Abstract

The era of digitalization has brought significant changes to market dynamics, with consumers shifting towards edible consumer goods, especially healthier foods. In Indonesia, the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industry is experiencing rapid growth, driven by increasing consumer purchasing power, a large and diverse population, low product penetration, and rising health awareness. Cashew nuts have become one of the promising FMCG products due to their diverse nutritional value and benefits. Renjana Cashew was established as part of an entrepreneurship program at Ciputra University since 2021. Renjana products are roasted protein cashew nut snacks from Surabaya, featuring large-sized nuts, a crunchy texture, and unique flavors, making them suitable for everyday activities. This study aims to determine the effect of product quality, event marketing, and word of mouth on repurchase intention mediated by purchase decision. The research method used is quantitative descriptive confirmatory, with probability sampling technique using a simple random sampling approach. The sample size of this study is 318 respondents, who are customers of Renjana Cashew and have previously purchased the products. Data collection techniques involve using questionnaires and analysis with PLS-SEM. The results of the study indicate that product quality, event marketing, and word of mouth have a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention through purchase decision.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Patient satisfaction is an important factor in determining the success and sustainability of teleconsultation services. The ongoing digital transformation in healthcare, along with the increasing use of telemedicine after the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly at Puskesmas Pancoran, highlights that patient satisfaction is a key element in maintaining the continuity of technology-based services. This study aims to examine the effect of teleconsultation service quality on patient satisfaction and to assess the role of digital literacy as a moderating variable. This research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 123 respondents from a total population of 494 teleconsultation patients, with data analyzed using SmartPLS. The results indicate that teleconsultation service quality has a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction. However, digital literacy does not function as a moderating variable in this relationship. Nevertheless, digital literacy has a positive and significant direct effect on patient satisfaction. These findings also suggest that service quality plays a more dominant role than digital literacy in determining patient satisfaction. This study has several limitations, including its focus on a single location with relatively homogeneous respondent characteristics and the use of a cross-sectional design, which cannot fully capture changes in patient satisfaction over time. Theoretically, the findings support Social Presence Theory, showing that service quality and digital literacy contribute to shaping patient satisfaction through perceived presence in teleconsultation. Practically, improving service quality, particularly in communication, responsiveness of healthcare providers, system simplification, and strengthening digital literacy are essential to enhance patient satisfaction.

Abstract

Indonesia faces waste management and financial inclusion challenges. Pegadaian’s Sorting Waste, Saving Gold program addresses both by converting sorted inorganic waste into digital gold savings that promote sustainability and financial inclusion. This study examines the program’s effects on financial independence and sustainable behavior, with financial inclusion as a mediating variable. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed through a survey of 2,173 active participants who had joined the program for at least three months and maintained active gold savings accounts. Data were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling. Findings reveal that the program has a positive and significant effect on financial inclusion, financial independence, and sustainable behavior. Financial inclusion plays a strong mediating role, especially in the relationship with financial independence, where the indirect effect substantially outweighs the direct effect. For sustainable behavior, the program exerts a robust direct influence that is further enhanced through financial inclusion. The program proves that linking waste management to simple financial tools can broaden inclusion, empower people economically, and build lasting eco-friendly routines. Pegadaian should scale waste bank partnerships, upgrade digital features, and add basic financial education for stronger, sustained impact.

Abstract

PT x. is a pioneering Indonesian halal company that markets a range of halal food products in Japan. However, the company still faces challenges in maintaining product authenticity and ensuring price fairness that aligns with Japanese consumer preferences, which affects consumers' perceived value. According to the company’s data, the number of Japanese consumers who purchased Sariraya products in the past month was 4,079, averaging about 4,000 per month, indicating strong market potential but still requiring optimization of perceived value. This study aims to analyze the influence of product authenticity and price fairness on perceived value, with cultural adaptation mediating and moderating this relationship. The research uses a quantitative approach with purposive sampling, involving 278 respondents who are Indonesian diaspora consumers living in Japan and have purchased Sariraya products. The results show that product authenticity positively influences perceived value and cultural adaptation. Price fairness also positively impacts perceived value and cultural adaptation. Additionally, cultural adaptation significantly affects perceived value and strengthens the relationship between product authenticity and price fairness in shaping it. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of cultural adaptation strategies, product authenticity, and price fairness for Indonesian halal companies to enhance consumers' perceived value in the Japanese market.
