Abstract

Population prediction is an estimate of the population in the future based on assumptions from the population growth rate. Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the population in Banda Aceh City is increasing every year with an average growth of around 2%. The purpose of this research is to predict the population in Banda Aceh City using the Laplace transformation on exponential model. The exponential model is a simple model to describe population growth patterns. Using Laplace transformation can easily get a difinitive analytic solution. The Laplace transformation of the exponential model is used to calculate the growth rate with data on the population of Banda Aceh City in 2015-2022. Based on the results of the study, the value of the growth rate (r) is obtained from determining the precentage error (MAPE) of each model to determine the predicted value that is closest to the actual value. So, model VII is the most accurate with a value (r) is 0,00412. The result of this study also show that model VII is used to predict the population in Banda Aceh City in 2030 when is 266.259 people.

Abstract

This study explores operational innovation as a strategic solution for cost efficiency and profit improvement in the plastic waste processing industry. The research aims to identify effective strategies and methods for operational optimization while addressing key challenges such as high production costs, global competition, and environmental sustainability. The methodology involves a qualitative approach with case studies and literature analysis to examine the application of smart technologies, lean manufacturing, and circular economy principles. Findings highlight significant cost reductions, enhanced operational efficiency, and strengthened competitive advantage. The study contributes to the development of sustainable practices and innovation-driven growth for the plastic waste processing sector.

Abstract

The unit group of rings Z_n denoted by U_n is widely used in pure mathematics and applied mathematics. It makes the mathematics calculation in U_n more complicated as n gets bigger. However, when U_n is cyclic, the calculation is no longer matter. In previous research, it was shown that U_n is cyclic if and only if n = 2;4; p^k;2p^k for any odd prim p and any positive integer k. This statement is known as Gauss Theorem for primitive root. This paper aims to reprove The Gauss Theorem using various tools like divisibility in Z, group and ring, polynomials over integral domain and fields. It is stated by showing that U_ab is not cyclic where a,b 2, (a,b) = 1. Thus, the necessity for U_n to be cyclic, n must be of the form 2k; pk or 2pk. Furthermore, we find U_(2^k ) is cyclic if only if k {1,2}. And then, proved that U_p is cyclic and using induction on k, we find that U_(p^k ) is cyclic. Finally, it is also found that U_(2p^k ) is cyclic so that Gauss Theorem is proven.

Abstract

As the number of private vehicles grows, so does the demand for parking space. It was also in charge of traffic congestion and high parking fees in downtown, particularly near public services and the central business district. The goal of this paper was to optimize path planning with the least amount of energy and the most parking space. To achieve this goal, three parts of optimization were used. They were divided into three categories: optimal parking space for obtaining area bounded and parking angle, path planning with boundaries and constraints to find the path with the least amount of energy, and finally vehicle direction for comparison with other recent works. The simulation revealed that the best parking space could result in a parking angle as the final vehicle direction. Based on the results, the produced path was more efficient, with an objective function energy of 394.44 unit of energy and a vehicle speed of 4.3 km/h. Because of its closeness to previous work, the route verified that it could be driven in reverse parking action.

Abstract

PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk Kandatel Provinsi Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam telah memperkenalkan layanan internet broadband Speedy sebagai salah satu produk andalan mereka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis strategi pemasaran yang digunakan oleh PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk Kandatel Provinsi Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam untuk memasarkan layanan internet broadband Speedy dan mengkaji hubungannya dengan kemampuan kerja, kesadaran kerja, dan motivasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data dari responden yang terdiri dari pelanggan Speedy di PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk Kandatel Provinsi Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk Kandatel Provinsi Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam menggunakan berbagai strategi pemasaran seperti promosi, iklan, dan penyediaan layanan yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan. Ditemukan bahwa kemampuan kerja, kesadaran kerja, dan motivasi berhubungan positif dengan penggunaan layanan Speedy. Pelanggan yang memiliki kemampuan kerja yang baik cenderung lebih memanfaatkan layanan internet untuk keperluan kerja mereka. Kesadaran kerja juga berhubungan dengan penggunaan layanan internet yang lebih efektif dan efisien, sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas kerja. Selain itu, motivasi pelanggan untuk menggunakan layanan internet juga berkaitan dengan kemampuan kerja dan kesadaran kerja mereka. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi pemasaran yang baik akan membantu meningkatkan penggunaan layanan Speedy dan dapat berdampak positif pada kemampuan kerja, kesadaran kerja, dan motivasi pelanggan. Oleh karena itu, disarankan bagi PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk Kandatel Provinsi Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam untuk terus melakukan evaluasi dan perbaikan terhadap strategi pemasaran mereka untuk dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan dan meningkatkan penggunaan layanan Speedy di wilayah mereka. Selain itu, pelanggan juga perlu meningkatkan kemampuan kerja, kesadaran kerja, dan motivasi mereka untuk dapat memanfaatkan layanan internet dengan lebih efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

