Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui parental stress pada orang tua anak berkebutuhan khusus ditinjau dari efikasi diri melalui dukungan sosial sebagai mediator. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu purposive sampling , dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 334 orang. Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk parental stress yaitu Parental Stress Scale (PSS) yang diadaptasi dari Kumalasari,dkk (2022), untuk efikasi diri yaitu General Self Efficacy Scale (GSES) yang diadaptasi dari Novrianto,dkk (2019) dan untuk dukungan sosial yaitu Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) yang diadaptasi dari Laksmita,dkk (2020). Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji regresi linier sederhana, uji parsial dan uji Sobel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada keterkaitan antara efikasi diri dengan parental stress (Ha1 diterima) , ada keterkaitan antara efikasi diri dengan dukungan sosial (Ha2 diterima ), dan ada pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap parental stress (Ha3 diterima). Dari hasil penelitian, juga diperoleh nilai koefisien regresi 0,434 (dengan p 0.000 0.05) dan hasil tes Sobel (t=3,36) yang menunjukkan bahwa Ha4 diterima, berarti parental stress orang tua anak berkebutuhan khusus terbukti dipengaruhi efikasi diri dengan dimediasi dukungan sosial. Hasil penelitian ini juga mendapat nilai R2 sebesar 0,168, yang menunjukkan variabel efikasi diri dengan mediasi dukungan sosial memiliki kontribusi sebesar 16,8% terhadap parental stress, sementara itu 83,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kelekatan orang tua dan kelekatan teman sebaya terhadap perilaku agresif pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 270 siswa berusia 15–18 tahun. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment (IPPA) untuk mengukur kelekatan, serta The Buss-Perry Aggression Questionnaire untuk mengukur perilaku agresif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kelekatan teman sebaya memiliki pengaruh yang lebih besar terhadap perilaku agresif dibandingkan kelekatan orang tua. Secara keseluruhan, kedua variabel tersebut memberikan kontribusi sebesar 12,7% terhadap perilaku agresif, dengan kelekatan orang tua menyumbang sebesar 0,6% dan kelekatan teman sebaya sebesar 12,1%. Sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain di luar variabel yang diteliti. Kata Kunci: Kelekatan Orang Tua, Kelekatan Teman Sebaya, Perilaku Agresif, Siswa SMK  AbstractThis study aims to examine the influence of parental attachment and peer attachment on aggressive behavior among vocational high school (SMK) students. The sample consisted of 270 students aged 15–18 years. The instruments used in this study were the Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment (IPPA) to measure attachment, and the Buss-Perry Aggression Questionnaire to assess aggressive behavior. The results of the hypothesis testing indicated that peer attachment had a greater influence on aggressive behavior than parental attachment. Together, the two variables contributed 12.7% to aggressive behavior, with parental attachment accounting for 0.6% and peer attachment 12.1%. Abstract

Aggressive behavior in adolescents is a common problem in schools because it can disrupt learning and social interactions. Factors influencing this include parental parenting styles and the individual's ability to control themselves. Therefore, it is important to understand how parental authoritarian parenting styles and self-control contribute to students' aggressive behavior. This study aims to analyze the influence of maternal authoritarian parenting styles, paternal authoritarian parenting styles, and self-control on aggressive behavior in adolescents. The study used a quantitative approach with a causality method. The sample consisted of 279 students in grades 10 and 11 of SMKN 2 Karawang. The instruments used included the Parental Authority Questionnaire (PAQ) to measure parental parenting styles, the Brief Self-Control Scale (BSCS) to measure self-control, and the Aggression Questionnaire to measure students' levels of aggressiveness. The results showed that maternal authoritarian parenting styles significantly influenced aggressive behavior, as did paternal authoritarian parenting styles and self-control. All three simultaneously had a significant influence on students' aggressive behavior. Quantitatively, authoritarian parenting styles of mothers, fathers, and self-control contributed 23.1% to aggressive behavior, while the remaining 76.9% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study. These findings emphasize the importance of appropriate parenting styles and strengthening adolescents' self-control skills to minimize aggressive behavior at school.

Abstract

Aggressive behavior in adolescents is one of the problems that often arise in the school environment and can be influenced by several factors, including parenting styles and individual self-control abilities. This study aims to determine the effect of parental authoritarian parenting and self-control students ‘aggressive behavior. This study uses a quantitative approach with a causality method. The research respondents were 279 students of grades 10 dan 11 of SMKN 2 Karawang using 3 scales, namely the Parental Authority Questionnaire (PAQ), Brief Self-Control Scale (BSCS), AND The Aggression Questionnaire as a data collection tool. The result of this study indicate that maternal authoritarian parenting significantly influences aggressive behavior, paternal authoritarian parenting significantly influences aggressive behavior, self-control significantly influences aggressive behavior, and maternal, parental authotitarian parenting and self control simultaneously influence aggressive behavior. Maternal, paternal, and self-control have an influence of 23,1 % on aggressive behavior, the remaining 76,9 % is likely explained by other factors not included in this study. The findings of this study provide a deeper understanding of how both maternal and paternal authoritarian parenting, as well as self-control, contribute to aggressive behavior. It is noteworthy that maternal and paternal authoritarian parenting independently have significant impacts on aggressive behavior, which suggests that both parents play an important role in shaping their children's emotional and behavioral responses. Additionally, the study reveals that self-control serves as a buffer, moderating the influence of parenting styles on aggression. The combined influence of these factors—parenting styles and self-control—accounts for 23.1% of the variance in aggressive behavior, indicating that other external or internal factors, such as peer influence, socio-economic background, or mental health, may also contribute to adolescent aggression.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of future expectation orientation and family functioning on quarter-life crisis among young adults in Karawang Regency. The research employs a quantitative method with a causal design. Participants consist of 204 young adults aged 18 to 25 years residing in Karawang Regency, comprising 71 males and 133 females. Sampling was conducted using the convenience sampling technique. Data collection utilized three psychological scales: the Quarter Life Crisis Scale, the Education and Work Future Expectation Scale, and the Family Function Scale. Data analysis techniques included normality test, linearity test, multiple regression analysis, and categorization test. The results indicate that future expectation orientation and family functioning significantly influence quarter-life crisis among young adults in Karawang Regency. The combined influence of future expectation orientation and family functioning on quarter-life crisis is 3.9%, with the remaining variance attributed to other unexamined factors.

