Abstract

Education is one of social institution that has important role to enhance prestiges and human's dignities. Education helps people to build a good relation each others. Higher education usually indicate better social life. Therefore, parents have the responsibility to their children's education. Government also have responsibility to make a good system that agree with development of various fields. Coconut farming communities generally have low income, but they have good motivation to send their children to university.This study aims to know  the motivation of farmers to provide a better education for their children and also some of  factors that influences their successful studies. Based on this study, to get a better social life than their parents is the motivation of coconut farmers that their children get higher education. Meanwhile, the success rate of farmer's son graduated depending on the favorable situation to supporting them to learn better and also good financial supports from their families during the studiesPendidikan merupakan suatu lembaga sosial dalam membentuk individu dalam bersosialisasi untuk meningkatkan harkat martabat manusia. Pendidikan merupakan tanggung jawab masyarakat sebagai orang tua dan pemerintah, maka itu pendidikan perlu menyesuaikan dengan tuntutan pembangunan yang memerlukan berbagai jenis keterampilan dari berbagai bidang. Masyarakat petani kelapa pada umumnya memiliki penghasilan yang rendah, akan tetapi mereka memiliki motivasi yang kuat agar anak-anak mereka bisa mengecap pendidikan sampai ke Perguruan Tinggi.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui motivasi petani untuk memberikan pendidikan yang lebih baik untuk anaknya dan juga beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan dari anak petani untuk mewujudkan cita-citanya tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa motivasi petani ingin anaknya mengecap pendidikan hingga perguruan tinggi adalah agar anak mereka memperoleh kehidupan yang lebih baik. Sementara itu, faktor yang mendukung keberhasilan anak petani dalam menyelesaikan pendidikan mereka di perguruan tinggi adalah situasi kondusif yang mendukung mereka untuk belajar dengan lebih baik dan juga dukungan ekonomi yang baik dari keluarga selama menempuh pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze 1.) teacher teaching methods affect learning achievement 2.) student study habits affect learning achievement 3.) parental attention affects learning achievement 4.) cultural value orientation affects learning achievement 5.) teaching methods teachers, student study habits, parental attention and cultural value orientation have a simultaneous effect on the basic accounting learning achievement of class X AKL students iat SMK Negeri 2 Padang. This type of research is associative and descriptive. The population of this study was the students of class X AKL SMK Negeri 2 Padang totaling 180 people. The sampling technique used stratified random sampling with a total sample of 80 people. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing using f test and t test. Data analysis was assisted by SPSS version 16 and eviews version 8. The results of the study show that: 1.) Teacher's teaching methods greatly affect learning achievement, a greater influence is found in the sample group of workers 2.) Student learning habits greatly affect learning achievement, a greater influence is found in the sample group of workers, 3.) Parents' attention greatly affects learning achievement. The greater influence is found in the non-labor sample group. 4.) Cultural value orientation greatly affects learning achievement, the greater influence is found in the labor sample group.Kata Kunci : Prestasi , Metode, Kebiasaan, Perhatian, Orientasi

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: 1.) The effect of learning discipline on interest in learning 2.) The effect of learning motivation on interest in learning 3.) The effect of teacher teaching skills on interest in learning 4.) The effect of learning media on interest in learning 5.) To analyze learning discipline , learning motivation, teacher teaching skills and learning media simultaneously on online learning outcomes in economics class XII AKL SMK Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. The population of this study were students of class XII AKL SMK Negeri 2 Bukittinggi, amounting to 90 people. The sampling technique used was Stratified Sampling with a total sample of 62 people. The instrument used for this research is a closed questionnaire using the Multilevel Linear Regression test and hypothesis testing with t test and F test.The results of the study show that: (1) learning discipline greatly affects students' interest in learning, a greater influence is found in the sample group of non-current internet network ownership, this is because if internet access is inadequate it will affect students' interest in learning; (2) learning motivation greatly affects students' interest in learning, the biggest influence comes from students with poor internet access this is due to the lack of student motivation in distance learning because the network is less stable this affects interest in learning; (3) teacher's teaching skills greatly affect interest in learning, the greater influence comes from samples with ownership of internet access that is not smooth, this is because if internet access is lacking, the learning process changes from conventional to network that still does not master technology so that the learning process does not run. maximum ; (4) learning media greatly influences interest in learning, the biggest influence comes from samples of internet access that are not smooth, this is because not all students have internet access and difficulties in using the learning media provided, so that it will affect students' interest in learning.

