDesign with the form of design used was One Group Pretest-Posttest. Thepopulation in this study were all students of class VI SDN Kepatihan 1 totaling 29.The sample was taken using saturated sampling with a sample of 29 students. Thedata collection technique used is a test, namely the Likert psychological testinstrument. The results of the hypothesis test using the test Paired Sample T-Test.In the one-tailed hypothesis test to the right of interest in learning, the value is0.000 <0.05, then H0 is rejected, H1 is accepted, so it can be concluded that there isa positive and significant influence in the use of Adobe Flash media on the interestin learning social studies for grade VI students of SDN Kepatihan 1. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Augmented Reality terhadap peningkatan membaca permulaan siswa kelas 1 SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan pre-experimental one group pretest-postes design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SDN Gelam 1 Candi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu angket yang menggunakan skala Likert yang diberikan melalui pretest dan posttest. Data dari penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan uji prasyarat dengan uji normalitas. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui hasil uji t-test yang telah dilakukan dengan program SPSS, maka didapat pada nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) yaitu 0,00 yang artinya lebih kecil dari 0,05. Maka dilihat dari dasar pengambilan keputusan uji t yaitu jika nilai signifikan (2-tailed) lebih kecil dari 0,05, maka Ha diterima yang berarti terdapat pengaruh pada Augmented Reality terhadap peningkatan membaca permulaan siswa kelas 1 SD.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media audio visual berbasis digital dalam menulis kalimat rumpang pada siswa SD Negeri 1 Gelam Kecamatan Candi Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Adapun yang menjadi variabel pada penelitian ini adalah media audio visual sebagai variable bebas, sedangkan hasil belajar siswa sebagai variable terikat. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif; dan analisis statistika inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar sebelum menggunakan media audio visual berbasis digital menunjukkan rata-rata 60,80; kemudian rata-rata hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan media audio visual adalah 79,20. Hal ini menunjukkan nilai peserta didik mengalami peningkatan nilai rata-rata sebesar 18,40. Dan pengaruh penggunaan media audio visual sangat berpengaruh; Jika ditinjau dari persentase ketuntasan peserta didik dapat dikategorikan dalam “Sangat Berpengaruh” jika dibandingkan dengan sebelum menggunakan media audio visual.

Abstract

Special schools (SLB) are a form of formal education that is devoted to managing students with special needs in terms of their development and academics. The various types of special needs of these students require a comprehensive theoretical understanding of the behavioral characteristics of each type. This makes teachers who teach in special schools are required to have the ability and sensitivity in identifying students based on their distinctive behavioral characteristics. This service activity aims to provide knowledge to teachers about the characteristics of students with special needs and the importance of the identification process in the teaching and learning process. The method used is psychoeducational activities regarding the characteristics of students with special needs. The results of this activity indicate that there is an increase in the understanding of teachers regarding the characteristics, behavioral characteristics and special potential of each type of disability of students with special needs

Abstract

This article aims to examine strengthening student character education in forming noble morals through school culture. This study is based on the implementation of character strengthening that has been developed in elementary schools, but has not shown optimal results. One of the causes is the implementation of character education which runs partially and focuses only on classroom learning. The implementation of character education in schools should be comprehensive, meaning that the program must be supported by activities outside the classroom which include extra-curricular co-curricular programs and the development of school culture. Character education through developing school culture is carried out using two approaches, namely the structural and cultural approaches. The implementation of character education based on school culture is implemented using modeling, teaching and environmental strengthening strategies. Character education can be effective and successful if it is carried out integrally starting from the household, school and community environment. Characters that must be instilled in students include love for Allah and the universe, responsibility, discipline and independence, honesty, respect and politeness, compassion, caring and cooperation, self-confidence, creativity, hard work and never giving up, justice and leadership, kindness and humility, tolerance, love, peace and unity. Meanwhile, noble morals are all human habits that originate within the self which are driven by conscious desire and are reflected in good deeds.
