Abstract

This study aims to analyse the influence of User generated content (UGC), Firm generated content (FGC), and Celebrity endorser on brand trust with a case study of Azarine's OVERCLAIM Serum product on the TikTok platform. TikTok, as a social media with rapid growth, is a strategic place for companies to utilise creative content so that it can influence brand trust. The research method used is quantitative method. The population of this study were TikTok users and users of Azarine Niacinamide 10% + Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate Glorious Serum products. The sample used was 100 respondents. The sample technique used was purposive sampling which was obtained from distributing online questionnaires. The type of data used are primary and secondary data. The data collected will be analysed through IBM SPSS version 25.0. The results showed that user generated content has a positive and significant effect on brand trust, firm generated content has a significant positive effect on brand trust, and celebrity endorsers have a significant positive effect on brand trust.

Abstract

Advancements in information technology have accelerated the growth of online marketplaces, creating intense competition among e-commerce platforms in Indonesia. Generation Z, as a digital-native consumer group, represents a crucial segment to understand in the context of online shopping behavior. This study aims to evaluate the factors influencing Generation Z’s purchasing decisions on Tokopedia, focusing on promotion, advertising appeal, brand image, and the “free shipping” tagline. A quantitative research approach was employed using a survey of 106 respondents. The data were analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) using SmartPLS 4. The results reveal that promotion, brand image, and the “free shipping” tagline have a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions, while advertising appeal does not show a significant influence. These findings provide new insights into enhancing the effectiveness of marketing strategies in responding to Generation Z’s preferences in the digital era. The study’s implications highlight the importance for Tokopedia to strengthen its brand image, maintain consistent promotional strategies, and continue leveraging the “free shipping” tagline as a core marketing strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the influence of price perception, product quality, and brand image on purchasing decisions for Ortuseight sports shoes in Semarang City. The research is motivated by the growing competition within the local footwear industry and the evolving consumer behavior that now considers not only functional aspects but also symbolic and emotional values of products. A quantitative approach was employed, using a survey method through the distribution of questionnaires to 150 respondents who had either purchased or shown interest in Ortuseight products. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine the impact of each independent variable on the dependent variable. The findings reveal that price perception, product quality, and brand image all have a significant and positive effect on purchase decisions. Consumers tend to assess the balance between price and product benefits, evaluate quality based on specifications and durability, and are influenced by brand reputation when making choices. These results highlight the importance for companies to maintain a balance between pricing and quality, while also strengthening brand image—not only in terms of corporate reputation but also in how the product is perceived. This research is expected to offer strategic insights for marketing policy development and serve as a reference for future studies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of green perceived quality and green brand image on green trust and green purchase intention on Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water products. The population of this study were active Management students of Dian Nuswantoro University. The sample used was 70 respondents. The sampling technique used was the probability sampling technique, cluster random sampling type obtained from distributing questionnaires. The type of data used was primary data. The collected data will be analyzed through SEM-PLS with SmartPLS software version 3, including validity tests, reliability tests, R-square and path coefficients. The results of the study stated that green perceived quality and green brand image have a significant effect on green trust. This means that product quality and brand image that are considered environmentally friendly by consumers are important factors in increasing trust in environmentally friendly products. Green perceived quality does not have a significant effect on green purchase intention, this shows that green perceived quality in Garnier micellar cleansing water does not influence consumers enough to buy environmentally friendly products offered. While green brand image and green trust have a significant effect on green purchase intention, meaning that if consumers have a brand image and trust in environmentally friendly products, it will affect the purchase interest of the product. For the mediation effect, it shows that green trust is stated to be able to mediate or become an intermediary for green perceived quality significantly towards green purchase intention. While green brand image does not have a significant effect on green purchase intention through green trust, this shows that green trust so that the intervening variable in this study is stated to be unable to mediate the effect of green brand image on green purchase intention.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of price and perceived value on repurchase intention with purchase decisions as a mediating variable for Indomaret customers in Semarang. The methodology used is quantitative with a Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. Information was collected from 112 respondents who shopped at Indomaret through online and offline surveys. The findings of this research imply that purchasing decisions have a significant impact on repurchase intention. Price is proven to have a significant influence on purchasing decisions, but not directly on repurchase interest. On the other hand, perceived value has a significant influence on both purchasing decisions and repurchase intention. Purchasing decisions are proven to be an important mediating variable in the relationship between price and perceived value and repurchase intention. This research provides insight into effective marketing strategies for Indomaret in increasing consumer loyalty amidst tight competition with Alfamart and other retailers. Apart from that, this research also adds contributions to the literature regarding consumer behavior in the Indonesian retail sector.Keywords: Price, Perceived Value, Purchase Decision, and Repurchase Intention.

