Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi bahwa masih rendahnya kompetensi penguasaan teknologi digital bagi guru MAN 1 Sumbawa dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis Canva.com. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk membantu guru-guru dalam meningkatkan kompentensi teknologi digital dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi canva.com. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah, diskusi, pelatihan dan pendampingan guru. ada 3 tahapan yang dilaksanakan agar kegiatan berjalan lancar yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan teknologi digital yang dilaksanakan di MAN 1 Sumbawa yang diiikuti oleh semua guru umumnya mendapatkan tanggapan positif dan antusiasme yang tinggi dilihat dari kehadiran dan proses diskusi. Guru yang mengikuti pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan dalam 1) Kemampuan mereka untuk menggunakan teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran; 2) Pengetahuan mereka tentang berbagai teknologi digital yang tersedia; 3) Kepercayaan diri mereka dalam menggunakan teknologi digital di kelas; 4) Motivasi mereka untuk terus belajar tentang teknologi digital.

Abstract

Academic Supervision activities are activities planned to assist teachers in the learning process as an effort to improve teacher competence in order to improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to find out about the implementation of school supervisor supervision in increasing teacher professionalism and improving the quality of education at SMP Negeri 1 Unter Iwes Sumbawa. The approach in this study is a qualitative approach and data obtained by observation, documentation and interviews. The results of the study show (1) the supervision carried out by applying the official, partnership and familial approach, as well as the techniques developed by supervisors in carrying out academic supervision are quite varied; (2) the constraints of supervisors/supervisors in carrying out academic supervision are the large number of teachers, but limited time; (3) the implementation of general academic supervision is quite good, and is able to carry out its duties and functions properly; (4) the aspects that are the target of supervision by school supervisors/supervisors are still limited, not all aspects of academic supervision have been carried out; (5) the frequency of visits by school supervisors/supervisors in conducting academic supervision is considered insufficient because it is not evenly distributed; teachers receive class visits by supervisors; and (6) the efforts made by supervisors/supervisors in carrying out academic supervision, have not been optimal in providing guidance to teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Unter Iwes Sumbawa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the predominant learning approach used by students based on phenomenography theory. This research is focused on a learning approach based on phenomenography theory (1) Deep Approach learning approach. (2) Surface Approach learning approach. This type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative research, using a phenomenographic approach. Obtaining data was done by using the thinking aloud test method, and semi-structured interviews. Data analysis was performed on 6th-semester students through several stages (1) Preparation of transcripts (2) Data reduction (3) Data organization (4) Category of Description. Furthermore, to test the validity of the data, a triangulation of methods was carried out to check the correctness of the data obtained from the informants using different data collection techniques. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the sixth semester of economic education students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Samawa University dominantly use the Surface Approach, while a small proportion uses the deep learning approach.

Abstract

Statistics is often considered a challenging subject, where high levels of anxiety can hinder understanding of the material, affect results, and hinder the development of statistical skills. This study aims to analyze effectiveness of four learning strategies namely tutorial learning, presenter learning, project online learning, and project face to face learning in improving students' statistical literacy skills. This study used a quantitative approach with a posttest group design research design involving 140 students who were divided into four treatment groups. The analysis technique used is MANOVA (Multivariate Analysis of Variance) with the stages of normality test, homogeneity, multiple comparisons, and Tukey HSD further test. The results show that Tutorial Learning, Presenter Learning, and Project Face to Face Learning strategies have a more significant impact on improving statistical literacy. The three strategies showed relatively balanced effectiveness in improving students' statistical skills. This finding confirms the importance of selecting appropriate learning strategies to promote a deep and meaningful understanding of statistics. This research provides an empirical contribution to the development and selection of appropriate learning strategies, especially in statistics education at the tertiary level. It also recommends further exploration of innovative, contextual, and adaptive combinations of learning strategies to students' needs.

Abstract

Naskah kuno merupakan warisan dari nenek moyang masyarakat dan tanah Sumbawa yang di dalamnya mencerminkan perilaku dan kepribadian budaya bangsa yang luhur. Namun keberadaan naskah kuno menjadi tantangan tersendiri yakni masyarakat belum memahami nilai historis dan budaya dari naskah kuno; naskah sering dianggap sebagai benda usang tanpa nilai praktis; belum banyak naskah yang didokumentasikan secara sistematis atau didigitalisasi; resiko kehilangan informasi budaya yang tak tergantikan; bahkan beberapa naskah hilang karena dijual atau dibawa keluar daerah; di samping minimnya program pemerintah daerah atau lembaga budaya untuk konservasi naskah; dan keterbatasan dana dan tenaga ahli dalam bidang filologi dan konservasi. Adapun tujuan dari Focus Group Discussion (FGD) adalah menjaga keberadaan naskah sebagai bukti sejarah, sastra, dan nilai-nilai lokal Sumbawa; serta menguatkan identitas dan jati diri daerah. Metode yang digunakan adalah Focus Group Discussion (FGD) untuk menjaring gagasan, identifikasi dan inventarisasi keberadaan naskah kuno dalam beberapa sesi kegiatan. Berdasarkan hasil Focus Group Discussion (FGD) menunjukan bahwa (1) sebagian besar kecamatan memiliki naskah kuno yang tersimpan di rumah-rumah, masjid tua, dan koleksi pribadi, (2) banyak naskah mengalami kerusakan fisik akibat kelembaban, rayap, dan kurangnya perawatan, (3) belum ada sistem pendataan terpadu antar kecamatan, (4) minimnya anggaran dan tenaga ahli konservasi, (5) rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap nilai naskah kuno untuk digitalisasikan, (6) belum adanya regulasi lokal yang melindungi naskah kuno sebagai cagar budaya. Sehingga melahirkan beberapa usulan strategis dalam memberikan solusi pelestarian naskah kuno di kabupaten sumbawa adalah (1) digitalisasi dan transliterasi naskah kuno secara bertahap, (2) pembuatan museum mini atau ruang pameran naskah di tiap kecamatan, dan (3) integrasi naskah kuno dalam kurikulum muatan lokal sekolah.
