Abstract

This research aims to understand the strategies used to enhance the economy of the community through the management of the Tor Simago-Mago tourist village in Hutaraja Village, Sipirok District, South Tapanuli Regency, when viewed from the perspective of Islamic economics. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with the data sources employed in this study being primary and secondary data. The data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. In this case, the researcher will interview the Head of Hutaraja Village, the Chairperson of Pokdarwis, the Manager of the Tourist Village, and several economic actors around the Tor Simago-Mago tourist attraction. The researcher will use SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) to analyze the research results and then identify appropriate strategies for improving the economy of the community around Tor Simago-Mago tourism. The data analysis techniques used will be data presentation, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. Initially, the people of Hutaraja Village made a living as coffee farmers and rice farmers. It cannot be denied that since the emergence of the Tor Simago-Mago tourism site, many community members have benefited and taken advantage of it by selling goods, providing parking spaces, creating photo spots, rest areas, and so on. The position of the Tor Simago-Mago tourism in the IFE and EFE values is in Quadrant I or Strength Opportunity (SO). Therefore, the position of Tor Simago-Mago tourism is at the coordinate point (3.35; 3.02), which indicates the SO strategy, meaning that Tor Simago-Mago tourism must be bold in implementing a progressive strategy by utilizing its existing capacities and strengths to seize the opportunities it faces. One of the strategies for economic improvement that can be implemented is by empowering the existence of Tor Simago-Mago tourism, maintaining and preserving religious values in the management of Tor Simago-Mago tourism, enhancing facilities and infrastructure to provide more comfort for visitors, including places for worship, minimizing illegal levies that can disturb visitors, adding shelters for when it rains, and consistently providing good service to visitors so they are not deterred and can return at any time. Abstract

IntroductionIn macroeconomics, one of the key indicators influencing a country's economic success is its economic growth. An essential factor in determining a nation's economic growth is the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).ObjectivesThis research aims to analyze the level of interaction between Islamic financial institutions, Sharia investments, and export activities in Indonesia, examining their impact on the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) over the short and long term, spanning the period 2017-2022.MethodThe study employs a quantitative research approach, specifically utilizing the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) method.ResultsThe results of the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) reveal two significant variables in the long term. The causality test results indicate a significant relationship between Indonesian exports and Sharia investment. The Variance Decomposition analysis reveals that Sharia Financial Institution Assets contribute 2.7 percent, followed by Sharia Investment at 0.3 percent, and Indonesian Exports at 0.03 percent to the variation in GDP.ImplicationsThis suggests that Indonesian exports significantly impact Sharia investment, and vice versa. However, concerning Gross Domestic Product (GDP), none of the variables exhibit significance. The development of income across various institutions and economic activities in Indonesia indicates a significant increase in the last three years.Originality/NoveltyThese findings provide valuable insights into the economic dynamics of Indonesia, offering a basis for further research and policymaking.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to examine how Murabahah financing, mentoring programs, and the length of business operation affect the income growth of MSMEs at Bank Sumut KCPSy Multatuli. Methods: The study was conducted at Bank Sumut KCPSy Multatuli and focused on 60 MSME clients. A quantitative approach was used, with data collected through questionnaires. The data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression, processed with SPSS version 25. Results: The research found that the income growth of MSMEs is significantly influenced by Murabahah financing, mentoring programs, and the duration of business operation. These factors together account for 80.7% of the increase in income, while the remaining 20.3% is influenced by other variables not covered in the study. Limitations: The study is limited by its focus on only three factors and its reliance on data from one location, Bank Sumut KCPSy Multatuli, which may not fully capture other variables influencing MSME income growth. Contribution: This study contributes to the understanding of factors driving income growth for MSMEs, particularly in the context of Islamic financing (Murabahah), mentorship, and business longevity. It is useful for policymakers, financial institutions, and researchers in the field of MSME development and Islamic finance. Novelty: The novelty of this research lies in its focus on combining Murabahah financing, mentoring, and business duration as key determinants of income growth for MSMEs in the Indonesian context, which has not been thoroughly explored before.

Abstract

The ebb and flow of a business is highly dependent on the capital and strategies used. However, existing capital and strategies will not necessarily succeed when business management is not well organized. Not a few of the entrepreneurs only focus on capital, but forget the managerial approach. With regard to that, this study aims to analyze the implementation of an Islamic-based managerial approach in developing the performance of the chocolate ice business. This research uses a case study-based qualitative research method. Data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that the implementation of an Islamic-based managerial economic approach is carried out by bringing together an understanding of economic theory with decision-making skills that can be applied to conduct analysis and make profitable decisions for the company. It acts as an accurate analysis and decision-making tool to support the company's progress. In its implementation, there are seven aspects of concern, namely cost-benefit analysis, rational decision making, efficient resource management, budget planning and control, performance evaluation, risk management, investment decision making. in addition, the islamic principle, namely compliance with the principles of business in islam, is an important thing that underlies the managerial economic approach.

Abstract

One of the indicators of village development can be done by managing village funds. Village funds function for the implementation of village development such as village infrastructure development, village community empowerment and economic development of rural communities. The main purpose of village funds is a stimulus for the independence of rural communities in carrying out development in their areas. Village Fund Allocation (ADD) is a balanced fund received by the district in the district revenue and expenditure budget. The management of village funds in realizing community development and empowerment within the framework of Islamic economic development is not only material development, but spiritual and moral aspects play a role, moral and spiritual development must be integrated with economic development. This is what is later in the Qur'an called tazkiyah an-nafs. Which in the end brings a sense of pride and gratitude and from things like this can improve the quality of worship to Allah SWT.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the halal industry as a solution to increase economic growth in West Nusa Tenggara. The research approach uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interview methods. The findings in this research are that economic growth in a province can be increased, one of which is through optimizing the halal industry. By optimizing sharia-based industry, it will become an attractive brand for investors, tourists and creative economy players to improve the economy in NTB. This labeling of the halal industry must of course be supported by binding and sustainable provincial government regulations. So the existence of a halal park industry roadmap designed by the provincial government really helps accelerate the halal industry so that economic growth in NTB can grow and be strong. The halal industry not only pays attention to halal tourism, halal food, halal cosmetics and medicines but also pays attention to the facilities and infrastructure of the sharia financial industry, where the growth of sharia industrial assets in NTB is currently still relatively slow. The role of the OJK as well as financial and non-bank institutions is very much needed so that this halal industry can develop well.
