Abstract

Nowadays, Chinese tourists dominate Indonesian tourism, an increase in the number of Chinese tourists visiting Bali is quite significant every year. The marketing method that focuses on the Chinese market is still not maximized. This is evidenced by a decrease in the number of Chinese tourists visits. Even now the room occupancy rate targeted by Plataran Hotel Ubud has not yet reached the desired target. The urgency of this research is a degradation in the volume of sales of rooms at Hotel Plataran Ubud, which causes a derivation in the quantity of tourist visits which results in a decrease in employment for the community. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, document studies and questionnaires. The data analysis technique is using qualitative descriptive analysis, IFAS EFAS and SWOT analysis. The results of this study are to produce the right marketing strategy used in increasing the sales volume of hotel rooms at the Ubud Plataran Hotel.

Abstract

Desa Paninjoan dengan lingkungan yang asri dan sejuk ini menjadi desa potensial yang mampu mengembangkan destinasi wisata berbasis panorama alam dan spiritual. Dalam kaitannya dengan globalisasi, keindahan alam sebagai nilai intrinsic yang merupakan perwujudan estiteka dari wisata spiritual alas metapa sudah mengalami perubahan penempatan fasilitas yang tidak memenuhi konsep tri hita karana. Implikasi dari penempatan fasilitas yang tidak sesuai adalah ketidak konsistenan kualitas fasilitas yang dirasakan oleh wisatawan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengkaji peran estetika postmoderen pada pengembangan potensi wisata alas metapa sebagai daya tarik wisata. Penelitian dilakukan pendekatan observasi; kegiatan yang dilakukan secara langsung, tidak langsung terhadap literatur dan hasil penelitian terdahulu yang berkenaan dengan pariwisata terutama tentang desa wisata spiritual. Melalui observasi ditarik kesimpulan mengenai suatu masalah untuk kemudian ditaik kesimpulan. Dengan menggunakan observasi tidak langsung, seorang peneliti memiliki kesempatan untuk lebih dekat dengan bidang penelitian. Ini berarti metode tinjauan pustaka merupkan metode analisis teoritis yang mengkaji dan membahas materi secara teoritis dan deskriptif dan dalam kontek tertentu dapat dilakukan perbandingan dengan sebuah konsep. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah adanya perubahan terhadap nilai-nillai estetika terhadap daya tarik wisata dan tatanan kehidupan masyarakat. Globalisasi mengaalihkan tujuan kehidupan masyarakat yang tidak hanya terpaku pada kulitas atau estetika, namun lebih kepada kuantitas dalam memenuhi kebutuhan wisatawan.

Abstract

This research study aims to explore and uncover the potential of Kreneng Market in Denpasar City as an accessible and inclusive tourist destination. The objective is to identify the challenges and opportunities in enhancing accessibility and creating an inclusive tourism experience for all visitors, including those with special needs. The study adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing interviews, observations, and document analysis to gather data. The findings reveal several challenges faced by Kreneng Market, such as limited physical accessibility, lack of easily accessible information, and communication barriers for visitors with special needs. Additionally, factors such as lack of awareness and understanding of the needs of visitors with special needs, inadequate training for market staff and vendors, and barriers in policy implementation hinder the progress of creating an inclusive tourism environment. Despite these challenges, the research also highlights the efforts made by market management, local government, and other stakeholders in improving accessibility and inclusive tourism. These efforts include physical improvements, staff and vendor training programs, awareness campaigns, and collaboration with the local community. The transformation of Kreneng Market into a tourist attraction has shown positive outcomes in terms of improved accessibility and inclusive tourism experience. Abstract

Sumerta Kaja Traditional Village is one of the traditional villages in Bali which has quite large tourism potential. The beauty of traditional Balinese spa culture is one of the main attractions for tourists visiting this area. However, in this traditional village there is a group of PKK women who have limited knowledge and skills to develop independent economic businesses. Therefore, spa training for the Sumerta Kaja Traditional Village youth organization is important in order to improve their economic quality. This village has significant tourism potential, but the youth organizations in this traditional village are still unable to utilize this potential optimally. They have limited knowledge and skills in the spa sector, making it difficult for them to be involved in developing the tourism sector in their traditional villages. Apart from that, youth organizations are also a group that has an important role in the family and society. Through spa training, they can be economically empowered and have the opportunity to earn additional income. This will give them pride and increase their role and self-confidence in society.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of tourism on water pollution in Lake Batur. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method. The samples taken include 5 points on Lake Batur which represent tourism locations on Lake Batur, namely the pier, restaurants, tourist attractions in Terunyan Village, hot spring attractions and the middle of the lake. Collecting data using observation methods, laboratory test methods and documentation studies. The research begins with direct observation to 3 key informants who can represent the condition of tourism in Lake Batur, namely the surrounding community, business and visitors. Furthermore, water sampling in Lake Batur and continued with laboratory testing for parameters of pH, biological oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD), oil and fat. Next is a documentation study on the situation and condition of Lake Batur and the last is collecting secondary data as supporting data. Furthermore, the data were analyzed de qualitatively to determine the impact of tourism potential on the water quality of Lake Batur. Based on the results of laboratory testing, Lake Batur is polluted in the restaurant and pier area. The restaurant area is characterized by high BOD parameters, while the pier area is characterized by high COD parameters. Based on this, it can be seen that tourism has an impact on increasing the value of pollutants in the waters of Lake Batur. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian laboratorium Danau Batur mengalami pencemaran pada daerah restoran dan dermaga. Pada daerah restoran ditandai dengan tingginya parameter BOD sedangkan daerah dermaga ditandai dengan tingginya parameter COD. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat dilihat bahwa pariwisata memberikan dampak terhadap peningkatan nilai pencemar pada perairan Danau Batur

