Abstract

The growing public awareness of healthy lifestyles presents a strategic opportunity for complementary therapy service providers to innovate through nutrition-based services. This study aims to identify customer perceptions and preferences regarding the integration of healthy food services into Griya Sehat Annaba Makassar, analyze its strengths and challenges, and formulate optimal implementation strategies. Employing a Quantitative methods approach, primary data were collected through questionnaires from 96 clients and Focus Group Discussion with five key participants, including the owner and therapists. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, validity and reliability testing, and strategic mapping through SWOT, TOWS, and QSPM approaches through Focus Group Discussion. The findings indicate that most clients have a favorable perception and high interest in the healthy food service, with trust in therapists and perceived health benefits serving as key determinants. The prioritized strategy emphasizes the development of personalized therapy-based services and collaboration with local partners. The study contributes theoretically to the development of nutrition-based alternative health service integration through a consumer behavior perspective. It offers a practical strategic model for community-based health service providers and entrepreneurs. It also recommends expanding digital-based services and strengthening human resource training as a means of enhancing the sustainability of the integration system.

Abstract

This study aims to test the hypothesis regarding the variables that form premium pricing for guesthouses in West Denpasar, Bali. The theories applied in this research are service marketing theory, with an in-depth analysis of the Flower of Services and Shostack’s Molecular Model. The study employs Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Data was collected through the distribution of structured questionnaires. The population of this study consists of visitors to Andakasa Residence guesthouse during the 2022-2023 period, totaling 178 individuals. The sample size was 124 respondents, determined through probability sampling using the simple random sampling technique with a 5% margin of error. The results indicate that the indicators Information, Hospitality, Safekeeping, Exceptions, Essential Evidence, Distribution Strategy, Pricing Strategy, and Service Elements contribute to premium pricing. In contrast, Order Taking, Billing, Payment, Consultation, Advertising Strategy, and Product Elements do not form premium pricing for guesthouses in West Denpasar, Bali. It is hoped that these findings can provide insights for guesthouse owners in West Denpasar, particularly Andakasa Residence, to improve their services and establish premium pricing based on the variables examined in this study.

Abstract

A farmer cooperative, Akar Tani (KAT) in Bantaeng, South Sulawesi, experienced declining active membership (100 to 74) and reduced coffee output (12 to 8 tons/year), alongside governance problems that weakened members’ trust due to delayed payments and poor records. This study examines how change management was enacted through organizational restructuring and identifies the key barriers that shaped the change trajectory. Using a qualitative case study design, we interviewed 11 informants (cooperative administrators, members, and external mentors), complemented by observations and document review. Data were analyzed iteratively using Miles and Huberman’s approach supported by NVivo. The findings show that barriers were driven less by rejection of cooperative goals and more by uneven digital literacy, entrenched work habits, fragmented internal communication, and sensitivity around administrative–financial transparency. Restructuring actions aligned with Kotter’s change stages, particularly capacity-building through practice-based training, multi-channel communication, clearer role division and SOPs, and early visible improvements in payment orderliness and financial information. This study contributes by extending change-management evidence to sustainability-oriented farmer cooperatives where trust recovery and collective learning are central mechanisms of restructuring. The practical implication is that cooperatives should prioritize transparency as a trust foundation while adopting gradual hybrid digitalization matched to members’ readiness. This research is limited to a single cooperative and does not track long-term quantitative performance outcomes; future studies may compare multiple cooperatives and assess digital readiness trajectories over time

Abstract

The aesthetic clinic industry in Surabaya is characterized by intense competition, homogeneous treatment offerings, price-driven promotions, and growing customer expectations for transparent and personalized services. This study aimed to design and implement an innovation strategy grounded in Blue Ocean Strategy to create value innovation at Elmaskin Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Clinic. A descriptive qualitative approach with a project-based research design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving ten informants selected through purposive sampling, including representatives of management, doctors, nurses, customers, competitors, and aesthetic clinic industry expert. The data were analyzed using SWOT Analysis, Key Success Factors, Strategy Canvas, Four Actions Framework, and Six Paths Framework. The study developed the Elmaskin Transparent & Personalized Beauty Journey, which transforms conventional treatment transactions into a transparent, personalized, educational, and continuous care journey. The concept was operationalized through eight integrated strategies: brand positioning, personalized programs, treatment development, membership optimization, customer relationship management, information transparency, omnichannel marketing, and digitalization of forms. Initial implementation increased customer satisfaction from 82.2% to 94.3%, average returning-patient visits by 11.5%, and the number of new patients by 8.2%. Revenue in May 2026 was also 5.6% higher than the pre-implementation average. These findings suggest that information transparency, service personalization, and continuity across the customer journey can create a differentiated value curve in the aesthetic clinic industry.

Abstract

Attention to the quality of healthcare services has increased significantly. Healthcare providers are competing to deliver higher-quality healthcare services. Management is required to focus not only on medical technicalities but also on creating perceived value that drives patient satisfaction. Acknowledged as a central metric of healthcare service excellence, patient satisfaction is analyzed in this inquiry alongside the impact of outpatient service quality and perceived value at Nima Medical Center Clinic. The investigation also explores the function of perceived value as an intervening factor in the association between outpatient service quality and patient satisfaction. A quantitative approach was adopted, employing a survey instrument with a 1–5 Likert scale on 96 purposively sampled patients from the Nima Medical Center Clinic in Yogyakarta. Data were initially tabulated in Excel and subsequently analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0, employing the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) technique. Evidence shows that outpatient service excellence has a positive but not statistically significant direct link to patient satisfaction. Conversely, perceived worth exerts a robust, significant direct impact on contentment. Notably, the influence of service excellence on satisfaction is significant when it is facilitated by perceived worth. Altogether, these outcomes underscore the vital role of perceived value as a mediating factor between service excellence and patient satisfaction. Consequently, a favorable assessment of service value is essential to improve patient satisfaction in the outpatient department.
