Abstract

Scientific literacy is scientific knowledge that is used to identify various questions and draw conclusions based on facts. Based on the interview results, students' scientific literacy abilities were not optimal, this research was conducted with the aim of finding out the effect of the inquiry training model assisted by Assembler media on students' scientific literacy abilities. This research is quantitative research using quasi-experimental research and a nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique chosen was a total sampling of 48 students, namely 24 students in class XI-IPA 1 as the control class and 24 students in class XI-IPA 2 as the experimental class. The instruments used in this research used non-test instruments in the form of interviews and test instruments in the form of pretest and posttest questions in the form of essays totaling 10 questions. Meanwhile, data analysis uses prerequisite tests which include normality, homogeneity and hypothesis testing. The research results showed that the average scientific literacy pretest score for the experimental class, namely class XI-IPA 2, was 35.21 with a posttest score of 76.46, while the control class, namely class the results of the statistical hypothesis test obtained a Sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 with a significance level of 0.05. It can be concluded that there is an influence of the inquiry training model assisted by assembler media on students' scientific literacy abilities.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pelatihan Dasar Pemrograman Python di SMA Negeri Modal Bangsa Arun bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir logis dan pemecahan masalah siswa. Program ini meliputi pembelajaran teori dasar pemrograman dan praktik kolaboratif yang semuanya dirancang untuk membekali siswa dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang relevan di era digital. Selama pelatihan, siswa diperkenalkan pada konsep dasar Python, termasuk variabel, tipe data, dan struktur kontrol. Mereka juga diajak untuk menerapkan pengetahuan tersebut melalui latihan mandiri, sehingga dapat mengembangkan kemampuan logis dan pemecahan masalah dalam penyelesain tugas yang diberikan. Dampak positif dari kegiatan ini tidak hanya dirasakan oleh siswa, dimana siswa merasakan banyak pengalaman baru dalam pembelajaran yang mampu mengembangkan kemampan logis dan pemecahan masalah, lebih lanjut siswa menyatakan bahwa kegiatan ini meningkatkan minat dan motivasi dalam belajar. Tim pelaksana juga memperoleh pengalaman berharga yang meningkatkan kemampuan mereka dalam pengajaran teknologi. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat berlanjut dan berkontribusi pada pengembangan ekosistem pendidikan teknologi yang lebih baik, mempersiapkan generasi muda yang kompetitif dan inovatif dalam menghadapi tantangan masa depan.

Abstract

Limbah merupakan suatu hal yang sudah tidak mempunyai kadar nilai dan kandungan manfaat ekonomi, selain itu limbah pun dirasa sebagai salah satu pencemaran lingkungan. Pemanfaatan limbah peternakan dan pertanian menjadi produk berdaya guna dan bernilai ekonomis merupakan salah satu solusi untuk mengurangi pencemaran lingkungan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) di Desa Cut Neuheun bertujuan untuk menerapkan teknologi tepat guna pengolahan limbah peternakan dan perkebunan menjadi pupuk organic yang akan meningkatkan produktivitas pertanian masyarakat di kampung ini. Kegiatan PkM ini melibatkan kelompok tani/ternak dan mahasiswa Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Malikussaleh peserta praktek kerja lapang yang berlangsung selama satu bulan. Kegiatan dilakukan menggunakan metode pendekatan kepada masyarakat melalui penyuluhan, pelatihan, demonstrasi/percontohan (demplot) dan pendampingan. Kegiatan ini mencakup penyuluhan dan praktik pembuatan kompos. Hasil kegiatan PkM menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta kegiatan dalam pengelolaan limbah dan pembuatan kompos. Masyarakat terlibat secara aktif pada seluruh kegiatan dan kelompok tani ternak melakukan praktik pembuatan kompos secara mandiri setelah kegiatan selesai. Hasil analisis usaha menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini layak dilanjutkan dan dipertahankan karena dianggap menguntungkan.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate student competency outcomes in the Media and ICT for Vocational Learning course within the Mechanical Engineering Vocational Education program, as a basis for developing instructional media integrated with agricultural context. The research employed a descriptive quantitative approach using midterm and final exam scores from the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The results show that students demonstrated strong conceptual understanding, with an average midterm score of 82.25 and final score of 83.00. However, variations in individual achievement indicate the need to strengthen the applicative and contextual aspects of learning. These findings serve as an initial foundation for designing vocational learning media based on simulations, case studies, and real-world agricultural problems, particularly those relevant to the local contexts of North Aceh and Lhokseumawe.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the influence of SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, and Society) based e-modules in increasing scientific literacy using the discovery learning learning model. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design in the form of a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. How to apply the sample using the Purposive Sampling technique where a total of 32 students were obtained consisting of 16 students in classes X1 and X2 as the control and experimental classes. The results showed that the average pretest score obtained by students in the experimental class was 29.68 and the average posttest score was 84.06, while in the control class the average pretest score obtained by students was 30.62 and the average score the posttest average was 69.68. Based on statistical test data using the independent sample test in SPSS Version 25, the results obtained were sig (2-tailed) 0.002 < significance 0.05, meaning that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Where H0 is that there is no influence of SETS-based e-modules on students' scientific literacy and Ha is that there is an influence of SETS-based e-modules on students' scientific literacy.

Abstract

This study is part of development research using the Plomp model in the assessment phase, namely the effectiveness test. The goal to be achieved is to see the effectiveness of the physics electronics module based on experiential learning assisted by smartphone in increasing student competency. Data collection in this study was carried out using three instruments: the attitude competency instrument in the form of self-assessment, the knowledge competency instrument in the form of a test with 25 multiple-choice questions, and the skills competency instrument in the form of a performance assessment rubric. The research results for knowledge competence are seen in classical completeness and knowledge competence improvement. The students' classical completeness reached 94% and the N-gain score was 0.83 with high criteria. In attitude competence, the average attitude is 86.88% with very good criteria. In skills competency, an average score of 85.08% of students' skills is obtained with very good criteria. Based on the three competency data results, it can be concluded that the physics electronics module based on experiential learning assisted by a smartphone is effectively used in Physics learning to improve student competence
