Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap penerimaan diri orang tua yang memiliki anak tunagrahita. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif asosiasi kausal. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan orang tua dari siswa tunagrahita SLB X di Karawang. Teknik sampling menggunakan nonprobability sampling dengan teknik sampel jenuh sebanyak 122 responden. Skala yang digunakan yaitu Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Sosial Support (MSPSS) dan Berger’s Self-Acceptance Scale. Teknik analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 0,05, maka Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak, artinya ada pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap penerimaan diri orang tua yang memiliki anak tunagrahita di SLB X karawang. Pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap penerimaan diri orang tua yang memiliki anak tunagrahita pada SLB X di Karawang sebesar 34,4%, sisanya 65,5% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara dukungan sosial dan religiusitas terhadap resiliensi pada remaja akhir pasca putus cinta. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan jumlah responden yang didapatkan sebanyak 290 responden. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) untuk mengukur dukungan sosial dan The Centrality of Religiosity (CRS) digunakan untuk mengukur religiusitas, dan The Connor-Davidson Ressillience Scale (CD-RISC) digunakan untuk mengukur resiliensi. teknik analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara bersama-sama dukungan sosial dan religiusitas berpengaruh terhadap resiliensi sebesar 21,8%. Selanjutnya 78,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

Technological advancements have significantly impacted their users, including negative effects such as cyberbullying. According to a survey by the Association of Internet Service Providers in Indonesia (APJII), internet users are predominantly from the early adulthood age group, with West Java ranking second in highest internet penetration among the Indonesian islands. This study aims to determine whether self-control and emotion regulation influence cyberbullying behavior among emerging adults in West Java. The research employs a quantitative method with a causal design. The study includes 385 respondents selected through convenience sampling. Researchers utilized three standardized scales: the Brief Self-Control Scale (BSCS), Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ), and Cyberbullying Perpetration (CBP). Data analysis was conducted using multiple regression analysis (T-test and F-test) with SPSS version 25.0 for Windows. The research findings show a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating that self-control and emotion regulation have a significant influence on cyberbullying behavior. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted while the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, meaning that self-control and emotion regulation indeed influence cyberbullying behavior among emerging adults in West Java, contributing 18.5% to the variance. Individuals in emerging adulthood are encouraged to strengthen their self-control and emotion regulation to reduce cyberbullying behavior, thereby creating a healthier and safer online environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak kontrol diri terhadap perilaku phubbing di kalangan generasi Z di Karawang. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain kausalitas, melibatkan 100 responden berusia 12-27 tahun, yang berada pada fase remaja hingga dewasa awal, yang dipilih melalui teknik convenience sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah BSCS (Brief Self-Control Scale) dan GSP (Generic Scale of Phubbing). Teknik analisis data meliputi uji normalitas, uji linearitas, uji regresi linear sederhana, uji koefisien determinasi, serta uji kategorisasi menggunakan software SPSS 25.0 for Windows. Hasil analisis menunjukan nilai p = 0,000 (p<0,05), artinya kontrol diri memiliki pengaruh terhadap perilaku phubbing. Koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,058 menunjukkan bahwa 5,8% dari variasi perilaku phubbing dapat dijelaskan oleh kontrol diri, sementara 94,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak disebutkan dalam penelitian ini. Hal ini mengidentifikasi bahwa kontrol diri merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku phubbing pada generasi Z di Karawang. This study aims to explore the impact of self-control on phubbing behavior among generation Z in Karawang. The method used is quantitative with a causality design, involving 100 respondents aged 12-27 years, who are in the adolescent to early adulthood phase, selected through convenience sampling techniques. The measuring instruments used are BSCS (Brief Self-Control Scale) and GSP (Generic Scale of Phubbing). Data analysis techniques include normality tests, linearity tests, simple linear regression tests, determination coefficient tests, and categorization tests using SPSS 25.0 for Windows software. The results of the analysis show a p value = 0.000 (p <0.05), meaning that self-control has an influence on phubbing behavior, the determination coefficient (R Square) of 0.058 indicates that 5.8% of the variation in phubbing behavior can be explained by self-control, while 94.2% is influenced by other factors not mentioned in this study. This identifies that self-control is one of the factors that influences phubbing behavior in generation Z in Karawang.

