Abstract

Ancangan penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kekohesifan wacana opini majalah Bali Post dan untuk mengetahui pemakaian piranti kohesi pada wacana tersebut. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui pencatatan dokumen. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif, sedangkan untuk menentukan tingkat kekohesifan wacana opini majalah Bali Post digunakan rumus kekohesifan antarkalimat yang diadaptasi dan dimodifikasi dari Nurkancana dkk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kekohesifan wacana opini majalah Bali Post tergolong tinggi yakni 94%. Sedangkan pemakaian piranti kohesinya yaitu: piranti konjungsi 234 (52%), referensi 153 (34%) piranti repetisi 17 (3,7%), piranti subtitusi 13 (2,8%), piranti hiponim 10 (2,2%), piranti kolokasi 9 (2,2%), piranti antonim 3 (0,6%), piranti sinonim 2 (0,4%), piranti elipsis 1 (0,2%) ekuivalensi (0), leksem generik (0), dan isotopi (0).Kata Kunci : pemakaian piranti kohesi, tingkat kekohesifan The design of this research was descriptive qualitative. The research objective was to determine the level of discourse cohesiveness of Opinion texts on Bali Post magazine to determine the usage of cohesion devices in the discourse. The research data was collected through documentation. Data analysis technique used in this study was descriptive qualitative, meanwhile to determine the level of discourse cohesiveness of Opinion texts on Bali Post magazine, among-sentence cohesiveness formula adapted and modfied from Nurkancana et. al was used. The results showed that the level of discourse cohesiveness of Opinion texts on Bali Post magazine was high at 94%. While the use of cohesion devices found were: conjunction device 234 (52%), reference 153 (34%) 17 repition (3.7%), substitution 13 (2.8%), hyponymy and hypernymy 10 (2.2%), collocation 9 (2.2%), antonyms 3 (0.6%), synonyms 2 (0.4%), ellipsis 1 (0.2%) equivalence (0), leksem generic (0) and isotopy (0).keyword : the use of cohesion, the level of cohesiveness

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran, (3) kendala-kendala yang dialami guru dalam pembelajaran teks fabel berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013 di SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa bahasa Indonesia kelas VII.A1. Objek penelitian yaitu (1) rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan (3) kendala-kendala yang dialami guru. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan motode dokumentasi, observasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) alokasi waktu pada rencana pembelajaran 2 x 40 menit tidak sesuai dengan silabus, (2) guru menerapkan langkah-langkah yang tidak sesuai dengan pendekatan berbasis teks, (3) pelaksanaan pembelajaran tidak sesuai dengan rencana pembelajaran, guru meminta siswa berdiskusi di luar kelas, (4) kendala yang dialami, guru belum memahami pendekatan pembelajaran. Simpulan dari penelitian ini meliputi, (1) rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran belum sesuai dengan silabus, (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilakukan sudah sesuai dengan pendekatan yang diterapkan, meskipun pada perencanaan tidak sesuai, (3) kendala yang dialami guru adalah keterbatasan pengetahuan mengenai pendekatan pembelajaran. Peneliti penyarankan (1) guru perlu menyusun RPP sesuai dengan pedoman penulisan, langkah-langkah pembelajaran harus sesuai dengan pendekatan pembelajaran, dan pelaksanaan sesuai dengan RPP, (2) kepala sekolah perlu memberikan kesempatan kepada guru untuk mengikuti pelatihan, (3) peneliti lain hendaknya melakukan penelitian dengan kajian yang lebih luas.Kata Kunci : pembelajaran, teks, fabel, kurikulum 2013 This research has purposes to describe (1) the lesson plan, (2) learning activity, (3) the obstacles which happen to the teacher in learning fable text based on the Curriculum 2013 at SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja. The research design which is used is descriptive qualitative design. The subjects of the research are the teacher and the Indonesian students of VII A1. The objects of the research are (1) the lesson plan, (2) learning activity, (3) the obstacles which happen to the teacher. The research data are collected through documentation method, observation, and interview. The technique of data analysis in this research are data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results of the research show that (1) the time allotment on the lesson plan (2 x 40) is not appropriate to the syllabus, (2) the steps which are applied by the teacher are not appropriate to the text-based approach, (3) the learning activity is not appropriate to the lesson plan, the teacher asks the students to discuss outside the classroom, (4) the obstables which happen to the teacher, the teacher cannot understand the learning approach. The results of this research are, (1) the lesson plan is not appropriate to the syllabus yet, (2) the learning activity which is done has been appropriate to the approach which is already applied, although on the planning is not appropriate, (3) the obstacles which happen to the teacher is the knowledge limitation of the learning approach. The researcher suggests (1) the teacher needs to arrange the lesson plan based on the writing guideline, the learning steps should appropriate to the learning approach, and the implementation should appropriate to the lesson plan, (2) the headmaster should give a chance to the teacher to join the training, (3) the other researchers should do a research with a broaden study.keyword : learning, text, fable, Curriculum 2013