Abstract

The focus of this research is how to interrelate regional innovation products with regional trade and the creation of economic agglomerations in the economic corridor of Sumatra. The research approach used is the spatial lag model and the spatial error model using 2020 spatial data in 10 provinces in the economic corridor of Sumatra. The results show that first: Innovation products and regional trade are spatial variables because they have a greater Moran index value, with the centre of the cluster being Riau province, areas around the centre of the cluster, such as North Sumatra, West Sumatra, South Sumatra. The increase in regional trade intensity is able to encourage an increase in innovation products in the Sumatra economic corridor. On the other hand, the increase in innovation products by large industries has not had a significant impact on increasing regional trade in the Sumatra economic corridor. Second: The factors that affect the increase in innovation products in large and medium industries in the economic corridor of Sumatra are the increase in added value in the beverage industry, increase in added value in the computer and electronic goods industry, and the creation of agglomerations in the food and beverage industry. Meanwhile, an increase in government spending on increasing R&D and venture capital encourages a decline in innovation products in large and medium industries in the Sumatra economic corridor. Third: The factors that affect the increase in regional trade in the economic corridor of Sumatra are increased government spending on R&D, increased added value in the beverage industry, increased added value in the computer and electronic equipment industry, and regional innovation products. Fourth: The cluster centre for increasing the added value of the computer industry and the beverage industry as a very important variable in increasing regional innovation products and regional trade in the long term is the province of Riau and Aceh and this greatly impacts the hinterland area.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh disiplin belajar, lingkungan belajar, peran orang , tanggung jawab belajar, dan kesehatan mental (Mentality) terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik kelas XI IPS di SMAN 3 Solok Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex-post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPS di SMAN 3 Solok Selatan yang berjumlah 74 sampel. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk penelitian berupa angket tertutup dengan digunakan uji Regresi Linear Berganda dan uji hipotesa dengan uji t dan uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa : (1) terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara disiplin belajar terhadap prestasi belajar. 2) Terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara lingkungan belajar (X2) terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik kelas XI IPS di SMAN 3 Solok Selatan. 3) terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara peran orang tua (X3) terhadap prestasi belajar. 4) terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara tanggung jawab belajar (X4) terhadap prestasi  belajar. 5) terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara kesehatan mental (Mentality) (X5) terhadap prestasi belajar. 6) terdapat pengaruh disiplin belajar, lingkunan belajar, peran orang tua, tanggung jawab belajar, dan kesehatan mental (Mentality) secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis 1) pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap prestasi belajar, 2) pengaruh disiplin belajar terhadap prestasi belajar, 3) tingkat pendidikan orang tua terhadap prestasi belajar, 4) pengaruh fasilitas belajar (infrastruktur TIK) terhadap prestasi belajar. prestasi belajar, 5) pengaruh game online di sekolah terhadap prestasi belajar, (6) pengaruh kecerdasan emosional, disiplin belajar, tingkat pendidikan orang tua, fasilitas belajar (infrastruktur TIK), dan game online secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI siswa SMAN 6 Solok Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dan asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMAN 6 Solok Selatan yang berjumlah 94 sampel. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk penelitian adalah angket tertutup dengan menggunakan uji Regresi Linier Berganda Bertingkat dan uji hipotesis dengan uji t dan uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional terhadap prestasi belajar dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,123, nilai thitung sebesar 2,278 > ttabel sebesar 1,987; (2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara disiplin belajar terhadap prestasi belajar dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,270, nilai thitung sebesar 3,322 > ttabel sebesar 1,987; (3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara tingkat pendidikan orang tua terhadap prestasi belajar dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,219, nilai thitung sebesar 3,296 > ttabel sebesar 1,987; (4) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara fasilitas belajar (infrastruktur TIK) terhadap prestasi belajar siswa dengan nilai koefisien 0. 181 dan nilai thitung 3,362 > ttabel 1,987; (5) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara game online terhadap prestasi belajar siswa dengan nilai koefisien 0,200 dan nilai t hitung 2,830 > t tabel 1,987; (6) terdapat pengaruh kecerdasan emosional, disiplin belajar, tingkat pendidikan orang tua, sarana pembelajaran (prasarana TIK), dan permainan online secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar dengan Fhitung 14,799 > Ftabel 2,47.