Abstract

Kejahatan seksual menjadi bahasan serius pada satu dekade terakhir. Jenis kejahatan seksual semakin beragam dan angkanya terus meningkat tiap tahunnya. Begitu pula yang terjadi di Karawang dengan intensitas dilaporkan terjadinya kejahatan seksual sebanyak satu kali dalam satu minggu. Menurut data yang didapatkan dari lapas klass IIA Karawang sampai bulan Juli 2020 tercatat ada 80 orang narapidana dengan kasus kejahatan seksual. Salah satu faktor individu melakukan kejahatan seksual adalah karena hilangnya moral yang mereka miliki dan membebaskan diri dari sanksi dan rasa bersalah atas kejahatan yang telah dilakukan hal ini disebut moral disengagement. Moral terkait dengan kecerdasan emosional yang dimiliki individu terutama empati, dan berkaitan juga dengan bagaimana individu menggunakan pusat kontrol kehiduapannta atau disebut juga locus of control. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat bagaimana peran empati dan locus of control terhadap moral disengagement. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif, teknik yang digunakan adalah sample jenuh dengan menjadikan seluruh populasi sebagai sample yaitu 80 narapidana. Pengambilan data menggunakan tiga skala likert yaitu skala empati, skala locus of control, dan skala moral disengagement. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa empati berperan negatif terhadap moral disengagement artinya semakin tinggi empati semakin tidak aktif moral disengagement dengan nilai peran sebesar 26%, dan locus of control menunjukan peran positif terhadap moral disengagement dengan nilai peran sebesar 14% dan didominasi oleh locus of control eksternal. Pada kedua variabel X memiliki nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000 lebih kecil dari 0,05 atau p< 0,05. Sexual crimes have been a serious discussion in the last decade. The type of sexual crime is increasingly diverse and the number of crimes always increases annually. Similarly, it happened in Karawang with the intensity of the reported occurrence of sexual crimes once a week. According to the data obtained from the correctional institution of klass IIA Karawang until July 2020 recorded there were 80 people convicts with the case of sexual crimes. One factor of individuals committing sexual crimes was because of the moral loss they had and freed themselves from sanctions and guilt over the crimes that no passive voice had done that called moral disengagement. The Moral is related to the emotional intelligence the individual has especially empathy for and relates also to how humans saw their life that’s locus of control. The research was conducted to see how the role of empathy and locus of control against moral disengagement. The method used in this research is quantitative. The technique used is a saturated sample by making the whole population as a sample of 80 prisoners. Data retrieval using three Likert scales is the empathy scale, locus of control scale, and moral disengagement scale. Analysis of this research data uses multiple regression analyses. Based on the results of data analysis shows that empathy plays a negative role in moral disengagement. It means the higher empathy of the less active moral disengagement with the role value by 26%. Locus of control shows a positive role in moral disengagement with a role value of 14% and is dominated by an external locus of control. In both variables X has a significance value of 0.000 smaller than 0.05 or P < 0.05.

Abstract

Cyberbullying diakui sebagai masalah sosial yang berpotensi mengakibatkan konsekuensi serius dan berkepanjangan bagi kehidupan seseorang. Individu yang mendapatkan cyberbullying di masa kanak-kanak atau remaja akan melakukan cyberbullying kepada orang lain di masa dewasa muda. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peran self-esteem sebagai moderator dalam pengaruh cyberbullying victimization terhadap cyberbullying perpetration. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah individu dewasa muda yang berusia 18 sampai 25 tahun di Jawa Barat. Adapun metode sampel adalah non-probability sampling. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan teknik purposive sampling. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 385 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala cyberbullying dan self-esteem. Uji analisis data dengan uji regresi dan uji moderasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai p = 0.001 < 0.05, Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak, artinya self-esteem berperan sebagai moderator antara cyberbullying victimization terhadap cyberbullying perpetration.