Abstract

This research uses a quantitative explanatory survey approach, by distributing questionnaires as a data collection technique. The sampling method used in this research is purposive sampling using the Cochran formula for sampling because the population size is too large and unknown. The research sample consisted of 100 respondents who were consumers of "ADA Supermarket" Siliwangi Semarang. The data analysis technique used is Smart PLS software version 4. The research results show that Service Quality has been proven to have a positive and significant effect on Consumer Satisfaction and customer loyalty. On the other hand, product quality and price do not have a significant effect on consumer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Service Quality can mediate the influence of Customer Loyalty on Consumer Satisfaction, but cannot mediate the influence of Product Quality and Price on Consumer Satisfaction. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the influence of customer experience and customer value on customer loyalty, with customer satisfaction as a mediating variable. The research employs a quantitative explanatory survey approach by distributing questionnaires as the data collection technique. The sampling method used is purposive sampling, applying Hair's formula, resulting in a sample of 120 respondents, including consumers of Saff&Co perfume products on TikTok Shop. Data analysis is conducted using Smart PLS software version 4. The results indicate that customer experience has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, and customer loyalty positively and significantly influences customer satisfaction. Additionally, customer satisfaction mediates the relationship between customer experience, customer value, and customer loyalty. However, customer value does not significantly affect customer loyalty, nor do customer experience and customer value significantly influence customer satisfaction

Abstract

Pertumbuhan pengguna internet di Indonesia mendorong peningkatan aktivitas e-commerce, termasuk di Zalora. Penelitian dilakukan untuk menguji pengaruh harga, gaya hidup, kualitas produk, dan promosi terhadap keputusan pembelian di ecommerce Zalora. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode sampling mengunakan Purposive Sampling. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 125 responden yang merupakan pengguna aktif Zalora di kalangan mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa harga, kualitas, dan promosi memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Harga produk fashion menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan (t hitung = 4.048, signifikansi = 0.000), di mana harga yang kompetitif menjadi pertimbangan utama konsumen. Kualitas produk juga berpengaruh signifikan (t hitung = 2.424, signifikansi = 0.017), dengan konsumen cenderung memilih produk berkualitas tinggi. Promosi terbukti menjadi faktor paling berpengaruh (t hitung = 6.263, signifikansi = 0.000), di mana berbagai bentuk promosi efektif menarik minat beli konsumen. Sebaliknya, gaya hidup tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian (t hitung = 0.689, signifikansi = 0.492). Kesimpulannya penelitian ini dapat memberikan indikasi terhadap ecommerce Zalora untuk meningkatkan keputusan pembelian produk fashion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini tujuannya agar mengukur tingkat pengaruh karakteristik pengguna media sosial, E-WOM, dan kepercayaan terhadap keputusan pembelian pengguna produk perawatan kulit merek skintific . Penelitin ini disusun berdasarkan terjadinya penurunan grafik urutan produk perawatan kulit merek skintific antara tahun 2021 dengan 2022. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah pengguna produk perawatan kulit merek Skintific. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan non-probability sampling yang diperoleh 120 sampel pengguna produk perawatan kulit merek Skintific. Proses Analisa data menggunakan model analisis structural equation model partial least square (SEMPLS) dengan bantuan alat analisis SmartPLS 3.0. Perolehan penelitian memperlihatkan bahwasanya Karakteristik Pengguna Media Sosial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepercayaan pada pemakain produk perawatan kulit merek Skintific. E-WOM berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepercayaan pada pengguna produk perawatan kulit merek Skintific. Kepercayaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian pada pengguna produk perawatan kulit merek Skintific. Karakteristik Pengguna Media Sosial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian pada pengguna produk perawatan kulit merek Skintific. E-WOM berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian pada pengguna produk perawatan kulit merek Skintific. Karakteristik Pengguna Media Sosial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian yang dimediasi oleh kepercayaan pada pengguna produk perawatan kulit merek Skintific.