Desentralisasi merupakan kebijakan yang diterapkan di Indonesia untuk memberikan lebih banyak wewenang kepada pemerintah daerah dalam mengelola urusan pemerintahan serta layanan publik. Desentralisasi bertujuan untuk mempercepat pembangunan daerah sesuai dengan potensi dan karakteristik masing-masing daerah. Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta untuk melahirkan inovasi kebijakan dalam bentuk Kartu Jakarta Pintar (KJP) sebagai bentuk jaminan sosial berbasis pendidikan yang menyasar siswa dari keluarga tidak mampu agar tetap dapat mengakses pendidikan secara utuh tanpa terbebani biaya sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi kebijakan Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta dalam meluncurkan program Kartu Jakarta Pintar (KJP) bagi siswa kurang mampu terhadap pencapaian prestasi belajarnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan studi pustaka. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Program Kartu Jakarta Pintar (KJP) memang memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa dari keluarga kurang mampu. Pengaruh ini timbul melalui mekanisme pengurangan beban ekonomi, peningkatan motivasi dan kedisiplinan belajar, serta dukungan lingkungan keluarga dan sekolah yang lebih kondusif. Namun, efektivitas tersebut perlu terus dijaga dan ditingkatkan melalui perbaikan implementasi di lapangan agar tujuan besar program ini, yaitu mewujudkan keadilan sosial di bidang pendidikan, benar-benar tercapai.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of advertising and consumer satisfaction on consumer loyalty to Pepsodent products in Banda Aceh City. The population in this study were Pepsodent consumers in Banda Aceh City, with a total sample of 100 respondents using convenience sampling technique. The model used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that advertising and consumer satisfaction had a significant effect on consumer loyalty to Pepsodent products in Banda Aceh City by 80.2% and the remaining 19.8% was explained by other variables outside of this study such as product quality, brand image and price and etc. The value of the correlation coefficient (R) indicates that the relationship (correlation) between the independent variable and the dependent variable is 89.6%, meaning that consumer loyalty to Pepsodent products in Banda Aceh City has a strong and positive relationship with correlation advertisement(X1) and consumer satisfaction (X2). The results of the f test statistic test show that advertising and consumer satisfaction simultaneously have a significant effect on consumer loyalty to Pepsodent products in Banda Aceh City, with value Fcount>Ftable (197,035>3,090).While partially advertising and customer satisfaction have a significant effect on consumer loyalty to Pepsodent products in Banda Aceh City, with a value of tcount> ttable (9.705 and 3.339>1.984). Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis, it can be seen that from the two variables studied, it turns out that the variable advertisement(X1) has the most dominant influence on consumer loyalty to Pepsodent products in Banda Aceh City, with a coefficient value of 0.689, and then followed by the variable consumer satisfaction(X2) with a coefficient value of 0.264.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of the abilities of male and female non-Muslim students during their education at Teuku Umar University, which is a Special Autonomous Region with a focus on implementing Islamic Sharia. The research method used is qualitative with 38 informants, consisting of 2 non Muslim students, 1 Muslim student who is a peer of the non-Muslim informant selected by purposive sampling, and 35 Muslim students selected by random sampling. The results of the study showed that there were no significant obstacles in the interaction and adaptation of non-Muslim students to the learning environment, although initially there was a feeling of discomfort, especially for non-Muslim female students when dealing with Muslim female students who wore headscarves or hijab. Islamic Sharia courses can be replaced with a certificate from the religious leader of the student concerned. The experience of culture shock experienced by non-Muslim students is considered a valuable experience. However, the limited understanding and views of each other's religion, culture, and customs require non-Muslim students to be more careful in mingling. This is sometimes considered by Muslim students as a form of self-exclusion and arrogance. Access to education is not limited; all students, both Muslim and non-Muslim, have the same rights. Regarding culture, there are differences that are felt as natural, despite protective efforts from Muslim student groups that sometimes seem discriminatory.In conclusion, despite religious and cultural differences, non-Muslim students are able to adapt well to the environment of Teuku Umar University which is based on Islamic Sharia, with equal rights and access, but it is necessary to increase interfaith understanding to reduce misunderstandings and exclusive attitudes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of online customer ratings and reviews on online purchasing decisions in the Shopee marketplace. With the development of e-commerce in Indonesia, consumers are increasingly relying on information from other users when making purchasing decisions. High ratings and positive reviews are intended to increase consumer trust and encourage purchases, while low ratings and negative reviews can reduce purchase intentions. The survey method is a survey distributed to Shopee users who shop. The resulting data is analyzed using regression analysis techniques to determine the relationship between rating variables, reviews, and purchasing decisions. This study shows that there is a significant positive influence between online customer ratings and reviews on purchasing decisions. The higher the rating and the more positive the reviews, the more likely consumers are to buy. This study helps business owners and marketers understand the importance of online reputation management and effective marketing strategies in the digital era. Therefore, sellers in the Shopee marketplace must pay attention to the quality of their products and services and actively manage customer reviews to increase the appeal of their products.

Abstract

A graphic design training using Adobe Photoshop was conducted to enhance the visual design skills of students at SMA 1 Kaway XVI. The purpose of this program was to introduce fundamental design concepts and provide practical experience for students who had limited or no experience. Prior exposure to designing software. The methodology involved observation, pre-test and post-test assessments, and hands-on practice in creating promotional posters using Adobe Photoshop. A total of 20 students participated and demonstrated significant improvement in their design abilities. The evaluation results revealed increased understanding of design elements such as typography, color, and visual composition. Moreover, the training encouraged students to be more creative and confident in expressing their ideas visually. The outcomes of this initiative are not only applicable in an academic context but also broaden the students’ entrepreneurial perspective in the creative industry. This training proves that a practical, technology-based approach can serve as an effective solution in developing students’ technical skills in the digital era.