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkajijenis media internet dan penggunaannya dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif.Pada penelitian ini subjek penelitian yang digunakan adalah gurubahasa Indonesia, siswa kelas VII A1 dan VII A2, serta internet.Sedangkan objek penelitian ini adalah jenis media internet dan penggunaan internet sebagai media pembelajaran. Jenis media internet dalam pelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja dilihat dari jenis media yang sering diguankan oleh guru pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Sedangkan  penggunaan internet sebagai media dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja dilihat dari cara guru menggunakan media internet dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian didapatkan dengan menggunakan metode observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Adapun hasil penelitian, yaitu (1) Jenis media internet yang digunakan adalah video dan teks, (2) video yang digunakan terdiri dari video cerita fantasi, video deskripsi, dan video prosedur. Sedangkan teks yang digunakan yaitu: teks deskripsi dan teks prosedur, (3)penggunaan media video digunakan dengan cara ditayangkan dan media teks digunakan sebagai contoh dalam bentuk hardcopy, (4) penggunaan internet sebagai media yang dilakukan oleh guru dan peserta didik kelas VII A1 dan VII A2  pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMP Negeri 4 Singaraja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji (1) diksi puisi yang dimuat dalam antologi puisi Dendang Denpasar Nyiur Sanur, dan (2) kontribusi sastra bagi perkembangan kota Denpasar sebagai kota berwawasan budaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan ancangan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dengan subjek penelitian puisi yang dimuat dalam antologi Dendang Denpasar Nyiur Sanur. Objek penelitian ini adalah diksi yang digunakan pada puisi Dendang Denpasar Nyiur Sanur. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui metode dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) diksi puisi yang dimuat dalam antologi puisi Dendang Denpasar Nyiur Sanur yaitu, diksi nama tempat/wilayah Denpasar, nama tempat wisata, nama jalan Denpasar, nama rumah sakit, nama pantai, nama terminal, nama sungai, dan nama tokoh, (2) kontribusi sastra bagi perkembangan kota Denpasar sebagai kota berwawasan budaya yaitu, dokumetasi sejarah perkembangan kota, penyaluran karya-karya sastra dan sarana melahirkan sastrawan-satrawan. Kata Kunci : Kata kunci : antologi, puisi, diksi, kontribusi, kota This study aims to examine (1) diction of poetry used in the poetry anthology of Dendang Denpasar Nyiur Sanur, and (2) the contribution of literature for the development of Denpasar city as a cultural city. This research uses qualitative descriptive design with subject of this research is a group of poetry which are published in Dendang Denpasar Nyiur Sanur anthology. The object of this research is the diction used in the poetry in Dendang Denpasar Nyiur Sanur anthology. The data in this study was collected through documentation method. The results of this study are (1) the dictions used in Dendang Denpasar Nyiur Sanur poetry anthology are name of Denpasar place/area diction, name of tourist object, name of street in Denpasar, name of hospital, name of beach, name of terminal, name of river and name of figures, (2) literature contributions to the development of Denpasar city as a cultural city are, the documentation of the historical development of the city, the distribution of literature works and the means of forming new writers. keyword : Keywords : anthology, poetry, diction, contribution, city