Abstract

Non-Suicide Self Injury (NSSI) or self-harm is being widely discussed and conducted by adolescents in Indonesia. This study was conducted on adolescents in Karawang using 3 measuring instruments, GDMS, DERS-18 and Father Involvement Scale. The purpose is to determine the dynamics of decision making in adolescents who have a tendency to commit NSSI. The population in this study was 116 adolescents age range 12-21 years who live in Karawang. The analysis used JASP by looking at path analysis both directly and indirectly. Decision making is divided into 5 types. The results is a direct influence of spontaneous decision making on NSSI. Showing that individuals who have a tendency to make decisions quickly and without thinking carefully are at higher risk of committing NSSI. Furthermore, emotional regulation plays an important role in mediating the influence of other decision making on NSSI. And also mediates the influence of father involvement on NSSI.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gratitude dan social support terhadap psychological well-being pada wanita dewasa awal yang berkarir dan lajang Kabupaten Karawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain kausalitas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 215 responden dengan menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala Ryyf’s Psychological Well-being scale (RPWBS), Gratitude Questionnaire-6 (GQ-6), dan Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS). Analisis data menggunakan uji regresi berganda (uji T dan uji F). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan nilai sig 0,000 (p< 0,05), yaitu Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak, artinya bahwa gratitude dan social support memiliki pengaruh  terhadap psychological well-being dengan sumbangan pengaruhnya sebesar 98,7%. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa tingkat gratitude dan social support yang tinggi dapat memperkuat psychological well-being wanita dewasa awal berkarir dan lajang.

Abstract

In current society, academic procrastination has emerged as one of factors contributing to academic failure among youth. They often prioritize leisure activities over fulfilling academic responsibilities. The objective of this study is to examine the role of emotion regulation as a mediator in the relationship between internal problems, including non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI), paternal involvement, and dependent decision-making, on academic procrastination in adolescents in Karawang, West Java, Indonesia. This study used quantitative survey research design involving 148 adolescents who lived in Karawang as participants. The data collection technique was using 4 scales, there are The Self Harm Screening Inventory (SHSI), Brief Version Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS-18), Perception of Father Involvement Scale and General Decision-Making Style Questionnaire (GDMS). Research data analyzes by using JASP 0.19.1, an open-source program for statistical analysis. The results demonstrate that the relationship between NSSI and academic procrastination, father engagement and academic procrastination, and dependent decision making and academic procrastination may all be mediated by emotion regulation. Research finding indicates the potential of emotion regulation to function as a mediator in the relationship between variables and academic procrastination. Specifically, NSSI affects academic procrastination through emotion regulation as a mediator. Similarly, father involvement influences academic procrastination when emotion regulation is considered as a mediator. Lastly, dependent decision-making impacts academic procrastination if emotion regulation serves as a mediator. In conclusion, this research contributed to showed the importance of emotion regulation in explaining the reason behind academic procrastination. Especially for vulnerable youth who have less father involvement or have performed NSSI. They may not perform academic procrastination if they have high emotion regulation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of self-esteem on social media self-presentation in emerging adulthood Instagram users. The subjects of this study were men and women aged 18-25 years in Karawang Regency. The determination of the subjects was carried out using a non-probability sampling technique, especially convenience sampling, totaling 204 respondents. This study uses a quantitative method, the data collection technique in this study is using the Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale (RSES) to measure self-esteem and the Self Presentation on Facebook Questionnaire (SPFBQ) to measure self-presentation on social media. The data analysis technique used is simple regression. The results of this study show a p value = 0.447> 0.05, namely Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected, meaning that self-esteem does not have a significant effect on self-presentation. This finding indicates that self-presentation on Instagram in emerging adulthood is not influenced by self-esteem, but is likely influenced by other factors such as social pressure, peer influence, or motivation to form an ideal self-image. Therefore, further studies considering mediation or moderation variables are suggested to understand more comprehensively the relationship between self-esteem and self-presentation of social media users in this generation.
