Abstract

Rice has become a central focus of the Indonesian government in ensuring both availability and price stability. To address these concerns, the government, through Perum Bulog, introduced the SPHP (Stabilization of Food Supply and Prices) rice policy. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of SPHP rice policy in influencing the price of premium rice in East Java Province. This study contributes to the limited empirical evidence on food policy evaluation in Indonesia and offers insights for designing more differentiated price stabilization strategies. The analysis in this study was conducted using a fixed effect model–dynamic unbalanced panel data regression with a double-log natural functional form. The dataset consists of monthly panel data covering 34 cities/regencies in East Java Province over the period June 2024–May 2025. The estimation results indicate that only the lagged premium rice price has a significant effect on the premium rice price. However, the price of SPHP rice, both current and lagged, does not have a significant effect on the price of premium rice.

Abstract

CV. Putra Putri Jaya Sidoarjo is a company that produces macaroni chips. The problem that occurs in the company is the non-achievement of the production plan caused by several factors such as lack of sales, marketing, and the use of poor quality raw materials. The purpose of this study is to map the flow structure of the macaroni chips supply chain in CV. Putra Putri Jaya Sidoarjo. analyze supply chain management performance, and provide improvement recommendations to improve supply chain management performance. The methods used in this study are descriptive analysis, SCOR (Supply Chain Operation Reference) analysis, and AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process). Descriptive analysis was used to describe the flow structure of the macaroni chips supply chain consisting of the flow of goods, financial flow, and information flow. SCOR and AHP analysis were used to measure and evaluate the performance of macaroni chips supply chain management in CV. Putra Putri Jaya Sidoarjo. The results of this study show that the product flow includes the procurement of raw materials from suppliers, the process of converting raw materials from raw macaroni into macaroni chips, and the process of sending macaroni chips to distributors such as agents, retailers, and wholesalers, to consumers. Financial flows include a variety of financial transactions, such as payments for product purchases, setting credit limits, and scheduling payments. The flow of information includes a variety of information such as raw material inventory, customer preferences, market trends, production and delivery schedules, and product prices. The performance value of supply chain management performance is 90.87 which is included in the excellent category.

Abstract

Ornamental plants are greenery with considerable potential for development in Indonesia. The plethora of ornamental plant sellers leads consumers to carefully choose attributes that stand out in meeting their desired attitudes and preferences. This research aims to analyze the decision-making process for purchasing ornamental plants, consumer attitudes toward ornamental plant attributes, and the attribute combinations that constitute consumer preferences for ornamental plants. The data collection method involves purposive sampling with 100 respondents. The analysis methods encompass descriptive analysis, Multi-Attribute Fishbein analysis, and Conjoint analysis. The research findings reveal the decision-making process for purchasing ornamental plants, including recognizing the need to beautify a room/home, seeking information from family, evaluating alternative attributes such as price, making planned purchasing decisions, and buying different types of ornamental plants. Post-purchase behavior includes satisfied consumers, a willingness to make repeat purchases, and spreading information about ornamental plants. The overall consumer attitude toward ornamental plants (Ao total) is positive. Consumer preferences for ornamental plants, based on utility values and attribute levels, prioritize plant price (Rp. 100,000 – Rp. 300,000), plant size (60 – 100 cm), seller service (empathy), plant pot (ceramic/porcelain), and plant type (ornamental leafy plants). Abstract

Komoditas di setiap daerah yang beragam mengharuskan adanya penentuan komoditas unggulan agar dapat dijadikan sebagai arah pengembangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis komoditas unggulan subsektor hortikultura buah-buahan di Kabupaten Lamongan yang selanjutnya dijadikan sebagai basis pengembangan agribisnis. Metode analisis yang digunakan yakni analisis Location Quotient (LQ) dan Delta Location Quotient (LQ) yang dijadikan sebagai acuan klasifikasi potensi komoditas dalam empat kategori: stars, mature, emerging dan transforming. Komoditas yang masuk dalam kategori stars merupakan komoditas unggulan yang dirumuskan arahan pengembangannya melalui analisis Deskriptif Kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Komoditas unggulan (stars) yaitu: Jambu biji, sirsak, jambu air, mangga, pepaya, pisang dan semangka. Arahan pengembangan komoditas berdasarkan potensi dan masalah adalah dengan peningkatan lima subsistem agribisnis yaitu dengan cara pengadaan penangkaran benih, pengembangan teknologi greenhouse, pengadaan alat pengolahan, digitalisasi pemasaran, pengembangan varietas baru dan pengadaan transportasi pendukung.Kata kunci: Agribisnis, Komoditas Unggulan, Subsektor Hortikultura Buah-buahan