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) mendeskripsikan keberadaan ekstrakurikuler majalah dinding di SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Negara; (2) mendeskripsikan proses pembinaan ekstrakurikuler majalah dinding di SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Negara. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah ekstrakurikuler majalah dinding. Objek penelitian ini adalah keberadaan dan proses ekstrakurikuler majalah dinding. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) ekstrakurikuler majalah dinding diatur berdasarkan surat keputusan kepala sekolah, pelaksanaannya berdasarkan program kerja yang dirancang oleh guru Bahasa Indonesia sekaligus sebagai pembina ekstrakurikuler majalah dinding, siswa yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler majalah dinding dominan diikuti oleh siswi perempuan; (2) proses pembinaan ekstrakurikuler majalah dinding di SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Negara memiliki cara yang berbeda-beda sesuai dengan keadaan sekolah.Kata Kunci : Kata kunci: ekstrakurikuler majalah dinding dan pembinaan This research is a qualitative descriptive study aimed to (1) describe the existence of walls magazine in Junior High School in Negara sub-district, (2) describing the process of building a wall magazine in Junior High School in Negara sub-district. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The subject of this study is extracurricular of wall magazines. Object of this research is the existence and process of extracurricular of wall magazine. The method used collect the cata are observation, interviews, and documentation. This research used qualitative descriptive analysis techniques to analyse the data. The results of this study indicate that (1) the existence of extraculicullar of wall magazine by the headmaster decision letter and its implementation based on the work program that has been designed by the Indonesian language teachers at once become the founder of extraculicullar of wall magazine, Students who dominant to follow the extraculicullar of wall magazine are female students (2) the process of founding extraculicullar of wall magazine at Junior High School in Negara sub-district has different ways.keyword : The extraculicullar of walls magazine and founding

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk pematuhan dan bentuk pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama dalam interaksi jual beli di Pasar Tradisional Banyuasri serta implikasinya terhadap pembelajaran teks negosiasi di kelas X. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan metode observasi nonpartisipatif dan metode dokumentasi dengan teknik catat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan (1) bentuk pematuhan prinsip kerja sama pada tuturan penjual berjumlah 482 tuturan meliputi, maksim kuantitas 126 (26,14%) tuturan, maksim kualitas 61 (12,65%) tuturan, maksim relevansi 293 (60,79%) tuturan, dan maksim pelaksanaan 2 (0,41%) tuturan. Sementara pematuhan prinsip kerja sama pada tuturan pembeli berjumlah 464 tuturan meliputi, maksim kuantitas 9 (1,94%) tuturan, maksim kualitas 319 (68,75%) tuturan, maksim relevansi 51 (10,99%) tuturan, dan maksim pelaksanaan 85 (18,32%) tuturan; (2) bentuk pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama pada tuturan penjual berjumlah 32 tuturan meliputi, maksim kuantitas 5 (15,62%) tuturan, maksim kualitas 16 (50%) tuturan, maksim relevansi 6 (18,75%) tuturan, dan maksim pelaksanaan 5 (15,62%) tuturan. Sementara pelanggaran pada tuturan pembeli berjumlah 108 tuturan meliputi, maksim kualitas 86 (79,63%), maksim relevansi 2 (1,85%), dan maksim pelaksanaan 20 (18,52%) tuturan; serta (3) penelitian ini berimplikasi terhadap pembelajaran teks negosiasi kelas X karena dapat mendukung materi pada kompetensi dasar. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penjual dan pembeli sudah mematuhi prinsip kerja sama dan mengurangi pelanggaran prinsip kerja sama saat berinteraksi, serta ada implikasi terhadap pembelajaran teks negosiasi sebagai pendukung materi pembelajaran. Adapun saran dalam penelitian ini, (1) guru diharapkan memanfaatkan lingkungan sekitar sebagai sumber belajar dan (2) penelitian selanjutnya bisa diarahkan pada pola komunikasi interaksi jual beli.Kata Kunci : negosiasi, kerja sama, prinsip kerja sama, teks This research aimed to describe the obedience and violation of cooperative principle form at Banyuasri Traditional Market and its implication to the negotiation text learning in ninth grade. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach. Data are collected uses non participated observation method and documentation methodby using written technique. The result of this research shows that (1) The form of the obedience of cooperative principle at traders discourse are 462 discourse comprise of maxim of quantity 126 (26,14%) discourse, maxim of quality 61 (12,65%) discourse, maxim of relevance 293 (60,79%) discourse, and maxim of manner 2 (0,41%) discourse. Whereas the form of the obedience of cooperative principle at buyer discourse are 464 discourse comprise of maxim of quantity 9 (1,94%) discourse, maxim of quality 319 (68,75%) discourse, maxim of relevance 51 (10,99%) discourse, and maxim of manner 85 (18,32%) discourse; (2) The form of the violation ofcooperative principle in trader discourse are 32 discourses comprise of maxim of quantity 5 (15,62%) discourse, maxim of quality 16 (50%) discourse, maxim of relevance 6 (18,75%) discourse, and maxim of manner 5 (15,62%) discourse. Whereas the form of the violation of cooperative principle in buyer discourse are 108 discourses comprise of maxim of quality 86 (79,63%) discourse, maxim of relevance 2 (1,85%) discourse, and maxim of manner 20 (18,52% ) discourse; (3) This research has implication to the negotiation text learning of ninth grade since it can support the learning material on basic competency. It can be concluded that the traders and the buyers have obeyed the cooperative principle and have diminished the violation of cooperative principle when the interactions occur and this research has implication to negotiation learning text as supporting learning material. There are some suggestions in this research, (1) the teachers are hoped to utilize the nearest environment as learning source and (2) the research can be directed to the trading interaction communication.keyword : negotiation, cooperative, cooperative principle, text

