Abstract

In an era where artificial intelligence is redefining the global educational landscape, Indonesia stands at a critical juncture—torn between opportunity and inequity. This study explores the transformative potential of ChatGPT as an educative and pedagogical tool in international schools across the Indonesian archipelago, highlighting its promise to personalize learning, reduce teacher burnout, and democratize access to knowledge. Yet, this promise is tempered by systemic barriers: rural-urban divides, limited infrastructure, fragmented policy, and cultural misalignments. Through a qualitative, multi-site investigation grounded in constructivist and connectivist theories, the study captures the real-world integration of AI in Indonesian classrooms—where innovation often outpaces regulation. Data from pilot programs and classroom observations reveal that, when localized and ethically scaffolded, ChatGPT can enhance student engagement, foster cognitive autonomy, and empower teachers as co-designers of learning. However, without national strategies to ensure equity, inclusivity, and ethical oversight, AI risks becoming a new vector for educational disparity. This paper offers a bold roadmap for action—centering on teacher training, infrastructure justice, and culturally embedded AI policies—to ensure that ChatGPT does not become a privilege of the few, but a transformative catalyst for all. In Indonesia’s hands, AI need not be a mirror of global inequality; it can become a beacon of inclusive, human-centered education.

Abstract

Coffee in Saudi Arabia is far more than a beverage; it is a vibrant tapestry of heritage, social cohesion, and economic ambition. This study examines the profound interplay between coffee (qahwa) and Saudi identity, tracing its historical roots from 15th-century trade routes to its modern-day role as a pillar of cultural and economic resilience. Through a mixed-method approach—including qualitative interviews, ethnographic observations, and literature analysis—the research unveils how coffee rituals, such as the Bedouin Ghawah ceremony, embody symbolic interactionism and communitas, fostering trust and unity in a collectivist society. Over 94% of Saudi households uphold coffee hospitality as a moral obligation, while 72% of youth frequent coffeehouses (maqha) weekly, bridging generational divides. Economically, the sector thrives as a Vision 2030 priority: the $1.54 billion market grows at 5.12% annually, with the Saudi Coffee Company targeting 2,500 tons of domestic production and 8,000 jobs by 2030 (Statista, 2025; PIF, 2022). UNESCO’s 2021 recognition of Arabic coffee as Intangible Heritage underscores its global legacy, while sustainable practices and coffee tourism offer pathways for economic diversification. Policymakers, economists, and cultural custodians will find here a blueprint for harmonizing heritage with progress, ensuring that every cup of qahwa brews a future as rich as its past.

Abstract

Specialty coffee entrepreneurship in Saudi Arabia has emerged as a dynamic catalyst for economic diversification, cultural preservation, and sustainable development under Vision 2030. This study examines how youth-led ventures, supported by a $320 million Public Investment Fund initiative, are revitalizing traditional gahwa rituals while driving a $1.54 billion market projected to grow at 5.1% annually (Maspul, 2025; Arab News, 2023). Through qualitative analysis of stakeholder interviews, ethnographic case studies, and policy documents, the research reveals a sector where 72% of young Saudis engage weekly with coffeehouses, 37% of the workforce is female, and CRISPR-engineered drought-resistant crops combat climate threats in Jazan. Digital platforms like COFE App bridge heritage and modernity, while UNESCO-recognized Khawlani coffee fosters global soft power. The findings underscore coffee’s role in advancing gender equity, circular economies (e.g., 30% waste reduction via biodegradable packaging), and halal-certified exports targeting a $3.2 trillion market. Policy recommendations prioritize youth training academies, climate-smart agriculture, and strategic global partnerships. This study positions Saudi Arabia’s coffee renaissance as a blueprint for reconciling tradition with innovation, offering lessons in community resilience and sustainable growth for economies worldwide.