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to analyze the economic agglomeration pattern of competitiveness of the main export products of West Sumatra province, focusing on the role of improving trade facilities and transportation infrastructure to and from the export port. How strong is its competitiveness, able to interact to serve national, regional and global trade, what strategies will be adopted to increase export competitiveness? The approach to measuring agglomeration export competitiveness used the Lapay Index, Moran and LISA Index, as well as factors influencing the creation of agglomeration using the spatial lag model and spatial error model, as well as strategies for increasing export competitiveness using the Promethee model. The research results show that aspects of existing transportation infrastructure and trade facilities have placed the competitiveness of West Sumatra province lower at the national and regional levels. Export ports have not interacted heavily with national and regional export port nodes. Strategy to increase the agglomeration of West Sumatra's export competitiveness through increasing ship units loading and unloading at export ports, increasing the number of containers (teus), increasing warehousing, improving the regulatory environment and increasing ICT capabilities at export ports.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline, compensation, working hours, and work environment on the performance of Padang City Trade Department employees, both directly and indirectly through work stress as an intervening variable. This type of research is associative with a population of all Padang City Trade Department employees totaling 72 people. The sampling technique uses stratified random sampling. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. Data analysis uses path analysis and t-test to test the significance of direct and indirect influences between variables. The results of this study indicate that, (1) Directly, work discipline has a significant positive effect on employee performance as indicated by a coefficient of 0.351, this coefficient value is significant because t count is 2.919 ˃ t table 1.66827. Meanwhile, if seen indirectly, work discipline has a negative and significant effect on employee performance through its influence on work stress, this is indicated by a coefficient value of 0.234, this coefficient value is significant because t count is -2.085 ˃ t table 1.66827 (2). Directly, compensation does not have a significant effect on employee performance, as indicated by a coefficient of -0.109. This coefficient value is not significant because the calculated t is -0.802 ˂ 1.66827 t table.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh konsep diri, perhatian orang tua, teman sebaya, dan lingkungan sekolah terhadap disiplin serta prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI pada mata pelajaran Akuntansi Perbankan dan Keuangan Mikro (APKM) di SMKN 1 Pasaman tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Menggunakan metode penelitian asosiatif dengan teknik total sampling, penelitian ini melibatkan 67 siswa sebagai responden. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan induktif dengan bantuan program IBM SPSS Statistics 22 dan Eviews.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teman sebaya dan lingkungan sekolah memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap disiplin belajar, sedangkan konsep diri dan perhatian orang tua tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Dalam kaitannya dengan prestasi belajar, konsep diri, teman sebaya, lingkungan sekolah, dan disiplin belajar terbukti memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan, sementara perhatian orang tua tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan. Berdasarkan temuan ini, disarankan agar siswa lebih meningkatkan konsep diri dan disiplin belajar serta memilih lingkungan pertemanan yang positif. Selain itu, pihak sekolah diharapkan dapat menyediakan sarana dan prasarana yang lebih baik guna menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, sehingga dapat mendukung peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa secara optimal.

Abstract

The focus of the study in this research is to analyze the strategies of tourism awareness groups in strengthening collective action and social capital for the development of Padang City tourism. The theory used in this theory is the collective action theory put forward by Eggertsson and the social capital theory put forward by Putnam. This research uses a qualitative approach with a data analysis process using the ideas of Miles and Huberman. Data collection methods were carried out in several ways, namely: non-participant observation, interviews and document study. This research focuses on the strategies carried out by tourism awareness groups in tourism development by combining 2 theories. The results of this research are that tourism awareness groups in strengthening collective action carry out various strategies, namely: 1) The desire to increase and maximize tourism, 2) Having activities carried out together, 3) Coordinating between actors in developing city tourism, 4) Forming groups tourism awareness group among teenagers. Apart from that, the tourism awareness group also carries out strategies to strengthen social capital for tourism development, namely as follows : 1 ) Building trust between tourism awareness groups, 2) Expanding networks between tourism awareness groups, 3) Following the rules and norms within the tourism awareness group