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan (1)masalah-masalah sosial masyarakat Bali dalam kumpulan cerpen Paruman Betara karya I Wayan Sadha. (2) kritik sosial dalam kumpulan cerpen Paruman Betara karya I Wayan Sadha . Subjek penelitian ini adalah kumpulan cerpen Paruman Betara.Objek penelitian ini adalah masalah-masalah sosial masyarakat Bali dan kritik sosial.Penelitian ini menggunakan deskritif kualitatif.Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah metode dokumentasi.metode studi pustaka. analisis data yang di gunakan adalah (1) reduksi data, (2) klasifikasi data, (3) deskripsi data, (4) interpretasi data, (5) penyimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) masalah-masalah sosial yang terdapat dalam kumpulan satua bawak Paruman Betara dibagi berdasarkan atas Tri Hita Karana yaitu: parahyangan antara lain: biaya upacara yadnya, mistik, balian edan, sang sulinggih yang mengingkari tatwa lontar, pawongan: stratifikasi sosial ditentukan oleh kemampuan ekonomi keluarga, rasa irihati, prostitusi/pelacuran, kriminalitas/kekerasan, penipuan, pencurian, kehidupan masyarakat pendatang, kenakalan remaja. palemahan antara lain: memperebutkan hak ahli waris, menjual harta warisan karena judi. kritik sosial yang disampaikan oleh pengarang dalam kumpulan cerpen Paruman Betara antara lain: krama Bali diharapkan agar selalu ingat memperhatikan kesejahteraan lingkungan dengan melaksanakan upacara Yadnya,anak agar senantiasa mendoakan kebahagiaan orang tua, anak wajib membalas budi orang tua, para orang tua agar melarang anak-anak mereka yang masih remaja untuk mengendarai sepeda motor, para orang tua wajib membebaskan anak-anak mereka yang terkena candu cewek cenayang, masyarakat Bali agar selalu ingat mengendalikan hawa nafsu agar tidak menyesal. This study aimed at describing (1) the social problems of Balinese society in the collection of Paruman Betara by I Wayan Sadha’s short story, (2) the critical social in the collection of Paruman Betara by I Wayan Sadha’s short story, (3) the relation between the social problems balinese society and critica l social in the collection of Paruman Betara by I Wayan Sadha’s short story. The subject of this study was the collection of Paruman Betara by I Wayan Sadha’s short story. The Object of this study were the social problems of Balinese society and the critical social in the collection of Paruman Betara by I Wayan Sadha’s short story. This study was designed in the form of descriptive qualitative research. There were some methods used in this study to obtain the data, such as documentation method and literature study method. The data were analyzed by using; (1) data reduction,(2) data classification, (3) data description, (4) data interpretation, and (5) coclusion. It was found that (1) the social problems in Paruman Betara’s short story was divided based on Tri Hita Karana, which was included:(1) Parahyangan, such as the cost of Yadnya ceremony, mystical, oracle, the local priest who disavow tatwa lontar, (2) Pawongan, such as the social stratification is determined by the family economical ability, jealous, prostitution, criminality, desception, robbing, new comer life, and the adolescent naughtiness, (3) Palemahan, such as santching the inheritance and selling the wealth because of gambling. The social critic was conveyed by the writer in Paruman Betara’s short story were Balinese society are expected to keep the environment by doing Yadnya ceremony, to make the children always pray to their parents happines, the children must be able to response parents kind, the parents should be prohibited their children not to ride their motorcycle, the parents must be able to give aware to their children who addicted in prostitution, and the Balinese society should be remembered to manage their desire to avoid the regret. keyword : social problems, social critical, short story Paruman Betara