Abstract

Peninjoan Village has rich and unique natural tourism potential but has not been able to attract maximum tourist attention. The urgency of this research is to identify a tourism destination branding strategy design through the development of quality human resources (HR) in Penenjoan Village, Bangli Regency. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, documentation studies and questionnaires. This research focuses on designing a strong and effective tourism destination brand to increase the attractiveness of Peninjoan Village as a tourist destination.

Abstract

Marketing is an important aspect in the success of a business, including in the hotel industry. In an effort to promote their products or services, hotels need to develop an effective marketing communications strategy. One strategy that can be used is through advertising language. Green Host Hotel is an example of a hotel that offers an environmentally friendly concept. This concept emphasizes sustainable and environmentally responsible business practices. In an effort to market itself, Green Host hotels use advertising language aimed at target markets who are sensitive to environmental issues and want to stay in environmentally friendly hotels. However, even though the Green Host hotel has adopted a marketing communication strategy through advertising language, there has been no research that specifically examines the effectiveness of this strategy in attracting interest and influencing consumer behavior. Therefore, this research aims to analyze marketing communication strategies through advertising language used by Green Host hotels and identify the extent of the effectiveness of these strategies in influencing consumer perceptions and decisions.

Abstract

The selection of alternative tourism development is one form that can be done in realizing tourism development by exploring the natural potential of the countryside into a tourist village. The quality of life of the community can be seen from the lifestyle which is the main ingredient. Building a tourist village which must be able to explore the unique potential of the village so that it has a characteristic that can motivate tourists in the future. The involvement of local communities in the development of tourist villages is a very appropriate form of formulation for the sustainability of the development of the tourist village. The spiritual tourism village of Alas Metapa Paninjoan has a lot of potential that can be developed but has not been explored optimally. The natural potential of natural and spiritual tourism objects. The crafts of the people of Paninjoan Tourism Village are in the form of farming and gardening in addition to traders who produce very adequate oyster mushrooms. The attractions that become the attraction of the Paninjoan tourist village are visiting people's homes to see firsthand the making of oyster mushrooms and the packaging process in addition to visiting Pancoran 11 with soft holy water and the Alas Metapa Temple, Bukit Hill and Pondok Mahapraja.

Abstract

Desa Cau Belayu, Kecamatan Marga, Kabupaten Tabanan merupakan desa wisata yang memiliki potensi alam yang melimpah. Kondisi alam dan lahan yang cukup besar mengakibatkan Desa Cau Belayu kaya akan hasil pertanian dan perkebunannya, seperti kelapa. Namun, pengembangan aktivitas wisata di Desa Cau Belayu belum berjalan secara maksimal, mengingat masih lemahnya SDM yang berkaitan dengan jiwa kewirausahaan, belum adanya produk unggulan berbasis kelapa (something to buy) yang ditawarkan kepada wisatawan. Hal ini terkait lemahnya keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengolah buah kelapa untuk dijadikan Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO). Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk menjadikan Virgin Coconut Oil sebagai produk wisata Desa Cau Belayu melalui pelatihan pembuatan Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) kepada Kelompok PKK dan POKDARWIS (Kelompok Sadar Wisata) Desa Cau Belayu. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif yang bermaksud untuk memahami fenomena dan melakukan percobaan terkait subjek penelitian melalui metode demontrasi. Hasil pengabdian ini adalah produk Virgin Coconut Oil melalui metode pengadukan (mixer) dan metode pancingan, lalu dikemas menjadi produk wisata menarik dan siap dipasarkan kepada wisatawan yang berkunjung. Kedepannya, diharapkan produk VCO ini mampu menjadi produk wisata unggulan bagi Desa Wisata Cau Belayu untuk dipasarkan kepada wisatawan yang berkunjung (something to buy) maupun proses produksinya dimanfaatkan sebagai atraksi wisata (something to do). Setelah pelatihan ini, diharapkan kelompok PKK dan POKDARWIS dapat mengembangkan Desa Cau Belayu sesuai dengan potensi yang dimiliki dengan memproduksi Virgin Coconut Oil sebagai usaha yang berkelanjutan.
