Abstract

With the advancement of digital transformation, EMR has become an important step towards operational efficiency and better care. Through Permenkes No.24 of 2022, all health facilities in Indonesia are expected to have implemented the EMR system by the end of 2023. This is a mixed-methods study that combines primary data from interviews with 5 respondents and secondary data regarding BPJS claims during the period before and after EMR implementation, from January to August 2023. Secondary data analysis will be conducted using tables, graphs, and descriptive statistics such as mean, median, and standard deviation to detail and explain changes in BPJS claims patterns before and after EMR implementation. Qualitative data will be analysed. The results showed that EMR implementation increased the number of cases (11.27%) and the nominal amount of BPJS claims (15.04%). In addition, this study identified several factors that became challenges after the change to EMR. These factors include data errors, lack of staff training, technical constraints, and changes in operational processes that have not been fully integrated with the EMR system. Mitigation strategies include staff training, periodic monitoring and evaluation, internal claim audits, improvement of claim business processes, and monitoring and evaluation from management. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the change to electronic medical records (EMR) at Sultan Agung Islamic Hospital has increased starting from the number of patients, the number of cases and the nominal amount of BPJS claims. Despite the increase in the nominal amount of BPJS claims, there are still challenges and problems that need to be overcome after the implementation of EMR.

Abstract

Electronic medical records (EMR) have made the management of patient health information more efficient by replacing manual record keeping. However, health workers still need to understand and apply RME well to get the maximum benefits. The role of counseling is needed for health workers in changing the use of manual media to digital. The research method uses scoping review. Based on the PubMed database as many as 88,041 articles with the keyword "electronic medical records" and as many as 84 articles with the search keyword "electronic medical records and video learning". The results of article screening in the last 10 years from 2013 – 2023 were 74 articles. Then there are exceptions based on article type, namely Clinical Trial as many as 2 articles and Randomized Controlled Trial as many as 1 article. So that articles that match the theme: review and systematic review as many as 10 articles. VOSviewer generates network, overlay and density visualization. The role of counseling through video media in electronic medical records is very important. The counseling provided does not help them deal with social, emotional, and psychological problems that may arise as a result of such changes. Keywords: scooping review, literature review, healthcare professional, VOSviewer, technology

Abstract

Introduction: Anemia among adolescent girls remains a global health concern, with prevalence reaching 30.7% among women aged 15–49 years in 2023. Education is essential in shaping behaviors toward anemia prevention. The rapid expansion of digital platforms provides new opportunities to deliver engaging and accessible health education. This review aimed to map available evidence on digital media interventions designed to improve anemia-related behaviors among adolescent girls. Methods: This review followed PRISMA guidelines. Eligible studies were interventional in design (quasi-experimental or pre–post), evaluated digital media interventions (e.g., videos, animations, social media, mobile applications, websites, or e-leaflets), targeted adolescent girls aged 12–22 years, and reported at least one behavioral outcome related to anemia. Studies published between 2014 and 2024 in English or Indonesian full text were included. Exclusion criteria comprised studies published before 2014, non-original research, studies not specific to anemia or adolescent girls, interventions not involving digital media, inaccessible paid articles, and ineligible designs. Searches were conducted in Scopus, ScienceDirect, and PubMed, and completed on 24 December 2024. Screening and extraction were managed using Mendeley and followed the PRISMA stages. Data were extracted on study characteristics, intervention details, comparator groups (where available), outcomes, and findings. Results: Nine studies fulfilled the criteria. Most reported significant improvements in knowledge, while some also showed gains in attitudes and practices. The most frequently used interventions included animated videos, mobile applications, and social media platforms, with interactive and visually engaging formats yielding stronger effects. Conclusion: Digital media interventions have demonstrated effectiveness in improving anemia-related behaviors among adolescent girls, with consistent effects observed in knowledge. Integration of these approaches into adolescent health programs is recommended. However, further rigorous research comparing different digital modalities is needed to guide implementation in diverse settings.

Abstract

Hospital nutrition services aim to optimize patient’s nutritional status through the provision of appropriate diets. Currently, technological advancements can be utilized to support the management of nutrition services by developing digital information systems for meal provision. This study aims to describe the information systems that have been developed for hospital nutrition services and their benefits. The method used is a scoping review. Articles were collected from 3 databases: Scopus, PubMed, and Google Scholar. The keywords used in the search were: “Electronic Food Service” AND “Hospital” and “Nutrition Information System” AND “Hospital” AND “Service”. A total of 10 relevant articles were selected. The findings show that the developed information systems can be used by staff and patients. Systems for dietitians are designed to assist in assessing nutritional status and planning dietary interventions, while systems for patients enable them to choose and order their meals independently. The benefits include reducing staff workload, ensuring timely food distribution, decreasing errors in food delivery and food waste, and improving patient satisfaction. The conclusion, information systems provide valuable support in enhancing the quality of nutrition services and patient satisfaction.