Abstract

Tetilikan puniki matatujon nyelehin (1) aspek tri hita karana sane munggah ring pupulan satua bawak Bangke Matah reriptan Ida Bagus Wayan Widiasa Keniten. (2) wangun intrinsik ring pupulan satua bawak Bangke Matah reriptan Ida Bagus Wayan Widiasa Keniten. Tetilikan puniki nganggen palihan tetilikan deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek ring tetilikan puniki pupulan satua bawak Bangke Matah reriptan Ida Bagus Wayan Widiasa Keniten. Objek tetilikan puniki inggih punika aspek tri hita karana lan wangun instrinsik ring pupulan satua bawak Bangke Matah reriptan Ida Bagus Wayan Widiasa Keniten. Ri sajeroning mupulang data tetilikan puniki ngangge kramaning studi dokumen inggih punika kartu data. Pikolih tetilikan puniki (1) aspek tri hita karana ring pupulan satua bawak Bangke Matah reriptan Ida Bagus Wayan Widiasa Keniten inggih punika indik parhyangan sane ngranjing ring sistem kepercayaan/religi (agama) lan pawongan sane ngranjing ring sistem organisasi kemasyarakatan (sosial). Nyantenang (2) wangun instrinsik ring pupulan satua bawak Bangke Matah reriptan Ida Bagus Wayan Widiasa Keniten inggih punika wenten unteng, lelintihan satua, pangabah lan watek, latar, sudut pandang, lan piteket. Taler wangun kebudayaan indik (1) sistem pengetahuan, (2) sistem mata pencaharian hidup (ekonomi), (3) sistem telnologi lan peralatan hidup manusia, (4) sistem bahasa, lan (5) sistem kesenian. Tetilikan puniki sumangdane prasida nglimbakang budaya Bali antuk pajah-ajahan ring sastra utamannyane sastra Bali anyar. Kata Kunci : aspek tri hita karana, wangun intrinsik, wangun kebudayaan The purposes of this study were (1) ) to examine Tri Hita Karana aspects that appear in theseshort story collections.Furthermore, the research eruses descriptive qualitative research method, and (2) to explain instrinsic elements building up short story collections Bangke Matah written by Ida Bagus Wayan Widiasa Keniten The subject of this research is the short story collections it self Bangke Matah written by Ida Bagus Wayan Widiasa Keniten. The objects of this research are the instrinsic elements and Tri Hita Karana aspects of these short story collections. During the data collection process, the research was conducted using study document method with data cards. The results show that (1) meanwhile, Tri Hita Karana aspects in these story collections involve parhyangan related to religion or belief and pawongan associated with community organization systems (social communities). (2) instrinsic elements of these short story collections Bangke Matah written by Ida Bagus Wayan Widiasa Keniten includethe theme, plot, characters, setting, point of view and message. Cultural aspects of these short story collections contain (1) knowledge systems, (2) livelihood systems, (3) technology and equipment for living systems, languange systems, (5) art systems. The main objective of this research is to develop balinese culture through literature education mainly Bali modern literatures.keyword : Keywords : tri hita karana aspects, instrinsic elements, cultural aspects.