Abstract

Vegetable cultivation is a sector that is quite a lot in the agricultural sector. Blitar sub-district, Sukorejo sub-district has a women farmer group (kwt) named KWT Raharjo Mukti, and focuses on vegetable cultivation and sales of these vegetables. This raharjo mukti women farmer group has the potential to advance in the field of cultivation, but the limited knowledge of cultivation and the continuity of cultivation as well as the limitations of its marketing are obstacles in the process of cultivation and production of its commodities, so it is necessary to give a little direction so that they can devote their knowledge to the community, through community development in the village. Blitar. The long-term goals of the program are: (1) Encouraging the growth of motivation and creativity of kwt Raharjo Mukti in the process of cultivating horticultural crops so as to increase production,(2) Assisting the potential of kwt Raharjo Mukti in developing cultivation with maximum production, and (3) Helping kwt Raharjo Mukti in solving problems in cultivation, in order to build a better Blitar village. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas Program Pekarangan Pangan Lestari  dan menganalisis korelasi efektivitas dengan faktor umur, tingkat pendidikan, pengalaman berusahatani, jumlah penyuluhan yang diikuti, status pekerjaan, dan jumlah anggota keluarga. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anggota Pekarangan Pangan Lestari Kelurahan Perak Barat yang berjumlah 30 orang. Hasil analisis berdasarkan analisis efektivitas metode sederhana didapat efektivitas Program Pekarangan Pangan Lestari di Kelurahan Perak Barat mencapai 82,07% (sangat efektif), dengan indikator pemahaman peserta sebesar 76,4% (cukup efektif), indikator pelaksanaan sebesar 82,8% (sangat efektif), dan indikator pemenuhan kebutuhan pangan sebesar 86,27% (sangat efektif). Faktor-faktor yang berkorelasi dengan efektivitas menggunakan analisis korelasi rank spearman, didapatkan hasil indikator pemahaman peserta adalah tingkat pendidikan, pengalaman berusahatani, dan jumlah penyuluhan diikuti. Faktor-faktor yang berkorelasi dengan efektivitas indikator pelaksanaan adalah faktor tingkat pendidikan, pengalaman berusahatani, dan jumlah penyuluhan diikuti. Faktor-faktor yang berkorelasi dengan efektivitas indikator pemenuhan kebutuhan pangan adalah umur, pengalaman berusahatani, dan jumlah anggota keluarga.

Abstract

This study examines rice price margins on the island of Java at each level of the supply chain, including producers, wholesalers, and retailers. The method used in this research compares rice prices across six provinces on Java Island: (1) DKI Jakarta, (2) Banten, (3) West Java, (4) Central Java, (5) Yogyakarta, and (6) East Java. The data utilized consists of rice prices (Rp/kg) of all quality levels, sourced from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) in October 2024. The study conducts descriptive analytical analysis by calculating the differences between: (1) producer (farmer) prices → wholesaler prices, (2) wholesaler prices → traditional market retailer prices, and (3) wholesaler prices → modern market retailer prices. The findings indicate variations in rice prices at each level of the supply chain on Java Island, from the producer to the retailer level, in both traditional and modern markets. Additionally, the varying price margins at each stage of the supply chain reveal differences in distribution efficiency and diverse cost structures among the provinces on Java Island.

Abstract

Introduction: World crude oil prices are linked to food commodity prices as input costs for the production distribution and development of biofuels. The relationship between increasing crude oil prices and food prices is in one way; i.e. an increase in world crude oil prices will trigger an increase in food prices and not the other way around. This study aimed to analyze and compare price transmission and integration of cross-commodity prices between the price of crude oil and the price of corn (raw material for biofuels) and the price of rice (non biofuels raw material). Methods: This study used the VARX (Vector Autoregression with Exogenous variables) method with corn prices and rice prices as the endogenous variables, while crude oil prices as exogenous variables. Results: Price transmission and integration of cross-commodity prices occur in crude oil to corn commodities. In contrast, there was no price transmission and price integration between crude oil and rice. Commodities that are directly related to the development of biofuels experience a more significant impact on price changes. Conclusion: Energy commodity prices are connected to food commodity prices, particularly corn. Therefore, if crude oil price rises, so does the corn. Highly dependent corn-importing countries have to be aware. Measures engendering food security are key to any country, particularly promoting domestic production and improving food storage and distribution systems to reduce the risk of food price spikes. The policy implications emerging from the one-directional causality between oil and food prices would typically depend on the specific nature of the two markets and the goals of policy intervention.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the internal and external factors of sweet orange farming in Kedampul Village, Tumpang District, East Java Regency, and to determine alternative development strategies. The method used in this study is qualitative, conducted purposively, where the questionnaire serves as the main tool for data collection. The data obtained were analyzed using SWOT. The results of the study indicate that alternative strategies implemented in orange farming in Kedampul Village are improving agricultural institutions, striving to improve farmers' human resources, good agricultural practice (GAP) cultivation management standards, and farmers and the government making marketing channels more effective for sustainable, progressive farming and wider marketing. In addition, the results of the SWOT analysis show that the internal factor score is greater than the external factor score of 2.428, the results of the SWOT analysis are located in the sweet orange farming development strategy quadrant. This study provides practical implications for farmers to optimize orange farming through improving business management, expanding wider marketing channels.

Abstract

Kabupaten Jember merupakan daerah dengan tingkat kerawanan bencana yang cukup tinggi, meliputi banjir, tanah longsor, dan gempa bumi. Edukasi kebencanaan sejak dini diperlukan untuk membangun kesadaran dan kesiapsiagaan generasi muda. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang potensi bencana, langkah mitigasi, dan prosedur evakuasi kepada siswa baru SMP IT Ibnu Sina Wuluhan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada Masa Pengenalan Lingkungan Sekolah (MPLS) tanggal 17 Juli 2025, dengan melibatkan lima relawan Rumah Zakat Jember, 20 siswa baru, kakak kelas IX, dan guru pendamping. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah interaktif, diskusi, dan simulasi evakuasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa dalam mengenali risiko bencana dan melakukan evakuasi secara tepat. Selain itu, kegiatan ini menumbuhkan solidaritas, rasa tanggung jawab, dan budaya siaga bencana di lingkungan sekolah. Kegiatan ini selaras dengan konsep Satuan Pendidikan Aman Bencana (SPAB) dan berpotensi direplikasi di sekolah lain untuk memperluas dampak positifnya.