Abstract

Every individual basically has a drive to achieve inner satisfaction and a balanced psychological condition, known as psychological well-being. Late adolescents tend to experience significant changes in the process of becoming adults, which often causes developmental pressure and has an impact on psychological well-being. This study aims to determine the effect of social support and self-efficacy on the psychological well-being of late adolescents in Karawang. The method in this study uses a quantitative approach with a causality design. The number of participants was 390 people aged 17 to 21 years who were selected using convenience techniques. Data collection was carried out using three measuring instruments, namely the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS), General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES), and Ryff's Psychological Well-Being Scale. The results of the study showed a sig value of 0.00 (p< 0.05) namely Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected, meaning that social support and self-efficacy had a significant effect on the psychological well-being of late adolescents. The R² value of 0.777 shows that 77.7% of psychological well-being has a strong influence on variations in social support and self-efficacy. This shows that support from the social environment of family, friends, and important figures in an individual's life, as well as the individual's ability to believe in their potential in facing life's challenges, are important determining factors in helping adolescents achieve optimal psychological well-being.

Abstract

Adolescents are a vulnerable age group prone to engaging in various risk-taking behaviors as part of their identity exploration and exposure to social influences. This study aimed to examine the effect of self-control and conformity on the tendency of risk-taking behavior among late adolescents in Karawang. The research employed a quantitative approach with a causal design. The sample consisted of 388 adolescents aged 18–22 years, selected through convenience sampling. The instruments used included the Risk Taking Behavior Scale, the Brief Self-Control Scale (BSCS), and the Conformity Scale. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results indicated that self-control significantly affects the tendency of risk-taking behavior. In addition, conformity also influences the tendency of risk-taking behavior. Simultaneously, self-control and conformity were proven to have an effect on the tendency of risk-taking behavior, contributing 77.8%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of self-control and conformity on the tendency of bullying among adolescents in Karawang Regency. The study employed a quantitative approach with a causal design. The sample consisted of 204 adolescents aged 12–18 years, selected using a convenience sampling technique. The instruments used were the Olweus Bullying Questionnaire (OBVQ-R), the Brief Self-Control Scale (BSCS), and the Conformity Scale. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The partial test results showed that the significance value of X1 was 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that Ha1 was accepted and H01 was rejected, meaning that self-control has an influence on the tendency of bullying. The significance value of X2 was 0.027 < 0.05, indicating that Ha2 was accepted and H02 was rejected, meaning that conformity has an influence on the tendency of bullying. The simultaneous test results showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that Ha3 was accepted and H03 was rejected, which means that self-control and conformity jointly influence the tendency of bullying. The findings demonstrated that the significance value was 0.000 (p < 0.05), meaning that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. Thus, self-control and conformity significantly influence the tendency of bullying. The effect size of 13.1% indicates that these two variables together are able to explain the variation in the tendency of bullying.

Abstract

Instagram users entering emerging adulthood are vulnerable to self-assessment, which can increase self-acceptance, while negative comments can cause feelings of rejection. This condition is related to self-esteem, which is influenced by parenting patterns, among other factors. This study aims to determine the effect of parenting patterns on self-esteem in emerging adulthood among Instagram users in Bekasi. This study uses a quantitative method with a causality design and purposive sampling technique. Since the population size is unknown, the sample size was determined using Cochran's formula, resulting in 204 respondents aged 18–25 years. The research instruments included the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES) and the Parental Authority Questionnaire (PAQ) versions for fathers and mothers. The results showed that, partially, authoritarian fathering and authoritative mothering significantly influenced self-esteem, while permissive fathering, permissive mothering, authoritarian mothering, and authoritative fathering did not. Simultaneously, authoritarian fathering and authoritative mothering influenced self-esteem with an effect size of 10.3%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh interaksi teman sebaya dan kontrol diri terhadap perilaku seksual pranikah pada remaja di Kabupaten Karawang. Desain penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif, teknik pengambilan sampel nonprobability sampling dengan jenis kuota sampling, subjek pada penelitian ini sebanyak 385 orang. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan tiga skala yaitu interaksi teman sebaya, kontrol diri, dan perilaku seksual dengan model skala likert yang dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan analisis data menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh interaksi teman sebaya dan kontrol diri terhadap perilaku seksual pranikah pada remaja di Kabupaten Karawang dengan perolehan nilai F = 0,024 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 kurang dari 0,05 (p<0,05). Besarnya sumbangan yang diberikan interaksi teman sebaya dan kontrol diri terhadap perilaku seksual pranikah remaja adalah sebesar 1,9%.