Abstract

Tetilikan puniki marupa tetilikan deskriptif kualitatif, sane manadosang “geguritan Rajapala” pinaka jejering lan “guna sarat awatek paajah-ajah” pinaka panandang tetilikan puniki . Nyelehin wangun nenten prasida lempas ri sajeroning tetilikan sastra, punika matetujon anggen ngaruruh tur manggih unteng sane mungguh ring karya sastra. Antuk seseleh wangun kalanturang antuk nyelehin guna saratnyane. Studi dokumentasi kaanggen pinaka tata cara mupulang data lan pirantinyane inggih punika kartu data taler analisisnyane kawantu antuk teknik nyatet tur mentranslit. Wangun sane kaselehin sajeroning geguritan Rajapala inggih punika wangun intrinsik, minakadinnyane penokohan, latar, deskripsi basa, pamargin carita, muah guna saratnyane. Geguritan Rajapala kakepah manados kalih, pahan kapertama nyaritayang kahuripan Ken Rajapala lan pahan kaping rwa nyaritayang kahuripan Ki Durma. Guna sarat sane wenten ring geguriran Rajapala inggih punika mapaiketan sareng watek paajah-ajah (Nilai Pendidikan Karakter). Guna sarat punika kapanggih saking guna sarat paiketan rerama sareng pianak, pianak sareng rerama, parekan sareng rajanyane, muah raja sareng panjaknyane. Kata Kunci : wangun intrinsik, Guna Sarat Watek Paajah-ajah, Geguritan Rajapala. This study was designed as a descriptive qualitative study. The subject of this study was "geguritan Rajapala" meanwhile the object was "character values". Analyzing literature elements cannot be separated from literature studies, this is aimed at finding and gaining the points existing in the literature. Based on those elements, the values contained in the literature can be analyzed. The method used to collect the data was documentation and the instruments used were data card completed with note and ttanslate technique. The elements analyzed in geguritan rajapala were characterization, setting, language description, plot, and the values. Geguritan rajapala was divided into two parts. The first part told about the story of Ken rajapala meanwhile the second part told about the story of ki durma. The values contained in geguritan rajapala were related to character education. The various character values were derived from the relation between parents and children, the relation between children and parents, the relation between servants and kings, and the relation between king and his people.keyword : intrinsic elements, character values, geguritan Rajapala

Abstract

The present study aimed to examine the representation of Indonesian revolution in the poetry “Rapat Mengganyang 7 Setan” written by H. R. Bandaharo. The meanings of the poetry are uncovered by investigating the mutual relationship between the poetry and the work and speech of President Soekarno as well as the written work of D.N. Aidit. The study used a qualitative research design, and the data were analyzed by using parallel reading method. The study results showed that the representation of Indonesian revolution is realized through the theme and diction of the poetry which are derived from sayings/slogans during the revolution time. The mutual relationship between the poetry “Rapat Mengganyang 7 Setan” and President Soekarno’s speech and D.N. Aidit’s written work are based on Mukadimah Lekra (Lekra Preamble), Community’s Culture Conception, and method of combination principle 1-5-1. The representation of Indonesian revolution in the poetry shows literature as part of political movement to reach the goal of Indonesian revolution, that is, just and prosperous community.Key words: representation, Indonesian revolusion, new historicism