Abstract

Autism Artisan Cooperatives (AACs) in Malaysia redefine neuro-inclusive prosperity by transforming autistic adults’ sensory strengths into economic and cultural power. Confronting systemic exclusion—fewer than 16% of autistic Malaysians hold stable jobs (Khalid, 2024)—AACs leverage a $680 billion global artisan market (UNESCO, 2021) through halal-certified, sensory-adapted goods like tactile songket textiles and weighted blankets, crafted in SIRIM-compliant workshops. Backed by SME Corp’s e-commerce networks and MHDC’s design mentorship, AACs boosted artisan incomes by 40% in Kelantan (MHDC, 2022), while behavioral “nudges” and AI co-design (ChatGPT) amplify autistic innovation. Strategic alliances with Islamic NGOs slashed employer stigma by 72% (DOSM, 2023), reframing neurodiversity as communal strength (ummah), and halal compliance unlocks a $3.2 trillion global market (State of the Global Islamic Economy, 2022). Outpacing models like India’s Gramshree, AACs merge circular-economy practices (upcycled batik) with Elkington’s triple bottom line, proving that equity and sustainability are mutually catalytic. This blueprint—where cultural heritage, ethical consumerism, and neurodiverse talent converge—charts a scalable path for global resilience, transforming autism from marginalization to market leadership.

Abstract

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), affecting 1 in 36 U.S. children, presents profound feeding challenges—extreme food selectivity, sensory aversions, and mealtime meltdowns—that strain caregivers and jeopardize child health. Over 70% of caregivers report clinically significant stress, exacerbated by healthcare systems offering generic, neurologically disconnected dietary advice. This study introduces Feeding Assistant for Children with ASD, a personalized AI assistant grounded in the SPELL framework (Structure, Positive approaches, Empathy, Low arousal, Links) and health behavior theories (Social Cognitive Theory, Ecological Systems Theory). Built via participatory co-design with families, clinicians, and AI engineers, the tool delivers culturally sensitive, context-aware nutrition planning and feeding strategies. Over six weeks, a case study with a neurodiverse family demonstrated reduced caregiver stress (quantified via validated scales) and fewer mealtime refusals, validated through mixed-method analysis. The AI’s empathetic tone, structured routines, and sensory-sensitive recommendations align with neurobiological insights, such as atypical connectivity in the amygdala and insula. Ethical safeguards—privacy protocols, bias mitigation, and cultural inclusivity—ensure dignity-centered care. Results advocate for systemic integration of AI into national health strategies, emphasizing equitable access, interdisciplinary training, and policy reforms to bridge gaps in ASD care. This AI model redefines technology's function as both a practical ally and an emotional anchor, building resilience in neurodiverse households.

Abstract

Addressing family violence in Al Qassim is critical for ensuring the well-being of children and encouraging stable households. This study explores effective professional interventions and innovative ways to protect and support families affected by violence, while considering the difficulties and critical aspects involved in their implementation. Family therapy, community education programs, trauma-informed care, and counseling services are described as useful interventions that improve communication, resolve problems, and create healthy relationships within families by the Osrah organization. Furthermore, technology-based therapies and arts-based therapy provide novel approaches to closing service gaps and promoting healing and resilience. Community empowerment, education programs, economic opportunities, and constant review are all part of long-term solutions. Al Qassim, specifically in Buraydah, may build a safer and more supportive environment by prioritizing the well-being of children and families and applying these techniques, fostering strong relationships within the community.

Abstract

In the shadow of global silence, the Uyghur crisis in Xinjiang emerges not merely as a regional atrocity, but as a harrowing blueprint for 21st-century digital authoritarianism. This paper confronts China’s systematic campaign of Uyghur identity erasure—through mass internment, linguistic imperialism, forced labor, and AI-powered surveillance—and positions it as a defining inflection point for the global human rights order. Drawing from Gramsci’s theory of cultural hegemony, Phillipson’s linguistic imperialism, and Wallerstein’s world-systems theory, the study constructs a powerful interdisciplinary analysis that connects cultural domination with economic coercion and digital repression. Through comparative historical parallels and contemporary legal frameworks, the paper argues that China’s actions constitute crimes against humanity and cultural genocide. Yet this is more than a diagnosis—it is a call to action. The study calls on the world community to move beyond rhetoric and toward coordinated justice by laying out a bold, multi-pronged opposition strategy that includes legal responsibility, economic sanctions, educational resilience, media activism, and cybersecurity. In doing so, it reframes Xinjiang not as China’s internal matter, but as the world’s moral reckoning. The survival of Uyghur identity, and the credibility of human rights in the digital age, depend on our collective will to confront this dystopian template of repression—and dismantle it.
