Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of school principal leadership, work motivation and compensation on performance. The quality of educational output cannot be separated from the relationship between supporting factors, seen from the average achievement of the Vocational School Teacher Competency Test (UKG) results in the Bina 1 Region of Lebak Regency which is still below the 2015 UKG Minimum Achievement Criteria (KCM) of 5.5 or in the range figure 5.2. The method used in this research is a survey with correlational techniques. The target population in this research is all State Vocational School teachers in the bina 1 area of Lebak Regency, totaling 265 people. Considering that the number of members of the target population is not too large, the reachable population in this case is the same as the target population. The number of samples used in this research was 82 teachers taken randomly. Partially or jointly, there is a significant influence on the independent variables of principal leadership (X1), work motivation (X2) and compensation (X3) on the dependent variable on the performance of State Vocational School teachers in Lebak Regency (Y).

Abstract

This research attempted to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy of the Kampus Mengajar program and its improvement strategies based on the Edward III approach. This qualitative research was conducted through an exploratory approach. The authors chose the Faculty of Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, as the object of this research, with students, partner institutions, and university MBKM managers as the unit of analysis. Data analysis was carried out using NVivo 12 software based on the variables and indicators that had been prepared. The results indicate that communication has a significant role in program implementation. Communication patterns in the policy context must meet the aspects of information transmission, clarity of information, and consistency of information, where the policies communicated implications must be precise, accurate, and consistent so that decision-makers and implementers are more consistent in implementing.

Abstract

This study investigates how digital supervision improves teacher performance in Indonesian secondary schools. Eight SMA Labschool Universitas Syiah Kuala participants, including principals, supervisors, and teachers were interviewed using a qualitative method. NVivo 12 was used to analyze word frequencies, themes, and relationships. Findings reveal that digital supervision enhances teacher performance by improving technological and pedagogical competence, fostering creativity, and increasing administrative efficiency—tools like Google Classroom and Zoom support real-time feedback and collaboration. However, limited infrastructure, weak Internet connectivity, and digital skill gaps persist. The study concludes that digital supervision significantly improves teaching quality when backed by sufficient training and facilities. It recommends targeted digital training and improved infrastructure to optimize implementation.
